Suspicion
“AJ! AJ! You’ve got to see this!” Desperately, Apple Bloom rushed over the halls of their school to Applejack with a phone in her hand, raised up so that it was in front of her big sister's face while panting.
Applejack could barely make out what was shown right in front of her as Apple Bloom kept shaking her hand, trying to stay still all the while breathing heavily as if ran a whole football field.
Tired of trying to make sense of what was happening on the phone screen, Applejack grabbed the smartphone and soon everything had made sense.
“What the hay…” Applejack observed as her eyes widened as she read the post.
Did you guys know when AJ was a kid she loved playing with her pigs? OMG! She sat in the mud for hours! Her whole family calls her “Piggly Wiggly” cause she loves them so much! What a pig!
Applejack stares at her phone in disbelief, she was a victim to her old “Piggly Wiggly” nickname that was now posted on MyStable for the whole world to see! Actually, just mostly CHS, though it’s still visible for the whole world.
“How did this even happen!” Applejack baffled.
“Anon A Miss..?” Sunset bewildered as she read the name on top of the post.
A few mockings came from a crowd of schoolmates but none of the girls could identify those who proclaimed them.
“Oink Oink”

“Oink Oink”
“Knock it off!” Sunset said threateningly, facing the them.
“It’s alright Sunset, I can handle a little teasing.” Applejack soothed as she lay a hand on Sunset’s shoulder.
“Me and Sweetie Belle n’ Scootaloo saw the post this morning,” “this ‘Anon A Miss’ girl posted it on everyone’s page here at school!” Apple Bloom noted.
“Are ya sure you didn’t tell anyone about your nickname?” Apple Bloom interrogated, “I’m pretty sure I heard you telling Sunset about it at the sleepover you had last night…” Hinting at and making Sunset a suspect.
“Apple Bloom!” Called out AJ, “You should never assume horrible things like that.” She sternly said. There was no way Sunset, of all people could do something as petty as that, nor could she…
The bell rang and soon everyone scurried off to their respective classrooms, so did Applejack.
AJ’s day was filled with teasing remarks, but that wasn’t what set her in an unpleasant mood. It was her contemplating whether or not Apple Bloom was right. Her head was running in circular motions that everything was slightly a blur, thoughts popping up on her head, the dominating one being “But this happened the night before she told Sunset, it might be her…”
Before she knew it, she was at lunch. She grabbed some grub on her plate prior to sitting at a lunch table with her girl friends.
Sunset wasn’t there yet, she probably got held back for something in class. Fluttershy turned to Rainbow Dash and nudged at her to say something.
“Uh… So… Did you find out who did it?” Rainbow posed, not really expecting anything much of an answer.
“Actually.. I think it was Sunset.” Applejack proclaimed, slightly in a unsure tone.
The group of girls sat at the lunch table stunned, they had never believed their friend would just assume something so preposterous.
Pinkie Pie being the goofball she is, took a large gulp of water and proceeded to spit it out on her left side in the most exaggerated way possible.
“WHAAAAAAT! But Sunset’s our frieeeend!” Pinkie yelped. “You don’t even have that much evidence to prove that she's liable!!!”
Sunset could be seen entering the lunch room in which Applejack had to forcefully put her hand over pink girls mouth while gesturing her head towards Sunset, implying her to stop.
Sunset walked over to the lot of girls and waved. Noticing Applejack was in a sour mood (kinda), she sat next to her specifcally.
“Hey, AJ, are you alright?” Sunset concernedly asked, “I notice that some of the teasing might have gotten to you, wanna talk about it?”
Applejack who was at ease now thought “If Sunset really was Anon A Miss, she wouldn’t care about my feelings like this.”
The country girl let out a sigh, she wasn’t too fazed with the whole ‘Piggly Wiggly’ thing now that she thought about it.
“I’m fine, Sunset.” She let out a reassuring smile.
School was out for the day and the girls were off to Rarity’s place for another slumber party yet. Not much of which Applejack remembered, except for the parts where they found out about Rarity’s ‘Closet of Shame’ and tried on all the silly outfits. Lots of pictures and videos were taken, particularly on Sunset's phone.
Boy, nobody could prepare them for what happened next.
Later that week, Apple Bloom and her friends rushed over to the girls holding out her phone. Applejack, already having been through this ordeal, knew what was to come. Applejack grabbed the phone, though this time it was different, these were the pictures taken at the sleepover at Rarity’s, even more shocking was that these specific photos were onSunsets phone only ! With the caption being:
OMG… what a bunch of dorks! Hahaha
Rarity peered in to see the commotion as all the other girls followed.
“Oh my goodness!” Rarity commented, astounded.
By now, all of the girls had taken out their phones to see it for themselves, not like they didn’t trust the CMC, it just felt.. Unbelieveable.
Apple Bloom took hold of her phone again and gave Applejack a look as if it was telling her “I told you so!”
Applejack stood completely dumbfounded, she trusted Sunset, and that was a huge deal to AJ. To break somebody’s trust all the while deceiving, was… just too cruel.
“Sorry about this sis,” Apple Bloom anxiously voiced as the group of 9th graders walked away through the halls.
