CYOA: A Day in Ponyville

Previous ChapterNext ChapterFlush with power, you march towards Town Hall. "I have a little civic objection to file." You shove your way in through the doors and up to the front desk. "It's about somepony not calling me queen. I'm thinking something like mandatory loyalty classes."
Mayor Mare looks up at you with wide eyes. "What? Ponies don't have—"
You grab Mayor Mare in your magic and force her up and over her desk, hovering in your grip. "The old ways are done. Say hello to the new ways. Starting with some retraining!"
She wiggles around helplessly. "What is wrong with you? How can you do this?"
"Magic, baby." You smile at her and give her a shake. "Now, let's start. Call me queen. Now."
She bites her lip, scowling at you as she grinds her teeth together.
You click your tongue at her. "Now now, don't make me get rough. That wouldn't be good for anypony, you included." You lean in closer. "The ponies like the job you do, and I don't want to have a new mayor. You do want to continue that little post, don't you? Even a queen could use a good mayor."
Mayor Mare starts to say something, but groans and buries her face. "Queen. Whatever. Just let me go."
You laugh with glee as you set her down and take her chair for yourself. "Very good! I am now ruler of this little town. Tell me, how many soldiers do we have at the ready?"
Mayor Mare runs a hoof back through her mane. "The town has no 'soldiers'. We have a few guards, but they are in the employ of Princess Celestia, not me."
"Fah!" You wave off that notion. "Princesses? Pssh! Nopony needs those." You open a drawer, trying to find something interesting. "Besides, she'll have nothing left once I'm done here. For now, post a 'soldiers wanted' sign out front for ponies to enlist in my new army. Chop chop." You clap your hooves for emphasis and return to your hunt.
