Celestia’s scroll: We’re not accepting blacklist.

Raze: I will make the best cake!

Raze: I will ask for an apology even though there’s guards stand in my way.

Spear: Why you didn’t attack them?

Raze: I’m a changed colt.

Celestia: This is going to be a private conversation…between both of us.

In the Canterlot castle, Princess Luna and Rarity looks at Twilight that had been walking around in worries. It has been a few hours since Celestia lowers the sun and Luna raised the moon.

Princess Luna looked towards Rarity, “Why Twilight is acting like that?”

“Oh, Princess Luna, you don’t understand how worried was Twilight when we heard that Raze would be banished. Are you and your sister is going to banish Raze?” Rarity asks in worries.

“Banish…Raze? We never talk about that topic. Even though I would love to do that since thou Raze had attacked us.” Luna replied.

“Princess Luna, Raze is a changed colt, you can believe in him. There is no way that Raze would turn into his old self. He had truly changed your majesty.” Rarity replied.

“But I don’t think so. Raze can turn against our back anytime. We just don’t know when. What I believe is it will happen.” Luna replied.

“Princess Luna, I don’t think-”

Creak…the door of the throne room was opened and Celestia walked in without Raze following from behind. Twilight fall out and start to drop a tear.

“Twilight, we need to talk.” Celestia speaks up.

“WHY, CELESTIA?! WHY YOU HAVE TO BANISH HIM?!” Twilight scream in agony as she teleported in front of Celestia. Celestia didn’t reply. She walks past her and stand on her throne right away while looking at Twilight.

“Celestia…answer me!” Twilight shouted in anger. It was a few minutes of silence.

Celestia finally speak up, “Don’t worry, Twilight. You will see it later.”

“See what?!” Twilight shouted. Suddenly, Raze came in with a cake on his face. That makes Twilight, Luna and Rarity to shock. Behind the cake icing, Raze make an annoyed face but from the outside, it look like that he’s making a sad face.

“How could you?!” Twilight said while look towards Celestia in hatred.

Celestia realize what Twilight was thinking, “Twilight, it’s not something you think-”

“HOW DARE YOU DO THAT TOWARDS RAZE WHEN HE TRIED HIS BEST TO APOLOGIES?!” Twilight shouted. Suddenly, a black silhouette starts forming around Twilight. That widened the eyes the four ponies.

“Twilight, calm down, this is not what you think it is!” Celestia shouted as she starts flying.

“HOW CAN I CALM DOWN?! I THOUGHT YOU’RE THE EXAMPLE OF YOU PUPIL CELESTIA! BUT YOU’RE JUST A FRAUD!” after the last word, the black aura wrapped Twilight’s body.

“Oh no…I didn’t expect it will turn out like this!” Celestia shouted in worry.

“You should Celestia. You have failed your student. There’s no more Twilight Sparkle…it’s now…MIDNIGHT SPARKLE! *evil laughs*” said Midnight Sparkle.

“MIDNIGHT SPARKLE?!” Luna, Celestia and Rarity shouts in unison.

Raze removed the icing from his face, “Actually, who is…Midnight Sparkle? I don’t think I have that note in my log.” Raze said while looking at his log.

“I’m the bringer of eternal dark Friendship!” Midnight Sparkle voice echoes.

“Erm, okay. That slogan is a bit…cliché. Not gonna lie.” Raze replied.

Suddenly, the scary atmosphere changed into stupid atmosphere.

“What you mean cliché?” Midnight Sparkle reply in anger.

“Well…DayBreaker the bringer of eternal daylight…Nightmare Moon the bringer of eternal night…HeartBreaker the bringer of Overly Love and you? You’re the bringer of…dark friendship? Can’t you find a better slogan? Please, seriously, that is the worst slogan I’ve ever heard.”

“So what? You want like what? The Friendship Monster?” she replied.

Are you dumb? Friendship is not a monster!” Raze replied.

After a few silence, she finally gets an idea.

“I’m Midnight Sparkle, the Friendship Ender, the relationship destroyer!” she shouted.

“You’re not-ugh whatever.” Raze give up.

“HAHAHAHAHAHA THE FRIENDSHIP WILL GONE, AND HATE WILL RENOWN!” she shouted.

Celestia, Luna and Rarity were speechless. They don’t know what to do and clueless. Is this the end of the Equestria?

Suddenly, Raze stepped ahead, “Not until I stopped you.”

She looked at Raze with a sinister smile, “What you can do to stop me?”

Raze smirked, “With the magic of friendship.”

“*mocking laugh* what you’re gonna do? Hug me?” she replied.

“To be honest, you look pretty.” Raze suddenly compliment.

“Excuse me?” She startled. The other looked towards Raze in disbelief.

“Not gonna lie, even your evil side make you look cute!” Raze didn’t hesitate.

‘What the hay this colt is trying about? Flirting with a devil?’ Celestia said in her thought.

“What in the sweet Moon you’re doing?!” Luna shouted.

Raze ignored, “Listen, no matter how evil you are, I bet there is one colt saying that you’re cute with that wing.”

She was speechless. She asked, “Who do you think will say that?”

Raze gave her a warm smile, “You look cute with that wing.”

“WHAT?!” the other shout in disbelief, which Rarity shout the strongest. That makes Midnight to freeze. Suddenly Raze teleported right in front of Twilight and give her a warm hug.

“But you don’t need that wing, you’re perfect the way you before.” Raze says. He continued, “Please, don’t succumb into the darkness, Twilight. Your friends need you.”

Suddenly, Raze body starts to glow and emits a strong flash that blinds everyone that watching. As it gone, Twilight was back to normal with Raze still glowing and hugging her. As they landed, Raze let out the hug but the glow still going. When the other gets closer, they felt a strong positive energy coming from Raze. It felt like happiness was coming from him. Raze in the other hand, he filled with hope and determination. He never felt so happy and determined in his life that he wants the same feeling to spread.

Celestia gets close to Raze, “What…is this feeling?”

“Yeah, it feels like…I’m refreshed! I feel so happy! I’ve never been this happy since I was a filly!” Luna added more.

“Raze, what did you just do?” Celestia asks towards the colt that still glowing.

Raze gave her a warm smile and replied, “Just sharing my happiness, ma’am.”

“Ma’am?” Twilight asks in confusion.

“Uhh…” Raze touched his back mane. “So…it’s all just a misunderstanding, alright? It goes like this.”