“Ah just can’t believe she’d do something like this, even after we forgave her for everything she did in the past…” Applejack uttered, taken aback. She then took a step back and gasped, was their whole friendship based on a… lie?
And just on cue, Sunset walked over to the group while on her phone completely oblivious about the heavy atmosphere that was just laid upon them just a few minutes ago.
“Good morning, guys!” She announced.
Getting confused as to why her friends did not answer, Sunset looked over from her phone to see all 5 girls staring deep into her soul.
“Sunset,” AJ mouthed “Did you lose your phone?”
What a weird question Sunset thought, “No, you could literally see me holding my phone while walking over to you guys,” Sunset panicked a little but giggled “what’s going on?”
“This is what's going on.” AJ declared as she quickly grabbed her own phone to show Sunset what had happened.
While looking at the post, Sunset could feel her stomach drop.
“Woah!… How did she get our pictures?” Sunset added.
“You mean, how did YOUR photos get on her page’” AJ hollered at Sunset leaving her confused.
“How,” Sunset muttered “I had my phone the entire time, how did she even manage t-”
Sunset's sentence was cut short by Applejack.
“Yeah, how did she get those photos?” Applejack noted suspiciously.
“I.. Uhh-” Sunset was now fidgeting with her phone.
“How did she know about my nickname ?! How did she get the photos you had on your phone?!” Applejacked roared.
“I can’t believe how gullible we were, you’re Anon A Miss!”
After that statement the rest of the girls stared in shock and disappointment at Sunset, wondering how she could do something so horrible.
Sunset was wondering how they didn’t have much faith in her and just assumed she was Anon A Miss. Though, given the circumstances, she didn’t blame them.
Everything was set out to seem as if it was Sunset behind the screen all along, no wonder why her friends wouldn’t believe her.
Desperately, she tried in attempts to get her friends to believe her.
“No, wait you guys I didn’t do this!” “I would never dream of wanting to hurt you guys, you’re my friends…” Sunset insisted.
“No you’re not!” Fluttershy cried out “You’re not our friend!”
“No.. I am!” Sunset desperately proclaimed even though her claims were futile, she was now fighting back tears. “I promise! I wouldn’t do this to you guys…”
“This is it Sunset. You’re never going to take advantage of any of us anymore.”
“Please just let me prove myself!” Sunset pleaded.
“I’m sorry, but you did this to us.” AJ asserted. Sunset took a step back and tried to hold back her tears, she knew what was going to happen.
“You can tell whatever rumours or lies you want to make,” Applejack claimed. “but we don’t have to listen .”
And with that, the group of girls walked away from Sunset as she dropped onto the ground bawling her eyes out.
In light of this, Applejack couldn’t help but feel as if something was wrong, why would Sunset be this upset over us dumping her if this is what she wanted to happen.
The walk home was silent other than the sounds of footsteps. As the girls parted ways to their respective homes.
Applejack arrived at her house, she had noticed that Apple Bloom had already returned minutes earlier.
She greeted her with a “Hello,” and received back a “Hey.”
Now that she thought about it, AJ was suspicious, how come it was only her younger sister and her friends reporting the Anon A Miss posts, how was she so quick to know.
And how did she know that Applejack even told Sunset about the full story of her nickname.
Gathering up all the information in her head she decided only now could she conduct her full investigation.
First stop, Apple Blooms phone…

Anon A Miss: The Cutie Mark Caught In The Act
Applejack had to wait until Apple Bloom was in the bathroom taking her daily nightly shower before she headed to bed. AJ had to be real sneaky due to the short window of time.
It wasn't in AJ’s nature to sneak around and spy on others, but she had to do this, it was the only way to know if Sunset was actually behind the screen or if she was being framed.
She crept into Apple Bloom’s room, careful of not gathering the suspicion of her family members (Big Macintosh and Granny Smith). She found Apple Bloom's phone charging on her bedside table, AJ slowly unplugged the charger and dropped the wire to the ground and then quickly seized the opportunity to check what her little sister had been up to.
She scrolled on through some of the apps but most of them were just video games and normal pre-teen stuff, none of which being any cause for suspicion.
She felt guilty. I guess deep down inside, Applejack knew what she was doing was wrong. She should just straight up ask Apple Bloom, there was no need for her to lie since honesty runs in the family, even if you don’t believe in its morals, if you live under the Apple family household, you had to abide by the rules.
AJ plugged Apple Bloom's phone back into her charger, on the bedside table where she found it and afterwards sneaking back out.
Just as when she was about to reach pass through the open exit she was in for a surprise.
Apple Bloom suddenly ambushed at Applejack, causing her to jump and yelp. “What were you doin’ in mah room?”
Quickly, AJ attempted to turn this on Apple Bloom.
“You don't get to ask the questions young missy.” Applejack rapidly proclaimed sternly with her hands on her hip, then later swiftly crossing her arms.
“Yes ah do, it’s MAH room!” Apple Bloom called out. “What were you even doin’ anyway?”
“Ah was…” Applejack was now running out of excuses, until suddenly she remembered that she was supposed to ask her sister about the online profile.
