Chapters The Great Sage of Equestria
Chapter 1: Hospital Horses
Paelius feels his dark grey fur start to stand on end. Before he even gets all his senses back, he knows this wasn’t where he had fallen asleep. His hearing was the next thing to return to him. There are voices speaking in a language he doesn’t understand, and it took all of his willpower to not open his eyes to look at his unknown hosts. Paelius judged that it would be best to make his current consciousness unknown to the others in the room. The language they spoke sounds almost musical and vastly different from any tongue he had heard before.
Paelius opens one eye just a sliver. From the position on his back, he can’t see very much. The first thing his vision captures is a blaringly bright light directly above him which is backed up by a completely white ceiling. There is some machinery to the side of him, but he cannot make out what the displays on them say. Paelius suddenly becomes aware of a tight feeling in his arm. He has used the device before. It is a blood pressure monitor.
‘I must be in a hospital then’ Paelius thought to himself. ‘What could have happened for ME to end up in a hospital’. Paelius can’t feel anything off about himself. He flexes his limbs slightly to make sure he can move them. He honestly feels lighter than usual, with a bit of coffee he would be top notch for a good day of ignoring friends, evading taxes, and studying all day long. Paelius muses at the thought before re-concentrating on his vision.
There are two humungous eyes looking directly down at him. ‘Fuck’. Paelius quickly lashes out with the arm that isn’t currently bound by a blood pressure sensor. He hears a pained grunt as his arm connects with the creature on top of him. Paelius tries to push himself up but collapses on himself at the huge feeling of pain resonating from his chest. ‘Not in tip-top shape then. Nothing a good cup of coffee can’t solve’. Paelius feels a magical grasp on his arms and feels them stick to the bed. He tries to use his own magic but finds that it he can’t feel any of it at all.
Paelius locks his eyes on his captors to give them a piece of his mind. He was expecting to see a feline beast person like himself, he consequently not expecting to see a group of three horses. ‘No, not horses, they’re too small, ponies’. Paelius glares daggers at his entourage. They look strange, not like any horse he had ever seen. They are small even for ponies, he suspected that even if he was standing, they would only make it to about his stomach. They are every colour on the rainbow and then some, but the most confounding part of their appearance is their eyes. They have eyes that take up almost their whole face. ‘That is a huge safety risk. If I need to get out of here, I’ll try to poke one in the eyes. God really fucked them with that one’.
“(Could you please calm down… sir)” One of the pastel ponies starts to talk. It seems to be talking to him, but he can’t tell what it’s saying. The language really is pleasant to listen to.
“I don’t know what you’re saying. And if logic holds, you don’t know what I’m saying either.” An impossibly familiar tilting of the pony’s head and shrugging of its’ withers confirms his suspicion. The pony, a stallion he had decided, has a red coat and a white mane that is spiked up in a crude imitation of a mohawk. Disregarding his vastly unprofessional appearance, Paelius deduces that this is a doctor. He has a picture of a syringe tattooed on to his flank on both sides which stretches the already pushed limits of Paelius’ tolerance of this creature.
The pony that Paelius had creatively dubbed “Syringe”, turns and starts to talk with a butter-coloured mare behind him. Paelius grunts in surprise at the to notice of a horn on her head which is glowing lime green.
“(Butter Heart, can you please drop the binding spell)”. Apparently whatever Syringe had said was ridiculous, because the mare starts to shake her head aggressively. This action also reminds Paelius of his own kind. Their body language is so familiar, and it would have really interested Paelius if he wasn’t stuck to a hospital bed.
Syringe bares his teeth at the timid looking mare and growls the same thing he had just said. The light from her horn vanishes and she cowers back from the larger stallion. The last occupant of the group, a black stallion with a grey mane, glares at Syringe but he turns around as if he doesn’t notice. Paelius feels the bindings on both his arms drop and immediately capitalizes on the freedom. He jumps out of the bed at blinding speed and grabs the unicorn mare’s horn. He starts to pull with all the force he can muster with the ridiculous amount of pain emanating from his chest. His navy-blue cloak billows behind him as he moves, it showed clear signs that they had tried to get it off him, but the protective enchantments had held.
There is a sickening crack as the mare’s horn starts to give in to his attack. At that moment, there is a second crack as two hooves collide with Paelius’ side, shooting him across the room. Paelius just prays that the damage he did to the butter-coloured pony was enough to prevent further magic usage. His prayers were seemingly answered as he hears the mare screaming.
