Chapter 17: Hero's Death

Sorry for taking this down for a day- we had some trouble with putting Peter into cardiac arrest, so we made some modifications. How do you like aortic ruptures?

“…And then he told me that he had sex with Luna.” Fluttershy finished recalling what Peter had recently told her.

“HE SAID WHAT!?!” Twilight, Rainbow Dash, Pinkie Pie, and Rarity all cried in unison.

“He said Luna raped him.” Rarity fainted, and the room entered a deep silence.

“Well… hun,” Applejack was the first to speak. “Theres a big difrencetween sex n rape. If he was tellin the truth…” Applejack trailed off.

“Peter wouldn`t lie to me.” Fluttershy replied sternly.

“I… I cant believe this.” Twilight was dumbfounded. “Princess Luna wouldnt do that to anypony. But… why would Peter lie about something like that? I think that maybe he just made up the part about her forcing him into it.”

“OOOOHH! OOOOHH! I know what we should do!” Pinkie exclaimed. “We should TOTALLY have the Princess come over and tell us all about what happened! There could be punch, cake, and-“

“Or we could just send Princess Celestia a letter.” Twilight interrupted. “Here, let me write one asking Princess Luna to explain EXACTLY what happened.” She took a piece of paper and a pen from the kitchen and began scribbling down a message.

While Twilight was writing the letter, Dash asked, “Hey, where is Peter, anyways?” Her expression darkened. “I want to give him a piece of my mind…”

“I-I guess he`s still outside in the car.” Fluttershy replied meekly.

“Well, what r we waitn for? Lets go an talk to `im!” Applejack, with Rainbow and Pinkie in close pursuit, ran for the front door, only to be stopped in their tracks when Applejack abruptly halted.

“What`s your deal, Applejack?” Rainbow demanded.

“Theres an ambulance next t Peter’s car.” She stated, pointing in the direction of the car.

“What’s going on?” Fluttershy squeezed by Applejack and darted towards the paramedics. Right as she was going to reach them, they lifted a stretcher where Peter was hooked up to an oxygen tank.

“W-WHAT HAPPENED!?!” Applejack, Rainbow Dash, Pinkie, and Fluttershy all cried in unison. Rarity, who had just woken up, fainted again. Twilight popped her head out the window and gasped at the scene.

“We got a call that this wounded individual was located here. It appears that he was stabbed multiple times, and has to be taken to the ER.” One of the paramedics explained to Fluttershy.

“Excuse me, but are you related to him?” The driver asked.

“I-I’m his…ummm… girlfriend…” She chewed on the words.

“Well, we need to get to the hospital ASAP. Feel free to trail us.” He flicked a switch, and the sirens on the ambulance began to shriek before they pulled away towards the hospital, leaving the girls dumbfounded in their dust.

“But I can`t… drive” Fluttershy whispered.

“Ahm gonna call Peters parents” Applejack proclaimed. “They cn pick us up an take us to th` hospital.” She hurried into the house to get the phone.

“Ummm… Let me make a few changes to this letter…” Twilight alleged before adding a PS to the bottom. Shooting a beam of magic at it, she sent the note away in a puff of smoke.

Dear Princess Celestia,

I am writing on the behalf of all of the Elements of Harmony. We have an issue between Peter and Fluttershy, who are an item. Fluttershy claims that during the time Peter spent in Equestria (more specifically, during the night he spent with your sister), he was forced to have sexual intercourse with her. Fluttershy is especially upset over the matter. We know that neither Peter nor Princess Luna would do these things, but we are seeking you and your sister's help on the matter, as well as Princess Luna's clarification on the accusations. Hopefully, we can find a solution before any of this gets out of hand.

PS- we just found Peter severely, maybe fatally, injured with 3 stab wounds. He is being taken to the hospital.

“LUNA!!!” Celestia`s voice rang through Canterlot Castle. “GET OVER HERE”

“What is it, sister?” Luna responded, galloping into her sibling’s bedchambers.

“Look what youve done!” Celestia wailed, telekinetically shoving the letter into Lunas face. “It`s from Twilight and her friends.” The sun goddess glared at her sister.

Luna gulped, and began reading, her eyes growing wider the more she perused. At the PS, Luna gasped, and her eyes began to moisten. “I… I didn`t… how…” Luna fumbled with her words.

"Due to your selfishness and stupidity, not only have you raped someone with a girlfriend, but that same person ended up hurt, most likely because you couldn't control yourself! Not to mention that the Elements of Harmony are heartbroken by your actions!"

"I didn't think th-"

"You're right, Luna!" Celestia raged, cutting her sister off. "You didn't think! For all we know, Peter is dying as we speak, because of you!”

Tears welled in Luna's eyes. "But..." She couldn't take it anymore. With a sob, Luna dashed off to her bedchambers.

The Mane 6, accompanied by Peter`s mom, entered the ER of the hospital. Rarity faints at the sight of the moaning patients, but everyone else pushes onwards towards the front desk.

“Wheres my son?!?!” Peters mother demands to the receptionist.

