In the School of Friendship, it was a lively day. Every teacher in the school is in their class teaching their students. However, there’s one class with such a minimum student where there’s only six which is Theory Class by Raze. It’s just The Young 6 who is paying attention on what he was explaining and taking some notes down.

“…so in conclusion, Twilight have the ability to merge with one of her friends. But…it’s still something that hasn’t been proven yet.” Raze said while looking towards them.

“I wonder how she looks like if Twilight merges with Pinkie.” Silverstream tapped her chin.

“*chuckles* pretty sure we’re gonna have a crazy party.” Raze replied thinking about it too.

Suddenly the school bell starts ringing, giving a sign that the school is ended.

“Alright, since you guys are my only students, I won’t give any homework!” Raze smiled.

The Young 6 cheered up hearing that news. When the others were tidying up the mess around them, Sandbar looked towards Raze, “Are you going to attend tonight’s Nightmare Night?”

“Nightmare Night?” Raze asked. The other looked at him and nodded.

“Yeah, what costume you’re going to wear tonight?” Silverstream grinned in excitement.

“Hmm…I don’t know. It was so long since I celebrate Nightmare Night.” Raze replied.

“How many times you had celebrated Nightmare Night?” Ocellus looked towards Raze with concern.

“Hmm…I think…it was once.” Raze say with a poker face.

“WHAT?!” the Young 6 shouts in unison.

“Once? You’re kidding right?” Smolder stared the colt in disbelief.

“Urm, to be honest…no I’m not. That’s the first and the last Nightmare Night I ever had.” Raze look at them with poker face.

“What did you wear during that time then?” Silverstream asked.

Raze squinted his eyes for a second. He widened his eyes and hissed a little, “Oh…you don’t want to know.”

“What did white pony wear?” Yona asks again.

“Let’s…not talk about that, alright? How about you kids focus on what to wear tonight? Maybe I’ll join you guys tonight.” Raze smiled.

“I guess so.” Ocellus didn’t turn around.

“What are you going to wear this night then?” Silverstream look at Raze in excitement.

“Hmm…we’ll see later.” Raze said before walked out from the room, heading to the castle.

As the night arrive, the ponies are out,

When the princesses invited, the guards at bay,

But there’s one competition with no prize, the one that been fought, the princesses interested, the competition…is at play.

While everyone was outside enjoying Nightmare Night, Raze is still in his room, looking onto several costumes in the wardrobe that are ready for him to wear. However, he still clueless on what costume should he wears.

“What costume should I choose?” Raze look into his wardrobe. The wardrobe is filled with multiple costumes and a note that were left by Twilight and the others for him to choose. But it seems that there’s not even a single costume that had his attention. He run towards his bed jumped directly on it and lie on the bed.

He blows a raspberries, “Should I wear the pony-stein costume?” he thinks. He quickly shakes his head, “No, I bet there’s multiple ponies will wear the same costume and a bit too cliché.”

He stared the ceilings, “What about a ghost?” he makes a bored face, “Nah, it’s too plain and boring.” He stared the ceiling for a while. He immediately wake up and shouted, “WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?!” that strong enough to be heard until Sweet Apple Acres.

In the Sweet Apple Acres, the Main 7, Starlight, Trixie and Spike were gathering at the humble famous farm when they heard someone shouted ‘WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?!’ from the town, causing them to look to the sky.

“Did…someone just shouted…?” Spike raised her left eyebrow.

“Hmm…maybe it’s just somepony who can’t decide what costume they want to wear tonight. *chuckles* that’s why you should decide earlier.” Rainbow Dash looked at Spike.

Applejack walk to them, “Hmm…ah think that sounds like…”

“Does everyone is ready?” Mayor interrupted their conversation which dragging their attention.

“Of course we are! I can’t wait to see who is going to lose.” Rainbow Dash stared Applejack, underestimating the farmer.

“Yeah, and the one who is going to lose is you.” Applejack stared the Pegasus back.

Suddenly, both mares start to gets closer and stared eye to eye with hatred.

Mayor just looked at them and let out a sigh, “Always like this. Both of you can’t stop competing against each other don’t you?”

Twilight and the other walk towards both mares that still arguing and intervene, “Hey, relax girls. Tonight we will see who will win the award for the scariest pony in the town.”

“Yeah, don’t you think you both are not the only competitors?” Sunset smirked and raised her left eye brow.

“Yeah…but that doesn’t mean you can beat me. Everyone knows I’m the best prankster in this town!” Rainbow Dash looked at the yellow mare in anger.

Suddenly, Rarity interrupted, “Actually, what’s the reason were here again?”

“Are you serious?” Applejack and Rainbow Dash said in unison.

Twilight immediately intervened so it’s not going to be an argument, “Alright, AJ, Dash, relax.”

Twilight looks at Rarity, “Alright it seems you forgot about it. Let me explain again…”

Yesterday, when Raze is occupied with the Young 6, in Castle of Friendship, The Main 7 is having a conversation with each other in the cutie map room.

“So, does anyone have any ideas for Nightmare Night?” Twilight looked toward her friends in the room.

“Ooh, Ooh, I know! We make a haunted house! We can use the castle for the haunted house!” Pinkie hopped in excitement.

“Uhh, don’t you remember what happened the last time we do that at the Castle of Two Sisters?” Rainbow Dash raised her left eye brow.

“Ouh…yeah…you’re right…” Pinkie scratched her back mane, remembering what happened to the Young 6 when they use the castle as a haunted house.

“Yeah, Rainbow Dash is right. We can’t risk creating a haunted house anymore. Anyone had any other plan?” Twilight look into her friends again.

“How about ah offer my haunted maze? We can divide the section of the maze into seven parts. I also can share my scariest maze that I’ve been planning this few weeks! I bet it could attract more ponies around.” Applejack gave a pretty good idea.

Twilight smiled, seems interested in Applejack’s offer, “Hmm…that’s a good idea! I think-”
“Whoa, whoa, YOUR scariest maze? Pffft…I bet I can make mine better than you. Everyone knows that I’m the best at scaring people.” Rainbow Dash looks at Applejack in disbelief.