A few hours earlier, Raze was brought into a room where Celestia resides.

Raze try to stand properly, but with the bruises and wound he got, he keep falling to the ground and coughing a little blood. But it don’t stop him from speaking, “So, what you’re going to do next? Banish me to the moon? Go ahead. I’m ready.”

Celestia turned around and speak, “Take a seat. You can’t stand long enough in your condition.” She summoned a cushioned pillow.

Raze was confused but he take a seat anyways. He look at Celestia, “So, are you going to banish me or what?”

“Banish you? For what?” Celestia replied.

“Hey, I had caused enough problems around you know?” Raze replied.

“Yes you did. But I already forgive you. Don’t you ask for forgiveness before? So I already forgive you. I teleported you here so we could have a longer conversation.” Celestia replied.

“So…no banishment?” Raze asks.

“What? You want to get banished? I can do that.” Celestia replied, joking with the colt.

“No thanks, I didn’t order Bancakes.” Raze delivered a pun, trying to reply to the princess of Sun. Celestia turns around and giggled, “Not a bad one.”

“You two.” Raze replied. Both mare and colt laughed. Raze continued, “I never knew you are chill like that.”

“I’m maybe a princess, but that doesn’t mean I’m not a totally a prankster.” Celestia replied.

“Wow, anyway…do you want to try the cake I-uhhh….bake with Pinkie?” Raze asked.

“Sure, how about we share that with the other?” Celestia replied.

“Sure! Come on let’s see what they’re doing.” Raze replied.

Both of them leave the room, going towards the throne room which leaded by Celestia.

On their way to the throne room, Celestia and Raze had a little chat.

“So…does your sister forgive me?” Raze asked towards Celestia.

“My sister is still angry with you a little bit, but it seems after you sacrificed yourself a few days ago, she might be a little grateful with you.” Celestia replied.

“How about…Princess Cadance?” Raze asks again.

“About her…I don’t know. She hasn’t contacted us since the time Twilight trying to release you from the stone.” Celestia replied.

“Wait…Twilight did what?” Raze asks.

“She tried everything to release you from the stone imprisonment.” Celestia calmly replied.

“That…was amazing.” Raze was amazed by Twilight determination. Suddenly, he felt funny in his body.

“Hmmph…what is this feeling?” Raze thinking out loud.

“Hmph…? What’s wrong?” Celestia asked.

“Oh nothing, something felt funny in my body.” Raze replied.

Celestia finally eyed on Raze cutie mark. Raze cutie mark has gained her attention.

“How do you have that phoenix cutie mark?” Celestia asks.

“Well…I just gained it after I save my orphanage I got my cutie mark as the same time I ascended as an alicorn.” Raze replied.

“Wait, you ascended…just like that?” Celestia ask to her surprise.

“Well…yeah. I don’t know how and why.” Raze replied.

“Hmph, I think I’ve got an idea for you but for now, let’s hold it for a while.” Celestia replied.

As they arrived in front of the door, Raze told Celestia something, “Hey, you go first, after you go to the throne, I’ll come inside. Don’t answer anything until I came in.”

“That’s a great idea.” Celestia said. “I’ll go first!” Celestia continued. As Celestia entered, Raze peeped through the small gaps to see Twilight’s reaction. He giggled after the reaction, as Raze about to enter the door he slipped and landed his face into the cake.

He stands up and start giving a little thought, ‘How the heck I slipped?! There must be a coincidence. You know what, forget about it. I’ll walk in, urgh.’

Raze walks in the room without thinking what would happen next.

“So you’re saying that…it’s all just a misunderstanding?” Twilight asks.

Both alicorn nodded.

“Oh…” Twilight replied. Raze turned around to see Luna. He walked up to her, “Princess Luna? Can we have a talk for a second?”

Luna looked at him with a poker face, “What is it?”

“I just want to ask for an apology for what happened earlier during the celebration. Do you forgive me?” Raze looked at Luna with a concern in his face.

Luna just stared his face coldly. She replied, “Meet me tonight.” Luna said before leaving Raze with the others.

“Well, Raze, it’s your chance to ask for an apologies.” Celestia looked at Raze.

Raze just let out a loud gulp, what is going to happen in his dream? Only he and Luna would know.

On their way to PonyVille, Twilight, Rarity and Raze were walking together.

“What a day isn’t it?” Raze bring out a topic so it’s not an awkward walk of silence.

“Yeah, it was such a weird day.” Rarity replied.

“Yeah, I agree.” Twilight replied.

Another silence walks between. Rarity looked

Raze on her left and asked, “So…Raze darling. Why are you flirting Twilight earlier?”

That make Twilight’s eye to widen. She looked at Raze immediately.

Raze squinted his eyes, not looking at them. He replied, “Well…I don’t know what to say…”

Rarity side eyed Twilight with a mischievous smile, “Oooh…don’t know what to say I see…”

“Well…” Raze fluster a bit, causing Twilight fluster. Rarity smiled and had her eyes slowly widened.

“I just followed the instruction in the book that I’ve told you before.” Raze said calmly.

“Huh…?” Rarity smile immediately turn into a poker face. Twilight also have the same face with her fluster quickly gone.

“What book exactly…?” Twilight asks.

Raze replied, “Just the book that titled ‘How to Be a Good Coltfriend’. Haven’t I told you both before?”

Suddenly, it’s all make sense for both Twilight and Rarity.

‘Of course...it’s all make sense now…” Twilight and Rarity thought in unison.

“What exactly it says in that book? I mean the way you calmed Twilight down.” Rarity asked.

“Hmm if I remembered…” Raze look into the sky while walking.

A few days before…

Raze was sitting in the library before find the old diary. He was reading the same book they told them.

“‘Colt #101: If your marefriend are sad because they’re having a bad day, compliment her so she will have a better day!’…hmm…what a great advice honestly…” Raze says while reading the book.

“You’ve got to be serious.” Twilight looked at Raze in disbelief.

“What? Do I look like I’m joking right now?” Raze replied.

Rarity looked at Twilight and whispered, “This colt needs a serious help.”

“Eeyup.” Twilight replied.

Another silence rings out once again. Slowly, the atmosphere is getting awkward. They didn’t have any more topics to talk, making both Twilight and Rarity felt awkward.

Raze finally speak up, “I wonder if she will forgive me.”

