My Little Demi: Friendship Is Magic REBOOT

The sun rises meaning a new day is here! Everypony's mornings are always divine. Well... today is different for somepony. DemiTwi wakes up grumpy. She had been hoping Princess Sunrise had changed her mind. Sadly, Princess Sunrise's mind had been set. DemiTwi looks at her suitcase and groans. DemiSpike wakes up not too long after and looks at DemiTwi with exhausted eyes.

"What time is it... it's so early... we never wake up this early." DemiSpike says rubbing his eyes.

DemiTwi yawns before getting up and casually ignoring DemiSpike's question. She trots around each room making sure it is clean before heading to the kitchen to make something for DemiSpike and herself.

DemiSpike follows DemiTwi and sits at the table. He opens a book about dragons and starts reading away while waiting for DemiTwi to finish.

"I noticed the rooms were cleaner than usual. Did you clean them?" DemiTwi asks.

DemiSpike looks up from his book and smiles a bit, "Yeah, I did... I just didn't want you to have so much work this morning. Especially since we're basically moving out." DemiSpike says.

DemiTwi chuckles a bit before setting the plates of food on the table. DemiTwi looks at the book and immediately lets out a sigh.

"DemiSpike, you're perfect the way you are... you don't need to keep researching about other dragons to see if they have fur as well." DemiTwi says.

DemiSpike closes the book and sets it aside, "...sorry." DemiSpike says.

"It's fine. Just eat your food. We gotta get going as soon as we can. Princess Sunrise informed me that we would be moving into what she called ‘The Golden Oaks Library.’”

"So, we're gonna be living in a library is what you're trying to say. Sounds... exciting, I guess." DemiSpike says.

"It sure does," DemiTwi says eating her food.

Suddenly, DemiSpike starts to choke. DemiTwi immediately gets up and tries to help DemiSpike get the food out. DemiSpike suddenly then burps out a scroll sent by the princess. DemiTwi suddenly lets out an annoyed sigh due to the false alarm.

"She should seriously start sending notes a bit less... forcing," DemiTwi says holding up the note with her magic.

My dear faithful student, I send this scroll to wish you good luck in your adventures that will come upon you in the sweet village Ponyville. I just know you will meet many sweet ponies and make some friends that will aid you in your adventures there.

Your mentor, Princess Sunrise.

"What does it say? Was it something important?" DemiSpike asks.

"It was just Princess Sunrise telling us good luck in Ponyville. Hehe. You done eating?" DemiTwi says.

"Yeah. I'm done."

"Alright, get your suitcase. We're going."

DemiTwi and DemiSpike look around each room one last time to ensure they collected everything. They make sure they have gotten everything before exiting the home. While making their way to the train station DemiSpike keeps his profile low. DemiTwi assures him he won't be made fun of and keeps him beside her. The two make it to the train station and enter one of the trains to Ponyville.

The two sit next to each other waiting to arrive at the Ponyville train station until a random unicorn speaks up.

"Uhm, excuse me, ma'am. Is that a... furry-"

DemiTwi immediately gave a glare at the unicorn. DemiTwi did not seem to like what the unicorn was about to say. The unicorn immediately shut up and continued with her business. DemiTwi sighed and looked beside her at the sleeping DemiSpike. DemiTwi had made herself a promise to never let another pony hurt DemiSpike in any way, shape, or form.

The train suddenly stops at the Ponyville train station. DemiTwi carries DemiSpike on her back and heads outside. She makes her way out the train station and heads into the village. Lots of ponies DemiTwi has never met before roam the village. DemiTwi was not used to seeing many of the different pony races here. Usually, she only saw unicorns due to Canterlot mostly being home to the high standard ponies like unicorns.

DemiTwi continued to roam the village till she arrived at the Golden Oaks Library. She quickly grabbed the scroll and opened it to make sure she was at the correct location. After making sure she was at the location she entered the home. She set aside her and DemiSpike's suitcase and turned on the lights. Her eyes were met with the sight of many books on the bookshelves. More books than she ever had in her old home is Canterlot. DemiSpike's eyes fluttered open after the nap he had. He looked around the new home and got off DemiTwi's back.

"That's... a lot of books!" DemiSpike said.

"I know right? This is a lot! ...we are gonna have to clean this up... The pony who was here before obviously did not have the manners to clean this up after moving out." DemiTwi says.