“You don’t happen to know who Anon A Miss is, do ya Apple Bloom..?” Confronted AJ
“Duh! Isn’t it obviously Sunset?” Apple Bloom claimed, with a hint of edginess. “Y’all literally dropped her after finding out.” She was now noticeably fidgeting with her fingers.
“Uh huh…” AJ muttered with doubt. “You better not be lyin’ Apple Bloom. You know how ah and everyone else in this household feels about it.” Applejack stated with her right hand index finger now pointing at Apple Bloom.
“I’m not lyin’ I’m 100% honest, promise!” Apple Bloom voiced with the slightest indication of jumpiness as AJs arm was now returned to her hip position.
“Mm hmm…” Applejack said with a suspicious tone as she walked past Apple Bloom into the hallway towards her bedroom.
“Good night.” AJ added as she walked towards her bedroom and shut the door behind her.
She hopped onto her bed contemplating whether or not she should still continue with her investigation, as Apple Bloom was getting suspicious of her. She then realised what a dumbass suggestion she just made, Sunset was probably framed and if she did not carry on with the experiment… She shuddered at the thought.
Just the thought of Sunset, on the verge of giving up all hope just because her so called “friends” didn’t trust and just assumed she was Anon A Miss was enough to make AJ stick with her plan.
She was determined to find out who was actually running the gossip page, even if it cost her to go to desperate measures.
Next day at school was a blur, most of the things AJ had remembered were the arguments, fights and altercations in the hallways caused by none other than Anon A Miss.
People being shoved into lockers, people shoving and yelling at each other, it was just so messy.
Later during lunch, AJ found it quite awkward around her friends, bearing in mind that they literally just shoved off Sunset due to her being Anon A Miss.
Although they didn't say it, they all admitted to their hearts that it felt as if a part of them was missing since Sunset was dropped. But, given the current situation, it wouldn’t be appropriate to bring Sunset back into their friend group, especially since all the repercussions would be received by the students at CHS.
Though they were all racked with these thoughts, they still stayed silent.
“You guys, I don’t think it’s Sunset.”
Applejack broke the silence.
“What are you talking about?” Rarity gasped. “It was clearly her, if not, then how did all the photos end up on the Anon A Miss page?”
“Yeah, it was obviously her, ” Rainbow exclaimed.
“Nah but, what if someone had framed her to make it seem like the posts were coming from her?” AJ noted. “What if it-”
AJ was stopped by Pinkie Pie.
“Are you really trying to defend her!” “All of the evidence points to her, AJ!”
“Evidence that could’ve been easily planted on Sunset.” Applejack responded. “I think I know who the suspects are!” She proclaimed as she suddenly stood up sprinted outside of the cafeteria doors
The girls each turned to each other and shrugged their shoulders. There's no way it wasn’t Sunset, they all thought.
She searched everywhere and bam, behind the bleachers, a group of the CMCs gathered together with Apple Bloom being the only one with her phone out.
She was showing the other 2 girls about something on her phone and they all giggled amongst themselves as she hushed them.
Though AJ could barely make out what they were murmuring about, she knew that it probably wasn’t about anything wholesome.
Still tryna listen in, Applejack could only make out the certain words; “Sunset”, “Profile”, “Secrets” and “Password’.
AJ, now knowing without questionable doubt. The CMC were running Anon A Miss. With a better understanding, she decided to gather all of her evidence, in her head.
Apple Bloom was the one who knew AJ’s nickname and backstory before she told Sunset. She created the Anon-A-Miss profile and immediately posted about it, accusing Sunset. She probably had one of her cheeky friends download all of Sunset’s pictures onto her own device. Now, they were scheming something big and evil.
But what Applejack couldn’t understand was, why? Why would Apple Bloom try to jeopardise AJ’s friendship with Sunset? This hurt Applejack, so she decided till after school to ask her little sister.
Later that night, AJ walked toward Apple Blooms bedroom door and knocked, entering herself in without permission while leaning her back on the left of her door frame.
“We need to talk.”

“We need to talk.” Applejack asserted, sternly.
Apple Bloom, who was sitting on her bed now slightly shaking, put her phone down on her lap as she saw that AJ was NOT playing with her.
Applejack came over and sat beside her younger sister.
“Are you Anon A Miss?” AJ straight up interrogated, already knowing the answer but giving Apple Bloom a chance to redeem herself by being honest.
Apple Bloom stayed quiet for a moment, she stared into her lap, shaking.
With a couple seconds of silence and a deep breath, she finally spoke.
“You promise you won’t get mad?”
“I can’t promise anything,” AJ replied, softly but assertively. “It depends on how honest you are.”
And with that, Apple Bloom took one large breath.

Applejack could barely comprehend what was just said, but it seemed as if her younger sister had spilled the truth.
“You know, ah’m real proud that you decided to tell the truth, it takes a lot of courage to do so.” AJ conveyed as she put a hand on Apple Bloom's shoulder.
“But ya also know that I’m still really hurt, this means that my girl friends and I just dumped Sunset for no reason .” AJ added while shamefully looking away from her sister's gaze removing the hand from her shoulder then crossed her arms.
