CYOA: A Day in Ponyville

Previous ChapterNext ChapterYou feel some of your energy returning. Sure, it'd been a long day at the hospital, but they sounded really happy at that tavern. Plus, you could use a drink after dealing with all those patients. With a new sense of purpose, you trot over towards the music and laughter.
Inside, the tavern is packed. You spy at least four dozen ponies having fun in the warm glow of the magical lighting. You gently work your way towards the bar, feeling readier by the moment to try some.
A quick check reveals you have twenty-seven bits in your purse. "How much for an ale?"
"That'll be five bits." The tender looks you over. "First time?"
"Yes." You place down the bits. "At least here."
He slides you a tall glass of amber liquid. "Well, welcome." He smiles brightly. "It's a fine time, I think."
You accept it with your magic and take a small sip. It has that punch, but leaves your insides warm. Your fatigue of the day is fading away.
"Hey!" A sloshed mare throws an arm over you. "There's a pony with the right idea! Wooooooo!" She waves her hoof for another round for herself and another ale for you.
The bartender glances at you. You nod eagerly, now that you're not alone in this anymore. You hold one ale between your hooves, the other in your magic. At least you only work on one at a time. "Berry Punch, always nice to see you."
She slides back from you a little. "Are we friends? Why didn't you tell me before?" She flops on top of you, licking your cheek. "Mmm, you taste like medicine."
You smile awkwardly at that. "I do work at the hospital." You try to wriggle free, but Berry follows your movements with amazing ease for being so drunk. "Having fun?"
"Heck yeah!" She plants another kiss on your cheek. "Maybe I'll go give some kisses to those ponies over there. C'mon!" She grabs your glass in her teeth and tugs you off your stool.
Your horn glows as you struggle to hold onto your drinks. "Hold on! Visiting hours are very over. No bothering the patients right now."
Berry looks around in a panic. "Patients? I just came for some fun!" She releases your glass, taking her own in her hooves. "Is that a party?" She rushes off, disappearing into the crowd.
You take a gentle sip of your drink, setting the second down on an empty table. Having a second glass feels like a bad idea. You don't need to end the day like Berry Punch.
Your evening's spent watching ponies and having a good time. There's a small band that plays for a while, before another group of ponies shuffle over to a corner to play a game of cards.
You scoot over and take a seat, joining them.
It wasn't how you normally ended your days, but you decide it had been a fine day in Ponyville.
The End.
