Lockdown

There you go.
Sorry I couldn't post this on Halloween, otherwise it would've been epic.
Lockdown
Many hours had passed since the unfortunate outbreak that happened from within the JFK airport, and now night has fallen. The entire area’s roads were placed by road blockade after road blockade, as many law enforcement and the national guard kept running back and forth, making sure the entire area was secured, whilst at the same time, the army, the marines, and the EPF secured the area. At the same time, they were being directed by the mercenaries, who were sent by Bartholomew Martin, to make sure the entire area was locked down.
However, as there are many vehicles of the military, so too were tents and hospitals and the state of health were operating on the inside.
However, the news crew were already on the scene, as the leading news reporter were speaking live.
“Local police and the national guard have secured the entire airport in a lockdown and access to the area has been blocked.” Said the newswoman. “Authorities are not releasing any details and we have very little information at this time. However, according to the unsubstantiated reports, a bio terror event had occurred within the big apple itself, close to the united nations, at this very airport. CEO of Pharma Corps, Bartholomew Martin, is currently within this very building, and we are still searching for him and anyone else who may have survived.”
However, between New York and Canterlot City, everyone was worried, for their friends were inside the building when the outbreak happened.
****************************************************************************************************
Meanwhile, from within the area where the quarantine is taking place, within many of the tents, many of the doctors are going to and fro to every patient. All of them are monitoring whilst all of them were in pain, going back and forth.
Those who were treated with minor injuries were taken care of, those who were bitten were immediately given the anti-virus, whilst also giving them the vaccines, thanks to the mercenaries and the secretary’s help.
Many people from within glass container cells were panicking and wanted to go home. The secretary was present and spoke to them.
“Rest assured everyone; we wish to make sure none of you are infected.” Said the secretary, “Once we determine no bite marks or any form of contamination, “We will send you to the tents to be checked on. Once you’re finished, we will be taking you to the recovery tends so that we can make sure none of you are infected.”
From right outside, as the civilians were being escorted to the recovery tents, four members of SWAT, or otherwise known as the SRT, Special Response Team, were watching them being escorted. Though some of them are relieved that there weren’t any serious cases, they were still on alert.
“Excuse me.”
The four of them turned to Commander Walker and his EPF soldiers walking in.
“Who is your commanding officer?”
“I’m Lieutenant Sharpe of the SRT.” Said the Lieutenant, “If you wish to speak to the Commander, we’ll take you there.”
They led him inside a much larger tent, where a woman was ranting to the officer.
“No, you listen to me, I don’t care what you say!!” said the woman, “We’re going to find a way to save those people whether you like it or not!! I don’t care if you’re going to fire me, I’m doing my job, whether you like it or not!!”
She slammed her radio phone onto the table, with the Commander looking at him with a flexed eyebrow.
“Is she always like this?” asked Walker.
“We could tell you stories, man.” Said Lieutenant. “Oh, Commander. If you’re done with your ranting, you’ve got a guest. A member of the EDF.”
The woman turned around and looked at Commander Walker and his troops.

“Gotta admit, never thought I’d meet the EDF trying to stop a bio-terror attack.” Said the woman before approaching him to shake his hand, “Name’s Angela Miller. I’m the Commander of this unit.”
“Good to meet you.” Said Walker. Then out of curiosity, he asked, “Weren’t you part of the ERS back at Harvardville?”
“I was.” Said Angela, “But I requested a transfer to New York. Figured I’d do better here, and why I pushed for Commander.”
“And I assume it’s a nightmare?” asked Walker with a smirk.
“You have no idea.” Groaned Angela Miller. She turned to her Lieutenant and asked, “What’s the status out there?”
“The entire airport’s been locked down and blockaded.” Said Lieutenant Sharpe, “We nearly were attacked by people who didn’t show any infections signs. Don’t worry though, they kept them sedated and given the anti-virus for just in case.”
He sat down as the rest of his unit also sat down.
“Still, can’t believe this is happening right on our doorstep.” Said Sharpe, “And I figured we’d be clear of that mess ever since what happened to New York last time.”
“You think this is related to the death threats that Bartholomew Martin’s been getting?” asked another SRT soldier.
“It could be possible.” Said Angela Miller, “Though then again all this just to kill off one man. Whatever the reason, if they’re after him, then he must’ve found something big.”
“That would explain why every medical and law enforcement hauled over as fast as they could.” Said Sharpe.
“I just hope my friends are alright.” Said Walker.
“You’re friends?” asked Angela Miller.
“All of them are kids, but they’re good ones.” Said Walker, “Saved my life a few times when New York was threatened.”
“If they’re alive we’ll find them.” Said Angela Miller, “But not without help.’
“Who are they sending?” asked Sharpe.
“The White House said they’re sending two special agents along with the BSAA to help with the assist.” Said Miller. “We’ll know more once they get here.”
“Ask all you like, but you’re gonna get a dim answer.”
Everyone turned to the entrance of the tent. One was a woman, but another was a man that Angela Miller knew all too well.

