CYOA: A Day in Ponyville

You nod eagerly at Pinkie. "I'd love to lend a hoof." You offer one just to make that extra clear. "How can I help somepony have the best day ever."

"Thank you so much!" She jumps into your side and pulls you close. "I knew I could count on you. Now what do you say we start with getting the supplies. And I need some special ponies for that." She mashes her face against your own. "Like you! You have lucky hooves and a good sniffer. It's an earth pony thing, but I got different gifts, and I'll be busy doing other stuff. Ready to join the awesome special pony squad?" She pointed over at a few other earth ponies apparently selected for the task.

You chuckle and wiggle your ears. "Yes, but what—" You don't get to finish the question, already being shoved over to join the others.

One of the other earth ponies, a smirking Bon Bon, laughs. "So, she got you too, huh? I'm not that kind of insane, so here." She pulls out a paper and puts it on the ground. "Here's a full list of what we need."

You peer at the paper. It listed a few simple things, stuff you're pretty sure you could get around town. But there were a few more exotic items too. Things you would never have thought about for a party. Some of them you just wouldn't have tried for at all! Really, the nose hairs of a tazlworm?

Who would be mad enough to go for one of those?

Bon Bon tapped at the paper. "I call dibs on the candy. I obviously have a source of that. What are you going for?"

You scan the list again and decide:

A: That nose hair can't be that hard.

B: A single scale from a blue dragon? Maybe they just dropped one?

C: Quick, run off and get the drinks. That looks less dangerous.
