"Oh Giggy, I'm so happy i found you." the white mare cried into Gigawatts chest.

Gigawatt lay on the icy hospital floor, his back dampening from the melting ice beneath him. At his waist was a white pegasus who had him embraced in an affectionate hug, nuzzling his chest gently. Dozens of thoughts flooded the stallions head, such as 'what just happened?' and 'why is this pegasus hugging me?'. As his mind raced, it came upon one thought that made all the others silent in his realization. 'Did she just call me Giggy?' He asked himself as he looked down at the white pegasus and got a better look at her. Her coat was a pure snow white a faint glare shinning off of it in even the low light of the hospital. She sported a white and ice blue mane, styled so that the front white part came down over her left (it would be her right) eye and the back blue part spiked downward along the back of her head. Her tail, the same color of blue as her mane, was rough an unkempt, and she wore a pair of goggles with bronze rimming, as well as a pair of knee high black gloves.

One final look up and down the mare confirmed that Gigawatt had no clue as to who the pegasus was. 'But she knows me somehow.' Gigawatt thought to himself. "Uh, excuse me, do I know you?" Gigawatt asked.

"What?" The mare broke her grip from the unicorn and rose the front half of her body so she could look him straight in the eye. "Gigawatt, its me, Blizzard."

"Sorry, but I don't have a clue who you are." Gigawatt pushed the mare off of him.

"You can't be serious." 'Blizzard' stood up looking at Gigawatt in disbelief.

"I'm pretty sure I wouldn't forget someone as violent as you." Gigawatt gestured towards the four mares on the floor on the other side of the lobby.

"Meh, I have a short temper." Blizzard shrugged her good wing. "But seriously, Gigawatt, we grew up together. We knew each other since before the Shadow Calamity. And even during that we stayed together. You were like a, no you are a brother to me. You cant forget about me just like that."

"I'm sorry but I really don't know who you are."

"This can't be happening." Blizzard shook her head. "it' s been less than a week and your saying you don't remember me at all."

"Not the foggiest idea."

"B-but, you cant just... Giggy please tell me that your kidding."

"I'm not kidding, i really don't remember anything."

"But its not possible. This can't be happening, that enchantment that we had placed on us should have prevented something like this from happening."

"Enchantment?" Gigawatt rose a eyebrow.

"It was supposed to protect us from any type of mental damage." The pegasus explained. "The only way to break the enchantment is for the caster to personally remove it or for you to have come into contact with a reversal stone. but the reversal stones were all destroyed during the Shadow Calamity, so the only way for your enchantment to have been removed is if she removed it from you. Either that or..." The mare paused as she started staring past Gigawatt and at nothing in particular.

"Or what?" Gigawatt asked.

"Or your lying." Blizzard finished, venom in her voice and her worried face turning into a furious glare.

"What! But I'm not lying." Gigawatt leaned back, surprised at the pegasai's sudden mood swing. "I really don't remember anything."

"Then explain to me how the enchantment wore off!" The pegasus sceamed pushing her face into Gigawatts. "Because I know for a fact that she didn't do it, and without a reversal stone there's no other way."

"But I'm not..."

"Shut it Gigawatt! If you want to keep up this charade that's your choice. But I'm still gonna drag your sorry ass back to the castle where she'll decide a proper punishment for you for running away!"

'I ran away?' Gigawatt thought to himself ."Look I'm not lying and I really don't know what your talking about, but if I ran away it must have been for a damn good reason." He yelled back

"You did." Blizzard muttered barely audible for Gigawatt to hear though he could still detect its venom. She shifted her eyes away from the stallion as she finished. "You really did." She closed her eyes and shuddered.

"Then why are you trying to take me back to... wherever your from." Gigawatt took a small cautious step towards the pegasus.

"I don't want to." The pegasus looked back to Gigawatt. "I would have even come with you if I could have."

"Then why?"

"Its complicated." Blizzard lifted one of her hooves and stared intensely into Gigawatts eyes.

"How's it compli..." before Gigawatt could finish his sentence he felt something very hard slam across the side of his head. Stumbling backwards and reflexively clutching the point of impact with his hoof, Gigawatt frantically searched for whatever had hit him. As he searched he noticed that blizzard was no longer where she had been. 'where?' Gigawatt thought to himself. A second impact to his side, this one much stronger than the first, sent him into the wall of the hallway he had stumbled into. Falling to the floor Gigawatt now saw that Blizzard was standing beside the spot he had just been, facing the opposite direction and lowering her back hooves to the floor. 'Oh, now i see."

"Come on Gigawatt," blizzard turned and approached the the downed unicorn, "I'm bringing you back to her now."