Both mares look towards Raze. Twilight replied, “Come on, Raze. Don’t worry, if Celestia forgive you, how come Luna won’t?”

“I don’t know…it felt like she would say anything trying to deny that I’m still a villian.” Raze replied.

“Trust me, she won’t.” Twilight replied.

“Well…thanks Twilight.” Raze replied. Raze added, “I hope I didn’t get cursed to sleep forever. *chuckles*”

“Raze, don’t say it like that!” Twilight replied.

He just laughed, bringing irritation to Twilight. However, Rarity in the middle gave Twilight a mischievous.

“*laugh* don’t worry! It won’t happen! Why you acting like that? *laughing*” Raze replied.

“I’m worried alright? You’re my second student after Starlight. I don’t want my student to get curse because they’re apologizing!” Twilight replied.

“Yeah…of course you are, darling.” Rarity interrupted.

“Anyway, Rarity, the dress you made, has you able to display them?” Raze asked.

Suddenly Rarity’s eyes widened, “Yes I did. Why do you ask that?”

“Well, that dress is beautiful alright? It will be such a waste if no one bought it.” Raze replied.

“Oh don’t worry, darling. I already display it.” Rarity replied.

“Oh that’s good, by the way why you keep calling your friends…darling? Are you a mom? Because it sounds like you says that like it was a habit.” Raze asks. That causes Rarity to fluster and Twilight to giggle.

“Why did you ask that?” Rarity shouted in embarrassment.

“I don’t know, because you sound like you’re being such a mature and trying so bad to be a good role model.” Raze replied.

“I-I always try to be a role model b-but that doesn’t mean I’m a mother!” Rarity replied while still flustering.

“So…who’s the pearl filly in the picture that I see in your room? She had a light pink and purple mane I think.” Raze replied.

“That’s my little sister Sweetie Belle. I’m older than her because I born earlier than her.” Rarity replied.

“Oh…I thought you’re a single mother…” Raze muttered.

“What did you just say?” Rarity stared Raze in anger.

“Oh nothing, I said uh…a single seller!” Raze give an awkward smile.

“Now, let’s stop debating and let’s get home quick. *yawn* I feel very sleepy.” Twilight replied.

“Speaking of sleep, *yawn* I think I might sleep like a log.” Raze replied.

They finally arrived in PonyVille. They have to walk home because the station was closed.

In the castle, Starlight and Spike were talking in the main hallway when Twilight opened the door with Raze following her from behind.

“Finally were home!” Twilight said in excitement.

“Wait why both of you haven’t go to sleep yet?” Raze asked.

“Why you and Twilight come home so late?” Spike counter-attack.

“Oh, we were talking with the royalty. So…why both of you still wakes up?” Raze asks.

“Were just worried because you guys haven’t arrives for a long time.” Spike replied while touching his scale. He walk up to Raze, “Raze…I…I’m sorry if I’m being harsh to you before. I should believe in you.” Spike offered his hand.

Raze smiled and accepted, “Don’t worry everyone make mistake. I’m also sorry for hurting your sister-in-law.”

“So…we’re cool?” Spike asked.

“More than cool little buddy.” Raze pulled Spike and gave him a hug. He released Spike and speaks up, “Welp see you later! I will teleport straight to the bed. I have to talk with Luna.” Raze said before immediately teleport to his bed.

After Raze left, Starlight looked at Twilight and immediately asked, “So…how’s the date?”

“Excuse me?” Twilight raised her left eye brow.

In Raze’s bedroom, he was lying in the bed; posing like a starfish.

“Why she wants to meet me in the dream? Can’t we just talk right there like a normal conversation?” Raze said while looking into the ceiling. He rolled to the left, “*sigh* Alright then…let’s see what happen.” Raze closed his eyes. He just accepted what is going to happen next whether it’s good or bad.

Raze opened his eyes, he looks around. It was an open field with dandelion. He is sitting under a sakura tree up in the hill while watching a sunset. The wind breeze makes it more comfortable to sit even though it was inside a dream. He lets out a big sigh relieve.

“Easy lucid dreaming…now just to wait her arrived.” Raze sits there while watching the sunset that will never seems to set down. He talked to himself, “What a good sight. Such a shame, that this event is never happened because this place never exists.”

“It does.” A voice came from the sky. Raze looked up, Luna was descending from the sky. She landed right in front of him. Raze stand up and give her a bow.

“Pardon…why did you give me a bow?” Luna looked towards Raze in confusion.

“Urm, I did that because…you’re a royalty?” Raze replied.

“No need such act because you’re also a royalty.” Luna replied.

Raze eyes widened, “How come I?”

“Your position as an alicorn has proven that you’re worthy as a prince.” Luna replied.

“What I’m even capable of? Sleeping and eating? If I’m even a prince, I’m just gonna bring trouble around!”” Raze replied.

“No, you’re more than what you think, Raze. Tell me, how you feel after you successfully saved us from Midnight Sparkle.” Luna asked him.

“Well…I feel happy…I felt…relieved. It feels like I have so much faith and determination. It felt like I can give my emotions; share my happiness to everyone else.” Raze replied while looking at the sunset. Suddenly, a strong calming breeze runs through their mane, giving a relaxing vibes. Luna actually surprised how the dream felt like it was real. Never in her life had she felt someone else dream feel so…relaxing. She looked at Raze that still looking at the sunset. She can feel something is special about him.

“Raze, something is special about you. I don’t know but I feel you will bring the biggest change for Equestria besides Twilight. I feel you also have the ability that no pony had.” Luna replied.

“What ability? I don’t think I had one. Well…except for my combat style.” Raze replied.

“I don’t know, but I sense a huge potential in you. I believe that you are worthy as a prince.” Luna replied.

“How Luna…? How am I worthy as a prince?” Raze replied in sad tone. Slowly, the skies start to turn dark like it’s about to rain. Raze continued, “I don’t even understand friendship value! How am I worthy?!”

Suddenly, thunder starts roaring. That gained Luna’s attention.

“I am not worthy as a prince! Just look what I did to both of you! Your pupils even hate me! I’m…” Raze shouted and slowly lower his tone, “I’m not a prince.” Raze said in a sad tone. Suddenly it starts to rain. Luna used her magic to change the mood of the dream but it didn’t work. That makes Luna to widen her eyes in shock.

‘That’s impossible! How did my magic won’t work in this dream?!’ Luna said in her thought. Then she looked towards Raze once again.