“Who are you?” asked Commander Walker.
“Leon S Kennedy.” Said Angela Miller before walking over to him and crossing her arms. “Been a long time since I saw you.”
“The feeling’s mutual.” Said Leon, “Never figured you’d be in New York.”
“Needed a change of pace.” Said Angela Miller before turning to the woman. “Who’s this?”
“This is Helena Harper,” said Leon, “The White House recently promoted her to my unit, so they assigned us to work together on this.”
“Hey, I heard about you.” Said Sharpe, “Weren’t you involved stopping a terrorist threat in China?”
“Surprised everyone knows that.” Said Helena.
“Wasn’t someone supposed to be with you?” said Walker.
“You talking about me?”
Everyone turned and saw two BSAA agents standing there.

“Chris and Jill, good timing.” Said Leon before shaking their hands, “We were hoping the BSAA would arrive.”
“When command told us to protect someone of high importance, we rushed on over.” Said Chris Redfield. “So, what are we looking at?”
“Over here.” Said Angela Miller as she went over to her laptop and pulled an audio call log. “This was from the last 911 call was made.”
She played the recording so that everyone could hear.
“How many are alive?” said the officer.
“Fifty others, including me, I’m also with Pharma Corps’ CEO, Bartholomew Martin.” Said the woman, who was Claire. “We’ve also got missing teenagers who are out there fighting those monsters.”
“Wait, fighting?” said the officer.
“That’s right,” said Claire, “We’re secured at the VIP lounge whilst they’re out there. Listen, I don’t know how long we can hold up here. Send help now before those things get at us. Please hurry.”
After the call ended, Chris and Leon stood together.
“So once again, your sister’s caught in the mix.” Said Leon.
“Trouble follows us no matter where we go.” Said Leon.
“I’m more concerned about the teenagers she mentioned,” said Helena, “Are they really crazy enough to fight them?”
“If so, they’re in way over their heads.” Said Jill.
“What’s the plan?” asked Leon before he and the other four turn to Angela.
********************************************************************************************
Angela shows them the map to the ones who will be going in there.
“From what we gathered, the survivors were able to put up defenses at the VIP lounge, where everyone could be safe. And thankfully, with Bartholomew Martin’s mercenary guards, they were able to protect the room and making sure everyone is okay.”
She continued to point at the different entrances around the map.
“Right now, every New York law enforcement, along with the State Board of Health and the EPF have sealed the main entrances here, along with the other entrances here, here, and here.”
“Meaning we can’t enter there without risk getting attacked by the infected or gunned down by the military.” Said one of the BSAA soldiers.
“Right,” said Angela Miller, “As far as we know, there are no other routes into the terminal building.”
“Then we’re going to have to take the rooftops.” Said Chris whilst pointing at the map. “There’s a maintenance entrance that allows anyone to move through different floors of the building.”
“And it’s also close to where everyone else is hiding in the VIP areas.” Said Jill Valentine.
“But what about the teenagers they mentioned?” said Helena, “We can’t just leave them unaccounted for.”
“We’ll head straight for the VIP section first.” Said Leon, “Once we get there, the BSAA and the ERS will help Bartholomew’s mercenaries and escort them out. The only way to do that is through the main lobby.”
“And once we do, we’ll try to find the teenagers as well.” Said Chris Redfield.
“I’ll go with you.” Said Commander Walker, “I know these kids. They’re friends of mine. And they know how to fight.”
“That right?” asked Jill.
“I fought alongside them ma’am, they’re a good bunch.” Said Walker.
“Alright then, you’re in.” said Leon. “We’ll have to divide the teams.”
“The BSAA, SRT, and a handful of the EPF will secure the survivors, and Bartholomew’s mercenaries will be able to cover us.” Said Walker.
“Right,” said Angela Miller, “Sharpe will be leading the SRT to the VIP’s.”
“In the meantime,” said Chris, “Jill and I, along with Leon, Harper, and Angela will be going with Walker to find the rest of the survivors.”
“We can do that.” Said Walker. “But I’m bring four of my best guys, just in case.”
“That’ll work.” Said Angela Miller, “Now gear up, we’re heading out in five minutes.”
They marched off towards the armory to get what they needed.
********************************************************************************************
A handful of choppers flew over to the top of the airport, transporting the SRT, the BSAA, the EPF, along with the experts on the infected.
In the head chopper, Walker flew shotgun with Chriss, Jill, Leon, Helena, and Angela.
“I should warn you, some of the infected are a little different!” said Walker.
“Different how?!” said Jill.
He showed them footage of one of the infected that were glowing and bit some of the people, turning them into G and C-Virus monsters, which shocked Leon and Chris.
“That’s a new one.” Said Harper.
“You think this is related to rumors of a new virus?” asked Jill.
“Only one way to find out.” Said Chris as he readied his rifle. “We’ll try to get what samples we can for us to study.”
