Market Battle

The heroes left the lair, putting their shoes on before heading to the robbery scene. The ninjas activated their holo-disguises and proceeded to the square, where they spotted several masked figures looting stalls, stealing valuables, demolishing market stands, and instilling fear among the citizens.

“Who are these people?” April asked in worry.

“We don't know, but this is their fourth rampage this month,” Yod explained.

“And we haven't been able to capture any of them,” Peshaan admitted.

“Well, let's show them some new adversities,” Rainbow said with eagerness.

The Ninjas and Guardians approached them.

“I don't think those are yours!” Lakshy said, gaining their attention.

The masked figures turned to see everyone, “It's Prince Yod and his friends.”

“Along with a few other kids,” another one said.

“Well, these kids are about to do a number on your face!” Raph said

“You give the word, Yod,” Leo offered Yod.

Yod got out his sword, ready to fight, “Last chance, surrender, or fight!”

“How about we fight, Princy?” the masked man said as they all pointed blasters at the heroes.

Yod looked ready as he raised his sword, “REINKANI FOREVER!”

The Guardians charged at the figures with their weapons.

“Ninjas, take ‘em down!”

The Ninjas charged at the rebels as well with their weapons in hand.

Yod took on one of the figures with his sword. The figure blasted with his laser as Yod dodged and sliced the blaster with his sword.

“Too slow,” Yod said.

But before the figure could do anything, Leo drop-kicked him.

“And too slow again,” Leo said.

“Not bad,” Yod complimented.

“You too,” Leo replied as the two fist-bumped.

Lakshy was shooting arrows at the figures.

“I don't think you paid for that,” Lakshy said as he shot an arrow at one figure who was stealing from a stand.

The figure dodged one but was struck by one arrow, which electrocuted him.

Mikey then swooped in, “Booyakasha!” He used his nunchucks to knock him down.

“Booyakasha? That sounds cool; what does it mean?” Lakshy asked.

“Nothing, it’s just fun to yell,” Mikey said as they continued fighting the figures.

Lakshy then noticed a figure approaching, so he grabbed one of his arrows. Instead of shooting it, he ran the figure, and they started blasting. Lakshy avoided them as he got close and leg-sweeped them. “Booyakasha!” Laskhy then jabbed the arrow into the figure's chest as it electrocuted him, causing him to pass out. “You're right, it was fun to yell.”

“Told ya,” Mikey said as the two fist-bumped.

Intari was running towards a fleeing figure. So she jumped on a crate and managed to pass the figure and block him with her spear. “Nowhere to run that I can't run faster!”

But then Rainbow used her super-speed to grab the figure and sped away with him. Intari got annoyed.

Rarity was fighting one when she noticed the jewels in their bag, causing her to gasp, “You dare steal such fine jewellery?!” Rarity then kneed the figure in the gut and used her sickle to slice the bag out of their hand but caught the bag without any of the contents scattering.

“Good catch,” Intari complimented as she joined in.

“Thank you, darling,” Rarity replied.

Peshaan dodged the blasts, “Now, let's talk about this. Maybe we can agree.” The figure wasn’t having it. They blasted more, but Peshaan dodged and grabbed the blaster, crushing it with his bare hand, “Don't say I didn't give you a chance.” Peshaan then punched the figure, sending him flying.

Applejack then noticed some figures aiming at her, so she lifted up a boulder and used it to block the blasts. Then Raph delivered a punch to the figure.

“Wow, you're crazy strong,” Peshaan said impressed.

“Thanks,” Applejack replied.

Soch was blasting the figures with his gauntlets. He blasted them off their feet.

“Are those sonic blasts?” Donnie asked while whacking one of the figures with his staff.

“Yeah. Really ringing their bells,” Soch said as he blasted them.

They kept taking on the figures until they managed to capture all of them.

“Who, what are you?” one of the figures asked.

“Let's just say we're here to help out the Guardians,” Leo told them.

“General Yalimi's on her way with re-enforcements,” Yod told them. “They'll be here to take them to the dungeon.”

One of the masked figures chuckled.

“What's so funny?” Mikey asked

“I don't see anything funny around here,” Pinkie said, popping up from inside a nearby barrel.

The figure spoke, “Because you're not holding us for long.”

“In case you haven't noticed,” Yod told them. “We've captured you, and reinforcements is on the way. You're done.”

“Oh, it's far from done.” Suddenly, the figures began to glow and before they knew it, they were gone.

“What?” Leo asked.

“Where they go?” Yod wondered.

Pinkie began waving her arm over the spot where the figures were sitting. “They're not invisible. Unless they already left.”

“I highly doubt that's the case, Pinkie,” Intari pointed out.

April had her hand on her head, “I don't sense them anywhere.”

“How did they do that?” Karai wondered.

Just then, General Yalimi and some guards approached.

“General,” Yod acknowledged the General.

“My prince,” Yalimi returned the acknowledgement. She then turned her attention to Intari, “Intari.”

Intari replied, “Mother.”

This surprised the Hamato Clan. “Mother?”

“Yes. Intari is General Yalimi's daughter,” Lakshy briefly explained.