Raze stared her face with a sad face. He speak up, “I bet if I’m a prince, I will get overthrown immediately. Who want a reformed villian become a prince? Are you joking?”

“Raze, believe me, you has a lot potential and I believe you’re worthy as a prince. The only thing you have to do is believe and have a faith.” Luna replied.

“There’s no faith in me Luna!” Raze shouted in anger. The rain scenery immediately changes into doom scenery. The rain stopped and meteor rain occurred instead. Luna looked around in worries, “Raze, don’t let the anger get better of you.”

“I’m not! I’m just frustrated!” Raze replied.

“How about you look what happened around you?” Luna told him. Raze looked around - his face changed from angry into shocked. He didn’t believe his anger would change the scenery of the dream.

“How did this happen?” Raze muttered.

“I don’t know, Raze. My magic can’t even control your dream. Basically, I can control anyone’s dream. But something prevented my magic from controlling your dream. I believe it must be you.” Luna replied.

“How can I do this all by myself? I don’t even have the ability to control dream!” Raze replied.

“That’s what I said. You got the potential, young colt. Just like Twilight, you have to discover your ability all by yourself. We don’t know what it is but it could be useful for the future Equestria.” Luna explained.

“…I guess…so…” Raze look at the meteor. Suddenly when he was looking at Luna one meteor is heading towards Luna.

“LUNA, WATCH OUT!” Raze shouted.

Luna look towards her back; one meteor is already too close to dodge. Raze realizing the danger, immediately leaped towards Luna and pushed her aside, making the meteor hitting Raze.

“RAZE!!!!!!!!!!!!” were the last word from Luna before the meteor hit Raze right in the face.

GASP!

Raze wake up, gasping for air. He looked outside, the sun is already up. He looked towards the clock in the room - it’s 10.00 AM in the morning. He sighed in relieve.

He gets off the bed and start stretching. He starts to think out loud, “Wait, I forgot to ask if she forgives me or not.”

He stops stretching and walks out of the bedroom and heading towards the kitchen. On his way, he met with Spike.

“Hey, Raze! How’s the talk with Princess Luna?” Spike asks as he walks besides Raze.

“It’s terrible, my dude.” Raze replied.

“My dude?” Spike look at Raze in confusion.

“Hey, when there’s a male, there’s a pal. You know what I mean?” Raze replied, giving Spike a smirk.

“Wow, I never thought you were chill like that. I thought you don’t want to talk with me a few seconds ago.” Spike replied.

“Hey, we’re the gentlemen alright? We are the dudes. Argument is always our thing alright?” Raze replied.

“Well…I live around mares so…” Spike can’t continue because he ran out of ideas.

“Oh come on, I know you play Ogre and Oubliettes with Discord and Big Mac.” Raze replied.

“Wait…you play those games?!” Spike replied in excitement.

“I did…well, at least a few moons ago…” Raze being a little melancholic.

“Wow, I bet you already forgot how to play them.” Spike replied.

“Yeah, the only think I remembered that I live with a stray cat.” Raze replied, suddenly changing the topic.

“Wait, a stray cat? You mean Capper?” Spike asks in curiosity.

“What? No, silly! I have this white and gray cat friend back in KlugeTown when I was little. His name is Sardine.” Raze replied.

“His name is what?” Spike giggled as soon as he heard the word Sardine.

“Hey, that is my only buddy out there alright? Even though it has been a long time since that incident happened.” Raze replied in melancholy.

“What happened exactly?” Spike asks again.

“Well…” Raze replied while remembering the incident.

Somewhere in KlugeTown, where weird creatures live, a harsh voice can be heard shouting.

“HEY, GET BACK HERE!” shout a purple fat fish wearing a dirty white tank top and a cargo pants chasing down two creatures. The two creatures were a cyan mixed with white teenage kitten wearing a same colour hoodie as his fur is known as Sardine and a white pony with an old cloak which is Raze.

“Sardine, you go with the fish! I’ll distract him!” Teenage Raze told the kitten.

“Alright, meet me at the usual place!” Sardine replied before start jumping on top of a stand and climb to the top.

“HEY YOU DIRTY CAT! GIVE BACK MY FISH!” the fish shouted.

Suddenly, a pebble was thrown to the back of his head. He turned around to see Raze.

“You must be his friend. Come here you, brat!” The fish chased Raze down.

Raze squeaked and starts running away. It was an intense chase as the crowd making it hard to run or chase.

‘I can’t fly just like that; I might hit a rope that used for drying! I can’t use magic either, I barely able to lift a toolbox!’ Raze said in his thought. After a few corner turn, Raze meet up with a dead end.

“Shoot, I’m trapped!” Raze muttered. He turned around; the fish is already blocking the only way to run.

“There’s nowhere to run no you little brat. It’s time for you to pay for what you and your cat friend did.” said the fish before lifted his air in to lend a punch to Raze’s face. Raze closed his eyes accepting his fate.

Suddenly, a few black pepper bombs fall down from the sky, hitting the face of the fish.

“Ouch, my eyes!” the fish shouted in pain while rubbing his eyes.

Raze look up, Sardine was standing there while juggling one black pepper bomb on his right hand.

“Sardine!” Raze shout in excitement.

“Dude, Are you going to stand there or run away?!” Sardine shouted.

Raze look towards the fish that still rubbing his eyes. He looks up and flies up and landed next to Sardine.

As the fish looks up towards both of them, he shouted, “I’LL GET YOU ONE DAY YOU STUPID BRAT!”

“If you can get us, old fish!” said Sardine. Both pony and the kitten gave him a laughs mockery and proceeds to leave.

Somewhere besides the beach, two creatures were walking together while having a light conversation.

“That was a close one, dude! Imagine he manage to catch us! *chuckles*” Sardine excitedly speak up.

“Yeah, last time we got caught, we have to clean his stall. Dang that stall is dirty as his shirt.” teenage Raze replied.

“And I don’t think it come from the fish he sells either.” Sardine replied.

Both of them laugh in joy.

“Bro, he stinks so much that he smells like he came from the trash bin! *laughs*” Raze replied.

“Yeah, perfect for his name…the Stink Trout!” Sardine replied.

Both of them laugh again like there’s nothing to worry about. As they stop laughing they walks towards an old hut not far from them.

“Hey, Sardine.” Raze called the kitten.