"You just punched me in the face and kicked me into a wall!" Gigawatt yelled in the pegasai's face at such a loud volume it caused her to flinch briefly. "If you expect me to go anywhere with you, your sorely mistaken."

"Heh, you make it sound like you have a choice." The pegasus grinned in amusment. Raising her hoof she prepared to strike the unicorn again. Suddenly the pegasus was struck by a magenta bolt of energy, sending the mare flying sideways.

"Leave him alone" A voice rang out. Looking back down the hallway and into the lobby gigawatt spotted a purple unicorn struggling to stay upright, slowly making her way to gigawatts side. "Are you alright?" The unicorn asked as she reached him.

"Yeah, I'm fine." Gigawatt replied as he got on his hooves. "Thanks for the save."

"Your welcome." The purple mare smiled.

"Why you little," Blizzard glared at the purple unicorn as she regained her footing. "Listen girl, you and your friends got lucky that gigawatt here decided to show up before you all became frozen treats for timberwolves. Now if your smart you'll lay back down and shut up before you get yourself hurt." Turning back to Gigawatt the pegasais glare turned into a full fleged look of rage. "As for you, your coming with me whether you like it or not."

The purple unicorn stepped between the pegasus and the stallion. "If you want him your going to have to go through me first." She stated trying to look less exhausted than she actually was.

"Hey, your injured, you don't have to do this." Gigawatt told the purple unicorn in front of him.

"I'm fine." The unicorn lied. "Besides i want to help you. If I've learned anything during these years I've lived here in ponyville, its to always support and take care of those you care about. And even though we still don't know each other, I cant just stand by while your in trouble."

"Oh really?" Blizzard cocked an eyebrow. "Then tell me, why exactly are you defending him. You know nothing about him, yet your still ready to protect him from me."

The purple unicorn faltered. "W-well, uh, y-you see." The unicorn stuttered a deep crimson appearing across her muzzle. Shaking her head as she tried to get rid of the blush on her face and regain her previous  determination. "Its just that Your trying to harm a innocent pony and I'm not going to let that happen."

"That's not all it is, is it?" Blizzard smiled devilishly at the unicorn.

"I don't know what your getting at." The unicorn glared at the pegasus. "I'm just trying to do the right thing."

"Oh don't try to hide the fact that you where blushing a moment ago. You like him don't you."

"Wait, what?" Gigawatts eyes widened as he looked towards the unicorn beside him. A new streak of blush was now visible across the mares face as she smiled sheepishly at him. "Really?" He asked her curiously. She answered with a simple nod of her head as she tried to avoid eye contact with him out of embarrassment. Closing his eyes Gigawatt smiled to himself. She was kind of cute. "So what if she likes me. Its not a bad thing, and in my honest opinion its better to be liked by a mare who wants to help me than being attacked by some random mare who wants to drag me to god knows where." He started as he moved to the other unicorns side. Opening his eyes once more they where now a soft magenta, not unlike the mares that stood beside him. "I think I'd like to stay here instead."

"Your eyes." Blizzard said wide eyed. "Y-you synced. YOU SYNCED WITH HER!"

"Synced? What does that mean?" The purple unicorn puzzled looking up at the stallion beside her. Unfortunately Gigawatt looked as confused as she did. It was then that she noticed the shift in his eye color. "Wait how did your eyes do that?"

"That sync was mine," Blizzard muttered under her breath just loud enough for the two unicorns to hear. "It was supposed to be me. she promised me." The pegasai grew louder. "Now I'll never be able to sync with him. All because that unicorn stole it away." The pegasus then started to move slowly to the pair in front of her, starting to look somewhat psychotic. "Taking Giggy back can wait. I have a pretty purple unicorn to kill." with that the pegasus launched herself towards the lavender mare. "Your mine twilight!" She cried.

'Twilight' lowered her head and snapped of a quick shot of magical energy to ward of the incoming pegasus, who nimbly sidestepped the magenta energy with ease. She continued to fire at the pegasus, who each time proved to be to fast for the unicorn to hit grew closer and closer. At two meters the pegesus jumped hard to the left as she dodged another bolt of magic, putting Gigawatt in between her and the purple unicorn preventing any more shots being fired off. The pegasus crouched low and extended her hoof out to the side as a thick icicle materialized out of nowhere and enveloped her hoof, the icicle growing to about six inches. The pegasus then shot out her back legs as she jumped over the stallion at the purple mare on the other side. Below her Gigawatt instictively swung the lower half of his body in to the air to slam his tail into the pegasus above him. As his tail came into contact with her body a burst of electricity blasted out of it, sending the mare flying into the ground.