“*chuckles* better than mine you said? Ah’m the creator of the maze, Rainbow Dash. Me and mah’ family had been planning the whole maze for today. YOU say you’re the best…? That is ridiculous.*chuckles*” Applejack is making fun of Rainbow Dash.

“Oh yeah? How about we make it…a challenge?” Rainbow Dash stared the farmer in anger.

Rarity didn’t like the situation they’re in and decided to intervene, “Pardon, we’re here to discuss the plan, not to-”

However, they didn’t listen. Applejack look at rainbow Dash menacingly, “Oh yeah, of course. What challenge is it?”

“Oh no, here we go again.” Sunset blows raspberries. She knew this was going to happen.

“Let’s see who can scare the most ponies with their part in the maze!” Rainbow Dash slammed the table.

Twilight try to interrupt, “Girls, I think-”

“Oh I do accept the challenge.” Applejack put her left elbow on the table, acting like she was a badass.

“Are you in? Or are you a chicken?”” Rainbow Dash challenged the mare.

“Oh, of course I do.” Applejack didn’t want to lose either.

“Ooh, ooh, can I join?!” Pinkie suddenly intervene the argument.

Rainbow Dash looked at Pinkie, lifting her left eyebrow, “What? But this is-”

“Hey, actually, that’s not a bad idea.” Twilight smiled hearing the ideas. She continued and clapped her hooves, “Ooh, I know how to make this interesting! Let’s make this a battle between all of us. This gonna be fun!” she summoned a scroll and prepared a quill.

“I’m in, who’s in?” Twilight looks toward her friends.

“Hmm…I’m not mind to join, as long it doesn’t hurt the animals.” Fluttershy seems interested.

“Hey, count me in as well!” Sunset interrupted.

“Ooh, me too, me too!” Pinkie also interested.

Suddenly, Starlight and Spike entered the room, looking at them in confusion. Spike asked, “What are you guys arguing about? We can hear that from the outside you know?”

“We decided to have a competition where who get the most ponies to scare win!” Twilight grinned.

“That’s sounds great! Can I participate too? Also can you count Trixie in? I want to team up with her.” Starlight also interested.

“Hey, maybe I can join up. I really want to use some new tricks that Smolder taught me. *chuckles*” Spike lets out an evil smile.

“Alright then, it’s all-”

Wait, can I team up with Sunset?!” Pinkie interrupted.

“Hey, Pinkie, that’s not a bad idea…” Sunset like where this is going.

“Alright, it means there’s three doubles! How about you Rarity, are you in?” Twilight looked over her fashionista friend.

“Hmm…it might seem ridiculous, but I think I will join it perhaps. I might as well need some fun for tonight.” Rarity smiled.

“Alright, if that’s then…we are ready! I will tell Mayor about this. This is gonna be great!” Twilight grinned in excitement.

“Yeah, yeah, whatever, you guys can’t even beat me anyway.” Rainbow Dash arrogantly replied.

“You think so, Miss Dash?” Applejack raised her left eye brow, mocking the blue Pegasus.

“Oh yeah?! I bet you’re ready to get beaten, Applejack!” Rainbow Dash stared the orange mare. Both of them clashed head to head.

Twilight didn’t care what happened between them and talked, “Alright, see you girls tonight!” she teleports away. Leaving both mares still argue. The others didn’t care and leave the room.

Sunset just looked at them with a poker face, “Ugh, always both of you.” Then leave both of the earth mare and the Pegasus arguing.

“Oh…right, now I remember.” Rarity smiled in embarrassment.

“So, has everyone ready with their part?” Mayor looked at the Main 7, giving them a slight smile.

“Yeah!” they shouted in unison.

“Well…may the best pony wins!” Mayor said before a Pegasus pony wave a flag, giving the sign the competition has started. The Main 7 and the other immediately run into the maze, going onto their own designated spot.

When the Scare-Fest has begun, Raze is still in the room, can’t decide what to wear.

“Not this…no…too odd…too even…too shiny…” Raze throw every costume around. Finally he gave up and sits on his desk.

“*sigh* I can’t even choose the best costume, what should I do?” he stared the wall in front of him before flipping through his log. Suddenly he remembered what his ability is.

“Wait, I still remember my ability! I can’t be jumpscared! *laughs* Ah, I miss those old days where the whole orphanage will try to scare me.” Raze smiled remembering the time when he was a foal. Suddenly he gets an idea.

“Hey, that’s not a bad idea! Even though it’s not scary, but I don’t think anyone can scare me, *evil chuckles*” Raze walks up to his wardrobe. He took out one gray hoodie and sprayed a word on in which says ‘Not Even the Princesses can Scare Me’.

“Let’s see how the ponies gonna react.” Raze put the hoodie on, and had it covered his head. He walked outside to embrace the time around the town.

Back at The Sweet Apple Acres, every competitor is preparing their best scary content in their designated maze. From using a spider to illusion magic in the maze, the competition is really intensifies.

In Rainbow Dash maze, she is putting around a cloud with a scary ponies inside them, ready to pop out in any second.

“This is gonna be an easy win.” She chuckled.

In Twilight’s Maze, she and Spike are preparing some illusion magic in their maze to scare the ponies off.

“Ugh, why I can’t be with Rarity?” Spike complained while preparing a jumpscares trap.

“She said she want to prove that her interest of fashion doesn’t mean she can’t make a scary maze. She also said she doesn’t want anyone to help her with the maze.” Twilight replied.

Spike just groaned.

Everyone is preparing their best for their maze before it’s opened up for the others to enter.

“Ten minutes left!” Mayor shouted, making them to work faster.

On the other hand, this competition has been brought to Celestia and Luna which making them interested to see how the Main 7 work would look like. They decided to have a break from their job and give that humble farm a visit as this was a special night for both of them to enjoy.

On their way to the farm, both them talking while flying, “I can’t wait to see what Twilight and her friends had prepared.”

“Yes, me too, sister! It must be a great scary maze if this is a competition! I can’t wait to see their work.” Luna said.

“Do you think Raze will come over too?” Celestia asked.