The two sat quietly, not facing each other.
“Yer not gonna tell Granny… Are ya?” Apple Bloom nervously said, her voice slowly starting to quiver as she faced her older sister.
“Ah’m afraid I have to Apple Bloom, what you did was really bad and I’m disappointed in you”
Apple Bloom felt her stomach doing backflips, this was the first time her sister had been disappointed in her. She turned away in shame from AJ’s heart wrenching, disappointing, stern look.
“Please.. Don’t tell Granny! She’ll whoop me so bad ah won’t be able to sit for years!” Apple Bloom pleaded.
“I’m sorry Apple Bloom, but my mind has been made up. Either ah tell Granny, or you can.” AJ sternly insisted. “If by tomorrow night she isn’t notified, ah’ll tell her, in full detail too.”
Apple Bloom tried desperately pleading with her big sister but soon realised that she was not budging one inch. She then took in that once she let out the truth, her fate was sealed.
“I also expect you and your friends to confess to Principal Celestia, I guess she’s not going to be happy, and you guys probably won't leave with just a slap on the wrist.” AJ suggested.
“Don’t forget Sunset too, you left her very hurt.” AJ also added. Apple Bloom looked down and her now fidgeting hands.
“Sunset deserves the biggest apology of all. What you did was ruthless and if you felt left out, you could’ve told me.”
Apple Bloom was now fighting tears.
“Listen here sugarcube, once you admit the truth, it’ll be as if a huge chunk of weight lifted off your shoulders. Sure you’ll get a couple spankins’, scoldins’, but mah point being, do you really want to watch everyone you know and love get hurt by your decisions?”
This question left Apple Bloom in an immense pool of guilt, she and her friend’s saw the physical altercations and emotional damage made and left by Apple Bloom's dumb decisions.
It was all supposed to be some little scheme for Applejack and her friends to leave Sunset, but now it’s gone too far.
And with that, AJ stood up, gave her little sister a reassuring nod before leaving the room and closing the door, leaving Apple Bloom in a deep thought.
The next morning was tense, Apple Bloom had barely had a wink of sleep as she knew tomorrow was the day she had to confess. She knew she only had a few hours before she had to confess her crimes, might as well confess now to get a lighter punishment.
The girls completed their usual school morning routine and left to go walk to school. Once they arrived, separated as their lockers were on different floors, AJ gave her sister a thumbs up before leaving to her friends.
As Apple Bloom was at her locker, she suddenly jumped as her little miscreant friends pounced on her gently, yelling a loud “BOO!”
Feeling slightly unfazed, her friends looked at each other then looked at Apple Bloom.
“I confessed the whole Anon A Miss account to Applejack..”
The group of girls let out a huge gasp as they each took out their phones to go on MyStable.
“And ah deleted the profile,” Apple Bloom mumbled as the girls slowly lowered their phones upon hearing this. “Ah’m so sorry I brought you all into this mess.”
“Apple Bloom, this isn’t only your mess, I also wanted to take part in it.” Sweetie Belle comforted putting her arm around.
“Yeah! If you’re getting in trouble, so am I!” Scootaloo added.
Realising how lucky she is to have such friends, she put on a brave face and fixed her slumped posture.
“Applejack says we should confess to Principal Celestia, I figured if I did, our consequences wouldn’t be so bad.”
The other two juveniles gave an agreeing nod as they began their walk to the principal's office.
Moments after, they left the office, one of them still sniffling with dried tear streaks on her face.
“Sweetie Belle, it’s only a 6 months of after school detention, it’s not like we got suspended or expelled.” Scootaloo remarked as she put an arm around Sweetie.
Sweetie sniffed quietly then put on a warm smile.
“Yeah, It’s just that she sounded so disappointed at us, I couldn’t help but tear up..”
“You’re right. She was so stern and it seemed as if she didn’t want to look at us.” Apple Bloom added, softly. “Glad to know that she still forgave us at the end.”
And with that opening statement, the three girls had just realised how long they were in the principal's office for as the bell went for hometime.
Principal Celestia had mentioned calling their guardians to report to them about the misdemeanour the girls were in, so they braced themselves for when they arrived home.
The walk home was filled with nervous chatter from the girls. It soon abruptly stopped as the three had to walk their separate ways, all of them bidding farewell and good luck, Apple Bloom needed it.
She watched the scenery, each passing with a trembling step. She didn’t need to tell Granny as Principal Celestia had already called to inform her. Silence reigned from the young girl as she grew increasingly worried of the multiple scenarios that played in her head. She shuddered at every thought.
At last what felt like an eternity, she had arrived home. She was nervous to bump into Granny on her way to her room so she had to devise a plan.
She was gonna climb up her window into her room so that she wouldn’t be caught by her grandmother.
The plan went successful at the start as she found a tall ladder leading up to her bedroom window which was strangely open, though she didn’t think much of it as she had bigger things to worry about.
As she climbed the ladder to her window, her stomach dropped at the sight that was presented in front of her. Granny was in her room, sitting on her granddaughters bed, giving Apple Bloom the stare that basically read: “I was expecting you”
Apparently, Apple Bloom had made such a mistake, walking past the big window that was placed on the wall from the kitchen, allowing Granny to watch her walk to the side of the house as she grabbed a ladder from the shed. Thus, giving her enough time to surprise her in her very own bedroom.