“(IT BROKE MY HORN, IT BROKE MY HORN, IT BROKE MY HORN)” The mare kept repeating something he couldn’t understand. She is, however, in clear pain.
“(Oh buck up, your horn is just fractured not broken. Also, it’s he) ” Syringe lectured.
“(Shut your trap doc! That thing could have permanently disabled her if I hadn’t bucked it)” The dark stallion spat. He ran to the crying mare trying to comfort her.
“(Yes, and you could have seriously injured a one-of-a-kind creature.)”
Paelius looks at the snapped pen running ink down his shirt. It didn’t make a difference as his clothing was already black underneath the extravagant cloak. ‘That thing hit me with enough force to break through the enchantments on my cloak.’ Paelius ponders, slightly impressed. He stands up and discards the now useless office appliance. He looks back at his opponents who had seemingly completely forgotten about him. The mare is rolling around in the black stallions grasp. Said stallion is trying to tear apart the doctor with his eyes. Paelius decides to call that stallion Daggers. Syringe turns to look at Paelius and utter shock fills his eyes to see the biped standing. This was expected, it is to Paelius’ surprise however, to see the face light up in joy. ‘Something is wrong with this thing’. The stallion proceeds to point a forehoof at itself in a fashion that no normal horse could ever achieve and speaks a few words very slowly.
“(Blood Clot. I am Blood Clot. Blood Clot)”
By the gods, the thing was introducing itself to him. This creature either had a death wish or was completely insane. Paelius finds these characteristics quite appealing and decides to play along.
“Hello (Blood Clot)” Paelius struggles slightly to pronounce the foreign word. He can see utter shock in Daggers’ eyes, but that shock is being overwhelmed by the joy in Blood Clot’s eyes. He points to himself and tries to further imitate the white stallion. “Paelius. (I am) Paelius. Paelius.”
The delight is plastered all over Paelius’ new acquaintance’s face. The adrenaline is quickly fading, and he falls onto all fours at the reemergence of his pain. Paelius sees Daggers run out of the room with the injured mare on his back.
“(After I drop of Butter Heart, I’m going to get the princess. That thing is a threat, and you are a fool for trusting it doc.)” The door of his private little hospital is closed, and the stallion is gone.
“(That’ll probably be fine. You should get some rest) Paelius” Blood Clot stated, gesturing at the bed. He was clearly trying to sound serious but the joy of using the alien name was slipping through. Paelius sits on the bed but does not lie down. He can tell something is about to happen and he is going to be fully ready for when it comes.
Author's Note
A silly little story written about an OC in Equestria. I'm sure there are a number of grammar errors but I'm too tired to check.
While making this story I'm just gonna write as much as I can in one sitting then publish the chapter. I've barely planned anything so if you really want to you can comment a suggestion, or not.
The Great Sage of Equestria
Paelius feels his mouth curl downwards into a frown. Blood Clot had been going on for a good 20 minutes telling Paelius what certain objects were in Ponish. He had been repeating the words back to his teacher at first but now he just listens. Blood Clot has too much energy for Paelius’ liking. Paelius gets up, getting bored of sitting down. He proceeds to immediately collapse at the feeling of the pain in his chest reigniting. Finally noticing that he hasn’t checked what is causing the pain, he unbuttons his cloak and looks under his shirt.
There are large cracks running from the centre of his chest and covering his whole torso. The cracks are glowing a midnight blue which is the colour of Paelius’ magic. Paelius looks up to see Blood Clot right in front of him, staring at the wounds. He sticks out a hoof to try touch them but quickly withdraws as Paelius cut him with his claws.
“It’s like nothing I’ve ever seen before.” Blood Clot says while bandaging up the newly formed cuts. Paelius is only able to pick up a few of the words but gets the idea.
“Give me the bandages doc.” Paelius glowered. Blood Clot stands in a small stupor at how well Paelius was able to speak the language he only started learning less than a half hour ago. He is snapped out of the temporary trance by a low growl coming from the alien creature in front of him. Paelius quickly and efficiently rolls gauze all around his torso until the only way one could tell there was a wound was by the slight illumination peeking through.
“What is that” Blood Clot says, with a newfound respect for the biped. The respect diminishes at the unprofessional shrug Paelius responds with.