The helicopters soon hovered over the intended landing site above the building, allowing them to descend via rope. One by one, the BSAA, EPA, and the SRT made a circle formation.
Chris, Leon, Jill, Helena, Angela, and Walker landed last. Once they did, the choppers took off and flew back.
Everyone immediately made their way towards the rooftop access. Everyone stood in cover, readying their positions. Leon and Helena were the first people to enter, with Chris, Jill, Angela, and Walker following. They looked down the stairway, making sure that the coast was clear.
“So far, so good.” Said Chris.
“Can’t be too careful.” Said Jill.
“Agreed.” Said Leon before signaling the rest.
The BSAA, the EPA, and the SRT moved down the stairs in rows, making their way towards the bottom of the stairs. Once they reached one of the floors, the leaders were up front first. Chris kicked the door down, allowing them to go first. Once they do, they made their way down the hallway. As they past some of the doors, some of the soldiers looked inside, wanting to make sure that it’s all clear.
They soon arrived at the door leading to one of the larger terminal areas. They stood in front of it, waiting for something to happen. Chris and Jill were once again at the front. He signaled them from the count of five. Once he got to zero, he instantly opened the door. But to his and Jill’s surprise, all they found were at least a hundred dead zombies on the other side.
Chris looked back and whispered, “Secure the room, move out.”
Everyone went through the door, allowing them to form the same circle formation, with the leaders coming out last and looked around.
“What the heck?” muttered Helena as she lowered her weapon and looked around.
One of the BSAA flipped one of the zombies over and could see a cut around it. Chris and Leon looked at it and could see it too.
“Looks like Claire’s call was accurate.” Said Leon.
“Still, a bunch of teenagers did this?” asked Chris, “I find that hard to believe.”
“Oh, it’s all true.” Said Walker as he approached the two.
“You speak from experience?” asked Leon.
“I do, I fought alongside them when New York had a few problems of their own.” Said Walker, “I owe them a lot.”
“Still, they’re in way over their heads if they think they can fight them on.” Said Jill.
“Uh, yeah, the dead zombies, says otherwise.” Said one of the EPA soldiers.
“He’s got a point.” Said the BSAA soldier whilst the others inspected the dead to make sure that they stay down.
“But where are they now?” asked Harper.
“We’ll find more answers once we get to Bartholomew and Claire.” Said Angela Miller.
“Agreed, let’s move.” Said Chris as he and the others moved ahead, with their units following suit.
********************************************************************************************
Meanwhile, from within the VIP room, the twenty-five mercenaries are currently securing the room and making sure that no zombies break on through. Whilst fifty other survivors were inside. Among them were some of the airport staff, as well as Bartholomew Martin, and Claire Redfield.
“Looks like the entire airport is sealed off.” Said one of the Mercenaries looking outside.
“Here’s hoping they sent a rescue team inside.” Said the second.
“And yet you lot aren’t out there with them?” asked Claire.
“Hey, Mr. Martin said our top priority is keeping the people safe, and that’s what we did.” Said the Captain. “Besides, I don’t see you doing anything about it.”
“That’s enough, Captain.” Said Bartholomew Martin. “Sorry, we’re all on edge.”
“I can tell.” Said Claire before they heard knocking.
The mercenaries stood ready, whilst the people panicked. Claire moved towards the door and took the mercenary’s pistol. She stood there for a few moments, then abruptly opened the door, aiming her pistol, which turned out to be Mikey, making the turtles cream in fright as he hid his head.
“It’s cool, it’s cool, it’s me!!” said Mikey.
Claire was surprised to see the Turtle, same with Bartholomew as he stood up and went over to the door.
“What are you doing here, young man?” asked Bartholomew.
“Well, I figured that seeing that all of you have been in here for a while, might as well bring this.” Said Mikey as he brought over two trolleys, that were filled with food and a gas tank and a can to boil water.
The two of them were surprised at first, but Bartholomew signaled the mercenaries to bring the food and coffee inside so that all of them could distribute them to the people.
“You’d better get inside.” Said Bartholomew.
“No way, dude, my friends are out there.” Said Mikey, “And we made a promise that we’d look after each other and help anyone we can no matter what.”
“But it’s too dangerous.” Said Claire.
“Hey, we’re ninjas, it’s what we do.” Said Mikey, “Now if you’ll excuse me, I got some zombie fighting to do.”
Mikey ran down the hallway to rejoin his friends whilst the others watched. Bartholomew was greatly worried, not liking the idea of seeing children going off like that, whilst Claire brought him back to a chair as the mercenaries shut the door.
********************************************************************************************
Mikey was at another section of the airport, looking around, trying to find his brothers.
“Guys.” Whispered Mikey, “Guys, can you hear me? Shout if you…”
Suddenly Mikey was dragged into a room screaming, causing his mouth to be clamped shut, revealing to be Raph, whilst Leo shushed him. Mikey looked and saw that he was in a conference room, with the Rainbooms exhausted, as well as the Shadowbolts, their New York friends, along with the Turtles. After letting him go, Mikey gave a sigh of relief.