Apple Bloom almost fell off the ladder at the sight of her grandmother, but luckily she caught herself.
She got through the window shamefully and then shut it close, trying to avoid her grandma's stare.
“Apple Bloom, sit by me for a moment.” She commanded in a soft tone.
Apple Bloom obeyed, thinking Granny would go lighter on her punishment if she did as she hopped on the bed, to Granny’s right side.
“Look, Granny.. Ah’m so sorry, it was a stupid idea.”
She was now fighting back tears.
“Child,” Granny rubbed her emotionally unstable granddaughter's back. “Why in tarnation didn’t you tell me? You should know better than to keep stuff from me.”
Apple Bloom slowly started to calm down due to her grandmother's caring nature.
“Ah was too scared, I thought you would’ve been really mad at me and given me a spanking.”
Granny Smith looked fixedly at Apple Bloom.
“Yer darn right ah’ll give you a lickin’! What you did child was mighty wrong, also not to mention illegal.”
Apple Bloom’s heart dropped when she heard that last word. She didn’t mean for it to be illegal.
Granny, now noticing the shocked expression on her face, reassured her that Principal Celestia and the other victims weren't going to drop any charges.
Subsequently, Granny got up and left towards the door, turning back to look at her granddaughter's face.
“Ah’ll call you over to the living room in a couple of hours, use this time to think about what you did wrong.” She sternly mentioned before closing the door.
Apple Bloom, calmed with the realisation that if she was gonna get her hide tanned, she would wanna get it from someone who cares deeply about her, this thought made her smile a bit.
After two or three hours of dreaded waiting, she heard her name being called from downstairs, causing her blood to run cold.
She came down the stairs into the living room and stopped dead in her tracks.
There sitting down in the living room, Applejack, Granny, surprisingly Sweetie and Scoots and the person sitting next to Applejack on a couch was.. Sunset herself.
Immediately her face turned beet red in shame, and so she hung her head low, avoiding contact with the person she hurt the most.
Granny, who was sitting on a wooden chair from the dining room with a menacing looking paddle in her right hand.
Realising that she was going to be spanked in front of them, she pleaded and begged her grandmother to spare her the humiliation and to let her receive her punishment in private, but the pudgy woman refused to nudge. Apple Bloom, accepting her fate, decided to just let this unpleasantness over with as she noticed Granny was getting more sour.
“Apple Bloom, before we start, do ya have anything to say to Sunset?” Granny Smith asked, pointing the paddle toward Sunset.
Apple Bloom had prepared this apology during her time in her bedroom, not actually knowing she would be forced to use it now.
“Uh, yes,” The young girl took a deep breath. “Ah’m so sorry Sunset for making it seem as if you were Anon A Miss, it was very cruel and ah’m very sorry.”
Sunset’s eyes widened slightly and she gave a heart warming smile.
“I forgive you, Apple Bloom, thanks for the apology.”
Granny nodded in approval as she then softly held onto her granddaughter's hand, drawing Apple Bloom in closer, standing in front of her.
Apple Bloom knew what was to come as she could feel Grannys hands undo the younger girl's belt then proceed to pull her pants down toward her knees as she let out a small, quiet whimper.
The poor girl was now being guided into position, Granny had used her left arm to wrap around her waist so that she couldn’t squirm or fall off.
“Ah want you to think to yerself, what landed you in this undignified position, over my lap?”
And with that query, Granny brought up the paddle and aimed it at the young girl's bottom, suddenly a loud SMACK echoed through the room, Apple Bloom had yelped due to the sudden movement and stinging.
The girl was tough, but Granny knew she was gonna cry a whole river by the time she was done.
Granny’s paddle was already making an impact as the girl's bottom was starting to turn a light shade of pink.
Apple Bloom wouldn’t stop squirming now as she tried to alleviate the pain, which made it difficult for Granny to lay out her smacks.
“That's it, stand up.” Granny sternly ordered.
Confused as to what's happening but knew she was in for something bad, she stood up and Granny did not waste a second pulling down the young girl's undies to her knees.
Her eyes widened in disbelief, as the elder grabbed her wrist and yanked her back into position, continuing with the punishment.
The girl noticed that the spanking was hurting a lot more since her underwear had left with her jeans. It seems she may have taken them for granted.
Her face turned a shade of red as she could feel everyone's eyes on the room staring at her red bare butt.
By the time of the twentieth whack, Apple Bloom burst into tears and aware of this, Granny decided to slow the punishment down.
"This hurts me more than it hurts you, youngin."
Apple Bloom was now kicking and squirming a lot more than earlier to escape from her grandmother's grasp, causing Granny to tighten her grip around her waist letting her granddaughter know her attempts were futile.
“Apple Bloom if ya don't stop yer ratchet kicking and squirming, ah’m gon’ have to use the belt.” She added two loud smacks along with the order.
The girl immediately stopped upon hearing those words with tears still streaming down her face.
