Somewhere in PonyVille, there’s one shy Pegasus that lives in a cottage near EverFree Forest. Her name is Fluttershy. Known for the ability to talk with animals, she always being called everytime there’s a ruckus that has something to do with the animals. But today, on a few days before winter, she has to deliver a few amounts of animal around Equestria on their own habitat. However, she is waiting for another presence that has promised that they will help her aiding on this journey.

“Where is Raze? We don’t want it to be late now don’t we?” Fluttershy looks around, waiting for the alicorn to arrive.

Suddenly, a sonic rainboom occurred in the sky. That grabbed Fluttershy’s and the animal attention.

“I-Is that sonic rainboom…? Why Rainbow Dash want to do something like that in the morning?” Fluttershy tapped her chin

Suddenly, she heard a strong wind swift coming from the sky. She looks to the sky, her eyes widened. Something was heading towards her at rapid speed. She shrieked and immediately ducks as it fly past her head. The thing crashed on a tree near Fluttershy. After Fluttershy look behind her, she was shocked to see Raze leaning back against a tree, with his eyes rolling like a cartoon character with birds flying above him.

“Raze!” The Pegasus shouted as she run towards the colt. She flapped her right wing to make the birds flew away. She continued, “Are you okay…?”

Raze immediately stand up, making her startled, “I’m not late! I’m not late….!” He looks around, “Am I late…?”

Fluttershy just giggled as Raze panicked around. She replied, “No, you’re not, Raze. You arrived in time!” she gave him a warm smile.

“Really…? I performed a sonic rainboom just to get here in time.” Raze scratched his back mane.

“Wait…so you are the one who did the sonic rainboom…?” Fluttershy widens her eyes.

“Yeah…my clock says its 10 am. I should be here at 7 am don’t I…?” Raze still confused.

“I guess the time on the clock was wrong. It’s actually 6 am now.” Fluttershy tilted her head in confusion.

“Ugh…that clock must be wrong. I’ll fix it when I get back.” Raze grunted. He pulled out a food bag.

“Where did you get that?” Fluttershy look towards the food bag.

“Twilight gave it to me before I came here. She said enjoy the food.” Raze said while munching over the sandwich. He pouted, “Hmm…its cucumber sandwich. I miss my old sardine sandwich.”

“Come on, Raze. There’s more than a sardine sandwich that you can eat!” Fluttershy try to lighten up Raze’s mood.

“Yeah, you’re right.” Raze smiled. He gulped down the sandwich and look towards the mare, “So….what we’re going to do?”

“We will send these animals in this wagon across Equestria.” Fluttershy said while holding a little mocking jay on her hoof.

“How many creatures we had to send?” Raze scratched his back mane.

“Hmmm…theres ten of them!” she lightly smile.

“Across…Equestria…?” Raze eyes widened.

“Mhm!” Fluttershy replied.

“So this is going to take a few days isn’t it?” Raze raised his left eye brow.

“Yup!” Fluttershy replied excitedly.

Raze grunted.

“What’s wrong? Do you have problems to go around Equestria?” Fluttershy tries to comfort the reformed villian.

“Well…” Raze pauses, feeling awkward to tell her. He continued, “I…was wanted on some parts outside of Equestria…”

She gasped, “Really…?”

“Yeah…I don’t know if they know that I’m reformed or not.” Raze scratched his back mane.

“Why don’t you ask Princess Celestia?” she tilted her head a little bit.

“Well…my friendship with Princess Celestia isn’t that great yet to ask her anything.” Raze gave an awkward smile. He continued, “Plus…I’m a liiiiiiiiiittle bit shy.”

Fluttershy just giggled. She replied, “Alright, don’t worry, we can tell Twilight to send a scroll to-”

“Already did!” Twilight revealed herself instantly, causing Raze and Fluttershy to startle.

“Twilight, how long you have been listening to our talk?!” Raze widen his eyes in disbelief.

“Meh, I have been following you from the castle.” Twilight said while writing something in her note.

