With that, Discord vanished into the vortex, which collapsed in on itself, leaving the clearing in a state of uneasy calm. The once-turbulent air grew still, the oppressive weight of chaos lifting as the vortex disappeared.

The team stood amidst the aftermath of the battle, their faces showing signs of exhaustion but also relief. Twilight and the others rushed to Sonic and his friends, their expressions a mix of concern and pride.