“Hmm…I don’t know. It has been a long time since we got a scroll from the colt.” Luna touched her chin.

However, both sisters are more excited about the competition rather than Raze.

Raze is walking around while everypony is looking at him. He just passed them like nothing to worry about. Suddenly a little white foal with a brown spot looked at him, “Urm, hi mister.”

“Heyya, kiddo! What’s up?” Raze look at him with a warm smile.

“Are you really not scared of the princesses?” the foal asked.

“Hey, not even the headless pony can scare me. Try your best, I ain’t scared.” Raze give that kid a little pat on his head.

“How about t-the monster b-behind y-you t-then?” the kid pointed on Raze back.

Raze raised his left eye brow, “My back?”

When he turned around, a tall monster is standing behind him. The foal that ask were stood in front of Raze immediately took off running. The monster lets out a strong roar that could scare anyone away. However, Raze just stared the monster as it roaring.

When it ended, Raze smirked, “Not bad. Solid 5.5/10 but…could do a little more work, Smolder.”

“What?! How did you know it was me?!” a voice of a dragon came from the costume.

“Hey, I told you I know everything about you.” Raze smirked, celebrating his wins.

“Alright, you got us.” Another voice came out. That caused Raze to widen his eyes.

“Wait, there’s more than one creature?” Raze asks to his confusion.

As the monster suit revealed, it shows Smolder, Gallus and Sandbar wearing different costumes.

After they throw away the monster costume, Smolder look at Raze in confusion, “You don’t know that we wear the costume together?”

“I’m not a psychic! I’m just a humble alicorn.” Raze replied.

“Alright, but how are you not scared by that costume? There’s no pony in this town were brave enough to face that costume we made.” Sandbar looked toward Raze in amazement.

“I don’t know! I just can’t be scared easily. There are only certain things that manage to scares me though…” Raze tapped his chin. However, he didn’t care about it and start to ask them a question, “So…do you three are the only one here? Where’s the other?” Raze look around.

“We’re here!” a voice came from Raze back. When Raze turn around he saw Ocellus in a bee costume, Silverstream with a fake fangs and a vampony cape and Yona without any costume.

“Wow, nice costume you two had!” Raze smiled in amazement. He looked at Yona and immediately gave a confused face, “Where’s your costume?”

“Yona don’t like wearing costumes. Yona just want to enjoy the Nightmare Night with Yona’s friends!” Yona smiled in excitement.

“Alright, that’s okay. I’m also out of ideas.” Raze smiled.

“Hey, how about we go to the maze at Professor Applejack’s Farm? I heard the former principal is having a competition there!” Silverstream grinned in excitement.

“Competition…? What competition?” Raze raised his left eye brow.

“I heard they’re competing who can scare the most ponies with their maze.” Ocellus tapped her chin.

“Oh really…? Let’s go then!” Raze smiled.

They walk together towards the barn, where the other is eventually competing.

The maze has started a while ago. Many ponies has entered and witnessed some of the best scary decoration and scares. Some fainted and some even ran away immediately. Even Celestia and Luna were jumped off by some of the jumpscares that were prepared.

As the competition ended, everyone gathered around to see results of the competitions. While waiting, some of them were talking about the décor and jumpscares that had been prepared.

“Had you seen Rainbow Dash’s décor? She has one of the scariest scares I’ve ever seen!”

“Yeah, but I think Rarity’s is the scariest, something in there make me scared when I entered hers!”

“I think Pinkie and Sunset had the scariest one! Those things they had giving down chill down my spines!”

“Hey, I think Fluttershy’s part is unarguably scary. I never knew she could scare us even though she is the shyly one around.”

Everyone was talking in enthusiasm, pretty impressed by the work that had been done. On the other side, the competitors are waiting for the results.

“I can’t wait to see the result!” Twilight grinned in excitement.

“*laugh* yeah…the first thing you know, I’m gonna be the one at the top!” Rainbow Dash starts posing arrogantly.

“*chuckles* keep dreaming, Rainbow Dash. You will see you got the second from the top when they announce me.” Applejack gives a slight mocking smirk.

“I don’t really care, I’ve enjoyed the time creating those maze!” Fluttershy smiled calmly.

“Yeah, Pinkie and I have been working hard on ours. What’s your thought, Rarity?” Sunset looked towards her fashion friend.

“Oh, Sunset, I’m not the one who really into scary things. But I really have fun creating those decorations.” Rarity gave a poker smile.

“Alright, everyone! It’s time for the results of the competition!” Mayor interrupted, causing all the attention locked on her.

Mayor continued with her speech, “As tonight’s competition is one of the most competitive I’ve ever seen, I can say, most part of the maze is very amazing and wonderful. I want to…”

“Who do you think would win?” Celestia whispers towards Luna.

“In my opinion, it seems thou Rainbow Dash might win. Her part was the scariest I’ve seen so far.” Luna tapped her chin.

“You might think her, but me personally; I would say it’s Applejack. Her decorations were impressive that it gave me chills down my spine.” Celestia gave a poker smile.

Both of them didn’t continue their conversation as they focusing on Mayor’s speech.

“…and a huge thank you to Granny Smith for letting us to borrow her maze for the competition to happen! And now, without further ado…I announced the winner of tonight competition is…” Mayor opened the envelope that was passed by little Apple Bloom.

The atmosphere intensifies. Everyone widened her eyes, waiting for the winner to be announce, especially the competitors. Applejack had bitten her lips and Rainbow Dash is biting her hooves nails.

“Well…surprisingly…” the Mayor hung her words in the air while stared the envelope in disbelief.

“Surprisingly…?” Applejack and Rainbow Dash said in unison and worries.

Mayor cleared her throat and continued, “It’s a tie!”

“TIE?!” the whole audience shouted except Celestia and Luna who widened their eyes, shocked by the sudden noises.

“How is it possible for seven competitors tied at the same time?!” Rainbow Dash shouted in disbelief.

“I don’t know, It’s seems the audience really amazed by the decors!” Mayor smiled.

“Now hold on there. There must be a way to find the true winner!” Applejack denied the tie result.

