Having barely escaped that dragon, gotten the scale, and rescued the party, you feel you've done all that can be asked of a pony. Now it's time to enjoy yourself! You munch on a snack cake, nibbling slowly and savoring the flavor. It's quite delicious. Pinkie does know how to throw a good party.

"You!" A pegasus stallion descends from above.

You hop back in surprise, which opens a spot for the pony to land. "Uh, hi there. Can I help you?"

He smirks. "We saw how you just took that dragon's scale." He shoves a hoof at you. "You were going up there to mess with that dragoness!"

You pin an ear back. "W-what? I mean, sorta? Pinkie asked me to get that scale!" You point off in Pinkie's direction. "She said to! Look, ask her!"

He shoves you away with a wing. "Pinkie wouldn't let you hurt a fly!" He pauses, ears falling flat against his skull. "Metaphorically!"

You force an awkward smile. "I never want to see a dragon again, promise."

He glares down at you, reaching down to grab you with his hooves. "Enough talk. Let's take you up there and set things right."

He pushes you back with a snarl. You bat one of his hooves away. "Cut that out! I am not going up there to talk with that dragon about one of her dropped scales! I like my freedom, thank you."

"Bold words for someone so outmatched!" The pegasus marches up to you, slapping a hoof against your chest. "Tell the truth!"

You slap his hoof away. "It was dropped! Do you really think I could have pulled it off? I'd die of fright before I even touched it." You cringe at the very idea of actually yanking a scale free. "No dragons were hurt."

He pauses, eyeing you for a moment. "Fine. But we'll be keeping an eye on you." He flares his wings and takes off into the sky.

Well, that was rude. You huff and return to the drink fountain for a sip. "Ponies. No manners these days."

The unicorn from earlier, the one who sells jewels, appears from nowhere and wraps an arm around your shoulders. "Right you are, my fine fellow."

You cringe, but his grip is sure. "I don't want whatever you're selling!"

He laughs. "Nonsense! I only have the finest of wares. Surely you can tell that just by looking at me." He taps your side with his own, his gem-covered beard glittering in the light.

"Very nice." You manage to wriggle away and start trotting away. "Today has been too much."

You accelerate towards home, promising to sleep things off.

That has been one stressful day in Ponyville.

The end.
