Chapter 14: Babies and the Holidays

The Basketball team were walking into the locker room, excited after winning a game. Some of the team members were giving Aaron a small push for getting the final basket.

"That's how we win it!" Coach Little said. "Give a hand to Aaron Blazer for giving us the game winning shots!"

"Yeah, way to go, Aaron!" Paul said. "You did great!"

"Everyone was impressed by that last shot!" Kyle said. "A perfect half court shot right before the buzzer!"

"Honestly, that was just luck," Aaron said. He then sighed. "I wish my Aunt Marissa and Uncle Liam came. Where were they? I didn't see them in the bleachers."

"Perhaps they were just busy," Coach Little said. Just then, the exterior doors to the Boys Locker Room opened up and Smolder ran in, covering her eyes. She was in dragon form and wearing her cheerleader outfit. "Whoa. You're not supposed to be in here, Smolder."

"Sorry, Coach Little, but this is something that Aaron needs to hear," Smolder said, her eyes still covered. "Aaron. It's Marissa. Apparently, her water broke early this morning."

"What?!" Aaron asked. "The twins!"

"Alright, go get your stuff," Coach Little said. "I'll take you to the hospital myself."

"Thanks, Coach Little," Aaron said. Then Aaron went over to his locker to quickly change into his normal clothes as Coach Little pushed Smolder out of the locker room. Aaron quickly changed into his normal clothes and he followed Smolder and Coach Little out of the locker room.

After grabbing their stuff from their lockers, including their guitar since it was a B-Day, Aaron, Smolder and Coach Little got into Coach Little's car, which was a 2023 Green Ford Mustang Convertible. They got in, Coach Little started up the car, and they drove off.

Aaron and Smolder were running into the main room, both in human form, and carrying their school stuff. Aaron and Smolder went up to the check in desk.

"Whoa, slow your roll," the woman at the check in desk said. "Who are you here to see?"

"My aunt," Aaron said. "Marissa Blazer." He then remembered something and groaned. "Sorry. That was her maiden name. Marissa Daniels."

"Marissa... Daniels," the woman said, typing on the computer. "Oh. Maternity ward. Alright." She then brought out a couple of badges and handed them to Aaron and Smolder. "Go ahead and head for the elevator over there." She pointed towards the hallway. "They'll let you both in." Aaron and Smolder nodded and they headed for the elevators.

They went up to the Maternity Ward and they saw Liam standing outside the room, waiting for Aaron and Smolder to come. He then saw them coming.

"Oh, there you two are," Liam said. "Glad you two could..." He then caught a whiff of them. "Whew. Guess you two got a workout today."

"Sorry," Aaron said. "Smolder told me about the text, and we rushed here as quickly as we could after the game."

"Well, at least you're here," Liam said. "Come on and meet your new cousins." They all walked into the room where Marissa was. She was holding her two babies in two different colored blankets. One was wrapped in a light blue blanket, and the other was in a pink blanket. They both had brown hair, although the girl's hair was a little lighter, and they both had blue eyes.

"Hi, you two," Marissa said, softly. "Come on over here." Aaron and Smolder walked over to the gurney.

"So, which one came out first?" Smolder asked, quietly.

"Our son," Marissa answered softly. "Meet our son, Tony, and our daughter, Jessica."

"We waited a while for these little bundles of joy to come out," Liam said. "Sorry we couldn't make it to the game today."

"We really wanted to, but apparently, the babies thought otherwise," Marissa said. "I'm just happy to be holding these little darlings in my arms instead of in my womb."

"Well, you might as well get your rest," Liam said, walking over towards Marissa and kissing her on the lips. "I'll be back tomorrow to pick you three up." Marissa nodded.

"Be good, you two," Marissa said, looking towards Aaron and Smolder.

"No problem, Marissa," Smolder said. Then she, Aaron and Liam left the room to head home.

It was already Winter Break for the students of Summer Valley High School. Aaron, Marissa and Liam were loading their luggage and the Christmas Presents for the family into the car while Smolder was holding Tony and Jessica while she was in her dragon form and wearing her winter gear. For some reason, Tony and Jessica were not afraid of Aaron and Smolder in their dragon forms.

"Thank you for holding our babies while we pack the car, Smolder," Marissa said.

"No problem, Marissa," Smolder said. She then looked down at the babies. "Which is quite weird. I'm in my true form, and they seem to not be afraid of me."

