Day 2&3: Speeding things up.

Previous ChapterNext Chapter

Bad Guy looked around his old room, his father was next to him, the green haired demon, Good Guy.

Bad Guy didn't feel an ounce of shame at what he knew his father wanted to talk about. His actions the day after he beat Dan at a maybe majorly unfair game of power since Bad Guy had all the power at his finger tips. "Nice Guy, I expected much better of you. Not only do you assult someone, but you're unfair about, not giving them a hope of victory. You shall leave my sights and never return!" Good Guy said. Bad Guy never liked his "legal" name, he hated it infact. Bad Guy had many steps to take, the first of which was making a base.

Finding a good location, Bad Guy got to work and when it was finished, Bad Guy got out the Magic Crystals he had... "legally acquired" and made them into his base's signiture teleport crystals, allowing him to go from world to world without fear.

Bad Guy slowly awoke from that dream, when he woke up he went to make his mane and tail up. He still knew very little he could do with magic but for now he was fine with using the bs that is his hooves to hold the brush.

He had planned for doing some more recon but... well. The moment he got through brushing, Rarity filled him in on the... unprecidented change of plans. "See, darling, I wanted to spend some time with you and Sweetie Belle after seeing how well the two of you get along so... I figured what better day to do it than today!" Rarity said.

"Literally any other day, but... whatever, fine. I'll humor you," Bad Guy said, more eager to get it over with more than anything. It didn't take long before Sweetie Belle and her little bat friend came down and Rarity entered a new state that Bad Guy thought to call "dramatic." In that Rarity was freaking out over a bat being in her house. "Rarity, calm the freak out, for one thing, Sweetie Belle has the bat tamed, and secondly, you're overreacting because it's a bat, what harm can it do to you?" Bad Guy asked, definitely knowing that unicorns were more mages than physical tanks.

Rarity started calming down as the trio went out and to... a park. Rarity and Sweetie Belle knew this place well, Bad Guy was just following really. His pocket pack on his back.

It wasn't long after he had a seat that Rarity and Sweetie Belle seemed to get interested in something. Raising his head, Bad Guy looked at what it was. A piercing gaze. It was Rainbow Dash and that orange flightless pegasus filly. Rarity and Sweetie Belle were speaking with the respective pony but Rainbow Dash just glared at Bad Guy. She knows something and he'll prevent her from ruining his goal.

The bat Sweetie Belle had tamed looked at Rainbow Dash glaring at Bad Guy... and then rushed at her, attacking her. "Screech!" The bat said as Bad Guy rushed up.

"I knew it, this bat's with you, isn't it?!" Rainbow Dash accused while the pegasus filly looked shocked that her idol got struck... and by a bat of all things.

"Rainbow Dash, I gave no orders for the bat to attack you and even then, I didn't tame the bat. Sweetie Belle did," Bad Guy explained by Rainbow Dash didn't seem to buy the truth.

"Mr Bad Guy's right, I tamed the bat, I noticed you glaring and I think the bat understood I didn't like you glaring even without me saying anything," Sweetie Belle tried to help the situation but it seems Rainbow Dash is convinced anything involve Bad Guy is bad news. She isn't wrong but come on, can't she wait until the Summer Sun Celebration!

Rarity and Sweetie Belle tried to clear my name but Rainbow Dash wasn't taking any of it. She gave an "I'm onto you" expression before flying off.

"... I haven't even done anything, why is she accusing me of anything?" Bad Guy asked, mostly to himself. But then he realizaed it... she left residue godly energy... Brendan. He's out and spreading the truth as he did to Sweetie Belle. Bad Guy has to be careful now.

Bad Guy sighed, unsure of what was going to happen. Appearently the Summer Sun Celebration was going to happened early which, based on what he read on history in the town library, was meaning that the Summer Sun Celebration was now set to occur when Nightmare Moon's banishment ended. He had no time to execute a plan... it couldn't be hard to stop them... right? They are just ponies with godly energy... right?

The next day...

Bad Guy regretted the fact that even Nightmare Moon had no idea this had happened. Nightmare Moon was now at the verge of losing it. And to make things worse? A sixth pony completely covered in godly energy appeared! A purple unicorn, as well! Bad Guy and Nightmare Moon were now pacing because they were worried about how the plan would go. Bad Guy promised himself he would win...

Sweetie Belle poked her head through the doorway of the abandoned castle, she saw Bad Guy and Nightmare Moon pacing in worry... Sweetie Belle knew Nightmare Moon and Bad Guy were evil but... she couldn't help but want to help them. Shame that before they knew it, the Mane 6 arrived, Bad Guy quickly hid away as he did something, Nightmare Moon pretended that she had just gotten there and as Nightmare Moon distracted the Mane 6, Sweetie Belle quickly and quietly sneak by to the room where Bad Guy hid, her bat following every step.

When she entered the room, Bad Guy was hurrying to draw a symbol on the ground, Sweetie Belle knew that symbol. It was one given by an ancient being after all. However, it looked shoddy so Sweetie Belle quickly took the chalk and started drawing a better one for Bad Guy. "Uh... thanks," Bad Guy said as he poured energy into it and started summoning something... but it was a little too late... the door opened, a familiar sword in the magic of Twilight Sparkle, the last pony to arrive. "Ugh... damn. Guess I'm dying again... hahaha... oh by Brendan's name am I flipped... go ahead... just do it... I know you are," Bad Guy said, confusing everyone... except the alicorn in the shadows. Sweetie Belle noticed that energy on her own... the oddness of her dream feeling ever present.

"Brendan, come out from the shadows," Sweetie Belle said, her bat friend seeming to get agressive.

It wasn't long before the white winged, caramel coated alicorn showed his face. "Clever eye. Tell me, what does Bad Guy offer you, I'll double it if you step away from him," Brendan said in his beautious voice.

"Guess what, zero times zero is still zero. I did all of this of my own wish with no reward or offer given," Sweetie Belle replied.

Twilight looked hesitatent but approached anyways, "Listen... we're doing this for the greater-"

"Do not give me that! Greater good or not, Bad Guy deserves to live as much as the next pony! You want to know something, the entire time I've know Bad Guy, he's been nothing but open to me. I know of his crimes but I believe he has the right to live like any of you!" Sweetie Belle said in a way that shocked Bad Guy... she believes... he has the right to live?

Applejack and Rarity did look at each other for a moment. "Partners, sorry but... ah agree with Sweetie Belle. Her point's solid as a brick wall," Applejack said.

"Yes, while... I may not like his crimes... Sweetie Belle is right. Who would we be if we just took away this chance he had to live a life?" Rarity said. Twilight looked like she wanted to refute that but... the words wouldn't come.

"Then I guess I have no more to say. If Bad Guy becomes a monster who you cannot quell with words, do not hesitate to strike him down with that blade. As for you Bad Guy. Given what I noticed today, you shall be free to live and do your own thing, whatever that thing is. But if I hear of you being a monster and they don't strike you down, I will smite you myself," Brendan said as he vanished in a dark portal.
