The following three months held no special importance outside of Sunset Shimmer doing her best to be there for Twilight. Even going so far as to help Twilight with magic. There was one time, Sunset said that she was part of Princess Celestia's School for gifted Unicorns, which did intrigue Twilight a little, as she was eager to learn magic. It wasn't long after that when Twilight started calling Sunset her BSBFF or "Big Sister Best Friend Forever" despite the two not being related at all.

As the days went by, Sunset knew that the Summer Sun Celebration was coming soon. "Hey LSBFF, got something for you." Sunset said the day before the Summer Sun Celebration was to begin.

"Oh! Is it a new magic book?" Twilight asked.

"Something even better. I was able to reserve you a spot for the big event tomorrow." Sunset said, handing over a ticket stub.

"What's going on tomorrow?" Twilight asked.

"I'd tell you, but trust me, it's going to be worth the surprise. Let's just say, you're going to witness something amazing." Sunset said with a wink.

"Must be something super special if you won't spoil it." Twilight said.

"Isn't tomorrow the Summer Sun Celebration?" Velvet asked.

"Summer what now?" Twilight asked.

"Velvet, let your child experience the wonder for herself; don't spoil her~" Sunset said.

Velvet couldn't help but giggle. "Well, alright; but only because you have your reasons~"

The very next day was when Twilight would be witness to Princess Celestia's public display of magic which left Twilight in awe. As such, the young unicorn wanted to get into the Princess's school for gifted unicorns as soon as possible.

However, the day of the Summer Sun Celebration, said festivities weren't the only event happening on that day. For in Goug in the home of The Great Moogle Elder whose name is Mog, Mog was sitting on a higher elevation with a clothless Malzone in front of him.

"You have come far in your lessons, kupo." Mog said.

"Thank you, kupo." Malzone said.

"The fact you have come as far as you have, kupo; well it proves to me you are ready, kupopo." Mog said.

"Thank you, kupo." Malzone said.

"Now, one last thing remains, kupo." Mog said before he stood. "Do you agree to keep within you the heart that you've grown here under my tutalge?" He asked.

"I do, kupo." Malzone said.

"Then rise and accept your new Animist Jacket, kupo." Mog said. Malzone stood and put on an animist jacket; a brand new one Mog personally crafted for the former thief. "I now hearby cristen you with the new identity of Zalmeno the Animist, kupopo!" Mog stated. The newly minted Zal opened his eyes, and one could just tell the difference: They shone with a brand new brightness, one that showed that he had matured into someone new. It was at that moment a title card appeared.

Then the title card burned away, only to be replaced by a brand new one.

Zalmeno looked determined as he spoke. "Thank you for everything elder." Zalmeno said.

"Your dream is closer to your reach now, kupopo; all you need now is the right opportunity, kupo." Mog said.

"I'll make sure I make good on any opportunity I see, kupo." Zalmeno said. "I only have one question, kupopo."

"You need only ask, kupopo." Mog said.

"What do you plan to do with my old identity, kupo?" Zalmeno asked.

"I plan on sitting on that information for a while, kupo. Someone is bound to ask about Malzone in the future, and that information is something I would only trade for information about the Knight's Order, kupo. I have been suspecting corruption within their ranks for some time now you see; I want to know if my suspicions are correct, kupo." Mog explained.

"I hope not, kupo." Zalmeno said. "After all, getting on the good side of the Knight's Order is the only way I can become a Moogle Knight, kupo."

"I didn't say to stop following your dream kupo." Mog said. "I am simply telling you to be careful about the branch you encounter, kupo."

Nodding in understanding, Zalmeno then left the house of The Great Moogle Elder.

The following day in Canterlot, Sunset approuched the house of Twilight's family.

"Sunset? What are you doing here?" Velvet asked. "I honestly wasn't expecting you today; after all, doesn't your mom get out of the hospital today?"

"She does, but her recovery won't end after that." Sunset said. "That being said, she'd understand me prioritizing Twilight right now, as I've got something just for her."

"Really? Is it a new book?" Twilight asked.

"Nope, something even better~" Sunset said.

"Why am I having a serious case of Deja Vu?" Velvet asked. That's when Sunset revealed she had an acceptance letter directed by the Princess herself.

"Wow, I didn't expect the application process to go that fast." Night Light said.

"I may have pulled a few strings. Especially because technically, Twilight would be a late application. But, I've pulled some strings and managed to get her in on the early tests." Sunset said.

"What's so special about the early tests?" Shining Armor asked; as even he didn't know.

"The early tests are about displaying your current feats of magic. And knowing Twilight, that'd be more her speed then the written exams which are the late tests." Sunset said.

"Oh my gosh! H-how long before the tests start?" Twilight asked.

"You'll have about one week. But don't worry; I plan on using that week to teach you a personal favorite spell of mine~" Sunset said. "The very same spell I used when I got into the Princess's school."

"Oh wow; it must be something super special then~" Twilight said.

"You could say that~" Sunset said.