“Uhh…what are you writing…?” Raze look towards Twilight note.

“Oh, just some things that I want to list before Hearth’s Warming!” Twilight said before teleports the scroll away. She continued, “I heard you guys want to go across Equestria! Can I join?”

Fluttershy smiled, “Oh sure! It’s not-”

“Twilight!” Starlight appears from teleportation magic causing them to startle.

“Starlight!!!!!” Raze and Twilight shouts in unison.

“What?” Starlight raised her left eye brow. She shakes her head, “There’s no time for that! Trixie needs help!”

“What…? What happened?” Twilight asked.

“There’s no time!” Starlight touched Twilight’s shoulder then charged her horn to teleport.

“What?! But I-”

Before Twilight could say anything, Starlight immediately teleported both of them somewhere else. Both Raze and Fluttershy just stand there totally confused. However, they immediately snapped out of it.

“Uhh…should we…?” Fluttershy felt awkward.

“I think we should. We don’t want to be late alright?” Raze try to change the topic.

“You’re right…” Fluttershy agreed. She continued, “Come on, let’s go to the Saddle Arabia first, we need to meet Daring Do because this animal live in a habitat that filled with sand pit. We need her guidance so we don’t fall into one.”

“Hold on, we can fly right? Why we need to worry about falling into a sand pit…?” Raze is confused.

“This animal is scared of height, which would bring a total disaster when we were flying, second, this animal lives in a sand pit and lastly, this creature is a little bit sticky. I’m afraid if we manage to send one, our hand will stick to it pulling us into the pit.” Fluttershy explained. Then she show a cage of a creature that look like a hybrid of snake and slime.

“Is that a Slake?” Raze eyes widened.

“Yes!” Fluttershy said before putting back the cage on the wagon. She continued, “Come on, we don’t want to be late! I’ll continue the talk about these animals in the train.”

“Oh yeah, you’re right.” Raze said before both colt and mare walk together towards the train station.

“All abroad! The station is going to leave, mares and gentleponies! Enter the train quickly so you wouldn’t miss it!” say one of the train conductors. Multiple ponies immediately enters the train in hurry, doesn’t to be left behind. In the other side of the train track, there is a train specialize for Raze and Fluttershy to store the animals. The ambience was filled with bird chirps. Raze and Fluttershy roam around the track.

“Why there so many bird here?” Raze look around.

“Most of them were on migration. So I had to send them back where they live so they don’t have to spend time in the cold sanctuary.” Fluttershy said while looking towards one of the birds.

“Oh…” Raze take a seat next to the slime snake. He stared for a few while. The snake also stared Raze. The snake then pops out its tongue a little bit.

“Awhh…” Raze pouted.

Then Raze walk to the next train track, took a seat and looked outside as the train starts leaving the station. Fluttershy took a seat on Raze opposite direction and look towards him. It’s was a silent ride for a few minutes. Both of them were occupied by their own thought.

“So…how’s your life lately?” Fluttershy tries to bring out a topic for a conversation.

“Pretty good, I got a job recently at the School of Friendship as a teacher as theory class teacher.” Raze still looking outside.

“Wow, that’s good to hear!” Fluttershy smiled.

Raze continued, looking at Fluttershy, “Yeah but there’s only six students alright?”

“Really…? The other student might still haven’t like you yet.” She looked at Raze with an empathy look.

“Meh, I don’t mind. Besides, I ask Starlight to make that class as an extra class that available if you anyone wants to join.” Raze just gave a weak smile, still staring outside.

Fluttershy also looked outside, wondering why the colt is so occupied by the view.

“Why do you look so occupied by the outside view?” Fluttershy asks while looking outside, looking for something that interest Raze so much.

“I just like the view. To be honest, I love the view! It brings my imagination and it calms me down.” He simply replied. Then he opened the window, letting in wind blowing their hair. It was breezy and calming. The soft wind passes their face, giving a great chill vibe.

