Daleks’ Invasion of Equestria
Chapter 2: The Conversion Begins
Previous ChapterNext ChapterRainbow Dash hovered above Ponyville, her movements no longer fluid or lively but cold, mechanical. A quiet hum emanated from her wings as she carried out the Dalek’s orders. Her once brilliant eyes were now hidden behind a cold, reflective visor, scanning for targets.
Her first stop was Carousel Boutique.
Inside, Rarity and Fluttershy worked on a new design, the soft sounds of the sewing machine blending with their conversation. The boutique was filled with light, warmth, and the gentle chatter that came so naturally between friends.
When Rainbow burst through the door, the atmosphere changed.
“Rainbow Dash?” Rarity looked up from her sewing, a puzzled smile on her face. “What a pleasant surprise! It’s such a lovely day out—surely you’re not stuck indoors like us?”
But something was off. Rarity’s sharp eye immediately honed in on the strange metallic sheen of Rainbow’s outfit. Her smile faltered as she approached, her horn glowing slightly as she used her magic to lift one of Rainbow’s wings for inspection.
“What is this dreadful thing? Rainbow, darling, you simply must change out of this at once.”
But Rainbow Dash stood still, silent. Her visor flashed faintly as it scanned the room, locking onto Rarity.
“Rainbow?” Fluttershy’s timid voice came from behind Rarity. “A-Are you okay?”
There was no response.
“Rainbow Dash, answer me!” Rarity demanded, her voice rising as she waved a hoof in front of Rainbow’s face. “What in Equestria has gotten into you?”
Suddenly, a low hum filled the air. Without warning, Rarity was lifted off the ground, suspended in mid-air by an invisible force. She let out a gasp, kicking her legs as her magic flickered uselessly.
"Rainbow! What are you doing?" Rarity shouted, struggling against the telekinetic grip that held her.
Fluttershy cowered in the corner, trembling, her wide eyes filled with fear. “R-Rainbow, stop! Please!”
But Rainbow Dash’s visor only flickered as she turned to leave. In an instant, Rarity disappeared, teleported away from her boutique, leaving Fluttershy behind, shaking and terrified.
Rarity materialized in a dark, sterile chamber. The walls were smooth, polished metal, illuminated by harsh overhead lights. Her heart raced as she banged on the surface, demanding to be released.
“Let me out of here this instant!” she shouted, her voice echoing in the hollow chamber. "Do you hear me? I demand you release me!"
But there was no answer. No sound, save for the unsettling hum of machinery around her.
Then, without warning, a panel slid open, revealing a series of ray guns that emerged from the walls. Rarity froze, her mind flashing with panic. She prepared herself for the worst, thinking she was about to be disintegrated on the spot.
But instead, the guns fired beams of energy that began forming a metallic jumpsuit around her front area (her flank and hind hooves are still normal). Rarity screamed, her front hooves flailing as the suit wrapped tightly around her, covering her once pristine coat in cold, dull metal. The fabric clung to her, suffocating in its rigidity.
"NO! NO! THIS IS HIDEOUS!" she shrieked, trying to tear it off, but the material was unyielding.
Her distress only deepened when she felt a strange buzzing sensation in her flank. Her eyes widened in horror as her cutie mark began to glow, then faded, a thick black "X" slashing through it.
“No… NO! What have you done to me?!”
Before she could continue her protest, the final piece of her transformation appeared—a helmet, equipped with a visor just like Rainbow’s. It descended onto her head, her horn barely poking through a hole at the top.
As soon as it locked into place, Rarity felt a sharp pain in her mind. She screamed, clutching her head, trying desperately to resist the influence surging through her.
But it was no use. The pain intensified, clouding her thoughts, drowning out everything but a single command.
"Obey."
Her screams faded, replaced by a dull, robotic calm. Her once vibrant, expressive eyes dimmed beneath the visor, now cold and calculating.
Rarity—now fully robotized—stood still, awaiting further orders from the Daleks. She had been transformed, body and mind, into a servant of the Dalek invasion.
And now, like Rainbow Dash, she too would help to bring Equestria to its knees.
To be continued…