--=Celestia=--
Celestia rushes down the halls towards her sister’s quarters. The creature they had taken into the infirmary a few days ago has finally awoken. Immediately after there was a report of a unicorn mare who was hospitalized. Celestia herself had looked at the crack. It wasn’t irreparable but the instant show of hostility proved that this creature could not be trusted. It is currently being detained inside its room with doctor Clot stuck inside as well. According to Guardspony Obsidian Shard he was being mind-controlled by the alien. Celestia felt stupid for letting such a dangerous creature inside the castles walls.
“LUNA!” Celestia screeched in an un-princessly way. It’s fine since her escort had been left far behind due to her much larger stride. “Get up. Urgent happenings.”
“What’s the matter Tia.” Luna replied sluggishly. “We did not get any visions of an attack on Equestria. Surely you are overreacting.” Even though her mane shows the night sky it still looks disheveled and unkept. As she steps into the light of the hallway Celestia can see dark bags under her eyes, even against the dark blue of her coat.
“There was an attack by a mind-controlling alien in the infirmary.” Celestia pushed, maintaining her previous energy. Luna looks at Celestia as if she has half the mind to slam the door in her face. Celestia notices Luna’s disbelieving look and decides to double down. “Remember the creature you found sprawled in the garden.” With a nod from her sister, Celestia continues. “It attacked Nurse Heart and is controlling Doctor Clot. I saw the wound myself.”
Lunas expression changes into one of curiosity, but still not one of urgency or true belief. “Then by all means sister, lead the way.”
The princess of the Sun burst through the infirmary doors closely followed by the princess of the Moon. The former looks as if she has just been preparing for a fight, only for her aggression to quickly drop.
--=Paelius=--
Paelius is playing Solitaire on the floor of the infirmary. Blood Clot had initially taken out the cards to play Poker, but Paelius had used his slight of hand to cheat right under the doctor’s nose until he quit. Paelius feels a little better about his situation simply by concentrating on the cards instead of it.
There is a huge slam as two large ponies run into the room, flanked by five exhausted looking guards. The one that is just as tall as Paelius has an alabaster coat and a pastel rainbow mane that moves as if there is wind while the other, which is about half a head shorter, and has a dark blue coat with a mane that reflects the night sky. Both of the creatures are wearing crowns, fancy shoes, and some weird necklace thing. The shorter blue one is giving their taller counterpart a look that says “really”.
Blood Clot bows low the moment he notices their newly entered company. Paelius is easily able to piece together that the two are monarchs of some kind. ‘It honestly took me too long to get it’ he thinks.
“WHO ARE YOU!” The larger pony boomed. She flares out her wings in such a way that the playing cards go flying in all directions. “WHAT ARE YOU DOING!”
“(Well I was playing Solitaire until some flashy bitch ruined it.) I don’t speak Ponish properly.” Paelius mumbles the first bit in English before switching up to Ponish. A golden glow emanates from the horn of the large mare. Paelius scrunches his legs, ready to spring and break her horn as he did with the smaller unicorn. Paelius notices that the guards behind the two rulers are not completely useless as they raise a barrier around the diarchy. There is a flash and Paelius feels his mouth go dry.
“There. Now you should be able to speak our tongue until the spell ends.” She looks proud of herself and only those truly looking could see the small amount of surprise on her face as she notices the barrier.
“So there was a spell for this the whole time. You got some explaining to do doc.” Paelius growls in perfect Ponish.
“I am Princess Celestia, monarch of the Sun.” She states, ignoring his rude comment.
“And we are Princess Luna, monarch of the Moon.” Paelius looks the two mares up and down. They are clearly quite powerful even if they don’t compare to some of that Paelius has known before.
“My name is Paelius, the Great Sage.” Paelius decides to go with his title to inflict a bit more intimidation on them.
“And what dost thou title imply. We do not believe that title exists in Equestria.” Luna looks to her sister as if she is in need of confirmation. After she receives a nod, she looks back at Paelius with renewed confidence. Paelius gets to his feet before he replies.
“It means I’m good at magic.” Paelius replies nonchalantly, now at eye level with the alabaster alicorn. At that moment one of the guards jumps in front of his leaders and shouts.
Author's Note
For this chapter, I put Paelius' language in brackets and had all the Ponish not have brackets. I did this because there is a much larger portion of characters speaking Ponish.