“Oh dudes, don’t do that.” Said Mikey, taking a breather. “I thought you were one of those zombies.”
“Nevermind that,” said Donnie, “Where the shell have you been?!”
“I was at the VIP section.” Said Mikey.
“Mikey!!” said Raph.
“Well, I didn’t want them to starve inside!!” said Mikey, “Besides, we can be thankful that there are survivors and that we were able to help stop those zombies!!”
“Fat lot of good, that did.” Said Rainbow.
“Ah can’t believe how many of them varmints took over the airport.” Said Applejack.
“How the heck did they get even infected anyway?” said Lemon Zest, “When we saw that first zombie, we didn’t even see any bitemarks.”
“I’ve been wondering that myself.” Pondered Leo, “And not to mention that one glowing zombie that turned them into a mutated zombie.”
“Yeah, the glow looked like the Mutagen.” Said Donnie before opening a bag, revealing blood samples from those they were able to defeat, “But I’ll need to get back to my lab and find out more what I can. Especially trying to get that glowing zombie just to make sure.”
“And hopefully find a cure for this madness.” Said Fugitoid.
However, Sunset was quiet the entire time with her head lowered.
“Uh, Sunset?”
Said girl lifted her head and looked at Spike, who was on the table and concerned.
“You okay, you haven’t said anything ever since with that Claire woman.”
“You were obviously spooked the moment you held her shoulder and read her mind by mistake, which must be very important.” Said Sugarcoat.
Everyone looked at Sunset, as they were now also concerned.
Sunset sighed and sat back up with both her hands on the table.
“I accidentally read Claire’s mind.” Said Sunset.
“What did you see?” asked Twilight.
“Claire went through this before back in Harvardville.” Said Sunset.
“She was?” asked Sunny Flare.
“Not only that.” Said Sunset as she tried to find her words. And eventually said, “She’s also a survivor from Raccoon city.”
This shocked everyone, especially April and Applejack.
“Wait, she was there?!” asked April.
“She was.” Said Sunset.
Curious, Applejack asked, “What else did yer power see?”
She then told them of how she went to Racoon city, looking for her brother, who was a member of the Special Tactics and Rescue Service, otherwise known as STARS, formed under the jurisdiction of the Raccoon City police department. But when she arrived at a convenient store for supplies, she was ambushed by them, but she was saved by a rookie cop, Leon S Kennedy.
The two of them traveled to Raccoon city, only to find it being completely overrun by zombies. During their time there, they discovered a little girl named Sherry Berkin, who was the daughter of Willaim Berkin, and Annette Berkin, both of the scientists of Umbrella Corporation. When Claire found Sherry, she saw her father, William Berkin, who was turned into a monster by the G-Virus.
Seeing that Sherry was infected, she helped Annette to cure her. On her dying breath, Annette made Claire promise to look after Sherry. After she, Leon, and Sherry escape, all of Raccoon city was destroyed. They soon went their separate ways. Whilst Sherry was placed in protective custody, they used her blood to create vaccines for the T-Virus. Chris was taken by the US Government and work for the President because of his experience, whilst Claire left to look for her brother.
After that, she went to Harvardville to join her fellow Terra-Save co-workers, only for an outbreak to happen at the airport and how they tried to stop Curtis Miller.
And the latest memory she read, was when she and Chris, along with Leon Kennedy, Jill Valentine, and Rebecca Chambers, were on Alcatraz Island to stop another attack before the outbreak got out of hand.
This in turn left everyone surprised.
“She still fought the outbreaks?” asked Mikey.
“How the heck didn’t we know any of this, yo.” Said Casey.
“Casey’s got a point,” said Keno, “If outbreaks like that were to happen, you’d think someone would notice this.”
“Maybe because they’re more secretive than us?” asked Indigo. “I mean after all the times we fought against tons of stuff; you’d think the world media would find out and kept hogging and hounding us to no end.”
“You know, she does have a point.” Said Donnie.
“Guess we’ll never know.” Said Sour Sweet.
Leo stood up and stretched.
“Alright, break time’s over.” Said Leo, “Just another sweep of the building and we’ll be able to clear the entire area for the people to escape through.”
“Sounds like a plan.” Said Twilight.
“And most importantly, don’t get bitten.” Said Spike.
“That’s always the agenda.” Said Sunny Flare, allowing them to leave the room.
********************************************************************************************
At the VIP room, Bartholomew kept tapping his foot. Until he got so impatient, he stood up and moved towards the door. This gained the mercenaries’ attention, causing them to stop him.
“Sir, you can’t go out there.” Said one of them.
“Those kids are still out there.” Said Bartholomew, “I’m not staying here and let them risk their lives.”
“They seem to know what they’re doing.” Said the second mercenary.
“Still doesn’t make me feel better.” Said Bartholomew before Claire moved up.
“Sir, they do have a point, you can’t go out there, you’re too important.” Said Claire. “If it makes you feel any better, I’ll go out there and see what I can do to help.”