“Yeah?” Sardine replied.

“I think we should stop doing this dude.” Raze replied with a low tone.

Sardine look towards the sand they’re walking on. Silence filled the conversation for a minute.

“*sigh* Yeah, but we’re an orphan. Both of us, Raze.” Sardine replied.

“Why don’t we catch the fish on our own? Maybe we can make a boat or a raft.” Raze replied.

“But how do we catch the fish? By swimming?” Sardine replied.

“That’s what I want to hear! Come on, let’s get home quick. I’ll show you something.” Raze immediately run towards the hut in excitement.

“Hey, Raze, wait up!” Sardine chased Raze from behind.

Back in the present, Raze is sitting on a chair, while focusing on eating a peanut butter toast. They had arrives in the kitchen in a few minutes. In front of him, Spike, Starlight and Twilight (who happened to hear the conversation as they entered the kitchen) were interested on Raze life story.

“So, what you really want to show to Sardine?” Starlight interrupted.

“Well, that is just the start of the story. We also had our prime age you know? After I shown him the ‘thing’ that I had been working on, we immediately became famous in KlugeTown for a few weeks.” Raze replied without looking at them.

“What did you show him that makes both of you famous?” Twilight asked, starting to get interested.

“Well…” Raze squinted his eyes.

“Ta da!” Raze shout in excitement. Presenting him a simple net that had a small prawn tied on it.

Sardine is munching on a sardine sandwich while he ask, “Whot dhat theng dos exactly? (What that thing does exactly?)”

“Well, this is…Ultimate Sardine Catcher 2000!” Raze replied.

“You’re not answering my question, Raze.” Sardine gave him annoyed face.

“Okay, okay, this prawn, it can attract the fish towards the net. When they eat the prawn, we can pull this net so they will be trapped in the net!” Raze replied.

“Urm, what if they swim out if because it moved?” Sardine still not satisfied by Raze’s answer.

“Oh, that’s easy. I haven’t done one thing yet to this net - a freeze spell. After I cast one, any fish that fell into this trap, will froze and it will be an easy catch.” Raze replied.

“Hmm, it’s not a bad idea. But do we have a boat?” Sardine asks.

“We can make one.” Raze smirked.

“How, dude? We can barely afford candles for the hut, how we can buy the woods?!” Sardine replied.

“We don’t need to buy them.” Raze smirked.

“Are we going to steal again?” Sardine raised his right eye brow.

“Nope, I find something better. Follow me, I’ll show you something.” Raze says before leaving the hut. Sardine just followed him from behind.

Raze walked towards a certain bush.

“What are you doing with the bush, dude?” Sardine asks in confusion.

Raze pushed the bushes aside revealing a huge box. Sardine eyes widened in disbelief, “Is that a supply crate?!”

“Yeah, with a few modifications, we can turn this box into a boat and whatever is inside; we can use it for our benefits!” Raze replied in excitement.

“What are we waiting for? Come on, let’s take this thing, dude!” Sardine excitedly replied.

Both of them carrying the box and put it in front of their hut. Sardine walk up to the crate and inspected it. He backed off and prepared a fighting stance.

“Raze, back off. Let’s see if this thing can handle my punch.” Sardine smirked.

Raze took a few steps behind. Sardine immediately screams, “BANZAI!!!!!!!!!!!!”

Sardine gave a super spinning kick to the crate. As he lands the kick, his whole body shakes like a metal. He falls down and holds his legs in pain.

“YOWWWWWWW! What is this crate made out of?! A super woods?!” Sardine shouted in pain. Raze goes besides him and inspected the injury.

“You’re lucky you didn’t deliver a 720 kick. Or else, you might have to move with a wheelchair. *chuckles*” Raze replied. He continued, “Welp, if that’s fail you know what I’m gonna do.”

Raze charged up his magic and blasted the crate. The crate later, fall off revealing what’s inside. Both creature eyes widened.

“Is that…engine?” Raze tilted his head.

“Heck if I know.” Sardine stand up. He walks up to the engine and inspect it for a minute. He suddenly gets an idea, “Hey, dude. Why don’t we use this engine on our boat plan?”

“Hey, that’s not a bad idea!” Raze smiled in agreement. Raze used his magic to put the engine aside. Raze then grabbed all the wood pieces one by one and gathered it in one place.

“So…are we going to do it?” Sardine asks.

“Hey, plan goes first. Without plan, we can’t have the objective on ran.’ Raze smirked. He pulled out a stick and start drawing on the sand. He explained everything what they need to do and what they need to have. Sardine also gave a little suggestion which sometimes Raze accept and reject.

Back in the present days, Raze are now accompanied by the Main 7, Starlight, Trixie and Spike in the Cutie Map room.

“So, finally both of you start building a boat…? Is that what make you guys famous? Trixie don’t get it.” Trixie asks.

“Nope, in fact, we’re famous after we catched the sardines. Sardine is a total fanatic to sardine sandwiches to be honest. He had tried mixing everything with the sandwiches but he will always say ‘decent taste’ or ‘mid taste’. But one day, I decided to be the one who cook the sandwiches. I forgot what I mix but that is the first time I see him running around in excitement.” Raze explained.

“Ooh…what mix did you add?” Pinkie asks.

“Hmm…let me try to remember…” Raze put a hoof under his chin.

Another day has passed since they built a boat to catch sardines. They even pay back for the sardines that they had steal from Stink Trout. But all of that thing can be put aside. In the hut Sardine was sitting in frustration. Raze realize something is wrong with his fellow cat friend.

“Dude, what’s wrong?” Raze asked.

“*groan* I had tried everything to make the best sardine sandwich! I had mixed everything like Onion, mayonnaise and salad! None of them fit!” Sardine replied.

“For what purpose?” Raze walked towards the kitchen that’s not far away from the door. Raze start to make some sandwiches.

“If we can make a tasty one, we can make money, dude! Imagine that!” Sardine replied.

“That’s not a bad idea. Anyways, here’s your sandwich. Sardine mixed with random veggies I bought.” Raze said.

“Whatever, dude.” Sardine replied.

Sardine grabbed the sandwich gave it a bite. Suddenly, his eyes widened in pure joy and amazement. He ran to the middle of the hut and does a slide and raised the sandwich in the air, which makes the hut to shakes and Raze to shock.