"Guess your magic is giving you a calming aura around Tony and Jessica," Liam said, finished up loading the car. "It is a good thing you got the Expedition Max, Marissa. There's still room for Aaron and Smolder to get in the back."

"We're sitting in the rear seating?" Smolder asked.

"Don't worry, kids," Marissa said. "There's still enough room for you two to get in and out of there around the babies. Now, go ahead and get into the car." She and Liam walked towards Smolder and both of them took the babies out of her arms. Then Smolder went to the car and she got into the back with Aaron. After they got in, Marissa and Liam loaded Tony and Jessica into the car seats that were loaded in the middle seats.

"Alright, kids," Liam said. "You both used the bathroom, right."

"Yes," Aaron and Smolder said in unison.

"Okay," Liam said. Then he closed the back door and then he got into the driver's seat as Marissa got into the passenger seat. "Off to DC for Christmas." He then started up the car, and then he put the car into Drive, and then they started driving the car to Washington, DC.

It was 11:00 PM in Washington DC. Marissa had booked for them to stay at a hotel that had connecting rooms. Marissa, Liam, Tony and Jessica were staying in one room while Aaron and Smolder were staying in the other room. Aaron and Smolder were both humans at the moment.

"Alright, you two," Marissa said. "Get to bed. We had a long day."

"Yes, Aunt Marissa," Aaron said before closing the door. He then yawned. We should get to..." Smolder transformed into her dragon form and wrapped her arms around Aaron's body.

"Let's get comfortable," Smolder said. "Dragon style."

"Then... we should prepare outfits for tomorrow," Aaron said.

"Good point," Smolder said. Then she went over to her suitcase and pulled out some clothes for her human self to wear the next day. Aaron did the same with his suitcase. Smolder grabbed her pajamas and went into the bathroom to change. Aaron started undressing and he got into his pajamas. Smolder then got out of the bathroom, in dragon form, wearing a nightgown. She then shivered. "You know what? Maybe this nightgown is too spring and summer." She then transformed into her human form, where she had a pink, long-sleeve night top and purple pajama bottoms that reached to her ankles, and pink fuzzy socks.

"I'll turn on the heater," Aaron said, heading for the heater. He then set the heater to keep them warm for the night. Aaron and Smolder then got into the bed together.

"So much for dragon style," Smolder said.

"Good night, Smolder," Aaron said.

"Good night," Smolder replied. They fell asleep for the night.

The next morning, Aaron, Smolder, Marissa, Liam, Tony and Jessica were driving to the White House because the President asked them to come. Marissa was driving, and Aaron and Smolder were both in human form.

"So, why did the President want us to come to the White House?" Smolder asked.

"Maybe because he's retiring from the office," Marissa said. "Who knows? Maybe we'll get to meet the upcoming President, who was the president before him."

"Right," Aaron said. "Donald Trump is returning to office. Even though he wasn't the first actor to become president."

"Really?" Smolder asked. "Which actor became president before him?"

"Ronald Reagan," Liam said. "Haven't you seen Back to the Future?"

"Oh, that's right," Smolder said.

Marissa pulled a badge out of the glove compartment and showed it to the guard at the gate as they pulled up. The guard nodded to the gate control man and opened the gate. Then Marissa drove the car through.

Aaron, Smolder, Marissa, Liam, Tony and Jessica were being escorted to the Oval Office where, soon to be retired, President Biden was sitting at the desk.

"Glad you all could come," Joe Biden said.

"Good to see you again, Mr. President," Aaron said as he and Smolder changed into their dragon forms. Smolder had already changed back into her normal winter gear. As for Aaron's winter gear, he was wearing a red flap hat with a light brown inside, a red scarf, red mittens, and red snow boots, custom made by Rarity to fit his dragon form. "You wanted to talk to us?"

"That's right," Joe Biden said. He then noticed the three new faces. "Oh. You must be Liam Daniels."

"Glad to meet you, Mr. President," Liam said, coming over to shake his hand, which the president did.

"Glad to meet you, as well," Joe Biden said. He then noticed the babies. "And these must be the newest members of the family. Hey, they're not... you know."

"No," Marissa said. "Aaron's the only one in the family with Equestrian Magic. Meet Tony and Jessica."

"Aw, they're so adorable," Joe Biden said. "Well, as you all know, this January, I will be stepping out of office."

"Of course, Mr. President," Marissa said. "At least you helped get Smolder official records here."

"And her and Aaron's blood did do miracles for our country against COVID-19," Joe Biden said. "And it spread across the world." Then someone else walked into the room. "And, there's someone else who's appreciated by it."

