The following week saw Sunset training Twilight in the spell Sunset promised. It actually only took Twilight three days to get the spell down pat.

"Wow, you're a natural." Sunset said. "That spell took me a week to master, and here you are mastering it in three days."

"I guess I just have a really great BSBFF!" Twilight stated.

"I seriously can't take all the credit for this; you deserve some credit yourself." Sunset said.

"So, are there any other spells you can show me?" Twilight asked.

"There are, but I should save those for another time." Sunset said. "Even if you've managed the cast the spell once, you need to make sure you can do it constantly."

"Sounds fair." Twilight said. "That way, I don't forget it."

"That's the spirit." Sunset said.

The week continued to go by, and the day of Twilight's exam was upon the world of Equees. Twilight would proceed to try the spell on a dragon egg, though it would not work. This caused the purple filly to start using other spells in an effort to hatch the dragon egg.

At this same time, Zalmeno was walking in the forests not too far from where Goug was located, only to discover a group of species wearing a specific kind of clothing. "Th-the knights order, Kupo." Zalmeno said. He then noticed they were fighting some kind of giant chicken-like monster that was wearing them down and fast. "They ain't going to last much longer if I don't do something, kupo." Zalmeon then used an animist ability to summon a Chocobo Stampede on the giant chicken-like monster.

"An Animist? Here?" One of the members that was a lizard-like entity said.

"I won't let some monster get the best of the Knight's Order, kupo!" Zalmeno shouted.

"Interesting..." A strange looking pig-like being said. "Let's see what this Animist can do." They added.

During the battle that ensued, Zalmeno did recognize all the species present in this group of the Knight's Order. The one that just spoke last was known as a Seeq. The lizard-like entity was a Bangaa. There was also a Gria and she was a Raptor. One of the members was a Moogle Knight, and the only other notable member there was the Nu Mou that was a Scholar.

Still, Zalmeno did not question why a Scholar was with this part of the Knight's Order, so the Animist continued to contribute to the fight, though the giant chicken-like monster still had the upper hand.

Meanwhile, Twilight was beginning to lose all hope in hatching the dragon's egg; not realizing that the test was designed to judge how upcoming students deal with failure. Just as she began to be downcasted, a large rainbow explostion happened, making her magic surge out of control. Sunset, who was there with Twilight's parents, shielded Velvet and Night Light from the magical surge which not only caused the dragon egg to hatch, but it also caused the resulting dragon to become massive enough to break through the ceiling, as well as making the judges get turned into objects.

But this was not the only result of this Rainbow Explosion as all across the planet of Equees, this rainbow explosion was effecting the lives of five other ponies; one a rock farmer, one a fashionista in training, one a farmer in Manhatten, one that was surrounded by animals, and the cause of the rainbow explosion winning a race because of it.

It also effected Zalmeno, who had picked up the sword the Moogle Knight had lost during the fight, and rushed at the Giant Chicken Monster, and as he did so, the rainbow explosion supercharged the sword so that when it struck the Giant Chicken Monster, the Chicken Monster was too wounded to continue the battle so it fled.

But the most damming thing this rainbow explosion did, was that it caused a crystal that was flying through the skies of Equees to split in two, and one half of it landed within the streets of Goug, only to be found by a familiar female moogle who was very interested in the crystal. The other half of this crystal would land high in the mountains far away from any civilization that currently existed in Equees.

Meanwhile, Twilight's magical surge was brought under control thanks to Princess Celestia, who also managed to restore the judges back to normal. It was there that the Princess revealed to Twilight her new cutie mark, as well as deciding to make Twilight Sparkle her second personal student.

"Wait, whose the other personal student?" Twilgiht asked.

"Well I honestly didn't want to say anything...cat's out of the bag now..." Sunset said.

"Sunset?" Twilight was confused.

"I wanted you to like me for who I am." Sunset said.

"...I was right before: You really are the best BSBFF ever~" Twilight said. The ponies all began laughing, sans the judges who just decided to leave the room.

Before anyone says in the comments that I spelled Seeq incorrectly, I didn't; in FFTA2, Seeq is indeed spelled without a "u" thus making it the only english term that ignores the "never wright 'q' without 'u'" rule.