“DUDE, WATCH OUT! YOU’RE GOING TO COLLAPSE THE WHOLE HUT!” Raze shouted in anger.

“*laugh in pure joy* YES! YES, YES YESSSSSS! THIS IS WHAT I’VE BEEN LOOKING FOR! THIS IS A PURE ART AND TASTE!” Sardine shouted.

“You mean my sardine sandwich? *munch*” Raze asks.

“What did you put in the sandwich?! *munch*” Sardine asks while eating up the sandwich in excitement.

“Sardine, onion, mayonnaise and…a black pepper…?” Raze said while trying to remember the recipe he mix randomly.

“I had tried that before, it’s taste decent. I believe you mix something that makes it taste wonderful like this!” Sardine replied.

“Hmm…hold on let me see…” Raze replied. He walks up to the ingredients shelf. He inspected every single ingredient, “White pepper…no…sour cream…no…chicken powder…no…” Raze search for a minutes and he smiled, “I think this is the one…it was-”

“SEA SALT?!” everyone shouted in disbelief. Raze are now surrounded by multiple ponies including the Main 6, Starlight and Spike. They’re now in a moving train that on the way to Canterlot.

“So, how does a sea salt can make you guys famous?” Lyra, who happen to be sitting on Raze back seat asks.

“Good question, I have nooooooo idea. I also tasted the sandwich. It’s normal for me.” Raze replied.

“Whoa, whoa, so…you’re saying you EAT fishes?” Rainbow Dash asks in disbelief.

“Yes I do, if not, how do I get these fangs?” Raze smiled showing his fangs.

“But in your memories I saw you already had fangs too.” Twilight added more.

“That is altered memories, I do not have fangs, I just can’t recreate a memory scene properly.” Raze answered.

“So, how do you guys got famous?” Spike asks.

“We try to sell it to the creatures that live around the town. At first we don’t get any attention until Stink Trout came around.” Raze replied.

“Miss would you buy this sandwich please?” Sardine offered. The female creature rejected harshly. It has been four days and they haven’t able to sell any of the sandwiches even once.

“Ugh…it has been four days, dude. No one wants to buy our sandwich!” Raze talk to the cat.

“No, I believe we can sell these sandwiches! Remember, we invest so much in the ingredients!” Sardine replied.

“We don’t actually invest. We just harvest these onions and the mayonnaise we made it out of the sardine’s egg!” Raze replied.

“How about the black pepper that we’ve got dude? Where do you think we get that?” Sardine whispers to him.

“Urm…we stole it? Excuse me?” Raze replied.

“Shh…don’t say that out loud!” Sardine replied.

“Alright, but we don’t make any money here, dude!” Raze replied.

“*sigh* I guess you are right.” Sardine replied, gave up on arguing.

Suddenly, the same purple fish that chase them a few days ago reached them.

“Oh…hey…Trout.” Raze muttered.

“Hey kids, what are you doing here? I thought you guys would be spending time catching all of those fishes.” said Stink Trout.

“Yeah, we decided to find some money you know? We don’t want to rely on these catch every day.” Raze replied. Raze continued, “By the way, did you receive the last barrel of fish we sent? You know, we have been stealing so much from you. So I think we should do a payback for everything we stole.”

“Oh, *laugh* of course I did! I even received your extra barrel, kid! Thanks for that too! So, you both need some money right?” Raze replied.

Both creatures just nodded. Stink Trout gave them a smile. He took a sandwich and gave them a few bits.

“Keep the change, let’s see if these sandwich really taste that good.” Stink take a bite.

Both of them slowly widen their eyes, waiting for a response from the big fish.

Stink Trout’s eyes widened, “Oh the taste is fabulous kid! This is the tastiest sardine sandwich I’ve ever taste! Hey, come on here! You don’t want to miss this delicious sandwich!”

That sudden call from Stink attracts many creatures towards the duo. Everyone immediately interested into the sardine sandwiches that Raze and Sardine sells. Their sandwiches immediately changes from in just a few seconds. Both creatures smiled, looking at the money income they’ve got.

“What a tasty treat! Do you have any more of these?” said a humanoid blue angler fish.

“Yeah, I’ll buy three!” said another fish.

“I’ll buy ten!” said another.

“Do you have other flavor?”

Both creature smiled in joy, this is the start of their new business.

“See kids? Never give up before you see outcome.” Stink Trout said towards both of them.

“So, what happen next? What incident ruined your moment?” one of the Canterlot elite asks. Raze are now sitting on a fancy table outside a restaurant. The crowds are now changed but the Main 7, Starlight and Spike still sits stays around.

“Hmm…the incident really changed my life. Since that event happened, I never been able to find him again.” Raze replied.

“Would you like another tea sir?” one of the restaurant waiters interrupted.

“Oh, do you have any green tea?” Raze asks.

“One green tea coming right up.” The waiter replied before leaving the table.

“So…what happened next?” Spike asks.

Raze sit in silence. That makes everyone around him starts to feel tension. When Raze about to speak up, the same waiter arrives with his green tea order, “Here’s your order sir.”

“Oh thank you.” Raze lifted his cup of green tea and had a little sip.

“Come on, Raze, what happen next?! We’re curious!” Spike interrupted.

“*sigh* Alright, this is the epilogue…” Raze replied.

It was another ordinary day for the duo Sardine and Raze. However, Raze seems to be only one in the hut. It has been a habit for Sardine to leave everytime winter arrives. He has a business to attend somewhere else. But today is not the winter; instead, it’s the arrival of spring meaning the business is on. When Raze is reading Gusty the Great, Sardine finally came in the hut.

“Sardine, it’s nice to see you again, dude!” Raze greeted the kitten.

“Hey, sometimes, I have to find a good place to avoid this winter you know? So…are you ready for another business day?” Sardine said after put down his travelling bag.

Raze just smirked.

Like another day in KlugeTown, both creatures are getting more customers day by day.

“Thank you for buying the sandwich, sir!” Sardine said after a shark humanoid creature paid them 15 bits for three sandwiches.

“*chuckles* Business has been booming again.” Raze said before giving a different flavor sandwich towards some blue humanoid whale.

“Yeah, I think that is the last sandwich that we’ve got.” Sardine replied.

“Yup, I guess we have to-”

Suddenly, a few sound of screaming and panicking interrupted their conversation.

“What the hay…?” Raze pouted.

“Give me everything you had!” said a voice that sounds like a monkey.