“Ah’m so sorryyy!! Please forgive me!” Apple Bloom wailed and pleaded “Ah learnt my lesson, ah’ll neva ever do it again!!”
“Ya darn right you won’t do it again!” Granny said threateningly.
In a desperate attempt, she flung her right hand over in a pitiful effort to help her hurting backside. Granny paused the spanking and let go of her grip on her waist then turned to Apple Bloom's wrist, pinning it to her back, firmly but gently then continuing with the instrument of her misfortune.
Her friends looked on in horror as they flinched every time the paddle was brought down to their friends' rosy pink bottom, but sure glad that they wouldn't have to suffer such an awful fate like their friend.
The next few minutes were hell for Apple Bloom, as she gave up trying to escape and just laid limp over her grandmother's lap, bawling her eyes out.
She had also given up counting each whack, so now she was praying that she was close to finishing.
Sunset, AJ and Apple Bloom's two girl friends all couldn't hold back the urge to flinch every time she screeched.
After what seemed like an eternity, Granny finally put the paddle down, it was finally over for the young girl.
Granny had released the harsh grip on her wrist then pulled her in for a hug as she was clearly shaken up about the whole ordeal.
“Ah'm so sorry everyone…” She let out a soft, quiet cry as she sniffled.
Apple Bloom sat on her grandmother's lap, her shirt being wet with tears as Apple Bloom couldn’t stop herself.
Granny rubbed her granddaughter’s back soothingly, “Shh.. Shhh..” she comforted. “It’s over now.”
Apple Bloom was soon soothed into soft sniffles as she no longer had any tears to cry with. She got up from sitting on her grandmother's lap in a self hug.
Granny got up and led Apple Bloom to a corner of the living room, her rear end exposing her shame to the entire room.
Usually, whenever someone was being punished, Granny would put the wooden chair back to the dining room, however she sat back down.
“You know why I got yer guardians to drop yalls off here?”
The two girls looked at eachother, actually, they thought they came because they had to witness their dear friend's punishment.
“To scold us?” Scootaloo uttered meekly, confused.
Suddenly they tensed up. What if they had to suffer the same consequences as Apple Bloom, their hearts raced at the thought and they started fidgeting nervously.
What had they gotten themselves into..?

I stayed up at night writing most of this and wrote the rest in class

They hung their heads down in shame, they knew what was coming for them.
Sunset was visibly uncomfortable with the events being shown right before her very eyes before Applejack gave her a look as if it said:
They put you through so much pain, the least you could do was watch them take their punishment.
“Ah had gotten permission from each of yalls guardians about yalls recent stunts, and needless to say, they’re as disappointed as ah am. Ah had gotten the permission ah needed to execute this punishment.”
Granny Smith looked at both of the girls, deciding which one should go first. She then met Sweetie Belles’ gaze.
“Come on Sweetie Belle, yer up.”
Both of the girls moved up their heads rapidly to face the elder woman.
“Me?!” Sweetie nervously replied standing up. “Uh.. I didn’t have much involvement in this..” She quietly mumbled as her legs trembled.
The pudgy woman could make out what she said as she still sustained her good hearing at her old age.
“Yer were the one who snuck onto Sunsets’ phone to download all 'em’ pictures from the sleepover.” Granny proclaimed. “Did ya not?”
“Uhm.. Yes..” The nervous girl uttered shamefully, knowing she had a point.
“Don’t ya worry ya little head youngin,” Granny reassured, “I won’t go as hard with you as I did with Apple Bloom.” She said as she turned in her chair towards her granddaughter who was still quietly sniffling in the corner.
Sweetie shakily walked over to Granny and she gently held her wrist then bent her over her knee.
She pulled up her skirt, gently of course so as to not startle the young girl.
“Sweetie Belle, I’ll let you hold on to yer dignity and not pull down yer undies as yer not a member of the Apple family.” Granny disclosed, resting her hand on Sweetie's pantied bottom.
Sweetie gulped, feeling as if she was going to cry before they had even gotten started, had already resigned to her fate and decided to just let this unpleasantness over with.
Granny picked up the paddle and began.
The first swat was delivered leaving Sweetie by surprise as she let out a hiss of startled pain. About five swats later, she had completely lost her composure. She was breaking down into sobs as her rear end was now turning a light shade of crimson.
Scootaloo watched in horror as her friend tried to escape the grasps of the pudgy woman, squirming and trying to find any sort of way to alleviate the pain as a swat . She was sick to her stomach and felt strong sympathy for her two friends.
The room echoed in the sounds of a weeping girl and the horrible instrument of misfortune, leaving the others flinching at every sound.
The final punitive smacks were administered across Sweetie’s tender rump. And immediately, she seeked the comfort of her disciplinarian as Granny wrapped the young girl up in a warm embrace, audibly sobbing and hiccuping.
After a few minutes of comfort, Granny gently helped the youngin up to her feet and led her up to a different corner of the room pinning her skirt up to her top and sat back down on the chair, patting her lap as an indication of Scootaloo’s upcoming torment.
Knowing she was next, she started literally shaking in her boots. Her aunts or parents had never raised a hand at her when she did something bad, she didn’t know how to feel or do, but seeing the reaction of her friends, she knew it was bad.
