Chapter 16: Sophomore Finals

Aaron and Smolder had been studying for their final tests for the last school days. Their jobs have given them the time so they could study. Smolder really needed the win because she was in the C ranking in English and History class. They made it through the last A-Day of testing, which they passed with flying colors. Aaron's final grades of A-Day were amazing. Biology: A. Algebra: A+. PE: A. And Auto Mechanic: A+. Smolder had improved on her scores on her A-Day classes. Biology: A-. Algebra: A. PE: A+. And Fashion Design: A+.

Aaron and Smolder were currently walking down the hall to History Class. Both of them were in Dragon form. Smolder was a little nervous about the paper she wrote about. Aaron then asked, "You okay, Smolder?"

"I'll be fine," Smolder said. "I'm just... nervous about our last assignment from English Class."

"What did you write about?" Aaron asked.

"It's... personal," Smolder said. "I just hope that it's enough to get me a passing grade."

"Here's hoping," Aaron said. They then went into History Class. They got to their seats just as the bell rang.

"Alright, class," the history teacher said, coming in. He was 6'2", had red hair and a goatee, rectangular glasses, had a white button up shirt, khaki pants and black shoes. "Settle into your seats. This is the last test of the school year. So, you all need to get a good grade because it's worth a third of your grade." He then looked at Smolder. "Especially you, Miss Drake."

"Yes, Mister Handle," Smolder said. "I've been studying for this test for a while. Let's do this." Mister Handle nodded as he started handing out the tests. They all took the tests and scantron score sheet.

"Pencils up," Mister Handle said as all the students raised an arm with a pencil. "You all have forty minutes staring... now." Then all the students started filling out the score sheets.

Smolder looked at the first question and read the answers that were a part of it. The question was: "What year did Benjamin Franklin do his kite experiment? A) 1492. B) 1776. C) 1812. D) 1885." Smolder then thought about it. She then sighed. She then filled in the B Bubble.

At lunch time, Aaron, Smolder, Paul, Kyle, Megan and Slab were having lunch. They were all having pizza for lunch. Smolder was still thinking about the tests she took that day.

"Are you still worried about the tests, Smolder?" Aaron asked.

"Ya don't have to be worried," Megan said. "Ah'm sure ya did fine."

"I hope so, Megan," Smolder said. "I'm gonna go to the bathroom." She then got up and took her tray with her.

"You barely ate," Paul said.

"I'm just not that hungry," Smolder said. She then headed for the door. Aaron, Paul, Kyle, Megan and Slab looked at each other in concern for Smolder's well being.

Smolder walked out of the cafeteria and headed towards the bathroom. But then she bumped into someone, saying, "Oof. Oh, sorry." She then saw who she bumped into. It was her English Teacher. "Oh, Mister Harris. I'm sorry." Mister Harris was wearing a blue button up shirt under a sweater vest, a brown blazer with matching brown pants, and black shoes. He was in his late 50s, and he had red hair that was slowly graying.

"Hello there, Smolder," Mister Harris said. "I was looking for you."

"You were?" Smolder asked.

"That's right," Mister Harris said. "Your life story report is very interesting."

"It is?" Smolder asked, getting nervous.

"Yes," Mister Harris said. "I have. I have read every... single... word on this sheet."

"Growing up in the Dragon Lands has been quite a handful. Most of us are aggressive towards others and we tend to be overly competitive. But ever since I got applied into Princess Twilight's School of Friendship, I have made the five best friends I ever could make, and none of them were the same species as me. We studied together, had fun together, and even saved Equestria together. Then came Aaron Blazer. He might have been turned into a jade dragon when we first met, but he was okay. Even though when he became a dragon, he also became a part of an ancient Dragon Lands Prophecy. With the seven of us, our friendship became even stronger. Even though I got myself trapped in a world of humans where some of our adventures are a part of a TV show. And being in this world wasn't so bad. I may have gained the ability to change from human to dragon and back whenever I want, but I am still a dragon. And no matter where I go, my friends will still be by my side. Whether on Earth or in Equestria. They're always a part of me."

Mister Harris held Smolder's paper and smiled at her. He then brought out a red marker and put the grade on the paper. He graded it: A+.

"And with that, you should get at least an A- on your grades in my class," Mister Harris said, making Smolder smile. "Now, go ahead and enjoy yourself." He then headed back to his classroom.

Smolder smiled at that and then she headed to the girls bathroom to do her business.

It was the last day of school for the School Year. Aaron and Smolder had gotten back their final grade reports, which they were checking during Guitar Class. Marissa was going to pick them up after class. Aaron's grades were very good. Biology: A. Algebra: A. PE: A-. Auto Mechanics: A+. English: A-. World History: A-. Advanced Art: A+. Guitar: A+. Smolder reached very good grades as well. Biology: A-. Algebra: A. PE: A+. Fashion Design: A+. English: A-. World History: A-. Advanced Art: A+. Guitar: A. Basically, both Aaron and Smolder ended the school year with straight A's.

Aaron and Smolder were then picked up from school after their final class by Marissa, who also had Tony and Jessica in the car seats in the back seats. They went over to the Mel's Drive In at Universal Studios that Aaron and Smolder work at. Luckily, they got a discount on the food they ordered.

"You two did very amazing this year," Marissa said, feeding some baby food to Jessica. "I am so proud of both of you."

