Within a room baring an Egyptian theme with walls covered in black and gold and different Egyptian sculptures with some being ponies instead of human, sleeping in a Gatch bed with a wood frame along with a headrest pillow and a silk blanket covered in Egyptian hieroglyphics was a artic blue stallion with a short black mane who slept soundly as sunlight shined in through his window. Walking over to the side of the bed was a little black cat with blue eyes wearing a golden broad collar who looked quite happy. Stopping to sit where the pony’s face was facing her, the cat soon jumped up to land and sit where it was now in front of the pony. With one paw, the little feline then lightly bopped the sleeping stallion on the nose which managed to wake him, the pony giving a yawn as he slowly opened his golden eyes and smiled at seeing the cat.

“Good morning, Cleopawtra.” The stallion said as he took one hoof out from under the blanket and pet the cat, gently petting the cat who purred at the affection.

After a moment of petting the cat now known as Cleopawtra, the stallion then sat up in his bed before stretching with a groan and his forehooves out to the side, his wings spreading out to reveal him as a Pegasus. After a good stretch and a smack of his slips, he then gently picked up Cleopawtra as he then got out of bed, taking the blanket off to hover over the floor. If one were to watch him, they would see his cutie mark: a golden ankh with the loop being shaped like a heart and the horizontal line shaped like feathered wings. Upon reaching a black velvet pillow with golden seams and a golden food dish beside it, the pegasus then gently places Cleopawtra in front of the pillow, the cat sitting there as it watches the pegasus fly over and pick up a bag of cat food. Coming back, he then pours cat food into the dish until it is full.

“There you go. Eat up, my little princess.” The stallion said as Cleopawtra then goes over and happily eats the cat food, revealing the cat to be female.

After putting the bag back where it was before, the stallion then goes to a bureau not too far from the cat. Upon seeing his mane and short black tail in a scruffy state, he then takes a comb that combs them both until they are smooth with the bangs of his mane combed back. He gives himself a grin upon seeing his combed hair in the reflection. After doing so, he then looks over to the pony-shaped head stand sitting on the table of the bureau. More specifically, to the bronze circlet on top of it. While the material it was made of had no value, the front of it possessed a golden yellow jewel shaped a downward-facing triangle within its bezel. Looking at the radiant gem, a womanly voice echoes within the stallion’s head.

“My dear boy, you are quite the rare jewel. The greed you hold in your heart even makes me envious of you.”

Queen Double Gloucester: While many would consider it as a bad trait, we are encouraged to embrace our greed with utmost pride. After all, it was the greed of one pony that created our glorious kingdom.

Cutting to a scorching desert with great mounds of sand, deep within this harsh environment, we then see a grand gate of gold and stone, guarded by two dog-like beings wearing Egyptian armor and armed with blue spears.

Queen Double Gloucester: Yes, it was greed which created the very paradise known as Caironco, better known as the Golden City. But this greed was not of the kind of selfish desire like that belonging to a thief. No, this selfishness was toward the good of other creatures who lived in this barren land, the desire of wanting them to live in prosperity. It is because of this that our glorious kingdom has grown, both in abundance and innovation. While many would consider a place of so many cultures and tongues to be chaotic, this is what makes Caironco our home.

Cutting to a view from above, beyond the wall, there was a great kingdom of gold that shone like a priceless jewel with a glorious pyramid at the very center of it. Walking among the streets of the city, there were more canine beings along with ponies, griffons, and what appear to be wingless dragons, all dressed in Egyptian clothing. Despite the ancient design of it, the citizens of the city all seem to use technology similar to the modern era, such as phones, sliding doors, and even radios.

Queen Double Gloucester: Even in our common bazars, you can find the most exotic spices and the finest silks. You can enjoy amazing cuisines and thirst-quenching drinks.
With so much prosperity, many can even find themselves lost within the haze of pure delight, whether it is during the brightest day or the darkest night.
One can even find use of their skills, either to support themselves or for the good of others.

Cutting over to a local market full of different stalls with all sorts of goods, we see many creatures either browsing or trying to haggle the price of what they are trying to buy. With time speedily moving forward until the sun sets and the moon has risen into the sky, we are then shown the city as it continues to shine with radiance within the shadows of the night.

Cutting over to a different street, we are then shown many street performers such as an Earth pony lying on a bed of nails, a griffon who eats and blows streams of fire, a griffon who charms snakes, dragon belly dancers, and a canine-being sword swallower. Amongst the creatures that pass them, those who like their performances toss coins into the chests belonging to the performers, the coins being mostly copper and silver with a few gold coins too.

With the griffin who used fire in his performance, after looking at the many coins that filled his chest with some gold, he smiled at what he had earned. This smile disappeared when he looked to see a mare and a foal standing in front of a fruit stand, the mare trying to use some copper coins to buy a basket of apples along with a jar of what looks like rainbow jam with the vendor refusing to exchange them for the coins. With hearing the foal’s stomach growl, the griffin couldn’t help but feel sorry for the two, but smiles as he decides on what to do with this. Taking the only gold from his chest, he goes over to the stand and gives the gold coins to the vendor who gladly accepts. Taking one apple from the basket, he then gives it to the foal who takes and happily eats the apple while the mare takes the basket and carefully places the jam amongst the apples. With the mare giving her thanks and the griffon telling her that he was glad to help. They both go their separate ways with the foal following the mare and the griffin going to get his chest before he then starts for home.

