My Little Pony: When Friendship Shimmers - Rewriting Fate

A few days later after Twilight & her friends got their tickets for the grand galloping gala (with Rainbow Dash getting her special plus one guest ticket), Pinkie Pie and Rainbow Dash did a bit of a prank fest around Ponyville towards their friends. Funnily enough, their friends did get a bit of a kick out of it. The only one of the main six who got spared from the pranking was Fluttershy. And that was thanks in part to the yellow pegasus being at home with all her animals.

Well, all her animals, and a particular guest: Marina, Alli's older sister. Rainbow and Pinkie Pie had been eavesdropping on a conversation and considered it rude to prank Fluttershy & Marina while they were having a conversation. And a serious one at that.

"I really have to give Valarie respect for raising my sister. And heck, Valarie even went so far as to consider me a daughter too. Compared to my actual mother, Valarie is the mom I should have had." Marina said.

"So, who is the biological mother of you and Alli anyways?" Fluttershy asked.

"Her name is Dilerance. She's been locked up in a special cell at Dark Castle. Dark Castle being the palace at Digital Capital where Alli and I live." Marina said.

"And from what I understood, Digital Capital is in the Digital World correct? I'd love to swing by for a visit." Fluttershy said.

"That might be a real possibility, as Alli is working with both Princess Luna and Princess Celestia on a way that will allow ponies to come visit the Digital World." Marina said. "Equees is so similar in wave length to the digital world, that you'll probably see a few digimon randomly pop in form time to time."

"I just hope there aren't any dragons..." Fluttershy said.

"Don't worry, some digimon may look scary, but I can only think of one digimon who is outright evil." Marina said. "That digimon being my own mother, and like I said, she's in a special cell."

"Is it wise to put her in jail?" Fluttershy asked.

"It's part of this deal Dilerance struck with Alli: In exchange for handing over authority of Digital Capital and agreeing to never antagonize Alli ever again; Dilerance would be put into a special cell and Alli has to visit Dilerance on a specific day once a year." Marina explained.

"I...suppose that's a fair trade." Fluttershy said.

"Sounds fair on paper if you ask me, because as part of the deal, Dilerance got to choose the day Alli has to go visit mom on." Marina said.

"Well, it can't be that bad. What day did Dilerance even choose?" Fluttershy asked. Marina then motioned for Fluttershy to lean towards the Black Gatomon, and after Fluttershy did so, Marina whispered into Fluttershy's ear. Even though Rainbow Dash & Pinkie never heard what Marina told Fluttershy, they could tell from Fluttershy's reaction that it wasn't a good thing. "Th-that's so terrible. If Pinkie Pie found out..." Fluttershy said.

"Only five individuals even know about that tidbit: Me, Alli, Valarie, Lars, and Dilerance." Marina said. "Alli likes to keep track of who exactly knows about that tidbit, so you need to promise it doesn't get back to the party focused mare. I fear the poor dear wouldn't be able to handle the news."

"O-of course. I understand." Fluttershy said.

The duo of pranksters soon left after that. "What do you think is so secretive about the date Dilerance chose for the meet-up date that Alli feels the need to keep such information on a tight lesh?" Rainbow Dash asked.

"I don't know, but dang, she's been good to keep such a thing from me. Heck, I wasn't even able to find out when her birthday is. A lot of information about Alli's personal info is more well-hidden than my emergency cupcake stashes." Pinkie Pie said.

"...Why do you have emergency cupcake stashes exactly?" Rainbow Dash asked.

"When I need a cupcake, that is an emergency~" Pinkie Pie said.

The following day was when Rainbow Dash's old friend Gilda the Griffon showed up. And after they did so, they went about messing with Pinkie Pie a little too much for Pinkie Pie's liking. So, Pinkie Pie began to secretly spy on Gilda, when the griffon came about on Fluttershy who was with Marina. Gilda started getting her mean on, but before Pinkie Pie could formulate anything, Rainbow Dash came up, Gilda changed her tune a little. But after Rainbow Dash left, Gilda went back to her usual mean self.

Pinkie Pie was already forming up a plan to expose Gilda, however she noticed a look on Marina's face, at which point the Black Gatomon got between Gilda and Fluttershy. "Got a lot a nerve doing what you're doing. You and me, are going to have a private conversation." Marina said and led Gilda a ways away from Ponyville. Pinkie Pie followed to see what was going down, only to get shocked at what followed.

"You think you can intimidate me, punk?" Gilda asked.

"Don't have to. I'm sure my little sis wouldn't mind I'm pulling from my past to teach the likes of you a little lesson in what ponies call 'humality'." Marina said. "My sister, however, would consider what I'm about to do to you torture, considering she went through the same things you're about to, only ten times worse."

"You think you can scare me? Your bluffing." Gilda said.

"...Pinkie Pie, I know you're watching this. If you value your innocence, I suggest getting back into town." Marina said. Pinkie Pie jumped literally and decided to do just that. Clearly, she had a feeling, whatever Marina was about to do, wasn't something she'd want to see.

Sometime later, Gilda had decided she'd rather go back to Griffonstone, and Marina even divolged Gilda's true nature to Rainbow Dash. "I can't believe she would be that mean behind my back to my new friends." Rainbow Dash said.

"Don't worry, I tought her a little lesson in humality. Safe to say, she won't be trying that again soon. Don't worry, I didn't do to her anything she couldn't handle." Marina said.

"What did you do to Gilda exactly?" Twilight asked.

"Trust me Twilight Sparkle, it's better you don't know." Marina said. "For the sake of your innocence, I hope you never have to know."

"...I'll take your word for it..." Twilight said.