Mayor tapped her chin, “I hope so. But the whole PonyVille and both princesses had made their choice. I don’t think there’s anyone left that can-”

“Hello, everypony! How’s the competition going? Who won it?” Raze interrupted.

Everyone look towards Raze that walking with the Young 6. Suddenly, Applejack and Rainbow Dash grinned in excitement.

“You are in the perfect time!” Rainbow Dash approached Raze in excitement.

Raze look at her in confusion, “In the perfect time? What do you mean-”

“Why did your hoodie says ‘Not even the princesses can scare me’?” Twilight interrupted.

Raze smiled in embarrassment, “Well…there’s specific reason.”

“What reason is it actually…?” Luna looked at her with her annoyed face.

“*sigh* I can’t be scared by any mean. Even though, there’s still something that can scares me though.” Raze tapped his chin.

“What is it?” Rainbow Dash took the opportunity in excitement.

“Hey, it’s not great if I tell you! I want to see who had the best maze in here!” Raze knows what Rainbow Dash wanted.

“Well…unfortunately it’s a tie.” Applejack interrupted.

“Wait, a tie?” Raze widen his eyes.

“Yeah, but I think you guys arrived is a miracle to the competition!” Rainbow Dash smiled in excitement.

“Wait, so we’re tiebreaker…? Sweet!” Smolder celebrated.

“Ooh, I would love to become the last one to enter!” Silverstream said in excitement.

“Yona likes to judge!” Yona jump in happiness.

“Alright guys, let’s don’t waste our time. Come on!” Sandbar walks inside, being the first one to enter the maze.

“Hey, wait up!” Ocellus followed him from behind. Their other friends also immediately chased them down. As the Young 6 left, the competitors starts to move to their maze part and the crowds start to gather around the food area. However, Twilight immediately stop midair when she saw Raze is still standing in front of the maze entrance.

She landed in front of Rae and looked at him in confusion, “Why don’t you join the students?”

“Oh, don’t worry, Twilight! I’ll join after this entire competition thing ended.” Raze smiled.

“Oh well, see you later!” Twilight gave him a warm smile before leaving.

“Alright, see you later!” Raze said before walk towards the crowd that gathering around an area which is for foods.

As he arrived, Celestia and Luna who were occupied by some ponies that delighted to see both princess immediately interrupted by Raze.

“Hello there, Princess Luna and Princess Celestia!” He smiled as he saw his friends.

Both princesses looked towards the alicorn.

“Hello, Raze! It’s nice to see you here.” Celestia gave him a poker smile.

“Me too, princess! I didn’t know you would love to spend time in PonyVille.” Raze gave a warm smile.

“*giggles* I do. Sometimes, me and my sister would spend our time in this town everytime it had an event.” Celestia replied.

“Yes, we mostly spend our time here as this is the closest place to Canterlot. *chuckles*” Luna replied.

“Maybe you’re right.” Raze made a poker face. Suddenly, awkward silent fall on them. The voice of crowd talking is the only thing that filled the atmosphere.

Suddenly, Celestia look towards Raze, “So…do you and Twilight official?”

“…excuse me?” Raze tilted his head. Luna just giggled mischievously, understands what her sister meant.

“Do you and Twilight are official now?” Celestia asks again.

“What is the thing that official?” Raze scratched his back mane.

“Hmm…it mustn’t be official then.” Celestia make a disappointed face.

“A-ho-wha-I’m…huh? What happened with Twilight?” Raze raised his left eye brow.

“Well…when I talk with her about you. Luna suddenly talked about a certain topic about dream. Somehow Twilight was shocked when Luna talked about Twilight’s dream. Twilight’s face turned red in embarrassment. The story was funny, no wonder Twilight’s face turned red.” Celestia giggles, remembering the day when Celestia, Luna and Twilight meet up the other day to have a light discussion.

“Anyway, I’m sorry for giving a sudden friends cheek kiss on the other day.” Raze still scratching his back mane with an awkward smile on his face. Remembering the sudden kiss to the cheek that Raze gave towards both sisters make them flustered.

“*nervous chuckles* we…don’t need to remember that…” Celestia gave a nervous smile. She continued, “Anyway it`s okay. It was not intentional.” She cleared her throat which ended up into another awkward silence.

After a few while, a voice came from Raze back, “*sigh of relieve* that was intense!” Ocellus said in a happy voice tone.

“Yeah, it was very scary!” Silverstream smiled in excitement.

“I think my favorite is Professor Applejack part. Her maze was scary.” Gallus interrupted.

“Meh, I think Rainbow Dash is the scariest. Her part was well made that it startled me before we even enters her part.” Smolder gave her own piece of mind.

“I love Professor Pinkie’s and Sunset’s part! Her part was scary.” Silverstream smiled.

“Meh, I think Professor Fluttershy had the scariest part, no doubt.” Sandbar denied their thoughts.

“I think I like former Principal Twilight’s maze. Her maze is very good!” Ocellus shared her piece of opinion.

“Yona like Professor Rarity’s maze! Professor Rarity’s maze scares Yona!” Yona gave an opinion.

Mayor walks in to see the Young 6, “Well…so have you kids decided who should win?”

They nodded in unison. The crowd immediately changes their attention to the Young 6. A few hooves roll can be heard.

“I think we’ve decided…” Sandbar speaks up,

“Professor Applejack!”

“Professor Rainbow Dash!”

“Principal Twilight!”

“Professor Fluttershy!”

“Professor Rarity!”

“Professor Pinkie and Sunset!”

The Young 6 shout in unison. Then they said what in unison afterwards.

“Urm…who specifically…?” Mayor scratched her back mane in confusion.

“We already said it don’t we…?” Smolder also does the same.

“Urm…you have to choose one actually.” The Mayor replied.

“Ouh…” The Young 6 shouts in unison.

The Mayor sighed, it’s seems it’s gonna be another tie. There’s no way they can end the night if it goes like this. However, the Mayor smiled as she remembered someone who hasn’t entered the maze yet. She looked towards one white alicorn who is apparently talking with Celestia after he changed his attention towards the Princess of Sun.

