Chapter 19: Time Well Spent

After my little accident I took a lot of caution with some stuff, I didn’t file a police report for my accident since I had no scars or anything to really demonstrate that it happened.

Even after a few weeks I could still feel a bit of pain but a lot of care from Fluttershy’s part made it feel better a lot quicker. Even when I told her I was fine she refused to take my temperature of offer me some sort of remedy.

Overall my life after that bad part of my life went pretty well. I started college and I managed to pass every class in my first semester with good grade.

On the day I got my grades I decided to celebrate with the girls but everypony except for Fluttershy had gone to Equestria for a week but it was actually a pretty good thing to happen since I had wanted to take Fluttershy on a date for some time now.

That evening went quite swell, we had dinner at a really fancy restaurant, the food was well worth the price and I got some time to talk with her about many subjects that I hadn’t really touched with her. Mainly really about her childhood and her parents and
how she felt when she got her cutie mark.

Thanksgiving came around and was surprised that they didn’t have an equivalent holiday in Equestria, but that didn’t stop us from celebrating it. We planned a party at the house, well; it was Pinkie who did all the planning after I gave them a brief history lesson about the holiday. We had my family over and even though they didn’t eat meat, they didn’t mind it when my parents showed up with a big cooked turkey.

The only holiday we spent apart and only for a day was Christmas, on the 24th the girls went to Equestria to spend the day celebrating Hearth’s Warming Eve. Around 10 o’clock when I was coming back from my parent’s house since I had spent the day celebrating Christmas eve with them, I came home to find the already there and with dinner ready, Applejack said that since we were like a family we should celebrate the day together, we really didn’t specify which holiday we were celebrating
but I didn’t give it much importance.

I was the last one to go to bed; I stayed up a bit so I could place some gifts under the Christmas tree. Once done I headed towards my room but when I entered I noticed Fluttershy wasn’t in bed, in fact she was nowhere in sight. I simply decided that she was either in somepony’s room or in the bathroom changing. I slipped out of my clothes and into my pajamas. It wasn’t really cold since I had the thermostat on.

I was just finishing settling in the sheets when I saw the bathroom door open and Fluttershy was standing there wearing her
robe, she had a light blush on her face.

“There you are, I was wondering where you were.” I said looking at her as she walked over to the bed.

“I was just washing up.” She said as she stopped at the bedside

“Man that dinner was great. So how was Hearth’s Warming Eve with your family?” I asked as I turned over to see her, she took off the robe and got into bed.

“It was wonderful, I got to spend time talking with my parents about you.” She said, to my surprise this was the first time I hear her say that she mentioned me to her parents.

“Really? What’d they say?” I asked intrigued to know about their opinion.

“They said you sound like a nice guy, and that they would like to meet you sometime.” That was good to hear.

“Well I would like to meet them too.” I said.

“Peter… There is something I want to give you…” She said blushing.

“Huh? What is it?” I asked.

“Call it a Christmas present.” She answered.

“Present? What kind of present?” I asked, but as soon as I ended my question she locked her lips with mine in a kiss. I had no idea what was going on, it wasn’t until she moved herself on top of me that the whole event was starting to sink into my head.

“Are you sure you’re ready?” I asked her, her face at this point looked so sweet.

“Yes, I’m sure.” She said, after that we pretty much started doing it. As much as I would’ve wanted this to be my first time, it still felt great and I could feel the love between the act, something that I didn’t feel when I did it with Luna.

That Christmas night I got the best present in my life. A gift so well given with love that I sure hope I returned it with the same amount of love. All the experiences so far in my life, especially in these last two years leading up to the events of this night made me realize that I was in fact in a position a lot of bronies would’ve envied to have. It made me realize of how lucky I was to be chosen to have the mane six live in my life.

The next morning I woke up early and in a good mood, Fluttershy was huddled up next to me in a fetal position, I made sure to not wake her when I got up. I bumped into Twilight when I was exiting the room.

“Good morning Twilight.” I said facing her.

“Peter! Thank Celestia you’re awake.” She answered turning around.

“Huh? Are you going somewhere?” I asked her, she seemed to be in a bit of a rush.

“Yeah, we totally forgot we had some business to attend in Ponyville.” She said hurrying out of the other girl’s rooms.

“Okay, want me to wake Fluttershy then?” I asked about to open the door.

“No, it really doesn’t involve her, as far as I know. It’s mainly personal business of each of us but since Fluttershy didn’t say anything last night when I asked her there is no need to.” She finished explaining.

“Well at least open your presents before you girls leave.” I said. Its Christmas morning and I didn’t want them to miss out on the fun part of it.

“We’d love to but there is no time, we’ve should’ve been in Ponyville by now.” Twilight said coming out of Pinkie’s room.

“Well that’s a shame. I guess I’ll see you girls in a while.” They had all exited their rooms and were all standing in the hallway waiting for Twilight to do her spell.

“Don’t worry; we’ll be back in a few days!” Pinkie assured me.

“Okay then, take care.” I said waving goodbye and in a few seconds they were gone. I looked back into the room to see if Fluttershy was still asleep and indeed she was.

I headed downstairs to the kitchen and started to prepare some breakfast. It took me a brief second to think of what to make. I decided to make the same breakfast I made two years ago when she first arrived, pancakes and scrambled eggs.

While I made breakfast I started to remember everything that has happened in the last two years. All the time before that night on which Fluttershy appeared that I had wished for ponies to be one day real.

I laughed at all the times I had to help her out with simple things like working the TV or the stove and the oven. Of all the time we were almost caught in the movie theater.

Who would’ve known that she would become my girlfriend? Out of everything that single thought brought a tear of joy to my face. Even after everything I thought Fluttershy; she managed to teach me the joy of love and caring for others and their feelings. Even after two years I know that I’ll be teaching Fluttershy for a while about certain things but that I have all the time in the world to do so. This last statement brought another tear to my eye.

“Peter, are you okay?” Fluttershy asked, I turned to face her with a big smile on my face and the tear running down my cheek.

“I'm okay, in fact, everything is just perfect.”
