Horrors of War: Equestria 1940

Rarity sat nervously in front of the radio with the other Ponies translating the French broadcast as best she could, "This morning, the French ambassador in Berlin, handed the German government a final note, stating that unless we heard from them by 11:00, that they were prepared at once to withdraw troops from Poland, a state of war would exist between us..." Rarity said as their faces became pale at the announcement that war was imminent.

The ponies have never seen Princess Celestia so concerned and almost in tears, "I... need a moment..." Princess Celestia said as she walked into a different room and closed the door behind her. The ponies just looked at eachother in disbelief, They have never had any wars back in Equestria so this was new for all of them, seeing Celestia react like she did made them all incredibly nervous.

Twilight enter Celestia's room, seeing her on the bed sobbing quietly, but before she could say something she is suddenly pushed out of the room by a golden magic aura and the door slammed shut behind her. Twilight just stared at the door, trying to comprehend what just happened. "Twi? what was that about?" Apple Jack asked, looking as confused as Twilight was.

After a few hours Twilight tried to check in with Celestia again, Twilight knocks on Celestia's door before opening it, "Princess? are you alright?" Twilight Asks Celestia.

Celestia looks up, the fur under her eyes matted from her earlier crying, "No Twilight, We've quite literally appeared in this land and not even a month in this land we find out that there's war imminent... I just want to protect my ponies" Celestia says, her eyes tearing up once more, "I see where you're coming from" Twilight says while looking at the floor.

"Twilight... Could you... stay here with me... I need company right now..." Celestia says, a faint blush on her face.