“Raze, can I talk with you for a second? I’m sorry princess; this is…pretty urgent.” Mayor smiled nervously.

“Hi, Mayor! Have you found the winner yet?” Raze smiled.

“Apparently, it’s a no. It seems the kids also had their own choices. I called you because…can you be the one who would tiebreak this competition?” Mayor Mare pleaded.

“Oh, of course I’ll do! It was an honor to do it!” Raze grinned in excitement. He turned towards Celestia, “Alright then. Princess Celestia, I think I have to enter the maze right now. It seems the competition somehow still a tie.”

“Oh sure, Raze. See you later then?” Celestia poker smiled.

“See you later!” Raze said before walking straight into the maze.

As he leave, Celestia walks up to Mayor and asked, “He doesn’t kind of a pony that would blast anything that scary isn’t he? Because I’m afraid my students in there would be blasted.”

“Well…I hope it’s not.” Mayor gritted her teeth.

As Raze entered the maze, he saw a sign and a map. There’s a few part he will go through starting with Pinkie’s and Sunset part.

“Let’s see what they’ve got.” Raze smiled in excitement, can’t wait to see the maze. As he walks up inside, he was confused. Everything was looking cute with a lollipop stand, giant candy cane and some cotton candy. He walks around the part in confusion, “I thought this is a scary maze…?”

He looks towards one of the giant bunny shaped lollipop that stands there. He smiled, looking at the cute looking lollipop.

“Awhhh…I don’t care this maze is scary or not. This bunny lollipop sure a cute thing!” he was overwhelm by the cute shaped sweet.

Suddenly, the bunny head was cutted off - releasing such a huge amount of bloods to the air. Raze eyes widened looking at the sudden scenery. When he looked around, everything starts to changes; the lollipop that he passed earlier magically turned into an eyeball that staring at him. The candy cane turned into a tongue that wriggling. Raze look to his hooves because something wet can be felt underneath it. As he looks, a pool of blood has run down his hooves. However he didn’t feel scared. In fact, he just smiled giggled a little bit.

“Not gonna lie, this combination is totally one of the scariest one. But it’s too often used that it makes this theme is…pretty predictable.” Raze just giggled as he lift his left hoof slightly.

Suddenly, he heard something walk towards him. He look to his front, one little alligator is standing in front of him.

“Isn’t that…Pinkie’s pet?” Raze raised his left eye brow, looking at Gummy the Alligator.

Everything around him is still looking scary with the eyeball looking at Raze and the tongue still wriggling, but Gummy’s appearance literally changed the scary atmosphere into awkward.

“Gummy, you ruin everything!” Sunset’s voice came out of nowhere. As he turns around, he saw Sunset, wearing a cowboy suits.

“Awh, come on, Gummy also want to join in!” Pinkie interrupted. She wears a clown costume.

“Wait, since when you wears a costume…? I thought you guys were too occupied to wear a costume earlier!” Raze tilted his head a bit in confusion.

“Well…since there’s no one left except you to enter, we decided to put our costume on!” Pinkie replied in excitement.

“Oh…” Raze just widened his eyes. He continued, “Anyway, these decors are good. But it’s too predictable. Nice touch with the illusions.”

“How did you know it was an illusions?!” Sunset asks in disbelief.

“Hey, I’ve seen blood back in my day. I’ve seen more than once. This colour is too bright.” Raze touched the fake blood. He continued, “However, those eyeballs and tongue illusion is pretty good. Keep up the good work!” Raze walk away to the next part of the maze.

Both mares just watch Raze walk away. Gummy walks in front of them which takes both mares attention.

“*giggles* good joke, Gummy!” Pinkie burst out laughing. Sunset just raised her left eye brow on Pinkie, doesn’t understand what so funny about the alligator.

Raze reached the next part - Fluttershy’s part. Fluttershy’s part looks like a forest. It was such an interesting view for anyone that enters the maze.

“What a beautiful sight! This must be Fluttershy’s part.” Raze walks around to inspect the breathtaking design. Suddenly, Angel appears out from one of the tree.

“A…rabbit now…?” Raze scratches his back mane. Both creatures stared each other for a few minutes.

Suddenly, the Rabbit turn his head sideways 360 like it doesn’t have a neck.

“Oh…okay…?” Raze raised his left eye brow.

Suddenly, Angel grows multiple eyes, getting it grows into a giant rabbit, grows some sharp nails and roared towards Raze. Raze just widened his eyes, not scared but amazed.

“Hmm…what a good use of poison jokes…” he muttered.

Then, Angel picked Raze up, and starts roaring on his face. As the Rabbit Monster stop, Raze just put a hoof on his nose and waves in front of him like he is trying to get rid of something.

“*cough* you got to be kidding me. At least wash your teeth before roared towards me!” Raze said to his annoyance. Suddenly, Angel opened his mouth, trying to eat Raze.

“Angel!” a voice of a timid Pegasus came over.

“Don’t eat him! You just have to lift him!” Fluttershy came by. Angel just makes an annoyed face.

“Fluttershy, why can’t this is a really good script!” a draconequus appears midair.

“We try to scare him, not eat him, Discord!” Fluttershy replied.

“Ugh, Fluttershy, Angel is not going to eat him alright? He’s just tries to…uhh…make him scream by threatening to eat!” Discord smiled and gave a wink to Angel.

Angel just nodded nervously.

“Nope, no threat. Put him down, right now!” Fluttershy said looking towards the Lord of Chaos.

“Ugh…fine.” Discord snapped his finger, causing the rabbit to turn into his original rabbit shape. Angel crossed his arms, feel displeased. Fluttershy fly close towards Raze and landed in front of him.

“Sorry, Discord doesn’t felt like it when he knows you…” Fluttershy lowered her tone, “hurt Princess Celestia…” she scratched her back mane.

“Don’t worry, I don’t really mind. It’s a pretty good use of magic though. I didn’t know Angel was enchanted with magic until Discord came around.” Raze just smiled. He looks towards Discord, “You must be Discord! Your work is pretty good. However, it’s pretty dangerous to put it on an animal. You might put a danger around other ponies.”