Btw I put in a cover image with Paelius and Blood Clot. Idk if it's just me but the image is really blurry until you click on it. I'm not going to try fix it but it is a little annoying.
Is this chapter written worse than the previous one. I don't think I like it as much. Also this ends ridiculously abruptly and that's because I got tired and will do part 2 tomorrow.

Chapter 3: A Glim Glamorous Escape
--=Luna=--
“It means I’m good at magic.” Paelius replies nonchalantly, now at eye level with the alabaster alicorn. At that moment one of the guards jumps in front of his leaders and shouts.
“YOU DARE PUT SELF ON THE SAME LEVEL AS THE PRINCESS! GET ON YOUR KNEES AND BOW YOU INSOLENT CREATURE!” Luna watched the biped’s ears snap to the back of it’s head at the outburst.
“I was not aware I was being rude,” Paelius says in deadly calm. “I was also not aware that there was only one princess as you so helpfully stated.” Luna could have sworn that he saw the guard’s face go pale, even under his fur. She feels rage raise in her chest, even after returning, many still think of her as nightmare moon. In her peripheral vision Luna can see that sad look in her sister’s eyes, but Luna had committed to trying to kill the guard with her eyes. “Are you done because I would much rather not be here.”
With that Paelius starts to stride towards the exit of the infirmary. However, just as he passes the princesses, a different guard speaks up.
“Do you think us a joke, do you attempt to make a mockery of us. We will not let you leave this room… for the princesses.”
“How are you going to stop me. Its not like you can just teleport ahead of me.” With those words the guard’s horn starts to glow as he charges a teleportation spell. Just as he releases the spell Luna sees Paelius make a swift motion. The guard reappears just in front of where Paelius was standing moments before, but Paelius himself has vanished. The guards look of smugness disappears just about as fast as Paelius did.
“Tia, are all of your guards this easy to provoke.”
--=Paelius=--
Paelius finally started to breathe in fresh air. He was teleported into a field of impossibly crisp, lush, and green grass. The sun blared down on him from its zenith high above, the rays only faltered from a few lazy clouds. Down the slope from where he sat is a small village with two rows of houses that look almost identical. On his lap rests an ebony staff with a large sky-blue crystal ball adorning one end.
Paelius pushes himself to his feet. He feels the wind softly blow against his fur, carrying the pleasant scent of fresh baked goods from the town below. The wind also carries some idle chatter with it, nothing comprehensible from this distance, just subtle background noise.
‘Idiot, can’t believe it was that easy.’
Paelius looks over the town to see a few low mountains with caves and tunnels scattered occasionally across it. One cavity in particular glows with an ominous light that is barely visible in the broad daylight. Finally focusing on the civilization below he sees ponies trotting around happily, not a single one Paelius can spot doesn’t show off a ridiculously large smile. The only reason he chose to come to this place with his one teleport was because he felt a powerful presence local to this area. The presence is coming from a house, visibly the same as the rest, that sits at the head of the village.
Paelius starts his short trek to the even smaller village below. He can only count thirteen houses in total even though there seems to be a far larger total of residents. Paelius returns his staff to one of the magically expanded pockets on the inside of his cloak. The spaces jingle with promises of many other helpful items, a large array of books, a few weapons, and some stray potions.
As Paelius enters the town, he sees the ponies that had been minding their days business start to form a herd around him. With a closer look now, Paelius picks up on some details he had missed from afar. These ponies are not as bright as the few he had met back in the infirmary. They seem more grey and less colorful. Grey is the opposite of what their faces said, however. They all had the same large smile copy pasted on each face surrounding him. The smiles are unnervingly large and ingenuine.
‘I can feel the magic, these ponies are definitely under some kind of spell.’
The source of the great power that had dragged Paelius to this sorry corner of Equestria finally starts to approach him.
“Hello there, welcome to our small village… traveler .” A mare with a lilac coat steps out of the crowd of ponies. She has a purple mane and tail with a stripe of cyan decorating both of them. Paelius notices that every single pony in this town has an equals sign tattooed on their flanks. The mare in front of him does not have as large a smile on her face but somehow it both feels more forced and more genuine.
“Name’s Paelius, who are you?” He stated bluntly. Paelius can feel that his ability to speak Ponish is fading and that the spell Celestia had cast was wearing off.
“Mayor Starlight Glimmer. May I ask what has brought you here Paelius?” The mare’s features scrunched up slightly, as if she was trying to decode him with just her stare.