“Name?”

“Peter! Peter Anderson!”

“He`s in operation room 723 down that hallway.” The receptionist gestured to the right.

"Thank you!" The group dashed towards the said hallway.

“How did he get stabbed?” Peter's mom asked to the ponies as they ran through the hospital.

“We don’t know. Fluttershy won`t tell us anything.” Dash answered.

The group finally made it to Peter's room. A nurse was standing outside the door. “That's my son!” Peter`s mom exclaimed to her. “Please, let me see him!”

“Umm... sure. He should be stabilized. Go ahead in.” The nurse replied. Peter’s mom entered the operation room.

Peter`s mom exited the room with a ghostly expression. “Fluttershy, you can go in now.” Fluttershy’s head perked up as she was addressed.

“I… I don’t think… he would like to see me…” She panted.

“Look, Fluttershy. I want to know what happened, but right now, if theres something that needs to be said, nows your chance to say it.” Twilight said, and then gave her an assuring pat on her back.

“Do you think he’ll listen?” Fluttershy asked her friend.

“I’m sure he will.” Twilight said, giving her a quick hug.

“Well then… Here I go.” Fluttershy announced, standing up and heading towards the room.

“Peter?” Fluttershy called out as she entered. The room was silent, save for the various medical machines.

“F-Fluttershy?” I whispered weakly, and looked up to see her.

“Ummm… Hi, Peter.” Fluttershy greeted with her head lowered. I only nodded in respnce “So, are you… going back home soon?” Her teary eyes glinted with hope, and it melted my heart.

“Come here.” I instructed, pointing towards the chair next to me. “I… need to tell you something.”

“Ummm… me too.” She confessed.“Peter… I`m sorry. I shouldn’t have said those things, nor reacted the way I did.” Her gaze darted to the floor.

“It`s okay… this was all caused by me, anyway. You only reacted normally, and I should have expected it. Nevertheless, I forgive you.” My speech was interrupted by a fit of coughing.

“There`s something you need to know...” I stated weakly.

“What is it?” She uncertainly inquired.

“There is an extremely low chance of me surviving. Apparently, I got stabbed in a major blood vein and have an abdominal aortic aneurism. if I don’t get a liver transplant, it's a matter of a day…” Right after those words left my mouth, she started crying.

“This can’t be! There has to be someone!” She said, burying her face in my chest. I tried to calm her down.

“There`s a long waiting list for one of my blood type, and they have to find a good match, otherwise it won’t work.” I told her, wiping off some tears from her eyes.

“Peter I’m so sorry…” She apologized, then resumed her crying.

“Don’t say that; none of knew this would happen.” I told her.

“W-What do you mean?”

“No one knew from the beginning that you would be sent here, and we didn’t know why, nor could we know how to feel about each other until we had that one fight. You should’ve never come here in the first place- it’s just too dangerous for a pony.” I explained.

“But… what about all those happy moments we had together?” She asked, holding me hard between her hands as if that would prevent losing me.

“I will always treasure them in my heart, even if I di-… Just, no matter what happens, know that I always loved and will love you.” I made sure she was looking at me when I said that- it was true, and came from very deep in my heart.

“I love you too…” She said before kissing me. I will miss this if I do end up dying.

“Fluttershy… if I die, I want you and the girls to go back to Equestria and never come back to this world. Understand?” I pleaded.

“But there's still a chance!” She was about to burst into tears again.

“Hardly. Why lie; do you see that machine?” I gestured towards the heart monitor. “That thing shows my heartbeats. Its slowing down as we speak. There isnt a chance anymore…” This time, it was me who started crying, I finally had the girl that was just right, and I was about to lose her.

“I won’t let you go…” She said, grasping me harder. I couldn’t take it, but I guess as a cartoon character of a show for little girls, death is something way out of the ordinary.

The room entered a deep silence that was interrupted by only the faint sniffles Fluttershy made as she cried onto my chest. Without warning, she began to sing. “You think I’m pretty… without any make-up on…”

“Before you met me… I was alright…. But things were kind of heavy; you brought me to life…” I joined her.

“Let’s go all the way tonight… No regrets, just love… We can dance until we die… You and I… will be young forever.” We both sang before kissing one last time. It was a good way to go out- kissing my girl while cuddling in bed.

As our lips parted, my vision started to fade away. Right before I blacked out, I think I heard a beeping noise…

The princess of the night strode out of her bedchambers, and headed towards her sister's. Entering her sister's room, Luna regained her posture and sucked back her tears.

Addressing Celestia, Luna proclaimed, "You're right. This is my fault." She paused. "And now, I'm going to fix it. Tia, I'm going to Earth."

I think this chapter is sub-par (especially with the Peter-Shy dialogue), but yall kept harassing poor Loaf to pump this out. Sorry if this is of lower quality than normal- I didnt spend as much time as usual on it. Please put any mistakes you see in the comments. Also, another cliffhanger? What is this, Anthropology? Thank you for all of your helpful comments and critique.