Just before hitting the floor Blizzard righted her self and landed on her hooves (minus the one that had the icicle attached) and spun around to face her opponents. completing her spin she was met by a flurry of yellow bolts of electrified magic. ducking and weaving, blizzard dodged the bolts flying at her as they came within inches of her body. As she maneuvered she was eventually caught in the face by a stray bolt, causing her to flip onto her back and smash her icicle on the ground. Landing on her broken wing she let out a pained yelp and quickly righted herself to take the weight off of it and found herself facing Gigawatt's brown hind hooves.

Quickly ducking she dodged the piston-like movement aimed at her face causing Gigawatt to slightly lose his balance. Taking advantage of the stallions balance being off-center, Blizzard placed her weight on one of her front legs and spun her body in a low windmill like motion as she attempted to trip the unicorn in front of her. The stallion barrel rolled to the side as the mares hooves swept below him and a bolt of purple energy flew past him and into the pegasais side. The pegasus let a small squeak escape her lips as she flew backwards into a wall and slumped to the floor. Getting her hooves under her, blizzard attemted to rise before releasing a shriek of pain and falling back to the floor cluthing her side.

Walking up to the pegasus, Gigawatt pointed his horn at the mare as she tried to get up once more. "It would be best if you stayed down." He warned, his now purple eyes staring into hers. The pegasus let out a defeated sigh before she closed her eyes and stopped struggling to get back up. Satisfied that he had convinced her to give up he rose his head and turned to look at the purple unicorn standing several meters behind him. "Your name is Twilight right?" He asked. The unicorn nodded. "Are you alright?"

"I'm fine." She replied, wincing as she tested an area of her body that had ice on it. "At least I should be once I thaw this ice off of me. How about you?"

"I'm okay, but this hospital gown is kind of itchy." He scratched at his chest with his hoof before gesturing behind the mare with a nod. "What about your friends?"

Looking behind her, Twilight saw her three other friends looking her and Gigawats direction in awe as Doctor Stable, Nurse Redheart, and a few other nurses tended to there wounds. "AJ, hows everypony doing?" Twilght hollered.

"Were all fine'n dandy Twi." An orange earth pony responded. "Though Pinkie did get it worse than the rest of us, but she should be okay after the ice on her melts."

Gigawatt observed the earth pony for a few moments. She was wearing a brown stetson hat atop her blond mane which had a red band to keep it together near the bottom of it, and her tail was done up the same way as her mane was. Her eyes were a light emerald green and she had a set of freckles underneath them. On her flank she sported a trio of red apple markings.

Looking around at the rest of the pony's he noticed that they all had markings of their own emblazoned on their flanks as well. The white unicorn within the group had a trio of diamonds on her while the pink earth pony sported a trio of balloons. Looking back at twilight he saw that she had a six pointed magenta star surrounded by five other smaller white stars. Curious Gigawatt looked back at his own flank and pulled his hospital gown forward a bit. Expecting a marking of his own to be there, he was surprised to find out that he didn't have one.

'And I don't have one why?' Gigawatt asked himself. 'Meh, Whatever, they cant be that important.' Looking back at the purple unicorn he yelped and jumped back when instead he was met with the face of a pink mare right in his.

"Hi, I'm Pinkie Pie!" She basically yelled into the stallions face. "Your new in ponyville right because I know everypony in ponyville but I don't know you so that must mean that your new and that means that I have to throw you a welcome to ponville party which means I have to get balloons and streamers and games and music and cupcakes oh I love cupcakes there my favorite type of food do you like cupcakes what am i talking about of course you do everypony likes cupcakes there so good but normal cakes are good to because there just like big cupcakes but there's icing all over them instead of just the top but cupcakes are still my favorite because there small and easy to bring with you they also..."

"Yeah enough of this." Gigawatt said aloud as he quickly stuffed his hoof into the pink pony,s rapid fire mouth. Looking over Pinkie Pie he saw that she had spots of ice all over her body and one exceptionally large one on her side. "Shouldn't you have the doctors look over you?" He asked the muffled mare.

"Oh yeah." The pink pony somehow said through gigawatts hoof perfectly as if it wasnt even there at all. Turning back towards the doctors pinkie walked off over to them. Half way to them she stopped and her tail started violently twitching for a second before her ears started to flop about. looking down at her hoof she frowned before turning back to Gigawatt wide eyed. "Watch out!" the pink mare yelled

"What?" gigawatt raised his eyebrows. suddenly something in the back of his mind told him to move, and to do it quickly. Jumping towards the wall he was close to he found saw blizzard slam down into the ground where he had been just moments before, leaving cracks in the floor. looking at her face he noticed she was glaring at him, though it seemed more desperate than angry. 'How come no one but the pink one noticed that she moved? And she wasn't even looking over here.' He thought.