Discord gritted his teeth.

“Anyway, nice décor overall, see you later!” Raze walk away in excitement.

After Raze leave, Discord muttered, “You’re lucky Fluttershy is around.”

When he looks toward Fluttershy, the Pegasus already stared him. He already knows what that mean, either he can’t bother Raze anymore or he will get a long amount of lecture about treating others.

Raze walked through a maze which look like an apple trees. He look towards one of the apples, it looks perfectly fine.

“Must be Applejack’s maze.” He muttered.

He walks around the maze to see what so scary about it. Then he stumbled upon one crate. As he opened the crate, there’s a skeleton inside.

“Classic, AJ really knows how to choose the class-”

A sound of a dropped apple came from behind him. Raze turned around. There’s no one except the fact there’s one apple on the ground. He realized the trees starts to goes off. He walked towards it and sees the apple had two bite marks.

“Huh, I know this theme.” Raze thought.

Suddenly, an apple juice dropped on top of his head. He looks up to see Apple Bloom was hanging upside down. The little filly shrieked in anger looking at him and immediately flies towards him at full speed. Raze make a poker smile. He stepped aside and grabbed the little one by the cape with his teeth.

“Ouch, that’s hurt!” Apple Bloom shouted.

“Sorry kid, impressive technology but a small kid like you can’t scare a grown up.” Raze smirked. However, it didn’t end there, Raze shoulder was tapped. When he looked behind him, a mummy is looking at him in the eyes. It was red, big and yellow mane…hold on…yellow mane?

“Big Mac, You didn’t wear the wrapper right, big guy! You ruined it!” Applejack came by with a scarecrow suits. Big Mac turned around. He looked towards his body and realizes that Applejack was right.

“Oops…” Big Mac said while giving an awkward smile.

“Ugh…why did you have to be like this just right now? Before this, you’re all good, Big Mac!” Applejack said towards Big Mac who just scratched his back mane.

“Hey relax, AJ. Big Mac is excited to scare me up, okay? Give this dude a break. He has been scaring ponies for a while now.” Raze give Big Mac a pat to his back.

“But I’m trying the best to scare you alright? I heard that you’re not scare-able.” Applejack replied.

“Try your best, only a certain thing can scare me, AJ.” Raze smirked.

“Oh yeah? I don’t think so.” Applejack gave Raze a confident smirk.

Then another tap came from behind Raze. Raze turned around. A giant suit stood still behind him. A strong roar was let out from it.

Suddenly, Raze interrupted, “Just stop. That has been the second roar that I heard today. Can you find something better?”

The roar stopped. Then it’s head were taken off, revealing a yellow pony wearing a cowboy hat.

“Awh…dang it. Cousin, you told it’s was easy to scare him!” said Braeburn, the name of the pony that came from Appleloosa.

“I don’t think we did it, cousin. Just look at his face! Does he look scared?” Applejack pointed towards Raze that stared them like a derp.

Raze shakes his head, “Anyway, nice way to scare people, I shouldn’t look down towards you guys. See you later!” Raze walk away.

“So…am I getting paid?” Apple Bloom asked out of nowhere.

“Wait, were getting paid?” Braeburn asks too.

Applejack just huffed.

As Raze walks into another maze, it seems the maze he entered is mostly covered in gems.

“What kind of strategy is this? How is this able to scare people?” Raze was confused while looking around.

Suddenly, he saw a blue orb flying towards him. He stands there, amazed by the looks. Than it generates a pony-like hologram that was see through.

“Sweet Celestia, this is totally beautiful! But how you do this thing scares me though?” Raze made a poker face.

Suddenly, other orbs came through. Then, more and more orbs starts to come through and generated into a few more pony-like hologram that finally surrounds Raze.

“…alright…then?” Raze look around him in confusion.

Suddenly, the holograms eyes turn into a real eyes that stared Raze down. Each of them slowly turns into a scary looking pony with different sets of scary teeth and scary appearance. Some were a skeleton and some were dismembered. They stared Raze down and chanted, ‘You’re next’ in repeat.

“What the hay…?” Raze was totally confused.

Suddenly, a sinister laugh echoes. Raze look around to see the source. As he sees towards one of the crystals, one shadow smiled widely, showing their teeth that filled blood stain on their teeth. Their eyes were dark with dot on each eye on it staring at him. Anyone who looked at them would literally faint but Raze just stand there. He just smiled. That makes the dark being to be annoyed.

“Why did you laugh?” it asked.

“I like how you create this with whole thing from pretty and elegant immediately turned everything into horror in a few minutes.” Raze replied.

“You should be scared!” the voice stared him in anger.

“Is that what every ghost will say?” Raze raised his left eye brow.

“W-Well…yes! You should be scared!” it says again.

“I’m going to be honest, it does scary but when you appears it makes the whole scary thing turned down when you start speaking, Rarity.” Raze gave a poker smile.

“How do you know it was me?” Rarity voice came out from the demon.

“Miss, like…you’re the only one who stands here.” Raze just make a poker face.

“Alright, you got me.” Rarity makes a sad face. She came out from behind the crystal revealing her normal self with a Dracula’s cape and a fang.

“Huh, your costume looks just like what Apple Bloom worn.” Raze scratches his back mane.

“Really…? Hmm…it must be coincidence. Anyway, how do you know it was me?” Rarity looked towards Raze in disbelief.

“Well…gems…crystals…it’s all your basic, girls. What so hard guessing about it?” Raze smiled.

“*huff* I guess my trick won’t work then.” Rarity makes a sad face.

“*chuckles* you did scare the other don’t you? Keep going, I believe you can!” Raze walk away to the next part.

After Raze left, Rarity put on a little thought and thinking out loud, “I think I could put more gems…”

Raze walks in the second last maze. It seems…normal. Just some bush, Halloween décor and stuff.

“Hmmm…I bet this is Starlight’s and Trixie’s…but I don’t hear that any of the student says that this part were scary. What happened?” he looked around. Then he finds a piece of notes.

Dear visitor,

We’re sorry for this last minute bail of competition. However, I have to bring Trixie to the nearest hospital after she nearly blown herself up with some crackers.

