The Pink Death

The light of the sun came into the room as Twi slowly opened her eyes and got up out of bed. She walked downstairs in the library where she saw Spike eating. After a bit of eating breakfast she was about to get up when Spike burped up a letter with his fire breath.

Twilight slowly took the letter up with her magic and unfurled it.

Dear Twilight Sparkle

Me, Princess Cadance, and other high ponies are having a gala party at the Canterlot Castle.

We think you would make a great addition to the party, I also haven’t seen you in a while and I want to catch up with what you were doing all this time.

“Ooooooo! A party! I can have so much fun there with all the ponies there! And with the Princess and Cadence? This is awesome!” Then Twilight grew a grin as she muttered to herself. “Even better, I have some unfinished business with Celestia, loooonnnggg overdue…”

As Twilight left Spike and started walking to the Canterlot train station, she noticed something. Everypony was quiet and looking at her as they whispered to each other.

The rumors were spreading, about AJ, Rarity, and other shenanigans they have seen their friendship princess do.

Highbeam stopped for a second, breathing heavily while looking at his picture of Twilight next to the typewriter.

Meanwhile Blueshift stood at the open door, not moving or saying anything, her mind debating whether to enter or leave him alone.

Her wings fluttered, as if telling her to go in and talk to him, while her body restrained. Her mind won as she silently walked away.

Twilight stood in front of the big white Canterlot castle, her eyes glowing, the last time she went to the princesses castle it was still the Castle of The Two Sisters. She then walked up to the main door and the two guards opened up and she walked past them.

“Thank you!” She chirped happily as she walked into the big hall, after the guards closed the main door one of their faces became confused.

“D-Did she seem a bit….friendly to you-”

“I'm too tired alright I can’t be in stupid conversations right now.” The other guard retorted while the other one got a sour face before looking away.

Twilight was in awe looking at the colored window designs, her eyes huge in excitement. As she walked the sound of the party got louder, just when Twi was about to open the door to the party, she heard a voice, her face turned into annoyance and she groaned.

You know you're annoying when somepony like me wants nothing to do with you….

Twilight sighed and looked to the side to see somepony walking towards her with his usual expression.

“Twilight! I didn’t expect you to be here, I thought this galla was for real royals! Hahaha!” The pony said in his usual smug expression.

Prince Blueblood….We meet again….

The Twi got an idea to get rid of him, to stop him from being his usual annoying self, forever. With a flash of her horn a pink bouncy ball appeared behind her on the floor as she put on a fake smile.

“Blueblood? You're here too? I didn’t see you anywhere, have you been here all day?” Twi said with gridded teeth trying to keep the mask on.

“Well in fact I ha-..what's that?” Both of them looked back as the pink ball on the ground.

“I…don’t know…maybe somepony dropped it? Check it to see if there is a name on it.” As Blueblood slowly walked to the ball, Twi’s smile grew in evil contortion.

As Blueblood bent his head down to look closely at the ball, he touched it with his hoof then the sounds of shrieking appeared. Blueblood was now sinking into the ground as if it was quicksand, blood spilling out as his skin burned while he slowly went into the hellish fire hole.

Now, all that remained was the pink ball on the floor, and a warm spot on the quartz floor. Twi then walked up to the ball and began bouncing it up and down while giggling.

“Your pink perfection is why im having fun!” Twi said to the ball who didn’t respond, she flashed the ball away before going into the party room.

When the door opened a bright light filled the room with partying ponies talking and socializing, and at the end of the room was a big throne with Celestia and Cadance talking to each other, Twi grew a smile as she ran up to the throne. She stopped right at the throne causing both princesses to stop talking and see her.

“Twilight! It’s good to see you again” Cadence said as she hugged Twilight and she hugged back, then they let go and did what they always did.

“Sunshine, Sunshine, Ladybugs Awake! Clap Your Hooves, and Do a Little Shake!”

Both the mares said while doing the dance along with it before laughing. Celestia also chuckled seeing this unfold, then Twi turned her attention to the white alicorn.

Dr. Highbeam stopped as Blueshift put her hoof on his arm.

“Trust me, a break will get your mind cleared up and help you.”

“You sure? Cause I could use a break and take some time not thinking about what happened..”

“Come on, I made pasta!” Blueshift said with a smirk, High Beam stopped and licked his lips, she knew that his favorite food was pasta, it was her usual way to get Highbeam on her side.

For that Highbeam for the first time in a while, went out of his chair and walked with Blueshift towards the kitchen while Blueshift laid her wing on Higbeam’s side, with Higbeam giving her a glare, with his assistant only giving him a smile in return.

After a long meal and break Highbeam returned to the room, and Blueshift left him alone, a big smile now on his face for the day. His smile faltered a bit as he saw the typewriter again. He sighed and he got back up on his seat and started typing, but he still liked the time he spent off this story.