"Good thing I love cleaning!" DemiSpike says.

DemiTwi chuckled and immediately got to work cleaning. She started reorganizing the books in alphabetical order. DemiSpike started to broom the floors helping DemiTwi out time to time. The two quickly cleaned the library exhausted.

"Phew... that was a lot. The pony who was here before was lazy." DemiTwi says throwing shame onto the pony who was there before.

"Eh. It's whatever! Let's look upstairs! I assume the bedrooms are there." DemiSpike says running off upstairs.

"Hey! Wait up!" DemiTwi says chasing DemiSpike upstairs.

DemiTwi catches up to DemiSpike only to see another mess. DemiTwi groans in frustration. DemiSpike immediately runs back downstairs to get the broom. After he came back up he starts sweeping while humming happy tunes. DemiTwi joins in the sweeping by creating a magic broom. After the two finish they start organizing the tiny hallway.

"I seriously don't understand how it was a big deal to clean up the place when moving out." DemiTwi says annoyed.

"I don't mind it! Besides, maybe they were in a rush." DemiSpike says.

DemiTwi rolls her eyes and finishes up sweeping. DemiTwi opens the door to the main bedroom. She lets out a relieved sigh when she sees the previous pony at least cleans the bedroom. She follows DemiSpike to the other room.

"Wow!! Another bedroom?! I can finally have my own bedroom!" DemiSpike says happily.

"Yup. Hehehe. Well, I'll leave you to settle in. Your suitcase is downstairs. I'll continue looking around." DemiTwi says.

DemiSpike nods and runs downstairs to get his suitcase. DemiTwi turns back to the bedroom and looks around. The bedroom is quite nice. She quickly goes back downstairs to get her suitcase to settle. She makes it back up to the bedroom and starts taking out her stuff. After setting her stuff where she liked most, she trots downstairs. She looks at all the books on the bookshelves. So many books... so many unread words. Suddenly, there is a knock at the door. DemiTwi trots to the door. When she opened it, she is met with... ... no pony?

DemiTwi looks around but she can't see a pony in sight. She is slightly annoyed but also a bit confused. She looks at the sky and notices that the day is nearly over. She decides it's time to rest and tomorrow she will explore the village with DemiSpike. She shuts the door and trots upstairs to her bedroom. Before she entered her bedroom, she trotted to DemiSpike's bedroom. She pokes her head through the door and sees DemiSpike sleeping peacefully. She smiles and closes the door.

DemiTwi then makes it to her bedroom and lays down in the bed. She slowly but surely fell asleep.

The sun's rays slowly shine into the bedroom window. DemiTwi is quickly awoken by the sunrays. She gets up and stretches. She slowly gets out of bed and trots downstairs. She sees DemiSpike awake reading a book.

"Hm? Oh! Good morning!" DemiSpike says.

"Morning! I was just about to go out and see the village. It seems nice and I think it would be good to know the place." DemiTwi says.

DemiTwi starts to trot towards the door until DemiSpike puts down the book and follows.

"What? You wanna come along?? You never like going out." DemiTwi says confused with a small smile.

"Well, I think it'd be nice to... know the place like you said. Oh! and help you make some friends like Princess Sunrise said." DemiSpike says.

DemiTwi's smile immediately fades. She had forgotten what she had been assigned in the first place. She was sent here to make friends. Not continue studying and reading. How could she have forgotten? It was the main purpose she was sent to live here. DemiTwi puts DemiSpike on her back and trots outside a bit mad. DemiSpike notices this and tries to cheer her up.

"Come on, DemiTwi! I don't think the ponies here are that bad... they all seem... pretty nice." DemiSpike says looking around at the ponies around them.

DemiTwi sighs and continues walking around. She notices that the village is a lot bigger than she thought. There are lots of nice ponies, homes, and even decorations. This scenery calms her and makes her zone out a bit.

"...you know... maybe you could try speaking to somepony?" DemiSpike asks snapping DemiTwi out her daydreaming.

"mmm.. perhaps... but who-"

Suddenly a light pink pony with a yellow mane bounces up to her. The timing couldn't be more perfect.

DemiTwi and DemiSpike stay looking at the pony as they stare back. Who is this pony? How could they know that DemiTwi and DemiSpike were gonna try speaking to some pony?