Both creature look to their side, an odd looking black monkey with his goon is robbing a fish that sells merchandise.

“I don’t have any money!” said the fish.

“Boys, you know what to do.” said the monkey.

Both of his buffed goons immediately raided the fish stall without any mercy. They steal everything that seems valuable. When both creatures are watching them from far away, Stink Trout passes them and asks, “What both of you are looking at?”

When he sees the monkey his face immediately changes; showing a fear emotion.

“Oh no, don’t tell me it’s him again.” Stink Trout said in fear.

“Who?” Raze asked.

“Storm Prince. He arrived last winter.When I was spending my time in a bar, I saw him when he asks for something valuable towards this random guy. The guy taunted him and says he’s not scared of some random baboon. Suddenly he brought him somewhere else. After a few minutes, he came back with a few bloods on his face.”

That explanation makes Raze to freeze. That monkey is capable of killing someone?

“Meh, I’m not afraid of some monkey.” Sardine replied.

“Heh, you’re very brave kid.” Stink Trout looked at Sardine.

“Hey, you three!” call the Storm Prince.

Three of them look towards the wannabe king monkey.

“*groan* what do you want?” Sardine replied.

“Give anything valuable you have!” Storm Prince replied.

“Or what?” Sardine replied, which bring Raze fear.

“Sardine, don’t-”

“Ohohoho, the first one to talk back I see?” Strom Prince replied. He continued, “Do you know who are you talking to, young cat?”

“Yeah, I’m talking to a monkey with no kind of combat ability.” Sardine replied.

“Har, har, it’s very funny stupid kitten. It’s time for my sideman to show you what respect is.” Storm Prince snapped his finger. One of his guards lifted the cat.

“Hey, release me, you stupid imbecile!” Sardine shouted while trying to hit the guard.

“Awh, how cute this cat is trying to fight back.” Storm Prince smiled in mockery. He look towards Raze, “Now how about you be a good boy and give me what I want?”

“Hey, release that cat boy first.” Stink Trout touched the monkey shoulder.

“Boy, can you manage this guy first?” Storm Prince ordered his goon.

Suddenly, one punch was swings towards Stink Trout. The punch is strong enough it sends Trout to a crate stacks, breaking it into pieces.

“Trout!” Raze shouted. He looked towards the monkey, “Release my friend, right…now!”

“Awh, is the pony is angwy? How cute, little boy.” Storm Prince said in mockery.

Raze immediately charged a magic and blast it towards him sending the Storm Prince colliding with a fruits stands. Seeing the situations, some other creatures start leaving, afraid that their presence would get themselves involved. Raze then blasted another magic towards the goon that holding Sardine, causing him to back off and releases Sardine. Raze immediately walk up to the cat and asked, “You okay, dude?”

“*cough* yeah, I’m alright.” The cat replied.

Suddenly, Storm Prince rise from the stack of fruit and shouted in anger, “GET THAT PONY AND CAT! I WANT THEM RIGHT NOW!”

Seeing that situation, both cat and pony immediately run away while being chased down by the goons. An intense chase was occurred. Raze and Sardine tried everything to slow the goons down but it seems failed. They tried from pulling a crate to fall and blocking their path and taking so much turn to lose them but it seems they’re able to keep up. Slowly, they realize, there’s actually more goon that chased have been chasing them down. Raze don’t have any spell to encounter the goons but he can’t fly without Sardine either. To carry Sardine, he’s too heavy for his size.

“Raze, this is bad! It seems that he had called backups!” Sardine told Raze.

“How do we outrun them then?” Raze replied.

“Let’s just keep running! I don’t have any idea!” Sardine replied.

Both of them kept running for a few while. After a few minutes of running, they accidentally, took a wrong turn and trapped themselves on a dead end of a bridge.

“We’re cornered!” Raze shouted.

“Let’s turn back, I don’t think they-”

“Could found out you’re cornered?” Storm Prince interrupted.

Both creatures turned to see Storm Prince and his goon already arrived. They immediately put out a fighting stance.

“*laugh* Look at these cute little kids trying to fight back. Do you think you can win fighting against me?” Strom Prince replied.

“Try us.” Sardine replied.

Storm Prince burst out laughing before says,

“Get’ em.”

His goon immediately moves closer towards the young alicorn and the cat. Both creatures however, take a few steps back trying to figure out how to run away. They take a step back until at some point the finally reach the edge of the bridge. Both of them look down, it’s a strong sea waves. They realized; there’s only one way to run.

“Give up, boy! There’s no way you can run now!” Storm Prince laughs in mockery.

“There is!” Sardine replied.

Storm Prince tilted his head in confusion, “What…?”

“Do you think what I’m thinking?” Sardine asks Raze.

“A-Are y-you sure…?” Raze replied.

“JUMP!” Sardine shouted before jump into the strong wave of ocean.

After Sardine jumped, Raze, without thinking twice, followed the cat to jump down into the strong waves of oceans.

The Storm Prince walks up the edge. He stared the ocean for a while before blowing a raspberries and saying, “Don’t find them, they’re not worth the effort, come on, let’s rob another people. There are no way they surviving that jump.”

Storm Prince leaves the place, ignoring the two creatures that just jump into the strong waves of ocean.

After a few hours of the escape, a white alicorn can be seen lying on the beach not far from an old hut. He wakes up and starts coughing some water out. He looks around, there’s no sign of a cyan white cat lying. When he saw the hut, he immediately gets inside to find his cat friend. He examine the whole hut, there’s no sign of a cat. When he’s about to walk out, one note was left on the table counter. He took it and read it,

Hey Raze,

I’m sorry for leaving you alone right there. I don’t want to say this but it’s best for both of us to be separated for now. I’m afraid that monkey earlier will try to find us so we have to go on our own separate way. But…! This doesn’t mean we’re bros alright? One day, I’ll meet you again. One day, Raze. I promise.

Sardine

Raze sits on the hut couch and stared the notes for a long time. He lets out a big sigh.

“…and that’s how we got separated and never seen each other again. So, basically, he woke up earlier than I am as we reached the beach and decided to leave. We afraid that Storm Prince alias I call him black monkey, will try to find us.” Raze ended his story. As he looks around, he realized that something was different. They’re not in the kitchen anymore, instead; they’re in Canterlot castle. Every guard, Princess Luna and Celestia (sitting on a cushion pillow) and the Main 7 (including Starlight and Spike) were surrounding him, listening to his backstory.

