Ode To Twilight: Entropy

She had known friends, once long ago.
When she was young, her world still new
Harmony’s seeds, then still to sow.

She shook her head, stars glittering
In her main, that twinkle in night
A tear glistens across her cheek.

Although she remembers not(naught)
She, She has not forgotten
Forever in ages lost

She gave it all for them
She grasped for them, She grasped
Faces, memory, gone

But then also she cried
For she knew what was lost
To her still they mattered

And she gave it all for them
So, so they might live
Cry, cry, cry, you twilit dawn

She had been a regal thing
A light against the growing dark
And now, she, she was gone.
