Horrors of War: Equestria 1940

Celestia in a field in rural region of France, she was disorientated and confused to her new surroundings. Next to Celestia laid a pegasus mare, her coat was Citrine White , her mane had streaks of Lemon Chiffon, Picasso and Texas Rose, and her eyes were the colour of Eucalyptus but also next to Celestia laid Applejack, Rarity and Celestia's own student Twilight Sparkle, along with a few other ponies, there were 10 of the ponies in total.

They travelled for what felt like hours until they came across a derelict, dilapidated farmhouse big enough for the group.
"There's shelter!" Celestia pointed out to the group, after a while they got cosy inside the farmhouse while Applejack got to fixing the front door. "I think we should scavenge for food, we won't last through winter without it" The Pegasus mare suggested.

Twilight Sparkle was browsing through the attic of the farmhouse when she came across an old FM radio, she picked it up in her magic and bought it down to the kitchen, "What is that?" Celestia asks Twilight Sparkle, "I honestly don't know I just found it in the attic" Twilight Sparkle replied.

"Hey AJ could you see if you can get this thing working? Twilight Sparkle asked Applejack, "ah dunno Twi, ah can see what ah can do" Applejack replied, later that day a group of the ponies that were scavenging for food came back with assortment of mushrooms and berries, more precisely Boletus Edulis, Macrolepiota Procera and Rubus Allegheniensis, and they bought back a lot of them, enough to keep them fed for a week.

After finishing fixing the door Applejack attempted to fix the FM radio, and after half an hour of tinkering she managed to get it working. They sat around the radio listening to the French radio which they couldn't understand, but then Rarity walked in, "Oh my! is that Prench?" Rarity asked the group.

The group just shrugged, Rarity then listened to the host on the French radio.

"Aujourd'hui le temps s'annonce clair en région Normandie, il fera beau avec une température chaude de 26°C." The French Radio host said.

Rarity's eyes widened "Oh my! This is Prench, Luckily you you all I understand a bit of Prench, from what I can understand today will be clear and 26°C." Rarity said to the group.