Bartholomew looked at her for a moment. He sighed in reluctance, but gave in.
“Alright then,” said Bartholomew, “But you’re not going out there, unarmed.”
The mercenaries gave her a spare pistol, an ammo belt with enough clip rounds, a combat knife, and an assault rifle. She accepted them and wore the belt, placing her pistol on her side hip and knife at the side of her boot, then accepted the assault rifle.
“You’re all set.” Said the mercenary.
“Alright then,” said Claire, “Wish me luck.”
The mercenaries opened the door, allowing her to go outside and looked around, before moving down the hallway. Once she was gone, they closed the door, but listened over, all the same.
Claire move down the hallway, looking left and right, making sure that nobody would ambush her. However, her thoughts went back to the kids. As well as the turtles. For what were they? It’s clear that they weren’t infected with any virus, but they clearly weren’t human either.
She was immediately brought out of her thoughts when an infected civilian tried to attack, allowing her to back away and gave it a roundhouse kick and take shot it down.
Two more attacked, until both of them were gunned down. Claire looked up and saw a face she never expected to see.
“Chris?” said Claire in surprise.
Chris turned around and sees his sister.
“Claire.” Said Chris as he went over and hugged his sister. They broke the hug as he said, “Looks like we’re back in this mess again.”
“Looks that way.” Said Claire, before seeing Leon, Angela, and Jill, along with two others and their entire backup. “Looks like we have another reunion.”
“Tell me about it.” Said Jill in amusement.
“Claire,” said Leon as he introduced the other two. “This is my partner, Helena Harper. She helped me a while ago during an outbreak in China. The other is Commander Walker, head of the EPF.”
“Why is the EPF here?” asked Claire.
“To rescue my friends.” Said Commander Walker.
“Friends?” said Claire in surprise, knowing whom he was talking about.
********************************************************************************************
Back in the VIP room, Leon, Chris, Helena, Angela, and Jill were talking to Bartholomew Martin and Claire whilst the rest of their squads were busy checking up on the survivors.
“Thank you for coming to our aid.” Said Bartholomew, “I’m not sure what would’ve happened had you not arrived.”
“We came here to do a job, and that’s making sure everyone makes it out alive.” Said Angela Miller.
“But what about the kids?” asked Bartholomew in concern.
“You mean the ones you mentioned were fighting?” asked Jill.
“Sir,” said one of the BSAA soldiers with a pad. “I hacked into security. From the looks of it, the kids you mentioned are in the secondary lobby.”
“Then that’s where we’re going.” Said Chris before looking at the Sergeant. “Sergeant, take half the BSAA, EPA, and the SRT with you. Have them work with the mercenaries so that all of them can escort Mr. Martin and the survivors back to safety.”
“Yes sir.” Said the Sergeant.
“The rest, follow us to the secondary lobby.” Said Chris, “We’re getting those civilians to safety.”
“I’m coming with you this time.” Said Claire.
“Wasn’t asking,” said Chris, “Let’s go!!”
As Chris, Claire, Jill, Leon, Helena, Angela, and Commander Walker led their group to where the Turtles, Rainbooms, and Shadowbolts, the other half, with the help of the Mercenary group, all led the civilians to safety as they took another path.
********************************************************************************************
They continued to move down the hallways, going left and right, making sure there weren’t any unexpected surprises.
They were close to one of the doors, until all of them heard loud grunting from the other side of the door. Chris signaled them to stay quiet. He slowly went to the door. Once he reached the handle, he opened it hard, and aimed for what was ahead.
The moment he did, he was left stunned, then lowered his weapon, “What the…?”
The rest arrived, minus the soldiers. And all of them were surprised by what they were seeing.
The Turtles, the Rainbooms, the Shadowbolts, the Dazzlings, and their New York allies, all fought against the Zombies that tried to attack them as they had them surrounded.
“You sure they need help?” asked Helena Harper.
They noticed Commander Walker smiling from watching them.
“Wait, you knew about this?” asked Jill Valentine.
“I did mention I fought alongside them from time to time.” Said Walker.
Leo was able to take down the last zombies. He then placed his hands on his knees whilst panting from exhaustion.
“Okay, that was a little harder than expected.” Said Leo.
“Ah agree,” said Applejack, “Though ah don’t know how long we can keep this up.”
“Yeah, I’m starting to get really hungry.” Said Sonata.
That’s when Pinkie looked to her left. “Hey look, five more zombies.”
They saw five more zombies walking forward, groaning, and moaning at the same time.
“Pff, let me handle this.” Said Rainbow before stretching, “I can take care of them in ten…”
“Uh, why are they glowing?” asked Indigo Zap.
They saw the five zombies having blue veins and glowing blue.
“Wait, that’s Mutagen, I recognize it anywhere.” Said Donnie.
“Mutagen?” muttered Chris Redfield when he overheard them.
Suddenly the zombies began to moan and bulge at the same time, slowly transforming them at the same time. Soon enough, all five of the were fourteen feet tall, all of them roaring and screeching at the same time.