Granny was now growing inpatient waiting for the young girl to get up from her seat.
“Youngin.. Don’t make me get ya, ah promise it won't be pretty.” She announced, threateningly.
Scoots pulled herself together, she had to take it like a champ, what if Rainbow Dash saw her as a chicken, she was not a chicken, though deep inside, she was still scared as hell.
She sighed and got up, she wasn’t gonna cry as a baby, I mean, how bad could it possibly hurt?
She walked over to her doom and pulled her own pants down, laying herself over Granny’s lap, following by example by the past two victims. She noticed how comforting the position was and thought it would make up for the harsh nature of the spanking.
Her friends were just being babies, probably cried just so they could get out of the punishment quickly enough, she thought as she let out a little chuckle, forgetting Granny’s great sense of hearing.
She held up the paddle, steadily aiming it at the girls' sit spots. Sunset and Applejack could barely watch.
Already she was thinking, how bad could this probably b-
*WHACK*
“OWW!!”
That led Scootaloo to surprise, how could she be so wrong and cocky about this.
The swats were evenly spaced out, giving Scoot the opportunity to feel each of them fully before continuing.
Sunset looked on knowing that they all deserved their punishments, but felt empathetic towards them.
And with every smack, Scoots tried desperately not to cry and only let out pained groans, her rump was now a light shade of burgundy. She attempted and struggled to make absolutely no movement, not letting her true vulnerability come to light.
But just like all of the other girls who’ve gone before her, she started to slowly crack. Granny’s paddle had NOTHING on Scoots. By the twenty-second whack, she had snapped, the pain had become unbearable for the young girl as she started violently kicking her legs making an effort to diminish the agony, Granny’s gasp around the young girl's waist only grew stronger and her attempts were to no avail.
“Ah’ve told Apple Bloom to stop that darn kickin’ and look what happened,” Granny noted in an annoying tone then pointed the paddle towards a now more calmed down Apple Bloom. “She got extra discipline, do ya want that too Scootaloo?” She said in a stern voice.
“Nuh..uh..” Scoots replied, almost submissive-like. The throbbing pain in her rear end was horrible and she didn’t want to think about extra punishment being added due to her insensible actions, so she struggled to keep still.
She was still imagining Rainbow, watching over her thinking of her as a little crybaby.
After the thirtieth smack, it was over. Scootaloo swiftly got up and hugged Granny in need of comforting.
She probably had been comforted the longest since this had been her first time experiencing such a thing. She wondered why her aunts would consent to this, maybe they’ve gone through it before, nonetheless it was one of the worst pain she’d ever experienced and she would be doing anything in her power to avoid such an ordeal ever again.
After nine minutes of soothing words and gentle hugs, she was led up from the chair and taken to a different corner, her rear end exposed to the room, still stinging from the assault of the paddle.
Granny put the menacing paddle back into a drawer and Applejack offered to bring the chair back to the dining room and came back sitting next to Sunset on the couch. After fifteen intense minutes, the girls were called back to the elder lady (who is now sitting on the couch left from Sunset) from each of their corners after letting them fix up their clothes. Their eyes were red and puffy and faces streaked with dried tears from the constant crying and Scoots was still hiccuping.
They were immediately brought into a tight hug, all three of them including Granny Smith.
They were brought out of the hug and the three girls lined up side by side.
“Now girls, do yalls have anything to say to Sunset n’ Applejack?”
The girls looked at each other and they both said their apologies at the same time.
“We’re really sorry, Sunset and Applejack, we hope you can forgive us..”
Sunset and AJ turned to look at eachother, they turned back to the girls and stood up, smiling warmly before gathering them up in a big group hug.
Granny is seen holding her heart at the bittersweet moment.
They were released from the hug and Sunset kept reassuring them.
“Girls, I forgive you, you may have hurt my feelings deeply, but you showed remorse for them, that's what truly matters.”
Granny soon then chimed in. “This betta not repeat itself or else the consequences will be dire, might even get the police involved.” She threatened. “Yalls should know better about the dangers of the gosh darn internet, once you post something, it’s there forever.”
“Yes Granny Smith.” The girls said at the same time, nodding their heads in agreement as they both took a seat, wincing at the slight pain.
“Good. Apple Bloom, bid goodbye to yer friends and then head to yer room while I’ll call for their guardians to come collect theym.”
“Bye girls, ah’ll see yalls a school tomorrow.” Apple Bloom stated, exchanging hugs with her friends before sprinting up to her room.
Scoot's aunts had come to pick her up first, leaving Sweetie Belle awkwardly checking her watch unnecessarily to avoid eye contact with the elder lady.
Sunset had left as she needed to catch a good night's rest for school tomorrow morning.
Sweetie’s mother, Cookie Crumbles, had arrived, guessing by the sounds of her car pulling up, slamming the car door, Sweetie also guessed that she was not looking happy, undeniably. Cookie walked onto the front porch and Applejack let her in.
“Hi mum…” Sweetie nervously said waving unconfidently, knowing that was not an appropriate move.
