If Discord wasn't reformed

"And now to Discord you FOREVER! Won't that be FUN?"

Twilight's friends, the princesses, and the pillars all laid captive by the lord of chaos inside prisons made of cotton candy.

They desperately prayed that Twilight would be able to put an end to this insanity.....

"You won't get away with this!"

Discord turned to the yellow Pegasus that stood up to him.

"Our friend will come back for us, and she is going to kick your butt for being a big dumb meanie!"

"Oh, you're adorable! Makes me wanna pinch your little horsey cheek." Discord stated, as he pinched Fluttershy's cheek like a Grandma would their Grandson.

"But your threats are in vain, Your precious elements are destroyed, the tree of harmony is DEAD. There is nothing, but NOTHING you can do to stop me now! I'm free forever! HAH HA HA!"

"Don't be so sure, Discord."

Discord turned to the direction of the familiar voice, as he saw Tirek, along with Chrysalis and Cozy Glow standing up to him.

"Well isn't, this, INTERESTING?" Discord exclaimed, as he zoomed up close to the legion as his voice boomed across the room.

"My old peons are back for a rematch! You think YOU'VE got what it takes to stop me?!"

"No, I KNOW we do. Because you are just a petty bully who spreads chaos to others just to expose them enough so that they'll LIKE it." Tirek taunted.

"You don't know anything about me! I am an immortal spirit of ancient chaos BEYOND your comprehension!"

"Yet for someone whose lived as long as you, you have yet to grow up and mature over all that time."

"SHUT UP."

"What are you going to do goat head? Rain chocolate milk on my forehead?"

Discord grabbed Tirek by the throat as he stared at him with fury in his eyes.

However, behind them, Chrysalis and Cozy Glow freed Twilight's friends by cutting through the cotton candy with their wings.

"Why are you helping us?" RD asked in confusion.

"Don't get used to it, this is a one time only stop the badder bad guy thing." Chrysalis stated, as they finished cutting the cotton candy.

Eyes grew on the back of Discord's head, and saw the prisoners escaping.

"YOU TRICKED ME!"

Discord threw Tirek at the escaping prisoners, and tried to snap his fingers.

However, Cozy Glow flew around his head, as he begun to sneeze rapidly from her feathers.

"Go get Princess Twilight! We'll keep him distracted as long as we can." Tirek told the ponies, as they rushed to do just that.

The three then approached Discord willing to give him everything they got.

Later.......

"You're here?! I was so worried! Where are the princesses?"

"They're still imprisoned, but just our luck, the villains Discord used took the opportunity to collaborate and free us! Now let's save Equestria! Whoo-hoo! Yeah!"

"They made a terrible mistake, you all did. From the second I got away, I've been searching every book, scroll, and spell for a way to rescue you and stop Discord, but I haven't found anything. I failed."

"You'll come up with something, we can't save Equestria without you."

"You all escaped without my help. You didn't need me then. So why would anypony need me now?"

"We know things look bad, but we've been in tough spots before, and we always-"

"Look around! Nothing we've ever done has mattered! Sombra? Returned and destroyed the tree of harmony! Discord? Returned and more powerful then ever! The school of friendship? DESTROYED! Everypony is so blinded by fear they can't even remember what friendship is! Nothing we do makes any difference!"

"But we're still free and together."

"And it's not like things can get any worse."

Just as RD said that, they heard screeching coming from outside.

"Haven't we learned not to say that by now?"

"We have to do something!"

"I've already done enough."

"You want the truth Twilight? Bad things happen. No matter what you do, there's never gonna be a time when everything's perfect. But that doesn't mean you quit trying!"

"What if I make things worse? Ever since Celestia told me I was taking over, I've been gaining confidence. Then I find out it's all a lie. Equestria's been falling apart around us, and I didn't even notice! What kind of a princess does that make me!? I'm scared."

"I probably know more about being scared then anypony, but thanks to all of you, I've learned I'm always less scared when I'm with my friends."

"If we're facing impossible odds, we're facing them together."

"It's what we always do darling."

"But we're alone, and we have no idea what to do!"

"That's pretty much every time something terrible is happening."

"How can you all be so calm about this?"

"Because even if you don't believe you can do this, we do. We believe in you, in us."

"The truth is, all of our lives wouldn't be the same if we hadn't met. We're better off with friendship because of you. So when you say you haven't made a difference, that's just not true. You've made a big difference to us."