This shocked the ninjas as all of them felt slightly intimidated.
“Holy chalupa.” Muttered Mikey when they saw them big.
From far behind, Leon, Chris, and the others were also shocked by what they were seeing.
“Intervene?” asked Jill.
“Definitely intervene!!” said Chris before looking back, “Let’s move!!”
Chris and Leon led the charge, with Claire, Jill, Helena, Angela, and Walker following, with the BSAA, EPA, and SRT, following suit.
“Get ready!!” said Leo, preparing for a fight.
Just as the mutated zombies were about to attack, they were suddenly shot and staggered a bit backwards. This gained the ninjas’ attention as they looked back, seeing Chris and the others moving and shooting at the same time.
“Move, move!!” shouted Chris as everyone shot them.
“Split them up, don’t let them corner you!!” said Leon.
The Turtles and Rainbooms got out of the way whilst Leon and the others tried to surround the large Nemesis monsters. As they did, they saw Commander Walker with them.
“Walker?!” said the Turtles and Rainbooms in surprise.
“Guys!!” said Walker as he and his group went to his friends, “Thank goodness you’re alright.”
“What are you doing here?!” said Karai.
“When we heard the entire airport was locked down and a bio terror attack had occurred, we rushed right on over!” Said Walker, “But we couldn’t get in, not with the Board of Health and National Guard shutting down the airport to make sure that nothing escapes!!”
“That makes sense!!” said Fugitoid, “If they got out, then the entire New York could face a massive epidemic!!”
“Again!!” said Pinkie Pie.
“Wait, again?!” said a confused Commander Walker, “Since when?!”
“Remember when we told y’all of us goin’ out of town?!” said Applejack.
“When we encountered the Mighty Ducks?!” said Rainbow Dash.
“Turns out there was another bio-attack here on New York!!” said Twilight.
“Wait, how come you didn’t know about it?!” said Keno.
“The EPF was out of town with the Utrom when we were busy trying to track down Kraang Subprime!!” said Commander Walker, “Turns out we lost his trace around Texas!!”
“Why would,” said Mikey before seeing something, “AH, DUCK!!”
They ducked as they were able to dodge a tentacle. They looked and saw most of them were struggling to take the mutated zombies down.
“We don’t have time for this, we need to take those things down!!” said Raph.
“He’s right, we’ll need to divide and conquer!!” said Leo.
“We need bombs to take em out from the inside, yo!!” said Casey.
“Good thing I know where to get some!!” said Mikey as he ran.
“Mikey!!” protested the others.
Mikey ran past and grabbed one of the BSAA’s grenade strap.
“Hey!!” exclaimed one of them.
They saw Mikey running back and forth, dodging one of their attacks. After jumping to and fro, Mikey was able to land on one of the mutated Zombies’ back. He activated the grenades and ran towards its head.
“Gobble, gobble, son!!” shouted Mikey before he jumped and threw the grenades within the monsters’ mouth.
Mikey crashed and rolled against a few bags. The mutated Zombie roared at Mikey, until the grenades went off, killing the monster from within, making it collapse at the same time.
This surprised the others, but Leo and his fellow ninjas got the right idea.
“No time to delay!!” said Leo, “Take those things down with all you have!!”
Everyone ran towards the mutated zombies, allowing them to attack from all sides.
“Are they crazy?!” said Helena Harper.
“Crazy or not, we gotta back them up!!” said Leon.
“Cover fire!!” shouted Chris Redfield.
The ninjas fought from all sides as the humans did their best to cover them in order for them to gain an advantage. However, during the fight, something came from out of the shadows.
This gained Mikey’s attention, but was also shocked to see what was going on.
“Oh, snap!!” shouted Mikey, “Zombie legion!!”
Everyone turned and could see a shadowy figure, clearly a human, standing there. But what was shocking to them, many zombies were slowly moving forward. But for some strange reason, they weren’t going for him. They all lines up, as if they were an army. This surprised Chris, Leon, and the others.
“Wait, he’s controlling them?!” said Jill Valentine.
The man from the shadows signaled them to attack, which they did all of them were staggering towards the heroes, whilst the figure behind the shadows walked away before disappearing.
After Raph took down one of them with his sais, he noticed and shouted, “Oh great, now we got these three freaks, and a bunch of zombies coming right at us!!”
“Everyone, focus on those three!!” said Chris before turning to Leon, Claire, Jill, Angela, and Helena. “Let’s deal with them!!”
“Lead the way!!” said Leon as Chris led the attack.
As they attacked, they were surprised to see how each of them fought.
Chris stood still and took down many of the infected that tried to take him down. Once he did, he moved forward as he mowed through them, taking them down one at a time. Sometimes a handful. Then he used the bayonet of his weapon to cut them down. He grabbed the undead infected and body slammed it hard onto the ground. One tried to attack, but Chris used his bayonet to cut it whilst moving backwards and taking more down.