“Important business. It would be preferred I could speak to you alone.” Paelius made sure his words were clear and sharp. Starlight gave a nod to him and then a nod in the direction of the supposed town hall at the head of the village. Paelius starts to stroll a few meters behind the mayor, trying to ignore all the stares he was getting from the usual residents. They finally crossed into the foyer of the building, away from all the prying eyes of the outside world. Paelius clearly sees the mare’s demeanor change.
“What are you, who are you, and why are you here!?” Starlight’s words come out just as short, sharp and aggressive as Paelius’ had before.
“Let’s see, I’m a beastman, I am Paelius the Great Sage, and for why I’m here… that will take a bit more explaining.” Paelius tries to make words and manner feel more welcoming even if that’s nothing like his usual self. “I sensed that you are a really powerful mage and I need you to cast a spell.”
“And what kind of spell might that be Mr. Great Sage .” Paelius can hear some snark creeping into Starlight’s voice on top of the newfound temper. “Where are you from, who are you with?”
Paelius hands a book from one of his multitude of pockets which she grasps with her magic. She opens the book to the page which his bookmark had indicated and started to skim through it. Paelius takes this opportunity to get a proper look around. The air in here tastes slightly damp and it smells of many potted plants. It doesn’t take him long to spy the plants. There are figs, ivy, and even a few philodendron. There is a radio in the corner playing some common elevator music which is the only thing overlaying Starlight’s breathing and occasional grunts of surprise.
“You want me to cast a spell that will block off you magic… why?” The mare looked confused but also slightly excited. “This spell is incredibly complex; it far surpasses anything I’ve ever read about or seen before.”
“I’ve got a hole in my chest and my magic is keeping it open.” At the mention of its existence, the wound starts to increase its pain output. “As for where I’m from and who I’m with… I just came from the place where the princesses live but I’m actually from a place called Susally.”
“I doubt they would let you just leave. The princess… Wait did you say princesses? ” Starlight lost all the remaining hostility in her voice, completely entranced with the alien biped in her living room. Paelius pulled the staff out of his pocket, took a breath in, and started his explanation.
“I don’t know what’s going on with you ponies but there are in fact two princesses, Celestia and Luna.” Starlight’s mouth sits slightly agape, as if this is the most shocking news she has ever heard. “I got away by using this staff. It’s primary function is to increase the power of my channeled magic but if I use it on someone else’s magic, I can use whatever spell they use.”
“That’s fascinating.” Starlight eyes the staff in his hands, looking like she is seriously considering just taking it. Paelius quickly slips the staff back into its designated pocket. “One problem though… I don’t think I can cast this spell, it’s way too complicated.”
Author's Note
Starlight is best pony.
I have found that my dialogue is not the best, it comes out dry and fairly uninteresting. I am going to counteract this by adding as much description as possible, to both dialogue scenes and just the rest of the story in general. IDK suffer with my bad writing until I slowly get better at it. :3
Now it may seem weird to randomly jump to Starlight's village but... Starlight is best pony so she had to be in the story.
The Great Sage of Equestria
Chapter 4: Healing Through Hurt
--=Starlight=--
“One problem though… I don’t think I can cast this spell, it’s way too complicated.” Starlight Glimmer feels her stomach turn very slightly in guilt at the knowledge that she can’t help her unexpected guest. He hadn’t been very nice, but he so openly shared magic beyond anything anypony had ever used before. He even brought news of a princess she had never heard of, ruling along side Celestia. ‘I’m not sure I quite believe that.’
Starlight looks her acquaintance up and down. He has a dark grey coat with a slightly darker grey mane. The mane is braided and hangs down his left shoulder, going down to his waist and containing a spherical blue crystal hair tie and a stripe of light grey. His golden eyes stare with an intensity that makes the mare shiver. He has a slightly lighter patch of fur just above his nose as well as blue eye shadow. The sky-blue crystal earrings hanging from his large, feline ears look like a perfect copy of the tie in his hair. He is adorned with a large, blue cloak that has a hood held on by a flamboyant crystal button. The cloak also has three golden buttons running down wear it covers the torso as well as golden embroidery on the sleeves and the trail. When the towering figure moved, she could see black clothing underneath with some additional golden embroidery. Possibly the most notable feature of the not pony are the black circles under his eyes that pierce even his dark fur.