Twilight stared at her friends, now knowing that even when all seems lost, the key is to never give up......

"Thank you...... But we still need a plan."

"That sounds like the pony I used to foal sit for, count us in."

"No. You need to stay here and protect Flurry Heart. If we don't.... If things don't work out, she's Equestria's last hope. Okay, one of our worst villains has taken over, powered up by ancient magic. Everypony is so scared and divided that the Windigos are circling. And it's up to us to fix it all."

"What are we going to do Twilight?"

"The same thing we do every time Pinkie, try to save the world!"

Meanwhile......

Discord finished imprisoning the legion after an intense battle, as he teleported back up to the castle.

There, he saw the Windigos circling Equestria.

'Oh.... I forgot about that.....' Discord cursed to himself, as he saw the ponies outside Canterlot.

"You think he knows we're here?"

A flash of light popped in front of them, as Discord stared at them intensely and crazily.

"I think he has an idea....."

"You are just so FIRM to your ridiculous 'friendship wins all' belief that you can't even realize you've already lost! Are you?"

"You can't beat us if we never give up! As long as I have my friends beside me, I'll put my faith in friend-"

"Heard it, loved it, bored of it."

Discord fired a wave of confetti at the ponies, as they teleported out of the way.

Frustrated, Discord began searching for them.

"We need to get that bell and get the princess's magic back. Rainbow Dash, Pinkie, you're with me."

"Sweet! I'll grab that bell in ten second-"

"No. We're the distraction. They're gonna get the bell."

Discord plucked trees from the ground searching for them.

"Where aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaare you?"

"Here!"

Pinkie Pie, Rainbow Dash, and Twilight Sparkle all rushed at Discord.

He begun zapping at them trying to Discord them but they wouldn't stay still.

"Step right up, test your luck!" Pinkie beckoned dressed as a barker.

Discord tried blasting her, but she kept dodging.

"Missed me!"

ZAP!

"Close, but no cherrychimichanga!"

ZAP!

"Thanks for playing!"

Discord zapped Pinkie's plushie, which began biting her hair.

Nervous, she quickly fled as the Discorded plushie fell to the ground as Discord gave chase.

"Wait a minute, I KNOW WHAT YOU'RE DOING!"

Discord saw Applejack, Rarity, Fluttershy and Spike trying to take away the bell.

He blasted a shot near the ponies plus dragon, causing them to fall back.

He tried taking back the bell, but Rarity tried to grasp it with her magic.

They fought over it in a magic tug of war, until Twilight and Applejack joined as well.

They fought with all their might over the bell, until Discord pulled a cheap shot and a green troll ooga booga'd the heroes, causing them to jump back in shock.

Discord then grabbed the bell as the troll de-manifested, as he pulled the others over to where the rest went.

"It was a valiant effort, I'll give you that. But you still are HELPLESS without your precious elements."

"Even without them, we still stay strong as friends." Twilight stated, as she and the others embraced each other.

Discord tried to resist a vomit, as he fired his magic at the mane seven........

"What happened? Can I open my eyes?"

"Ya sure can!"

The mane seven looked, and saw a magical shield blocking Discord's magic.

"Way to go Twilight!"

"Its not me."

They turned around, and saw an army of everycreature charging at Discord with everything they've got.

The Pegasi swooped around Discord, as he spun his head around trying to keep it attached from his body.

Then, the changelings turned into decoys of the ponies as they circled Discord, confusing him.

The shield was raised above the ground as it floated towards the cliff the army was atop on.

"The changelings won't fool him forever, and I don't know how long the unicorns shield will hold!"

"I don't understand..... How are you all here?...."

"That's kind of our fault...."

"You remember those long boring lectures about friendship you gave at school?"

One flashback montage later.......

"How bout that? It's just like you said the day we opened that school."

"The more creatures who know about friendship, the safer we'll be."

"We TOLD you you had everything we figured out!"

However, a changeling hit the shield.

Twilight turned around, and saw the Pegasi hitting it as well.

Eventually, the unicorns couldn't hold the shield anymore and it collapsed.

Discord snapped his fingers, freezing the entire army attacking him, and tossed them across the field.

Enraged, he flew towards the army as the area around him begun to be infected with chaos.

Until Twilight shot a laser near him, seizing his pursuit.

"ENOUGH! Because of you I almost lost my way! But everycreature here has reminded me of the true power of friendship! There will always be darkness in the world, but there will also be those who find the light! The pillars knew this, that's why they created the elements of harmony."