"Thanks, Aunt Marissa," Aaron said.

"I talked to your boss here," Marissa said. "He says that you two have also been doing very well here for working for a year."

"Meh, what can we say?" Smolder asked. "We're very good at what we do here." Then the manager came up to the table.

"You sure are," the manager said. "I must say that you two deserve a vacation from working so hard here. Marissa has informed me that the second of July, you two would be heading out of town for the 4th of July. So, you'll be having those two whole weeks off."

"Really?" Smolder asked.

"That's right," the manager said. "You two deserve it."

"Well, how about today, you two go on and spend some time with your friends after we get home?" Marissa asked. "Enjoy the rest of the day."

"Sure, Aunt Marissa," Aaron said. Then they continued eating their food.

Aaron and Smolder, in dragon form, were flying over the Everfree Forest, flying towards Ponyville. They eventually reached the town. They arrived at the School of Friendship where the new students were heading back to their respective homes for the summer. Ocellus, Silverstream and Sandbar were walking out of the school. They saw Aaron and Smolder coming towards them.

"Oooh! You're both here!" Silverstream said. She then flew up to both of them and pulled them both in for a hug. "You're actually here!"

"Wait a minute," Ocellus said. "Shouldn't you two be at work?"

"We had gotten the day off to visit you guys here," Aaron said.

"Yeah," Smolder said before giving a smug look. "We wouldn't want you to miss us, do you?"

"Well, we were on our way to Canterlot to visit Gallus," Sandbar said. "You two want in?"

"Oh, we wouldn't miss it," Smolder said.

"Hang on," Aaron said. "Where's Yona?"

"She's gonna be meeting us at the train station with Rarity," Ocellus said. "We should get going." Then they all headed towards the train station.

At Canterlot Castle, Gallus was standing guard in front of the door that led to the inside of the castle with Flash Sentry standing on the other side. Just then, both of them saw six figures coming up to them. It was Aaron and the rest of the Young 6.

"Hey!" Gallus said, walking up to his friends. He and Aaron fist bumped. "You're all here."

"The Young heroes of Equestria," Flash Sentry said. "Good to see you all again. How have you all been?"

"We've been fine, Flash," Aaron said. "So, how's Twilight and..."

"My daughter?" Flash asked. "Yeah, I know about that. And they're both doing fine." He then opened the door. "Princess Twilight would be glad to see you all. And, you've all come at a good time. Because, Princess Cadance and Flurry Heart have come from the Crystal Empire."

"Come on in," Gallus said, opening the door. He personally led his friends to the Throne Room.

In the Throne Room, Twilight and Cadance were watching Flurry and Nyx playing with each other. Flurry was five years old and now out of diapers. Nyx was now two years old.

"Awwww..." Twilight and Cadance said in unison.

"They're so adorable together," Twilight said. Just then, the throne room doors opened, catching the attention of all the Alicorns in the room. They saw Aaron and the Young 6 coming in. "Aaron! Smolder! You're back!"

"Hello, Princesses," Aaron said. "Good to see you again."

"A pleasure to see you all as well," Twilight said. "So, how was school today?"

"It was the last day of school," Smolder said. "School's out for summer." Then Nyx teleported in front of Smolder, spooking her. Nyx was flapping her wings so she would be eye level with the orange dragon. "Whoa. You're full of surprises. Kinda makes me want to see your grownup self again."

"That won't be for a while," Twilight said.

"I still can't believe you all went into the future," Cadance said. "And you brought back six ponies and a dragon hatchling from that time."

"Technically, they were pushed through the portal by Crunch who was a creature created by Grogar," Aaron said. "And, that dragon hatchling is mine and Smolder's son."

"Who hasn't unlocked the ability to transform from dragon to human yet," Twilight said. "Which was why the medallions didn't work on him."

"Yona still find it funny that pink Pegasus pony upset about her phone not working," Yona said.

"Not as funny as when Hitch kept running into a lot of things when the sunlight was reflecting off of the structures blinding him," Smolder said, showing a video of Hitch running into stuff.

"Ow! Ow! Spar--! Ow! Stupid lamppost!" Hitch said in the video.

"Guess he wasn't used to the Crystal Empire," Ocellus said, laughing.

"Yeah, that was so funny!" Gallus said. "Please tell me you posted that on the internet in the other world."

"Not until after Hasbro decided to cancel the G5 series," Smolder said, making the others, except Aaron, go shocked. "Yes."

"Well, that's not good," Twilight said. "It doesn't mean they can't have anymore adventures. That's their choice. So, you all wanting to stay the night here?"

"Meh, we got time until we can get home," Aaron said. "Plus, there's a portal to my house in Gallus's quarters."

"Gallus, escort your friends to the guest rooms," Twilight said.

"Yes, Princess," Gallus said, saluting. Then he led his friends to where they'll be staying.

Back on Earth, Marissa, Liam, Tony and Jessica were entering a Ford Dealership. Then a dealer walked up to them.

"Hello, there," the dealer said. "What can I help you with?"

"Hello, sir," Marissa said. "I'm hoping to buy a vehicle for my nephew."

Well, Aaron and Smolder made it through there second year in High School. Two more years to go. And now that Aaron and Smolder have their Driver's Licenses, they're gonna be getting their own set of wheels. Thanks for voting, which have been tallied up. See you all next time.