“Crackers…? Wait, why don’t I hear crackers explosion earlier then?” Raze stared the paper for a long time.

A minutes ago, before Raze enter the maze, Trixie and Starlight is preparing one of the scariest maze that would ever exist.

“Are you sure this is going to work…?” Starlight asked with concern towards her magician friend.

“*blows raspberries* of course it is! How someone like Raze would not be scared if he heard some explosion?” Trixie proudly says proudly.

“Uhh…are you sure this is safe? This looks a little…dangerous.” Starlight touched her chin.

“Of course, with the Great and Powerfultm Trixie cracker, we can create the best scares that can make even the princesses bail off!” Trixie stand on her forelegs opened her arms in the air, blasting a little sparks from her horn. However, one of the sparks landed on the fuse, causing the crackers to light up.

Starlight saw it and immediately panicked, “TRIXIE, THE CRACKERS ARE BURNING!”

That causes both mares to panic.

“WHAT SHOULD WE DO?! IT’S GONNA BLOW UP!” Trixie panicked.

“PUT IT OUT!” Starlight shakes Trixie’s body.

Trixie makes a magic that surrounds Trixie inside it with the crackers. She immediately took off her cloak and put it on the crackers.

“DON’T DO THAT!” Starlight shouted. However the magic also prevent any noises from enter or leave. Then, the crackers blow up, creating a huge amount of smokes. Starlight was horrified as the crackers keep blowing.

“TRIXIE!” Starlight panicked. After a few minutes, the magic worn off revealing a few smokes. The smokes finally gone, revealing Trixie, who stands with her eyes widened.

“T-Trixie…? Are you…okay?” Starlight gets closer to her friend.

A few seconds later, Trixie fainted. That causes Starlight to panic. She gets closer to Trixie, “I have to bring you to the hospital!” she touched her friend. He summoned a note and writes something on it. Then, she put it on the ground and teleports away Trixie with her to the hospital. That is when The Young 6 passed but didn’t notice there’s a note on the ground.

“Alright, I guess I gotta move on then?” Raze walk towards the next maze. He throws the note away. He continued, “Smells like crackers, though.” He sniffed.

He entered another maze part that was made by Rainbow Dash. On top of him, there’s multiple dark cloud. That gained his attention.

“Huh, what’s with this cloud? One of the décor?” he looks towards the cloud.

Suddenly, a shadow descended from the clouds. That makes Raze to watch it in confusion. As it landed, it was a skeleton. Raze just stared the skeleton.

Suddenly, another skeleton landed. Then, more and more skeleton landed.

“Is this the same as Rarity?” Rainbow Dash said in his thought.

Then, the skeletons pull out a sword. One of them shouted, “Surrender, or prepare to be banished!”

“What…?” Raze tilted his head sideways.

“Brave huh? Attack him!” the skeletons start to attack Raze. Raze just avoid every swings they did.

“The speed of the attacks is…very slow.” Raze easily dodged the attacks that were sent. As he kept dodging, he miscalculated and one skeleton manage to hit him. But it doesn’t hurt at all.

“Rubber scimitar.” He muttered. Then, he delivered one kicks to one of the skeletons, causing it to fly away. However, the cloud above the skeleton also did fly away with it, revealing a blue Pegasus is controlling a cloud.

“Hey, why did you kick my mannequin?” Rainbow Dash stared Raze in anger. She landed right in front of him.

“Sorry, I’m too occupied with fighting. Anyway, nice décor, Rainbow Dash! How did you control the skeletons at the same time…?” Raze was amazed by her controlling ability.

“Heh…a little bit of practice, of course. Anyway, I gotta fix that one back. I guess you ruined the show.” Rainbow Dash makes an annoyed face.

“Oops, my bad. Anyway, nice job, it’s impressive.” Raze said before leaving Rainbow Dash.

“You owe me, Raze!” she shouted.

“Alright, the last one for today.” Raze said as he entered the part of Twilight’s and Spike’s maze. The effort that the both sibling added were impressive. The atmosphere really gave out chills to the spine for anyone that enters the maze. The decors is already able to make someone fainted. However, Raze just passed through like nothing happened.

“Wow, this is the biggest effort I’ve seen so far.” Raze walks around.

“Raze.” A whisper passed his ears. He looked around. He replied, “Who’s there?”

Silence filled his answer. He walked around the part, totally confused. Then a sound of a walking came in. He looks to his front, a pony with his cloak on. When Raze try to gets closer, a ring of fire covered surrounded the colt.

“What the…?” Raze was totally shocked but not scared.

“To pass you must answer the riddle, wrong answer, it’s more torturing than one thousand needles.” The pony says.

Raze smirked, “Go ahead.”

“I’m a friend when I small, I’m the enemy when I’m bigger, I eat to survive and dangerous during fall, however, the water is my biggest fear. What am I?” the pony asked.

Raze put on a thoughtful look, trying to find the answer.

“The clock…is…ticking.” The pony said.

Raze smiled and replied, “Fire. They eat so they grow, give them water, they die. They friend when the small, they enemy when they’re big. They’re dangerous during fall as the leaves are totally dry.”

“Impressive. However there’s last riddle I have for you.” The pony said. They continued, “I’m dangerous when I close, however without me the life will be no more.”

Raze smiled, “The sun! They’re dangerous when up close because they’re totally hot, however, without the sun, the earth will never able to exist do the lack of sunlight and Equestria will totally freeze.”

“Congratulations!” the pony clapped their hooves. She continued, “Your prize is…”

“Wait, there’s prize?” Raze widen his eyes.

“Death.”

The ring of fire starts to get closer towards Raze. They thought it will scare him however, Raze just fly and landed in front of him.

“You’ve got to be kidding me. I have wings remember?” Raze raised his left eye brow.

“Uh…oh…yeah…you’re right.” The voice of Twilight came up. She turns down her hood, showing her actual face.

“Where’s Spike?” Raze look around.

“I’m here!” Spike said, flying on top of them. He immediately lands next to Twilight. He continued, “So…does that scares you?” Spike played with his left eye brow, raising it in repeat for two times.