Queen Double Gloucester: Much like my ancestor, the very greedy pony who created the Golden City, I am proud to rule such a glorious kingdom from a gold throne for there is nothing I enjoy more than seeing its people continue to prosper. Though our kingdom is prosperous, it is also our duty and our greed to help and share that prosperity with all of Equis, especially to those who need it.

Cutting to a throne room, sitting upon a golden throne, we see a brown Pegasus mare with a long golden mane and tail along with golden yellow eyes. Dressed in a kalasiris with midnight blue straps that looked like a night sky with green and gold stars along with a white sheath gown lined with gold and tied with a green sash baring a golden scarab, golden bracelets on all four of her hooves, golden triangular earrings, and a golden diadem with what golden eagle at the front, she sits on the throne with a proud smile as lays her head in one hoof with her foreleg leaned against one arm of the throne. After a moment, the glint of her diadem gives off a bright light that fills the scene before it all goes to black.

Queen Double Gloucester: While we try to shine as the stars above, there are those who shine above all others: the Champions of Virtue, the five heroes who protect the world from all who dare threaten it, their greed in protecting the good creatures of Equis greater than anyone’s.
Wielding the mystic Soul Jewels which hold their radiant power, they watch over all of Equis and fight all evil wherever it may hide.

With flames from igniting within the darkness, we are then shown a wall of hieroglyphics with a few images depicting five different ponies. At the center was an armored alicorn with a crystal-like horn and paws instead of front hooves with a helmet bearing a hexagonal shape underneath their horn and a white heart on their breastplate. To the alicorn’s right, there stood a pegasus pony with wings that resemble a butterfly and wielding a staff resembling a flower with a green fleur-de-lis on the flower and an armor unicorn holding up a great sword with a quillion baring two diamond-like edges on each end, and a blade with two triangular tips in the middle section and a slightly bigger one in the end. The blade also has two star-shaped symbols in the middle and the quillion bears a purple diamond at its center. To the alicorn’s left, there is a unicorn wearing a cloak and a wizard hat with the clip of the cloak being a pin bearing what appears to be a blue eye and a Pegasus boasting a pair of arc-shaped wings with a triangle pattern on their edges. Wielding a great spear, the stallion is dressed in a collar with outward spokes, a linen skirt with a belt, bracelets, and helmet with wings on the front with a burst of hair at the back and yellow triangle on the front.

Queen Double Gloucester: Amongst them was Radiant Gold the Radiant Queen, the first pharaoh of Caironco and the first Champion of Prosperity. Not to mention my great ancestor who was considered to be the greediest pony in all of Equis. Wielding the Jewel of Prosperity, she created our golden paradise, the very sand bending to her own will. Having great pride in her abilities, her heart was radiant in generosity which took the form of her greed in helping others. It was her actions that made her name forever known throughout history. But even legends like the Champions must come to an end. Though try as they must, the battle in protecting the world is not one that they can continue forever.

Moving to a new image of the same Pegasus who hovers over above a pyramid of gold, giving off a radiant aura while ponies, griffins, canine-beings, and dragons bow before them. Moving on to another image which seems to move, we are shown the Pegasus causing entire buildings to rise from the ground with a wave of their hoof. Again, we move to another image, this one showing the Pegasus sitting upon a throne with a spear in one hoof.

Queen Double Gloucester: But when one chapter ends, another begins. As their time as heroes came to an end, the Soul Jewels of the Champions passed on to other ponies, a new generation of heroes who have the virtues they represent radiant within their hearts. Much as the throne is passed down from one pharaoh to the next, the Soul Jewels pass on to new Champions to carry on the legacy of their predecessors.
It is much the same with you, Auric Heart. Your greed towards helping others and your pride in your talents within your golden heart shines greater than anyone else. It only made sense that the Jewel of Prosperity would go to you as its radiance matches your own.

Moving on to a new image, we are shown the alicorn, the two unicorns, and the butterfly-winged pegasus from before with the alicorn and the unicorn wielding the sword facing the right while the wizard unicorn and the pegasus facing the left, each having another pony standing in front of each of them as the each give something to them. The alicorn gives a unicorn the white heart they had, the unicorn in front of the sword wielder is given the sword, the wizard gives the eye to a small unicorn, and the Pegasus hands their staff to another with wings like theirs.

We again move to another image, this one showing the Pegasus who sat on the throne passing on their helmet to another Pegasus in front of them. After a moment, the triangle on the helm begins to shine, filling the scene with golden light.

Queen Double Gloucester: Though you were born a commoner, the golden Light of Prosperity within you earned you the Soul Jewel that shines with the same light, making you the next Champion to carry on the legacy of Radiant Gold as you outshine us all. As her successor, you shall use this power to fight for the prosperity of others and all those that you hold dear.

