The Pink Death

Twilight stretched her hooves in the air as she woke up early in the day. She did a couple back stretches while she stood on the floor while yawning. Before she walked out the front door she stopped and had a feeling, she felt something was off.

Somepony knows… I don’t know who, but somepony….

Twilight thought carefully on what to do, if she goes outside the pony who knows might catch them. So Twi closed her eyes and focused for a bit, after a bit of seconds she opened her eyes again, but now her eyes were back to their original purple.

That was a parasite’s last resort, changing the eye color back makes a perfect disguise, the only reason they don’t do it all the time is that it takes up a lot of energy to keep the perfect camouflage.

She opened the door and walked out. It was a normal happy day in Ponyville, but as she walked slowly she looked around trying to spot the one who found out.

No one else knows my secret..but then who does-

“AAAAHH!” Twilight yelped as something large hit her side with such force she began to fly a few feet away, as she flew she felt a sharp pain in her side and her leg before hitting the wall.

Silence filled the town as a crowd formed with everypony in shock. As Twilight tried to get up she looked at herself and saw a huge gash on her side leaking blood, and one of her hind legs was bent in the wrong direction.

Damnit, gonna have to fix this before this body becomes useless.

Twilight looked up to what had charged at her like a bull, she froze and saw Princess Celestia herself giving Twi a death glare after doing the bull ramming thing. Everypony was giving their princess a look of horror at what she had done.

Celestia began slowly moving towards the hurt mare as ponies were wondering why their princess would hurt someone so close to her. Each step gave Twilight a bit of a migraine as she tried to think of how to get out of here.

No one else knows my secret…THE HOSPITAL!

“GET AWAY FROM ME!” Twilight screamed with tears out of her eyes as she teleported away to the hospital, leaving shocked and angry ponies with a stone-faced Tia whose face wasn’t moving.

Twilight’s head throbbed back and forth from the loss of blood, meanwhile Nurse Redheart was stitching up the gash on her side, she had already put a cast on her hind leg before and now Twilight wanted to just go to sleep.

“There, that should do it, you feel alright? After…everything?”

“I-I don’t know, why would Celestia hurt somepony so close to her…why…?” Twilight acted out with small tears forming. Redheart just looked her in her eyes with a reassuring look.

“ I know everything must be a jumble in your mind right now, but me and all the ponies are here for you. Just get some rest alright? If you need me just press the nurse button.” She concluded before walking out the door.

Before going to sleep Twilight needed to do something but couldn’t with this fatigue, she was also alone now so she quickly broke the disguise, causing her eyes to fade back into pink.

She opened a little hole in the sky in front of her that showed her a view of the rest of her friends talking at a table about what happened, each with a worried and sorrowed expression. Twilight smiled at that.

They really do care about me…

Then an evil smile grew

They would do anything for little ol me…

With that she closed the spell before looking at the ceiling with a yawn.

“Guess I was wrong about this body, this body is a one way ticket for lots of fun…and revenge..” Twi chuckled before turning to her side to go to sleep.

“DRINKING!? Y-Your drinking now? Why!?” Blueshift screamed as she went to Highbeam’s side.

“L-loookk, j-zust calm down alright. It takes the pain away from the story.”

“Drinking will get you nowhere, you have to face the emotions you feel to get past them!”

“L-Like *hic* like you were affected by Twilight's incident.”

“Of course I am! You think I’m not affected by her? I used to babysit you two, does that not say how much I cared for you and Twilight?”

“Fiiiinnne if you say so…no more drinking if you stop complaining.”

“F-Fine.” Blueshift said before carrying the loopy Highbeam to the other room to cool off.

Twilight was now in Ponyville a few days after the incident. She had stitches on her side and her right hind leg was pinned against her body with some bandages wrapping around her back body to keep that broken leg still.

The ponies all looked at her in sorrow and pained expressions. Twilight knew where she was going, someplace she wanted to go for a while and would be perfect to calm her down and make bigger bonds.

She went up to the door, her eyes turning back to purple, then knocking the door to SugarCube Corner.

“WHY DID YOU HURT TWILIGHT!?” Cadence roared with angry tears flowing down her cheek. While Celestia was trotting in the room in a circle.

“You don’t understand, I have been alive so long that I have seen evils and other things you would never know. When I saw Twilight yesterday, I saw an evil..”

“W-What are you talking about? You just hurt someone not ONLY close to you, but close to ME!”

Celestia only sighed and turned away from the crying alicorn, and looked out the window, something came to her mind, a poem, that was just made it described how Equestria had changed from its happy paradise to a realm of misery ever since the parasite was released. She started saying it for herself and Cadence to hear, over and over.

This world was good, it knew no wrong.

All its charm, it's just all gone.

So until this world is fully done,

Ponies will fall, one by one…