“…Nope.” Raze straight-forwardly answered.

“What?!” Spike shocked. He continued, “Why?!”

“Meh, a few fires, a few scares, I don’t understand how ponies can get scared of these.” Raze shrugged.

“Well…” Twilight paused and pointed on his back. When Raze turn around, the fire ring didn’t collide, instead, the fused and formed into a giant monster of fire roaring something in front of them. However, there’s no one on the way they roared. Then it disappears.

“Ouh…my bad…should watch that till the end huh?” Raze scratched his back mane with guilt.

“No worries! It’s just a fun play isn’t it?” Twilight giggled.

“Yeah, anyways, by that I might say it’s good, but the riddles kill it. However, the fire you made earlier is the one that covered the scariness.” Raze said. He continued, “So, this is the last right?”

Both siblings nodded.

“Good! Let’s get out of here and enjoy some food!” Raze said before flying out of the maze.

After Raze left, Twilight looks toward Spike, “How my maze is not scary?!”

“Maybe we didn’t strengthen the fire light?” Spike shrugged.

After a few hours of cleaning up, everyone manage to gather around the stage that had been prepared. On the stage, Mayor Mare was giving a speech.

“…and I didn’t believe this is such a tight competition! However, there’s only one pony that can decide who is the winner for tonight. I…present to you…Raze!” Mayor said before getting of the stage leaving the stage for Raze. Everyone was excited to see the colt, however something is off but no one sees it.

“H-Hello, everyone! *cough* I didn’t believe I would be the one that would decide and become the tiebreaker for tonight’s event. I think this might be the longest night that ever exists!” Raze said.

“Urm…Twilight…? Doesn’t Raze seem…a little bit nervous?” Applejack whispers. Twilight focused on the colt, Applejack was right. The colt is trembling a little bit.
“Meh…maybe he’s a little bit nervous. That’s all!” Twilight replied.

Back on the stage, Raze finally ends his speech.

“Alright, to end today’s event…I’m going to be honest.” Raze said.

That brings tense to the competitors and the audience. Raze cleared his throat, “I’m sorry. I it’s still a tie.”

“WHAT?!” the whole audience shouted including the princesses.

“I know! I know! It’s just…all of them were good! But it didn’t manage to scare me! However, the efforts that were put in the competition impressed me. Everyone was working so hard to win the competition especially for those two ladies over there.” Raze look towards Rainbow Dash and Applejack who blushed in embarrassment. He continued, “But…this event is what’s brought us closer. This kind of event is what brings ponies mind together! We should be happy this event were created as it brings everyone together no matter what races you are, what kind you are. We are conjoined in these events that brought us together. Just like the time where Pegasus, unicorn and earth pony kind working together during the night of the defeated Wendigos. I’m sorry once again, I just can’t choose, however, the competition are tight and really make me impressed. Raze…out.”

Silence for a few minutes.

“So who’s the winner?” Rainbow Dash shouted.

“W-What? Excuse me?” Raze raised his left eye brow.

“Yeah, who’s the winner?” Applejack asked in curiosity.

“It’s a tie!” Raze shouted.

A few Awhh and disappointment can be heard.

“Hey, I know it’s sad but we’re together tonight don’t we? Why don’t we enjoy the night?” Raze trying to bring their hope back. This time, Raze cutie marks glow like it was releasing something. Suddenly, everyone smiled and cheered.

“Wait, does Raze mark…glowing?” Twilight muttered. That brought the attention of the other Main 7 attention. As they look towards Raze, they also realize that Raze mark is glowing.

“What the hay? Is that supposed to happen?” Applejack said while scratching his back mane.

“I don’t know…should we call Princess Celestia?” Rarity suggested.

“I don’t think we should. Maybe we’ll talk about it…later.” Twilight replied before they walk towards the dine area that had been prepared by the Apple Family.

Celestia and Luna however, they walk towards Raze.

“So, how do you feel?” Celestia asked.

“Great! I’ve never feel great like this night!” Raze replied in excitement.” Raze said. He continued, “Even though, there’s one thing that managed to scare me.”

“What was it?” Luna stared him with curiosity.

“Have the girls left yet?” Raze look around.

“Yes, why did you ask?” Celestia look at him in confusion.

“Good, I’m actually had a very bad stage fright. So…” Raze paused.

“So…?” both sisters look at him curiously.

Suddenly, Raze dropped dead, fainted with foams on his mouth. That makes both sisters to panic.

“Help, someone send a help! This colt right here needs a help!” Celestia shouted while touching Raze limp body. No one expected that he’s very scared of stage that it would make him fainted.

After the night ended, The Main 7 had already asleep except for one pony, Fluttershy. She is waiting outside the castle for someone. After the door was opened, it was Raze, with a messy hair (after manage to wake up from the faints) happen to see her.

During the time where they were enjoying the food, Fluttershy asked if she can meet Raze outside the Castle of Friendship. Raze just agrees.

“So, why do you want to see me?” Raze smiled.

“Urm…I want to ask…uhh…would you help me tomorrow?” she smiled.

“Sure, but…how do I help exactly?” Raze scratched his back mane in confusion.

“Urm…I have to send a few amounts of animals to their habitat. However, there’s too many of them and I’m overwhelmed. I don’t want to ask Discord because I’m afraid he would send them in the wrong place. But the girls will be busy tomorrow. So, I decided to ask for your help. Would help me?” She asked.

“Oh sure! Where should we meet then?” Raze gave a warm smile.

“We meet at my animal sanctuary this morning. It would be lovely if you can help me.” Fluttershy smiled.

“Alright, see you then!” Raze said before entering the castle.

“Bye!” Fluttershy replied before starts flying home.

However, without they both knowing, the next day would surprise both mare and colt because of an unexpected event that would brought both of them…closer.

The lamest story for today bruh. I swear I kept losing my motivation...However this might be the last fastest chapter I've ever deliver. From now on, You MAY not see another chapter at all. However, I will keep progressing the story slowly because I have something bigger to pursuit. Let me be honest, if there's no upload at all...I maybe gave up.
