Rarity meets a shy, unassuming unicorn stallion named Metal Tested selling hoofmade jewelry on a street corner in Ponyville. Impressed with the quality of his work, she takes him under her wing. But when darkness in his past is dragged into the light, she and her friends find everything they've learned about friendship, forgiveness and redemption put to the test.

Takes place post-Season 8 and incorporates most of the slice-of-life episodes from Season 9, but ignores the "End" storyline and everything connected to it. Sex tag is for discussion and allusion thereof; no actual clop appears in this story