“Don’t you ‘hi mum’ me young missy, I know what you did and just let you know, your punishment doesn’t end here.” Cookie snapped. “I’m taking away your phone, and I’m only going to let you use your laptop for school purposes only, full stop.”
Sweetie didn’t even try to argue her way out of it, she knew she deserved it.
“Granny Smith, I’m sorry for all the trouble this little miscreant caused, don’t ya worry, she’s in for a rude awakening, this one, when she arrives home.” Cookie reassured.
“It really was not any trouble, youngins like her need to be put in their place from time to time.” Granny replied.
“Just wait until your father hears about this missy.” Cookie threatened as she grabbed her daughter's wrist, harshly, pulling her outside the front door and then eventually letting go as she entered the driver's seat hand on the wheel as she waited for the young girl to enter into the passenger seat and drove off.
This horrible night was finally over.

Epilogue: Lesson Learned, Trust Earned
The following morning was a cold and snowy one. The girls had met each other on the steps near the entrance of their school. After they exchanged their ‘hellos’, it was quiet for the three, except for the sounds of students chattering as they walked up through the school's entrance.
“Yall, ah literally got my phone taken away, plus, ah’m grounded for three weeks.” Apple Bloom said, breaking the awkward silence.
“You think that's bad!? I literally got scolded for like an hour straight, grounded, and my phone was also taken away!” Scootaloo said trying to one up Apple Bloom.
They both turned to Sweetie awaiting a response from her.
“Oh! Well I guess I got my phone taken and I can only use my laptop for school purposes, nothing too extreme.” Sweetie shrugged off.
“Oh.” The girls said before looking down, Scoots was now kicking a small pebble on the ground.
“I guess we should apologise to Applejacks friends,” Apple Bloom stated. “We really hurt their feelings.”
They all nodded yeah and then walked into the entrance of CHS, walking through the halls towards the group of seniors.
“Hey squirts,” Rainbow proclaimed as she turned towards the freshmen, “Heard you’ve got something to say to us.”
The girls hesitated.
“Well darlings, we’re waiting..” Rarity declared, impatient while crossing her arms.
“TICK TOCK TICK TOCK” Pinkie Pie said, being ‘Pinkie Pie’.
“Well, we wanted to say that..” The younger girls looked at eachother. “We’re sorry.”
The older girls turned their backs and talked amongst themselves in a whisper and then shortly after turned towards the youngins.
“We accept you guys’s apologies.” Fluttershy spoke up.
“Yeah, we forgive yalls, though we're still pretty miffed.” Applejack stated as she pulled them up in a big hug.
“GROUP HUG!!!” Pinkie yelled as she joined in as well. Soon they were all in a hug and hadn’t even noticed that the school bell had rung.
Rainbow pulled herself away from the hug. “Oh shoot! I have P.E, my teachers gonna kill me if I’m late, see ya laters!” She yelled as she scrambled through the halls to the gymnasium after the girls waved goodbye.
“Ah guess me and the girls should head on to class as well, Mr. Cranky Doodle hates it when we’re late.” Apple Bloom added brushing a stray lock from her face.
The girls turned back and interlocked their arms and skipped to their respective class, sharing a giggle.
Finally, the tension had worn off and a sense of relief hung in the air around them. The peace had been restored between the groups of the two girls.
Back to Applejack and her friends, they were just glad the girls had admitted their wrong and apologised. It takes a lot of courage to do that.
She turned towards Sunset and gave her a lil side hug.
“It’s crazy, if ah had’nt done this investigation, we woulda neva known it wasn’t ya.”
“I’d be really heartbroken,” Sunset replied as she also put her arm around AJ. “Glad to know we caught the miscreants responsible for this whole mess.” She chuckled to herself.
The girls walked over to their lockers and grabbed their stuff for the first period then scurried off to their classes.
CHS was now peaceful (slightly) after the Anon A Miss account was taken down. There were barely any fights or arguments, though the CMC were still not forgiven by everyone, at least they atoned for their sins.
The CMC noticed some of the dirty glares of some of the students shooting daggers, but they moved on so they let it not get to them.
“I-I know we apologised, but why do people still look at us as if we’re still those troublemakers?” Sweet choked meekly.
“Just give it time, they’ll trust us soon enough, what we did was pretty mean.” Scoots replied. “We can’t just expect them to forgive us instantly.”
The girls' un-interlocked arms then took a deep breath before opening the door to their classroom and as soon as they did, the majority of the class turned their heads and shot daggers at them.
They sighed sadly and sat in their assigned seats, trying to ignore the heavy atmosphere as Mr. Cranky Doodle continued with the lesson. It was about cyber safety. Everybody eyed the CMC once more as the group lowered their heads in shame as the lesson was directed towards them.
The girls then learned the dangers of the web. What's posted on the internet, stays on the internet. Whatever they post, they can't retrieve it, before you know it, they’re being saved into hard drives or ‘whatever computer stuff this generation is on’, Mr. Cranky Doodles words, not mine, hehe.
When people post hurtful things, it can cause depression, bullying, anxiety and sewerslide.
Posting unsensible stuff like that could even prevent you from having a good future/job since most employers do background checks, so… be careful on the net!
