An earth pony, with bright yellow fur and a soft orange mane. Yep, it is all in order. You are looking as good as usual. With a chuckle, you move past the mirror and the ponies holding it up. They can't be bothered with acknowledging you.

"Strange. This town is always busy but not this busy." You flick your tail as you advance.

You shake your head, shrug your shoulders, and make for Sugar Cube Corner on instinct alone. The thought of something sweet to snack on was too much to resist. Maybe one of those fancy cupcakes! You lick your lips with the imagined flavor.

On speedy hooves, you trot with purpose through the town. On your way to the store, you spot more ponies than ever before gathering in clusters, mumbling to each other excitedly. As you pass by them, you overhear them discussing a party? It couldn't be anything special today, could it?

There was the local party specialist, Pinkie, eagerly explaining things. With an "Aha!" you approach her to see if she can clue you in on what's happening. She turned away from the group she was chatting with and toward you. She smiled widely at the sight of you. "Just the pony I was hoping to see." She threw a leg over your withers and drew you closer. "My plan won't work without you."

You smile at Pinkie's overly-friendly demeanor, but shake your head to get her hoof off your back. "Wait, what do you mean?" You look up and see that she had erected an enormous banner, bold letters reading, "PONYVILLE PARTY CONFERENCE."

"This is super duper, extra important!" Pinkie leans in far too close. "I realized we forgot a pony's birthday! This cannot be allowed! Can I count on you?!"

She thrust a hoof at you expectantly.

You have a few choices:
A: Help her out!
B: You have your own work to do.
C: This is actually your day off.