They all turned to see Donald Trump coming into the room, saying, "Look at what we got here. A couple of TV stars in the Oval Office."

"Donald Trump!" Aaron, Smolder, Marissa and Liam all said in unison.

"Glad to finally meet you all," Donald Trump said. "And, I just hope that you both are people who voted for me."

"Of course we voted for you," Marissa said.

"Why?" Donald Trump asked. "Because I was an actor? Or because I'm a Republican?"

"The second one, and because of Kamala Harris publicly dissing Christians at one of her rallies," Marissa said.

"Yeah, that cost her votes," Liam said. Joe Biden and Donald Trump nodded at that.

"Well, I just hope I'll make a fine President to you all," Donald Trump said. "So, you both are about to turn sixteen next year, right?"

"Yeah," Aaron said. "We are."

"Well, since you're turning sixteen, I bet you're both waiting to get a driver's license each," Donald Trump said.

"Yeah, we are," Smolder said. "I can't wait to start driving."

"Hopefully, she doesn't get road rage," Aaron said.

"Yeah," Marissa said. "Smolder, when you start driving, obey all the laws of the road."

"You wouldn't want to get pulled over, do you?" Liam asked.

"No," Smolder said. "Fine. When I'm driving, I'll keep it under control. When do we start driving?"

"When you get your Learner's Permit," Liam said. "We'll wait to get yours until you're both 16."

"That's gonna be for another four months," Smolder said.

"Well then, it's been a pleasure working with all of you," Joe Biden said. "Enjoy your lives well."

"Of course, Mr. President," Aaron said. He then looked towards Donald Trump. "Soon, we will be calling you that."

"Of course you are," Donald Trump said. "Happy Holidays."

"Alright, kids," Marissa said. "Let's go out to eat." Then Aaron, Smolder, Marissa, Liam, Tony and Jessica left the Oval Office to head on out.

On Christmas Day, the Blazer Family and Smolder were all having Christmas Dinner. Aaron and Smolder were both in dragon form. Christmas Dinner was composed of ham, mashed potatoes, gravy, green beans, li'l smokies, and even some sweets like cookies and pumpkin pie.

"This dinner is incredible," Smolder said.

"Thank you, Smolder," Aaron's grandpa said. "So, how are you all doing in school?"

"We're doing fine, grandpa," Aaron said. "Even though we had trouble with the schedule for school, work, cheer and Basketball. But, we managed to pull through. Luckily."

"Yeah, especially with Smolder's results on the pop quiz," Marissa said.

"That was just luck," Smolder said.

"So, I'm just glad you both are doing fine," Aaron's grandma said.

"Well, I hope you two will go big," Reggie said. "You're still famous, even though those guys at Hasbro cancelled the fifth generation after everything you two did."

"I know, right?" Aaron asked. "I can't believe they cancelled the show after everything we did to keep the show alive. Literally."

"Yeah, a lot of ponies who were there in the battle against Ragnarok the Reaper were ancestors of the ponies of G5," Smolder said. "The G5 Mane 6 are descendants of the Mane 6 of our generation. Hitch and Misty are Applejack and Fluttershy's descendants, Pipp and Zipp are Rainbow Dash and Rarity's descendants, Izzy is Pinkie Pie's descendant, obviously. And Sunny..."

"She's Twilight's great-granddaughter," Aaron said. "I should know. I made an OC of an MLP fanfic become real."

"Well, I better go check on Tony and Jessica," Marissa said. "They're gonna need their mom to feed them." She then got up, took her plate to the kitchen sink, and then headed off to where her babies were."

"I'm guessing things haven't been so peaceful when you two were sleeping?" Reggie asked.

"Babies are a handful at night," Aunt Zoe said.

"I've sometimes gone into Smolder's part of the house just to get some sleep," Aaron said.

"Good call," Uncle Jerry said. "You were smart to do that. But was Smolder okay with that?"

"I had the couch prepared for him in case he had to come down," Smolder said. "These two dragons have to stick together. Even though he was originally born human."

"Well, at least we're all together," Aaron's Grandpa said. "Now, let's enjoy the rest of the holiday." Then they all continued eating and, eventually, they would end the night by watching a Christmas Movie.

Author's Note

Well, the babies have been born and Aaron and Smolder got to meet the new President, even though he was President before Biden. And, it's almost time for Aaron and Smolder to start driving. That'll be interesting. See you all next time.
