Took this long bc I recently got a game and I'm addicted... along with procrastination

(I also changed the story to teen because Mature is really only used for sex stories...)

I also keep on thinking of other stories that I want to do.

But don't worry since the finale is coming up....

A Spark of Hope | Part 1

“I bet you’re all wondering why I brought you here today.” Celestia said in her royal manner, who stood amongst Tia was Luna, Cadence, and the main 6, only minus Twilight and Pinkie. Dash glared at the princess before something came out of her mouth.

“Yea! We all wanna know your reason behind hurting our frie-” Dash was going to continue but AppleJack pulled Dash’s tail to get her to shut her mouth. Dash just laid there in silence while still giving an angry look at Celestia.

“*sigh*...well, Twilight has fallen to ‘it’” Tia said while a shadow went over her eyes. Luna felt something deep down, like if Tia is one word away from a breakdown.

“Sister..we went through many evils in our millenias of living. At least be more specific.”

Tia then glared at Luna and spoke through gritted teeth to stop herself from screaming in sorrow.

“The Pink Death…” With that the ponies all remain confused, except for Luna who has her eyes wide and starts whispering something in a fast manner before being loud enough to hear.

“H-How? We haven’t gotten a case in so long. We banished it! How could it have remained?” Luna was trying to stop a panic attack forming.

“Uhh..not to interup’ but we are all confused here.” AppleJack said noticing the air get cold.

The two mares laughed as the sun started to set. Twilight and Pinkie both stood at the counter as Pinkie was teaching Twi to make cupcakes.

Meanwhile Twilight stood in the black void, her throbbing brain feeling like her head was about to burst. She then snapped, glowing her horn while shooting magic in random directions to try and break free.

The magic only went in the air for miles and faded away with distance. Twilight groaned, then got an idea, the one thing that doesn’t stretch for miles, the floor below her.

Twilight began using all of her magic in this weakened state and began to shoot at the ground, sweet forming on her head as she tried to use all the magic and energy she had.

While Pinkie was putting the cupcakes in the oven Twilight’s face then quickly turned to one of no expression.

“Wait here, I gotta use the bathroom.” Twilight said before going into the bathroom before closing her eyes.

A white face appears in the void again looking bored at Twi’s antics.

“Don’t even try, you can’t break free. Stop wasting both of our time.” Twilight pushed the last bit, her horn glowed brightly for a few seconds before she fell on the ground in a sweaty heap. The parasite only laughed before fading away.

As Twilight laid on the ground trying to regain her strength, she saw something in front of her. A small white crack on the void floor.

“YES YES!” Twilight yelled out pumping her hoof before instantly going into shock and horror. “That little crack, required that much energy? I’m reaching my breaking point…”

“S-So..T-Twilight is…possessed?” AJ cautiously said, each pony now had a look of horror on their faces, while both Luna and Tia had stone cold faces.

“*Sigh*. Yes, unfortunately your friend has fallen to it after centuries of it being gone. However, I have a plan.” Celestia said while looking down at Ponyville from a big glass window.

“We need to break Twilight free from the parasite.”

“Sister, there has never been a case of somepony breaking away from the corruption.” Luna warned as she walked up to her sister.

“Well what else are we supposed to do!?” Tia roared. “We’re talking about Twilight! She is an alicorn! Just imagine all the powers that parasite holds, we need to try and get it out of her system.”

“The plan, even a parasite like the one right now, has its limits. If we cause Twilight enough pain and agony, the parasite will reach its limits and free Twilight from its grasp.” Tia turned to the girls. “That is why I brought you here, while the alicorns can do some pain, I'm sure the elements would help us try to reach the limits.”

“W-What happens if…we cause too much pain? Or what if we keep going without knowing the parasite left?” Luna said, still trying to get her sister to reconsider.

“We will try our best to not let that happen, if it does happen we might cause permanent damage to Twilight,” Tia looked away to the window again to block her teary face. “Or even worse…”

Two ponies laughed in the gingerbread house, their laughs sounding like one of a filly. They could go laughing for hours if breathing wasn’t a necessity.

Pinkie and Twilight laughed together as Pinkie had a whiteboard with tally marks. Twilight spun an oxygen filled balloon on the table. It stopped and pointed to the pink mare, in response one side cheered and the other groaned as Pinkie put another tally on her side.

“Come on! You’ve won for the past 18 spins! You must be cheating!” Twilight defended upon seeing that her tally marks were a scratch compared to Pinkie’s score.

“For the last time Twi, I ain’t cheatin’, just lucky.” Pinkie tipped an imaginary hat, as she did an AppleJack impression.

Twi’s expression faltered for a bit as she felt a darkness become stronger.

More ponies know about my secret? Let's see… my friends? Well, except one…

In the middle of Pinkie laughing, Twilight stood up and looked at her friend.

“Pinkie, what would you do if you were the ruler of Equestria?” Twilight said with a smirk as she went and sat next to Pinkie, who when asked the question stopped laughing to think.

“Uhh…probably make parties everyday, all day!” Pinkie said while picturing the parties, the ponies having all the time, the balloons, the crowd laughing. Before Pinkie could think longer Twilight’s voice cut her train of thought off.

“Well, I can make that a reality..” Pinkie only froze and stared at the purple mare.

Might as well even the playing field, with this one on my side, she can help me get closer to my goal..