As Twilight continued her speech, her friends, the princesses, the pillars, and even the legion were teleported from the prison to the mountain where everyone was standing against the lord of chaos.

"The elements showed me and my friends how strong our friendship could be, together we worked to bring harmony to Equestria. But there will always be more work to do, which is why we teach others about the magic of friendship, others who will continue our work after we are gone."

As Twilight continued, the pillars, the young six, and her friends all floated up into the air enchanted with the magic of friendship.

"Now I truly understand! The elements were just symbols, the real magic has always been right here. And the more who understand how powerful friendship is, the stronger we will all be! TOGETHER."

The pillars, the young six, and Twilight's friends then all launched rainbows at her, who unleashed into one big rainbow that banished the windigos.

"Not again......."

The rainbow was then blasted towards Discord and struck him, ridding him of his stolen magic and stripping him of his power as his form grew smaller as the bell fell to the ground.

Twilight and the others landed back to the ground.

However, they only saw the bell after the rainbow had disappeared......

"Umm, where did he go?....." Fluttershy wondered, until they saw movement from underneath the bell.....

It tumbled sideways, and they saw a miniature, slug like Discord with his goat head still attached, but no other limbs other then his serpent body.

"What the-? HUH?! What happened?!" Discord gasped at his new, inferior form with a tiny, high pitched Chipmunk voice.

Pinkie Pie could only laugh at what the spirit of disharmony has become.

"Oh you think this is REAL funny DON'T YOU?! WELL I'LL FIND A WAY TO TURN BACK AND I'LL BE BACK FOR ALL OF YOU! I WILL COME BACK AND YOU'LL ALL BE SOR-"

A giant cupcake fell on Discord.

"What the-?" Twilight wondered what could be causing that.

Until Cozy approached with the bell in hoof.

"Cozy Glow! You took Discord's magic from the bell?!"

"That's right Headmare Twilight!" She then begun to grow larger with a more demonic form as she cackled maniacally.

"NOW I HAVE ALL OF HIS POWER! KNEEL BEFORE MY MIGHT!"

She fired a spell at the ponies, but all it did was fire harmless rubber chickens.

Enraged, she continued firing, but she couldn't control the chaos magic.

Eventually, hungry Pineapples started biting her hair.

"AUGH! TAKE IT BACK, TAKE IT BACK!"

Celestia then grabbed the bell and drained Cozy of the chaos magic, turning her back into a harmless Pegasus filly as she breathed heavily from the experience.

Celestia then absorbed back her magic, and gave Luna and the pillars back they're magic as well.

The princess then confronted the three villains as Tirek and Chrysalis got back from the hill.

"You three have caused trouble over the past few months, but you were used by Discord in all of this. And you did help defend Equestria from his wrath....."

"Golly, what are you going to do with us?....."

The princesses stared at Twilight, as she gave a look of conformation.

"You will each be assigned a different pony to help you reform, hopefully for a couple months."

The three could only groan as guards surrounded them, knowing that they found themselves in a fate worse then death.

Discord then made his way out of the cupcake.

"And as for you...... There isn't a punishment WORTHY of all you've done!"

"Oh, what are you going to do? Turn me back into stone for the THIRD time? You're soooooooo predictable Celestia."

Fluttershy then made her way to the cupcake they were standing near.

"Excuse me your majesties, would it be acceptable if I were to take him in?.... He's just so cute now, I could take real good care of him."

Celestia and Luna stared at each other for a bit, before nodding in agreement.

"Very well then Fluttershy, you may keep him until he eventually shows signs of reformation, maybe then his old form can be restored." Celestia stated, as she grasped the bell with her magic.

"Oh thank you thank you thank you! Come here little Discord, I'll take good care of you."

"Hey! Get your hooves off me! I'm not your pet! I'm the spirit of chaos and disharmony! And you will cower before and fear me!"

"Oh you're so adorable, it makes me wanna pinch your little Draconequus cheek."

Discord could only groan in irritation as Fluttershy begun to cradle him.........

However, he slowly begun to feel a little........ relaxed........ as he slowly fell asleep.........

Everycreature atop the mountain cheered in celebration.

"When I sent you to Ponyville, I had high hopes. When you became princess of friendship, I know I made the right decision. But nothing could prepare me for how proud I am right now. Equestria is definitely in the right hooves. You are ready." Celestia declared, as she and Luna bowed for Twilight.

"You know what? I think I am."
