My Little Demi: Friendship Is Magic REBOOT

DemiTwi reads a book in her library early in the morning. DemiTwi doesn't sleep much because she is very focused on her studies and improving her knowledge by any means possible. Sometimes she would experience consequences such as lacking in motivation or harming herself. Still, she continues this unhealthy habit. DemiTwi is suddenly startled by DemiSpike running into the room looking as if he's gagging. DemiTwi gallops towards him and starts to pat his back.

"Easy there," DemiTwi says with a knowing face.

DemiSpike suddenly what seems to look like burp out a scroll. DemiSpike gasps for air before calming down a bit. He gets the scroll and hands it to DemiTwi.

"Sorry... I'm still not used to burping out scrolls. It's such a weird feeling." DemiSpike says.

"Honestly, who would get used to that? It's weird in my opinion!" DemiTwi says grabbing the scroll and opening it.

My dearest most faithful student, I need you to report to the castle for a very important discussion. I ask for you to report right away as soon as you are available.

DemiTwi is slightly confused by this scroll but doesn't question it any further. She grabs her journal and starts heading to the front door.

"Hey! Uhm... where are you going?" DemiSpike asks.

"Princess Sunrise called me to a very important discussion. I promise I won't take long. I'm pretty sure it's nothing too bad." DemiTwi says.

DemiSpike nods and heads to one of the bookshelves to read. DemiTwi smiles softly and trots outside. She starts heading to the castle keeping a low profile. Ever since she was asked to be friends with somepony she hadn't exactly been hoping for another conversation. Especially if it was to be friends with somepony else. DemiTwi finds herself in the front castle doors. She takes a deep breath and makes her way into the castle. While trotting towards the destination she thinks to herself.

What will this discussion be about?

Have I done something wrong?

What is she gonna tell me?

DemiTwi arrives at the doors of the throne room. She takes another deep breath and opens the doors to find Princess Sunrise on her throne signing scrolls.

"Uhm... Princess Sunrise? You called me?" DemiTwi asks shyly slowly starting to trot into the room.

Princess Sunrise looks up at DemiTwi and sets aside her scrolls and quill. She fixes her posture and fixes her eyes on DemiTwi once more.

"DemiTwi, my faithful student, I have been meaning to have a word with you." Princess Sunrise says.

DemiTwi takes on a more serious expression and makes sure to show she is listening. She nods to signal Princess Sunrise to continue speaking.

"I have seen your studies, and I am very impressed to see such a very educated and talented unicorn in magic. I haven't had such a hard-working student as you in forever." Princess Sunrise says.

DemiTwi smiles at the praise she is getting. Though she is slightly confused. Why had she called her here just to praise her when she had said that it was about something urgent? Was it to just show how great she had been in her studies? Or was it for something else?

"Thanks, but I'm pretty sure you could have just sent another scroll to praise me. I don't understand why you truly called me here princess..." DemiTwi says softly.

Princess Sunrise's expression suddenly turns a bit more stern and serious.

"Though, I have realized how this could harm you." Princess Sunrise says.

DemiTwi suddenly looked even more confused.

"Harm me? How could being a smart pony harm me?" DemiTwi asked curiously.

"Not that being smart could hurt you. Excuse me for my horrible wording. What I mean is how being alone and focusing on studying every day is hurting you." Princess Sunrise says.

The room stays quiet for a moment until DemiTwi starts laughing a bit. DemiTwi then looks up at the princess with a small smile.

"Princess Sunrise, I have DemiSpike there with me to keep me company while I study! I am fine!" DemiTwi says.

Princess Sunrise's gaze suddenly grows a bit more serious than before.

"No DemiTwi. I am concerned for your well-being due to you not having any other pony there to socialize with besides DemiSpike. ...concerned due to you not having any friends." Princess Sunrise's expression saddens a bit.

"Whatttt? Come on! That's ridiculous! Friends?? Who needs that? It will be a distraction from what matters most." DemiTwi says.

"Being around other ponies isn't a bad thing, DemiTwi. Sometimes, it's how you learn the most about yourself." Princess Sunrise says. "In fact, I have made up my mind."

"And... what will that be?" DemiTwi asks.

An hour later.

DemiSpike reads a book on dragons in an attempt to gather information about the different types of dragons there are. He suddenly hears a door being flung open. He flinches a bit before regaining his composure. He then has a happy expression and runs to the front door. DemiTwi is here!

"DemiTwiii!" DemiSpike says running up to DemiTwi.

"urghhhh! WHAT!?" DemiTwi yells before shooting a small beam at DemiSpike.

"AHH!" DemiSpike's claw gets hit.

DemiSpike holds his claw in pain. DemiTwi immediately gasps and has a face of guilt.

"I'm... sorry... I'm just pissed right now..." DemiTwi says.

"It's okay. What happened? You took forever!" DemiSpike says.

Before DemiSpike could get an answer DemiTwi trots up to her room still a bit pissed but calmed. DemiSpike scratches his furry head confused before running into the kitchen grabbing a bottle of "Chill-aid! Cherry Flavor" and following DemiTwi upstairs.

DemiTwi had started packing her stuff into a suitcase while packing for DemiSpike as well. DemiSpike ran up beside her and handed her the bottle.

"Here. I know these are your favorite and I wanted to cheer you up!" DemiSpike says.

DemiTwi smiles before grabbing the bottle with magic. DemiSpike takes a look at the suitcases and looks back at DemiTwi.

"What are you doing?" DemiSpike asks.

DemiTwi looks at him after taking a sip and says, "Packing. Princess Sunrise wants us to move for... something."

"Oh, uh... to where exactly?"

"Ponyville."