“It’s breezy isn’t it?” Raze said.

“Yup.” Fluttershy agrees. There’s nothing that more calming than a soft wind passes through her face.

Silence once again filled upon them. Neither of them talks as they want to save up energy when they arrive at the destination. Do talking even waste energy…?

The train finally arrived in Saddle Arabia. Raze is sleeping when Fluttershy immediately shakes his body to wake him up.

“Raze, wake up. We finally arrived.” Fluttershy gently shakes the colt body.

“Huh…? What…? Arrived where…?” Raze said, half sleepy.

“Saddle Arabia, Raze. We got to take the animals and find Daring Do.” Fluttershy said.

“*yawn* Alright, let’s get the animals.” Raze walk towards the track where they put the animals with Fluttershy following him from behind.

Raze and Fluttershy were walking and enjoying the lovely view of the desert scenery. Sometimes they grab some food and listening to some pony that plays music. After a few while, they stand near the statue of Somnambula.

“Come on…where is she…?” Raze tapping his left hoof in worries.

Finally, one dark gold Pegasus can be seen flying towards them.

“Sorry for being late! I didn’t mean to be late but Ahuizotl need me to deal with some stuff that nearly fell into a pit of lava.” Daring replied.

“Alright, alright, now come on, let’s find this sand pit area and send this Slake.” Raze said.

They walk towards another side of the desert as the slime snake hybrid is afraid of height.

In the middle of the desert, they walk as the heat slowly stinging their body. Fluttershy and Raze has been sweating so much but Daring Do doesn’t seem to sweat at all. Daring is still trying to navigate the desert with a map.

Raze look towards Daring in disbelief, “How you can handle this heat…?”

“Meh, I have faced worse. This is just a little heat.” Daring Do said while looking at the map. She looks around, trying to find something.

“It says here we will arrive in a few more minutes.” Daring Do rolled the map and put it on her back.

“A few more minutes…? I hope I can survive that without dehydration.” Raze make a displeased face.

“Oh come on. How a colt like you could get defeated by two mares? Are you a weakling?” Daring Do said, trying to raise Raze motivation.

“Maybe I’m a weakling.” Raze replied, didn’t feel angry at all.

Both Fluttershy and Daring Do eyes widened hearing the reply from that alicorn.

“Whoa, hold on there, it’s just a joke.” Daring Do said trying to prevent any sad feeling.

“A joke that was made might be true.” Raze didn’t hesitate.

Daring realize it’s a true mistake that can’t be reversed.

“However, this weakling can fight you know? *chuckles*” Raze said trying to lighten up the mood.

Both mares just chuckle nervously - afraid Daring might nearly lower Raze self-esteem.

“Anyway, is there any shortcut we can use? The dehydration part is not a joke though.” Raze said while looking around in frustration.

“Oh, here some water I brought.” Fluttershy said, pulling out a water bottle from the animal wagon.

“Why do you have to bring the other animals with us? I thought were sending one animal!” Raze ask to his confusion.

“I don’t want these animals to be left alone. We might spend time in the desert for too long that they would starve or get away or…they’ll get kidnapped!” Fluttershy share her thought.

Both Raze and Daring Do just rolled their eyes to their annoyance.

Daring Do whispered to Raze, “There’s actually an animal guardian service around here.”

“Yeah, I know.” Raze replied.

They kept walking even though its starts to get hotter.

The sun is high up in the sky and the three ponies just arrived at the sand pit. They look in amazement as the sand pits look like it was swirling.

“Wow, this is such beautiful scenery!” Raze said in amazement.

“And terrifying…” Fluttershy added with her eyes widened in fear.

“Welcome to the Sand Pit-nambula!” Daring pauses and scratched her back mane awkwardly, “At least what I call it.”

Raze just chuckled. He speaks up, “Alright, let’s find this little one a house for him to live. We have to send the others quick. We don’t want to miss the Hearth’s Warming Eve next week don’t we?”