“I suppose I suspected that, you may be powerful, but you still aren’t at the level to cast a spell of that caliber.” Paelius sighs. His highly dexterous fingers fly through the pockets of his cloak as Starlight feels a pang of envy. One of his hands produce a book while the other grasps a few potion bottles. The bottles contain glittering and swirling liquids that drag Starlight’s attention immediately. His eyes flipped through the pages at a ridiculous speed as he placed all his brews on the one of the plant pots. “I have an idea… but I’m not entirely comfortable with it.”
One of Starlight’s eyebrows slowly raises up as she gives him a curios stare. “And what could make you uncomfortable, oh so powerful Paelius.” Starlight sneers at the alien in front of her. Paelius hand come up right in front of the mare and he raises only the middle finger. “Bitch”.
“Just start casting the spell and then I will use this potion.” Paelius shakes one of the bottles in front of her like she’s a foal. “To give you access to my total magic store.” The potion is a deep scarlet with little black lines snaking around the surfaces of the inside of the bottle. “As long as you immediately cast the spell… everything will be fine.”
“Well that’s reassuring. Why should I help you.” Starlight holds the mocking in her voice, but Paelius doesn’t seem to notice as he is deep in thought.
“Here. I will make you a magic enhancer kind or like my staff, in exchange you shut up and cast the stupid spell.”
“DEAL!” Before Paelius could even react, she started casting the spell. She created the shell of the spell without putting in any of the power needed for it to actually have any effect. When she finishes making the setup there is a wet feeling on her muzzle. She’s about to open her eyes to see what he was doing but she was stopped a humungous and overwhelming magical surge.
--=Paelius=--
There is a bright red flash and Paelius feels the uncomfortable sensation of his magic evaporating. The effects only last a few seconds, and the magic comes back flowing through his bones like water through a steel grate. He opens his eyes to spy the collapsed form of Starlight Glimmer. ‘Well that’s not surprising’. As he passes her, heading towards exit, he feels her breath on his heels.
“(Well shit. She didn’t die.)” Paelius exclaims with surprise clear in his original language. After Starlight cast the spell, the last grips of Celestia’s spell got destroyed. “(Now I kind of owe her… dammit.)”
Paelius finds a couch chair in one of the other rooms and plants his behind on it. He proceeds to unbutton his cloak and pull his undershirt up. The glowing blue cracks have morphed into boring black cracks. Paelius snaps his finger and a small flame dances across them momentarily before disappearing. ‘Guess my magic still has to recover… Old fashioned way it is.’
Paelius leaves the living room for a few seconds. In the other room, the running of a faucet can be heard along with the sound of water hitting glass. He returns with a jam jar full of water.
“(GET UP, WE’RE ON THE CLOCK!)” Paelius shouts releasing all of the water on her face at one. The figure on the floor jerks around violently before starting to cough sporadically while the biped sits on the chair he brought in. The chair itself is a little uncomfortable, being made for the ponies rather than alien cats. ‘Inconsiderate’.
“WHAT THE BUCK IS WRONG WITH YOU!” Starlight screeches from her place on the floor just to land on deaf ears. Paelius looks at her with a face that only registered that she spoke. In his fingers, Paelius is fiddling with something she can’t see. “Is something wrong with you?” She continues with some concern filtering in.
“I don’t speak Ponish. (Aww you care).” Paelius fumbles out the small amount of Ponish he knows before switching to a mock. Starlight lights her horn and Paelius feels a very familiar dry sensation. “Does everyone know this spell except the doc.”
“Got you a present.” Paelius states nonchalantly as he stops messing with the item in his hand. His arm lowers slowly towards the mare who was quickly losing her waking aggression.
“Ooo, a present from the Great Sage himself, what could it be.” Her signature sly grin creeping on her face, enjoying making fun of her guest.
As his fist unclenches, a platinum ring with a spherical blue crystal is revealed in his palm.
“Are you asking me to MARRY YOU!!!”
Author's Note
WHAAAAAT! A cliff hanger. Definitely writing a romance story, ignore the fact that I didn't use a tag.
I still dunno about the dialogue, I feel like I did it slightly better but I am also completely stupid. I noticed that I never actually described what Paelius looks like so I used Glim Glam to do it at the start of this chapter. Not my best work I feel. Sorry :(
Where shall I take the story now... not even I know LMAO!