Leon shot the first one down, then two more when he turned around. The second zombie tried to grab him, but Leon moved his body in a different position, allowing him to take down the next. Leon kept moving his body like water, taking down more zombies left and right. Especially since he twisted and elbowed an infected, before gunning the both of them down. Leon did a twist when one tried to grab his leg, but Leon soon took that down too.
Claire delivered an air kick, allowing one infected to be down, before she used her pistol to take down the first, then the second and the third when she turned around. She vaulted over an infected and kicked another away, but not before shooting the both of them down at the same time. She slid underneath one of them and tossed it in the air, before Jill came along and kicked it away.
Jill crouched as she took down a few, but one of them tried to grab her. She instead grabbed it and threw it over her shoulder. She shot it before she delivered a breakdance maneuver to kick down both infected, and taking them out with her pistol at the same time. One of them tried to tackle her over, but she kneed it in the chest, then in the head, allowing her to take it down, and a few others before they could do anything else.
“Whoa, these guys have some serious moves.” Said Lemon Zest.
“Think we could learn a thing or two from them?” asked Sonata, causing her sisters to give her a dry look, “What, I’m just saying.”
At the same time, both Helena and Angela stood back-to-back, taking down more of them. That was, until they heard a few roars, causing them to look.
To their shock, they were zombies known as lickers, and what appeared to be zombie dogs.

“Wait, what are they?!” said Angela.
“Lickers and Zombie dogs!!” said Helena, “Leon mentioned encountering them a few times!!”
“Oh great, what else could happen?!” groaned Angela.
But as if tempered fate, another roar was heard. Something barreled through the infected. And it was a large monster, that Helena knew all too well.

“You’ve gotta be kidding me.” Muttered Helena.
They quickly jumped out of the way, allowing some to remain in cover. Leo, Sunset, and Sour Sweet seeing this, immediately rushed on over.
“That thing again?!” said Helena.
“You know that thing?!” said Leo.
“If a friend of Sherri were here, he’d say that thing’s more like an ex-girlfriend, that thing doesn’t know when to quit!!” said Helena.
“Then we’ll just have to give it a reason!!” said Leo as he charged, along with Sunset and Sour Sweet..
Leo jumped up and clashed his blades against the monster, but the monster deflected it, allowing Sour Sweet to wrap her chains around the monster’s right arm, allowing Sunset to jump up and jabbed her knives into the monster’s back, making it screech. This allowed Helena and Angela to shoot at it together.
Leo then used his medallion to charge up his wind powers, but also at the same time, combined it with his sword. Leo charged towards the monster.
“Sunset, move!!” shouted Leo.
Sunset jumped out of the way, allowing Leo to slice the monster in half, allowing it to fall onto the ground.
Leo placed his one sword away whilst Sunset and Sour Sweet looked at him surprised.
“Since when could you do that?” asked Sour Sweet.
“I did some extra training with my medallion and combined it with my blades.” Said Leo, “I did that when me and my brothers were helping the Rainbooms contain the magic situation in Canterlot City.”
“And also found out that our city has a gang called the Purple Nightmares, a mirror version of the Purple Dragons.” Said Sunset.
Helena and Angela walked up to the three.
“Nice moves.” Said Helena, “Got any more of those where that came from?”
“Need you ask?” asked Leo rhetorically.
Back at the group, Mikey ran as he was being chased by zombie dogs.
“Bad zombie dogs!! Bad zombie dogs!!” shouted Mikey as they gave chase.
That’s when the two BSAA soldiers stood in position.
“Duck and cover!!” shouted one of them.
Mikey jumped and ducked, allowing the BSAA soldiers to take them down. That was, until Mikey widened his eyes and used his chain to grab them and pull them away, whilst two Lickers missed them at the same time. Mikey threw two throwing stars, taking them both down at the same time.
This surprised the two when Mikey helped them up.
“Uh, thanks.” Said one of them.
“Hey, you saved my shell, least I could do.”
Back with the main group, they were able to take down two more mutated zombies, with only one remaining.
“Man, that thing’s tough!!” said April.
“But we’re tougher!!” declared Casey as he dropped his pucks, “Goongala!!”
Casey whacked his pucks, allowing them to explode upon impact.
“Raph, we gotta take that thing down!!” said Donnie.
“You read my mind!!” said Raph.
The two of them used their medallions and summoned their fire and lightning powers, allowing them to burn the last one to the ground.
“Okay, are we all clear now?” asked Raph.
Suddenly a pair of tongues were wrapped around Raph and Donnie, surprising them as they were lickers.
“Definitely not clear!!” shouted Donnie before being pulled up.
Seeing them being pulled up, Fluttershy saw this and panicked. She then remembered the exploding darts Donnie made for her.
“I hope this works!!” said Fluttershy before grabbing them and shot them down using her Fukedake blowgun.
After taking care of the lickers, Raph and Donnie landed back down.
“Thanks, Fluttershy!!” said Raph.
“No problem.” Said Fluttershy.