Deciding to not let the pegasus get the upper hand he planted all four of his hooves on the wall he was moving towards as he landed on it instead of the floor, the wall giving just the tiniest bit as his weight pressed into it. He then launched himself back the way he had come as fast as he could straight at the white mare and tackled her to the ground. Sitting on top of her he pressed his front hooves against her upper forelegs as she struggled to get away from him.

"Settle down." Gigawatt ordered even though he guessed she probably wouldn't listen.

"Make me!" She yelled, it almost sounding like a plea.

"Suit yourself." Gigawatt closed his eyes as his horn glowed to life. Instead of channeling his magic straight out of his horn he concentrated it in his front hooves and expelled it straight into the pegasus in the form of electricity. She screamed in torment as the electrical current coursed its way through her body until eventually she fell silent and fainted. Canceling the spell Gigawatt slowly rose from the limp body of the mare which occasionally twitched as excess electricity pulsed through her body.

"G-Gigawatt." A voice stuttered from behind the stallion. Looking back he saw twilight cautiously approach him as if unsure whether it was safe or not. "Di-did you. Is... She..?"

"Shes not dead." Gigawatt explained trying to calm the mare. "I only used enough electricity to knock her unconscious."

Twilight gave a relived exhale. "That's good. For a second there I thought you..."

"Whewy, let me tell ya, that was somthin else." The orange earth pony, now wrapped in bandages that smelled heavily of antiseptics, called out from behind Twilight as she approached the unicorn duo. "Ah ain't seen no unicorn move that fast before in mah life. That was truly amazin."

"Thanks, but i don't think i should be congratulated for hurting someone." Gigawatt scratched the back of his head.

"Normally ah'd agree with ya, but if ya hadn't done what ya did, Twi here could have been seriously hurt or worse, and for that ya'll have mah sincere thanks." The orange earth pony held out her hoof. "By the way, the names Applejack."

The stallion gave the earth pony a friendly smile. "Nice to meet you applejack." Gigawatt rose his hoof to hers. As soon as the two pony,s hoofs connected a loud cracking sound filled their ears and they retracted their hooves back to their body's. Gigawatt curiously inspected his hoof trying to figure out if that noise had come from him.

"What in the wide wide world of Equestria?" Twilight looked at gigawatt. Or a least he thought she was looking at him until he heard the cracking sound continuing from behind him where Blizzard lay unconscious. Looking back at the unconscious pegasus behind him, he saw a black ring around one of her forelegs flickering in and out of existence, the cracking sound accompanying it whenever it showed itself. Flickering for a few more seconds before a louder crack was heard, it burst into a pile of black dust that pooled itself onto either side of the pegasai's leg.

"What was that?" Applejack asked looking to both Twilight and Gigawatt for answers.

"I'm not really sure." Twilight moved a little closer to the dust pile her horn enveloping itself in a magenta glow. "Whatever it was i can sense that there were a couple of spells placed on it. The fist one was a simple illusion spell meant to make it invisible. The second one is way more complicated, though it feels strangely familiar, almost like..." Twilight abruptly brought her head back up, her eyes as wide as dinner plates. "It feels almost exactly the same as the spell that the changeling queen used on my brother to control him!"

"Twi, do you think that this mare was being controlled to do this against her own will?" Applejack turned to the purple unicorn.

"That's the most likely conclusion AJ." Twilght sat back on her haunches. "I mean, looking back on it some of her behavior did seem a little strange. Like when she kept saying she or her. it was like she was being prevented from saying somepony's name."

"Do you think this Changling Queen could have somthing to do with this?" Gigawatt asked tying to be helpful to the conversation.

"Its possible but unlikely." Twilight replied.

"But ya'll just said it was the same spell that was used your brother." Applejack stated.

"I said its was similar to the spell she used on my brother, Its not the same." Twilight explained. "If you remember AJ, Changlings are creatures that have to feed off of love to survive right." Applejack nodded. "Well they have to use the love they collect to energize the spells they use. This leaves a trace of love energy whenever they use a spell. When I identified the magic residue in the dust, neither of the spells had any trace of love energy at all."

"So then if it wasn't Queen Chrysalis, who was it?" Applejack asked.

"Well have to wait for her to wake up and tell us." Twilight gestured at the white pegasus on the floor in front of them. "Until then I think I should inform the princess about what happened here tonight. I'm going to need to go and get spike."

