Rainbow Dash arrived at Princess Luna's personal chambers. A couple of hours ago, Twilight had summoned the rainbow maned Pegasus.

"What's so urgent that you had to send Sunset to find me?" Rainbow Dash had asked her purple unicorn friend.

"Well, it seems Moondancer came by with a message for me to tell you to head for Princess Luna's personal chambers. Apparently, Princess Luna is summoning you specifically." Twilight said.

"Isn't Spike the one who usually gets these royal messages?" Rainbow Dash asked.

"That's for Princess Celestia, Princess Luna is tied to my dragonfire like Princess Celestia yet." Spike said.

"It's something to do with a spell Princess Celestia put on Spike to allow for quick message sending." Twilight said.

"Well, why couldn't Ray have gotten the message then?" Rainbow Dash asked.

"Because Princess Celestia only put the spell on Spike." Twilight noted.

"...Okay fair enough..." Rainbow Dash said.

That had been the end of that conversation, so here Rainbow Dash was, sitting in Princess Luna's office.

Meanwhile in Goug, a familiar Bangaa was now in the Slums of Goug, and he approuched a Moogle Theif that had been there for a while. "Hey, aren't you Mazool, former Lieutenant in the Knight's Order?" The Moogle thief asked. "Guess you decided that you wanted to beat up on some lowly thieves to try and earn favor back."

"I was hoping you would know something about that Zalmeno moogle. I'm trying to dig up dirt on him." Mazool said.

"Don't know much about him. I saw him wearing this old looking Animist outfit as he headed up to the Flying District from here. I didn't see him again for three whole weeks. The next time I saw him after that, was when he was accompanying Gareth & Cinnamon. Cinnamon managed to find out from one of the merchants that you took a bribe once to overlook the fact that a thief stole something from a rival shop." The moogle thief said.

"Wait, so your saying it's Cinnamon's fault I got kicked out? And not Zalmeno's?!" Mazool was frustrated.

"Pretty much. That was the last time I saw him before the other day when you and your buddies were harrasing Zalmeno. That's all I know, I swear." The Moogle Thief said.

"So you know nothing about Zalmeno's past? Nothing at all?!" Mazool was now even more frustrated. All that asking, and what did he have to show for it?

"Wish I could say more, but dude is an enigma. He most likely got that old animist outfit from his uncle or something. Strange thing is, before he showed up, I remember this one Moogle Thief known as Malzone went out of the city and never returned. I'm willing to bet Red Hawk killed Malzone." The Moogle Thief said.

"Whose Red Hawk?" Mazool asked. "I've never heard of a clan of that name, let alone a person."

"That's because Red Hawk isn't a person, their a Chocobo. A red one that's super ultra strong. Red Hawk has this posse of Yellow Chocobos with him, the majority of them female, and they pray on a lot of us Moogles if we're alone too far outside Goug's City Limits." The Moogle Thief said. "No one here in the slums even bothers to try and slay Red Hawk, and those in the Flying District don't bother trying to hire anyone to deal with them. Far as the upper class who live in the Flying District are concerned, Red Hawk is more of a threat to the slums then it is to the Flying District, and most of those aristocrats don't care what happens down here, so long as it's legal or doesn't threaten their status."

"...Well, that's just not going to fly for very long. As of today, you're working for me. And your first job, is going to be helping me find something in Zalmeno's past I can use to show that nobody who the real big man of the hour is." Mazool said.

Back in Canterlot, Princess Luna arrived in her chambers. "Rainbow Dash, your early. I wasn't expecting you for another few hours at best." The lunar princess said.

"Well, I tend to be very quick." Rainbow Dash said.

"I suppose since your here now, I may as well talk with you." Princess Luna said. "After all, it concerns your future."

"What about my future?" Rainbow Dash asked.

"Tell me, do you know how long it takes for one to even get into the Wonderbolts? I know you're interested in them, because while I am no longer Nightmare Moon, I do share memories with her. Part of that, is knowing about the Wonderbolts, how they operate, and the fake Shadowbolts that were created to try and sway your loyalty." Princess Luna said.

"I know you're one of the royal sisters and all; and I respect that, I really do; but is there a point to telling me all this?" Rainbow Dash asked. Princess Luna, surprisingly, giggled. "Did I say something funny?" The Pegasus asked.

"Forgive me, it's just been so long since I last spoke with a pony who so openly spoke their mind, that I couldn't help but find the fact you weren't afraid to hurry things along amusing." Princess Luna said. Rainbow Dash just stared. "Right, to the point it is then: The reason why I wanted to talk with you, is because I wish to make you an offer. Shortly after the Grand Galloping Gala, I have plans on creating the Shadowbolts for real. Now, I know when I was Nightmare Moon I promised you the captain position but..."

"You don't need to say anymore. So long as you aren't asking me to leave my friends, and you want me to earn my way into the Shadowbolts; even if that means I won't be captain; that's fine by me. I prefer earning things anyways." Rainbow Dash said.

"Well spoken, Rainbow Dash. It appears my instincts were right about you and the kind of Pony I took you for being." Princess Luna said. "We shall talk again at the Grand Galloping Gala. And speaking of, I managed to convince my sister to give tickets to you and all your friends. However, for you specifically, I asked her to also include for you, the ability to bring one pony from Ponyville of your choosing."

Rainbow Dash's eyes went wide. "That's...actually perfect. Thanks for that. You've done me a solid you have no idea I needed doing." She said and then rushed out of the room.

"...Just as I expected. This is a mare of action, not publicity..." Princess Luna said. "Sister...how could you have let the Wonderbolts get the way they are now?"