Rainbow continued to zip around, taking down more zombies, Applejack used her strength to toss random objects at them. Rarity used her diamond shields and gave the soldiers cover as they moved closer to the zombies.
The Shadowbolts were able to clear up more zombie dogs and lickers, with Fugitoid taking down more of them.
Once the last of the zombies fell, everyone looked around to see if there were any more. But thankfully no.
“All clear!!” Said one of the BSAA soldiers.
“Same here!!” said one of the SRT soldiers.
As the Turtles and Rainbooms regrouped, some of the men aimed their weapons, but Claire stopped them.
“Easy guys, they’re on our side.” Said Claire before moving over to the group.
“Is everyone okay?” asked Leo.
“We’re good.” Said Karai.
“Dang, that was crazy!!” said Indigo Zap.
“It would’ve been crazier and more horrible if we turned into zombies.” Said Sugarcoat.
Claire moved over to the group and asked, “Are you guys okay?”
“Barely, but we’ll live.” Said Sunset.
“What about everyone else?” asked Twilight.
“They’re safe.” Said Claire.
Sunset then saw Leon S Kennedy, as well as Chris Redfield, the one that she saw from Claire’s memories.
“You kids put up a crazy fight out there.” Said Leon, “Not a lot of folks could fight like that.”
“That’s because they haven’t met us.” Boasted Rainbow.
“This isn’t a time to be cocky.” Said Chris seriously, “You all could’ve been killed or turned into one of them. You should’ve remained safe.”
“And let everyone else in New York get turned into zombies?” said Keno, “Not a chance.”
“And give us some credit.” Said Sunset, “At least we fared better than Chris and Claire did back at Raccoon city.”
This caused their attention as the latter looked at one another.
“How did you know about that?” asked Leon.
Sunset grunted, realized that she just spilled the beans. Realizing she didn’t have any other choice. “Er, well…”
Suddenly she felt something red drop on her shoulder, gaining her attention. She slowly looked up and to her shock, there was another Licker, the last one. It screeched, gaining their attention.
“Scatter!!” said Leo, which they did.
The Licker landed and spotted Sunset, before screeching at her.
The Licker pounced on Sunset, causing her to yelp and dodged the creature before landing on the other side. It screeched as it tried to attack her, even tried to use its tongue, to which she dodged again. Seeing the tongue, she had an idea. But groaned, realizing what she had to do.
“Oh, this is going to be so gross.” Muttered Sunset as she pulled out one of her kunai.
The licker then tried to use its tongue to entangle Sunset, only for her to grab it. She then spun around to pull it closer and sliced the tongue off. However, the moment it pounced, Sunset jabbed her kunai in the chest, causing the Licker to grunt. Sunset pulled out her Kunai, causing the Licker to collapse and die.
Everyone from both sides were surprised by what she did. Sunset shuddered a bit whilst making sure her Kunai wasn’t all that drenched. Jill went over to Sunset and looked at the Licker.
“Nice moves.” Said Jill.
“Saw that in a movie.” Said Sunset, “Came really handy.”
“And skilled with a blade, no less.” Said Jill.
Sunset noticed she was a mess, which caused her to shudder a bit.
“I’m gonna need a very long and hot shower after this.” Muttered Sunset.
“We’ll be sure to get you cleaned up when we get out of here.” Said Leon.
“But after this, we need answers.” Said Chris, “Like who all of you are and how you can fight like that?”
“It’s a lot to explain,” said Leo, “But I can assure you, my brothers and I mean you no harm.”
“After all of you saved Bartholomew and the other fifty civilians, I can believe that.” Said Claire.
They then saw Donnie moving over to the mutated zombies and took out a syringe, whilst extracting blood at the same time.
“What are you doing?” asked Chris.
Donnie stood up and walked over to them.
“Just extracting blood.” Said Donnie before placing it in his bag, with others inside.
“What are you planning to do with it?” asked Jill with suspicion.
“After seeing what happened, especially the glowing ones,” said Donnie, “I was thinking of taking it back to the lab, see what caused all this, and maybe try making an antidote.”
“That’s not a bad idea.” Said Commander Walker, “We have no idea what’s causing all this.”
“Especially the glowing ones.” Said Helena, remembering what they saw.
“We’ll take it to our team an analyze what we can.” Said Leon, “If they have any answers, we’ll take it.”
Chris then listened over to his comms, then said, “Alright, that was the rest of our teams. Bartholomew Martin and the survivors have been evacuated, we’ll head out of the same exit they went through, and it’s mostly clear so far.”
“If it means we don’t have to face more of them, I agree.” Said Twilight.
“Follow us, and stay close.” Said Leon, allowing them to follow them.
Leo whispered to Sunset, “Are they the ones you’re talking about?”
“They are.” Whispered Sunset, “But if we need answers, then we’ll need some answers too.”
“Agreed.” Said Leo, “Until then, let’s keep a low profile.”
Everyone followed Leon and the others out. For if Sunset’s right, and she normally is, then they all will need answers.