"Your not going any where Ms. Sparkle." Someone said from behind them. Gigawatt whipped around an lit his horn, ready to defend the unicorn beside her. Gigawatt now found himself with his horn inches from one of the hospitals doctors muzzle, wide eyed in surprised. Realizing who the pony was Gigawatt let his horns glow fade and rose his head embarrassed.

"Heheh, sorry about that, I guess I'm still a little jumpy after what just happened." Gigawatt gave a nervous chuckle.

"Its quite aliright Gigawatt." The doctor gave the brown unicorn a warm smile. "I imagine anypony would be like that after what you just went through."

"Hello Doctor Stable, is there somthing you wanted?" Twilight turned to face the newcomer. "I was just about to leave so you'll have to make it quick."

"Ms. Sparkle, I would advise you not to leave the hospital until we have treated your wounds. Once you have been treated you'll be free to go wherever you feel, but until then i ask that you remain here."

Twilight looked like she was about to argue with the doctor but the she thought better of it. "I guess you have a point. I'll just ask Fluttershy took go and get spike for me seeing that shes the only one who didn't get hurt."

"Good, now if you'll just follow me we can get you all fixed up." Doctor stable turned to Gigawatt. "After I'm done with Ms. Sparkle here i would like to look you over to make sure none of your wounds opened back up while you where fighting."

"Um, sounds good to me i guess." Gigawatt raised an eyebrow. 'I didn't even know i was injured.' He thought to himself. the doctor moved off down the hall to the lobby where a few carts of medical supplies had been moved for treatment of the mares who had been attacked. Gigawatt  was about to follow when he remembered about Blizzard. "what about her?" He motioned to the pegasus. "She should be treated as well. It wasn't actually her fault that she attacked us."

Doctor Stable motioned to a pair of nurses who made their way to the unconscious pegasus that was laying on the floor and brought her into one of the many rooms along the hallway. The doctor then continued down the hallway towards the lobby and Gigawatt followed. When they reached the carts the doctor and a few nurses wasted no time in melting the ice off of Twilight with warm water, which surprisingly took an entire fourty-five minutes to entirely get rid of. They then proceeded to wrap bandages with antiseptic medicine around her affected areas. As the bandages were being placed on her, Doctor Stable left the group and started to check over Gigawatt for injury's.

"So doc," Gigawatt watched the doctor as he went over his body. "You said that i had some kind of injury's already. What kind of injury's and where exactly?"

"You were inflicted with several deep lacerations along the upper part of your left foreleg and your back." The doctor stated as he gently pressed his hoof against the bruise on the side of Gigawatts head. Gigawatt winced slightly as the flesh was touched. Doctor Stable took note of the stallions reaction and continued to look him over. "Your lucky that none of them got infected, considering how you were found."

"And how was i found?"

"Ms. Sparkle found you in the rain outside of Miss Rarity's boutique after a bolt of electricity struck the ground."

'Well that doesn't seem normal' Gigawatt thought to himself "Who's Miss Rarity?" He asked

"The white unicorn with the purple mane." Doctor stable motioned behind Gigawatt as he went around to the stallions back and started to untie the hospital gown. "She's the towns most successful seamstress and has designed dresses for famous ponys like Hoity Toity and Sapphire Shores." The doctor started to pull at the strings a little harder with his teeth.

Looking over his shoulder, Gigawatt saw the white unicorn the doctor had been talking about. She was sitting beside Twilight, Pinkie pie, and Applejack chatting idly with the three mares as Twilight was being bandaged up by the nurses. He then noticed that Doctor Stable seemed to be struggling with the gown. "Having difficulties doc?" He grinned.

"Sorry." he grunted. "Honestly, I cant for the life of me figure out why they put strings on these things instead of hooks or have them button up at the front."

"Probably has to do with something about comfort. I know I wouldn't want to be laying on top of metal hooks or plastic buttons. It sounds uncomfortable." gigawatt lit his horn with yellow light. "Want some help?"

"Be my guest."

Griping the stings with his magic, Gigawatt pulled them until they came undone and let the gown fall to the floor. The air rolling across his body was a welcome change to the itchiness that the gown had been causing, though the itching had stopped about twenty minutes prior. Curious about his wounds he looked down to his foreleg as as he would be able to see those ones better than the ones on his back. When he saw his leg he was confused. Looking back at Doctor Stable he saw that he wore an expression of confusion as well.

"Doc, I thought you said that I was injured." Gigawatt asked

"You were." The doctor looked at Gigawatt in disbelief.

"Then where did my injury's go?"