“Hold on, why are we here?” Raze asks.

“Urm, don’t you remember?” Spike looked at Raze in confusion.

“Remember what?” Raze asks to his confusion.

“You’re the one who accepted the invitation!” Spike tries to remind the alicorn.

“Huh…?” Raze lifted he right eye brow.

“Ugh…I bet you’re very distracted telling the stories. Like this…” Spike turn to tell Raze something.

In the kitchen while there’s only Twilight, Starlight and Spike listening to Raze’s story, Spike suddenly burps out a scroll. That doesn’t make Raze stop telling his backstory.

“Why Celestia sent us a scroll on a morning like this?” Spike opened the scroll. Spike eyes widened, “Hey, Twilight you might want to read this.”

Twilight grabbed the scroll with her magic and read it,

Dear Twilight Sparkle,

My sister asked me to invite Raze to the castle for an afternoon tea. You and your friends also invited if they’re willing too. This also will be a discussion between Luna and Raze. However, it’s all depends on Raze’s choice. I hope you will reply soon.

Twilight smiled, “Hey, Raze, Celestia invited you to a tea-”

“Yeah, yeah, sure.” Raze replied.

“Oh, alright…I guess?” Twilight replied. Twilight gets off the chair, “I will go asks the girls, are you with me?”

Raze didn’t respond, instead, he gets off the chair and followed Twilight while still talking. Twilight rolled her eyes and walks besides Raze. Both Spike and Starlight also walk besides Raze.

“Then we walk into the Map room. Everyone starts to get interested in your story. Slowly, the whole PonyVille interested in your backstory. It kept being like that until we reach Canterlot. I thought Celestia and Luna would able to make you snap out of it, but they even interested in your story. After you end the story, you ask me since when you accepted the invite???” Spike looked at Raze in much confusion.

“Oh, *cough* eheheh…” Raze blushed in embarrassment.

“Since you had finished your story, I want to ask you a question.” Celestia asks Raze.

“Yes, Princess?” Raze widened his eyes.

“Would you join us in a tea party in the garden this afternoon?” Celestia asked.

Everyone looked onto Raze, waiting for that alicorn to give a response. Raze stood in silence. He lets out a smile and replied, “I would love to, your majesty.”

Celestia gave him a warm smile. Everyone around also gave Raze the same smile. Raze look around and realize the guards is not on their position.

“Urm, I don’t mean to be brag but…aren’t you guys supposed to be…on guard?” Raze awkwardly smiled.

All of the guards widened their eyes. They immediately leave the throne room so fast, they leave a silhouette.

The other just giggled looking at the guards panicking as they’re quickly going to their guard position.

“*giggle* it’s not their fault. Your story is indeed interesting, young Raze.” Luna said.

“*laugh* I guess I’m a good storyteller.” Raze replied.

“Yeah, you’re second before Rockhoof.” Rainbow Dash replied.

“Oh you’re right, the buff pony.” Raze replied.

“So…shall we start the afternoon tea?” Celestia asked after lowers the sun down.

Raze smiled, “Sure, let’s begin.”

In the royal garden, a few ponies can be seen enjoying their moments. This party quickly organized by Pinkie. Raze would rather have a calm and relaxing party so no confetti canon (poor, Pinkie). When everyone was distracted, Luna took that chance to talk with Raze.

“Raze, may I talk with you for a second?” Luna called the white alicorn.

“Oh, it’s a pleasure, your majesty!” Raze replied.

“*chuckles* just call me us by our name.” Luna said calmly.

“Oh, I’m sorry, princess.” Raze replied. His eyes widened in embarrassment, “Oh sorry! I did it again. *nervous chuckles*”

Luna just giggled watching that clumsy alicorn messed up. She continued, “SO, what do you think about the apology?”

Raze embarrassed face turned into a determined face. He replied, “W-well…I would like to do a second apology.”

“Oh you don’t have to-”

“I insist, Luna.” Raze said with determination. Luna just watched how the young colt could suddenly make her amazed. She sighed and shouted towards Celestia, “Celestia, can we have a talk for a second?”

Celestia turned around as her talk with Twilight were interrupted. Celestia look towards Twilight, “I guess Raze want to talk with me.”

She walks towards both alicorn and landed besides Luna. She speaks up with Canterlot manner, “What is it, Luna?”

“I suppose this colt right here have something to tell us.” Luna replied before look towards Raze. Both alicorn are now looking towards Raze, hoping that he would say something. Raze took a deep breath.

As he exhaled, he speaks up with a tone filled with guilt, “I know Celestia apologies me before but it doesn’t seem it was the right time. I want to once again to apologies.”

Raze stopped while looking towards both alicorn. He continued, “Before I met Twilight, I was a devil that trying to steal the power and terminate others. I have been spying you movement, your skill and magic. The entire thing I did is to take the throne and takeover Equestria. I once have a friend but I was betrayed. Since then I believe, to win, you have to betray.”

His speech slowly attracted everyone that’s enjoying the party.

“But after I met Twilight, my perspective changed. I try to redeem myself but it seems everyone didn’t want to forgive me. Then, I chose one way that I shouldn’t do.”

He pauses for a minute. He continued, “suicide.”

That brings uneasy feeling around them. Raze however, he continued his speech, “But after I Twilight helped me defeating my demon, I shouldn’t have use that way. Instead, I should try my best to make up for everything I made. Just like Starlight and Trixie.”

Everyone gave him a sad smile.

“But still, even though I would able to make it up, I still can’t stop asking this last question.” Raze stopped.

He look Celestia directly in the eyes, “Would you forgive me after everything I did?”

Silence bellowed upon them. Everyone was waiting for response from the Princess of the Sun.

Celestia smiled, “I, Princess Celestia,”

“And Princess Luna,” Luna added.

“And Princess Luna,” Celestia repeated, “will accept that apology with open hooves and accepted you as our royal friends.”

Raze grinned in excitement, “Oh sweet both of you, thank you and thank you! You don’t know how much it was worth!” Raze gave them a tight hug. All of them right there were overwhelmed by the beautiful sight Raze’s apology. Without any warning, Raze gave both Luna and Celestia a kiss to the cheek. That makes everyone on the party to opened their jaw while both the sisters eyes widened by that sudden kiss. Raze released his hug and starts flying in excitement while yelling,