Yalimi went straight to the point, “What happened here?”

“General, those figures appeared again,” Yod explained. “We managed to capture all of them, but then they disappeared.”

The General was shocked, “Disappeared? How?”

“They were all glowing and then just disappeared,” Pinkie said.

Yalimi's face deadpanned as she didn't seem convinced.

Intari could tell what her mother was thinking, “Mom, I know that seems impossible, but I saw it as well. We all saw it.”

Yalimi looked at her daughter. She can tell when her daughter is lying, and in this case, she wasn't.

Soch then stepped forward while activating his holo-computer, “I even got footage of it.”

“Wait, you recorded it?” Twilight asked.

“Well, yes. I keep a recording camera on my person when on a mission,” Soch explained. “I thought we'd learn from the footage. But don't worry, they’ll remain private.”

“That is smart,” Donnie admitted.

Soch activated the holo-screen, which showed the figures disappearing right there.

Yalimi was shocked by what she saw. Yalimi turned to Yod. “You'll need to report this to your grandmother. All of you.”

With that, the heroes made their way towards the castle.

The heroes made their way to the Castle. As the CMC, Sweetheart, and Melody approached them, they walked through the halls.

“You guys okay?” Applebloom asked.

“We're fine, sis,” Applejack reassured her sister.

“Those people were no match for us,” Lakshy boasted as everyone rolled their eyes.

“Baby girl!”

Intari rolled her eyes as Captain Kai approached. “Hi, Daddy.”

“You alright? Oh, what am I saying? Of course, you are,” Kai said as he approached his daughter. “You are my strong girl who took down those criminals.”

“Of course she is,” Lakshy said, agreeing with the Captain.

But Kai glared at him, “No one asked you, kid.”

Lakshy glared at him as the other Guardians shook their heads in disappointment.

Yod cleared his throat, “Alright, Captain, now that you know Intari's alright, we need to speak with the Queen.”

“Very well then,” Kai agreed as they made their way to the throne room.

As they walked, Mikey whispered to Lakshy, “What's the deal between you and Intari's dad?”

“He's just not a fan of me because of my parents,” Lakshy admitted. “Just thankfully that's all he hates me for.”

“What do you mean?” Pinkie asked.

Lakshy didn't answer. Yalimi discreetly looked at Lakshy and her daughter with a smirk.

The heroes made their way to the throne room, where the Royal Family waited for them. Yod had finished explaining to his family what had happened as Soch showed them the footage of the figures disappearing.

Queen Unna was shocked, “This is impossible.”

“With all due respect, your majesty,” Leo explained. “We've seen our fair share of teleportation.”

“I see,” Deepack said.

“That would explain how they keep giving you the slip,” Vera pointed out.

“They may have gotten away,” Peshaan pointed out, “But they didn't get away with any of the stolen goods from the market.”

“Yes, that is true,” Unna admitted. “Well done on stopping them.” She then turned to the Hamato Clan. “And thank you for helping them.”

“You're welcome, your majesty,” Leo replied.

“Just doing what we do,” Mikey said.

“But what I want to know is who those guys were,” Karai asked.

“We have no idea,” Yod admitted. “They've been causing trouble for a week now. The Guardians and I have been trying to capture them, but they kept disappearing.”

“Guess we now know how,” Lakshy said.

“And I get the feeling we haven't seen the last of them,” Soch said.

Yod faced Leo, saying, "Leonardo, I understand you and your friends are likely here on vacation. However, given the possible threat from these figures and our lack of experience, we could really use your assistance with this situation."

Leo looked at the others, who smiled and smirked, which indicated they were in. Leo turned to Yod and said, “Our predecessors helped Reinkani before, and we will help you now.” The two shook hands.

In a dark room, the figures were catching their breaths.

“That went well,” one of them said with sarcasm.

“Oh, far from it…”

They looked to see a man with brown skin and greyish-brown hair with a beard. He wore a black jacket with a grey waistcoat, white dress shirt, black slacks and shoes. He also had a cane. It was Dushta Bisp, the disgraced Count and former member of the Royal Family, who was banished after trying to murder his family to take the throne.

“Don't tell me the Prince and his friends stopped you,” Bisp said.

“It wasn't just them, sir. They had help,” one of them explained.

“Help from who?” Bisp asked.

“Some other kids, sir,” they said.

“Other kids?” Bisp asked, feeling his blood pressure rising.

“Yes, sir. They were clearly outsiders. They fought like the Prince, but were more skilled. They worked as a team, and some had powers.”

That sparked Dushta's interest, “What kind of powers?”

“Well, one was very strong. Another could levitate stuff. And another was fast...”

That last one got Dushta's attention, “Did you say one of them was fast? Was it a girl with Rainbow coloured hair?”

“Yes sir, how did you know?”

Dushta thought deeply, “I got some things to think about. Dismissed.”

The figures left, leaving Dushta alone.

“So, that Rainbow-haired girl has returned, along with others. Then I guess we'll have to up our game,” Dushta said as he turned to four figures in the shadows. “Reinkani will be mine.”
