CYOA: A Day in Ponyville

You soar ahead at the front of the weather team. Rainbow Dash it right at your side. "Let's bust this thing! Move!" The cloud you target is starting to rumble with thunder. A charge of electricity bursts out from it. You maneuver out of the way just in time. Others aren't so lucky. They are shocked by the errant bolt, but you leave ponies behind you to treat them as you head in.

"Hey ugly!" Rainbow Dash points her wings forward, dropping straight for the cloud. You follow close behind. "This is for everypony you hurt!"

Lightning shoots up at you both. You shove against Rainbow, sending you both spiraling away from one another, but neither charred by the bolt of sizzling electricity. She laughs as she regains control and whirls around to kick into the stormy cloud. "Take that!"

It feels like a tidal wave smashes into you. A chill pours over you as you plummet through the clouds, sky rushing by. Gritting your teeth, you refuse to let up the fight. You were made to be a weather pony, able to handle just about anything nature can throw at you! You spread your wings out wide and catch the air. You force yourself into the lightning cloud, pushing it back inch by inch. "Get out of here, stupid cloud!"

"Don't you know? Every cloud has a silver lining." You hear from behind you. It startles you enough that you lose control again. A quick glance shows Rainbow Dash at your side. She has her hooves crossed and head tilted. "Hey, have you ever tried a Rainboom?"

You flail wildly. "A what? Is now the, woah!" You narrowly avoid a fresh bolt. "Now the right time?"

"When is there a 'good' time?" Rainbow rolls her eyes. "Go on, try it, or not."

You:

A: Go for a rainboom!

B: Let's stick to just handling these angry clouds, no special moves.