After the light fades away, we are then shown the blue Pegasus stallion from before, now dressed with the bronze circlet along with a white waistcoat, standing amongst the sands of the desert with the sun high in the sky.

When the ground begins to shake, the stallion’s smug smile never leaves his face. After a moment, a giant bronze-colored worm bursts from beneath the sands before looking toward the pony, towering over them. Even after it roared and bared its mouth full of dozens of sharp fangs, the stallion kept on smiling, not even showing an ounce of fear. It was within that moment that the gem on the circlet began to shine, bathing the stallion in a bright golden light.

As light shone over the stallion, the circlet instantly transformed into a golden helmet with a triangular slate on top of the bezel and triangular wings at the sides. While it covered the top and sides of his head, the back of the helmet left a space for his hair to flow out of. Closing his eyes, the stallion remains still as a golden wave of energy rushes over him, changing his coat from blue to brown and his eyebrows from black to white. Three turquoise triangles resided underneath his eyes. In flashes of light, he gains a wide gold and green collar with outwards spikes, a linen skirt with an orange belt, and a pair of golden bracelets on his forehooves. After opening his eyes, he then spreads his wings before they become golden and arc-shaped with a green triangular pattern on the edges. Finally, the hair of his mane and tail change from black to gold, his tail becoming longer while his mane bursts from the back of his helmet. Taking to the sky, the stallion then holds out one hoof as an orb of golden light forms within it. In that instant, the orb then changed, taking on the form of a golden spear with two triangles pointing in the same direction on its ends. After twirling it around a bit, he then poses by using both hooves to hold the spear behind him with it pointing down, completing his transformation.

Queen Double Gloucester: With the Radiant Helm, the very crown worn by our first queen which holds her golden power, your presence shall illuminate the battlefield as golden light shines through you. You shall deliver victory to your fellow Champions as you fight side by side through the many challenges ahead of you for your radiance is nothing short but divine.

With light surrounding him fading, the now-transformed Pegasus stood there with his spear, looking up at the worm with that confident smug he had. As the worm pounces down toward him, almost in a flash, the Pegasus manages to dodge the attack and take to the skies at the same height as the worm which went back underground. When the worm resurfaces to attack the Pegasus, he manages to evade it and fly along its side, managing to leave a large cut on the beast with his spear. Without returning underground, the worm continues to try and bite the Pegasus, each attempt resulting in failure and a new cut on its skin. After six tries, the worm then tried to jump at the Pegasus who had managed to go higher into the sky, the worm now completely out of the ground.

From seeing this, the Pegasus then twirled his spear in his hooves and multiple golden lights appeared around him, those lights then taking the form of spears like his. After a moment with about six spears of light around him, he stopped twirling his own spear to pull it back in one hoof, ready to throw it toward the worm. The second he pulled it back, the head of the spear ignited in a fiery golden aura and the same soon happened to the other spears.

“Feel my divine radiance!” The pony cried out as he threw his spear forward, sending it along with the dozens of light spears towards the worm, those spears rushing forward in streams of light like comets in a night sky.

When the spears make contact with the worm, they all turn into a great explosion. When the smoke is mostly cleared, all that remains is a large crater which the Pegasus lands gracefully beside. With one hoof raised, the spear he threw came out of what remained of the smoke and over to him where he managed to grab hold of the weapon by the pole.

Queen Double Gloucester: It has been a great pleasure to have you as one of my subjects who I consider to be my greatest treasure. Your name shall be remembered for generations, your heroic deeds shall become your legend, and your radiance shall know no bounds as your greed is everlasting! You are the radiant savior of Equis who shall bring the greatest of prosperity to all that bask in your glory. You are the Golden Sovereign!

Stamping the bottom of his staff on the sand beneath him, the Pegasus stands proudly with his wings spread out and the sun gleaming off the tip of his spear.

Cutting back to the room and to the very Pegasus stallion back to his normal self with his white waistcoat, we see him as he uses his hooves to place the circlet on his head.

“You truly are a lady of words, my queen.” The pony said to himself as he admired himself in the mirror. “I will do my best to meet your expectations and shine as bright as I can.” From this, Cleopawtra hopped onto the bureau, the Pegasus smiling at her as he starts petting her and causes her to purr happily. “One of which is always trying to achieve my desires. My greatest desire is to help all the wonderful animals that live in our world and make sure they can live as prosperous as me.” The Pegasus then picks up the cat and holds her close in one foreleg as he continues to pet her, the cat happily accepting the affection. “As the great Golden Sovereign, I will fulfill my greed.”

Hey, everypony! Did you like Auric Heart’s trailer? Quite different from the one for Light Cacao, huh? Well, this is what you have to expect from a dude who grew up in a city full of creatures who have a lot of pride and embrace greed. In case you’re wondering, yes, those canine beings are Diamond Dogs. I bet you didn’t see a city that had more tech you’d find today, did ya?