Both Fluttershy and Daring Do nodded.

“Fluttershy, you can wait here. Daring Do, let’s find the best place for this Slake to live.” Raze said.

“Alright, I think before we go you should take this.” Daring Do passes Raze a rope.

“What this thing gonna do?” Raze asked while holding the rope.

“These sand pits are no ordinary sand pit. These sand pits are cursed with magic.” Daring Do said.

“What so cursed about it…?” Raze raised his left eye brow.

“These sands somehow make your wings unable to move and prevent any unicorn magic to be cast.” Daring Do explains.

“Really…?” Raze eyes widened.

“I know the last unicorn that sinks in the sand.” Daring Do said.

That brought silence upon Raze and Fluttershy.

“Okay, let’s not waste any more time.” Raze said. He lifted the Slake cage with his magic.

“Alright, come on.” Daring Do replied.

Both mare and colt walks away, leaving the yellow mare to wait for them to get back.

When they’re walking around the sand pit area, Raze is looking around, trying to see any magic particles coming out form the sand pits. Daring on the other hand, she’s trying to find the best spot to put the Slake.

Daring Do was looking around until she sees Raze and shouted, “Watch out!”

Raze freezes and look towards Daring Do, “Why?”

Daring Do pointed towards the sand under Raze. Raze looked and has his eyes widened. He nearly got himself trapped into one of the sand pit.

“…that…was close…” Raze break a little sweat. He look towards Daring Do with a grateful face, “Thanks, I don’t know what will happen if you’re not here.”

“No problem. Come on, I think I find the best spot to put this slake.” Daring walks while carefully looking around the sand pits. Both colt and mare starts walking around to find the best spot.

Fluttershy was sitting next to her animal’s wagon when she was talking with one of her animal bird while drinking a tea (that somehow appears out of nowhere).

“*giggles* Mister Hawk, that was such a funny joke!*giggles*” Fluttershy covered her mouth while giggling.

Suddenly, another bird interrupted. A mocking jay seems to speak up in a bird whistle. After the bird finishes, Fluttershy eyes widened, “W-What…? What did you day…?”

The bird chirp and whistles like it was talking to Fluttershy. After it finishes, Fluttershy eyes getting even more widened and her face flustered.

“What do you mean Raze seems suits with me…?” Fluttershy raised her left eye brow, still a little bit flustered.

The bird just nodded.

“How would you say that? You barely even know him and I don’t even know him very well.” Fluttershy look towards the bird in confusion.

The bird chirp and whistles once again in reply.

“*chuckles* alright miss, how you can say he is a very suitable person for me?” Fluttershy just smirked towards the bird in disbelief. The conversation keeps going on, slowly bringing a tense on Fluttershy.

Raze and Daring Do stands in front of a large sand pit that for sake Celestia would die if she steps in.

“This…is the biggest sand pit I’ve ever seen.” Raze widen his eyes.

“Yes and it was perfect! Just look at the snake acting crazy!” Daring Do looked towards the Slake that hiss in excitement.

“I guess you were right…” Raze sees the Slake that still excited. He look towards the giant sand pit, “Alright, let’s do this fast and secure. Come on little one.” Raze passed the cage. He immediately held the rope with his mouth and talks, “Aright Daring Do, take the Slek en relise it ther! (Alright Daring Do, take the Slake and release it there!)

“Alright,” Daring Do jumped on the rope, hung herself with her right wing and carried the cage with her left wing with her legs and forelegs going around the rope.

“Be careful, I don’t want to be the part of the historical artifacts.” Daring Do said.

“Pray enoug so yer won be won (Pray enough so you won’t be one).” Raze replied.

Daring Do’s eyes widened and she lets out a big gulp. Raze slowly flying over the sand pit and biting the rope tightly, trying not to let the rope loosen from his mouth. He stops at the middle of the sand pit, slowly descending, properly giving a distance between the sand and Daring for her to release the Slake. Raze slowly descends.

“Alright, it’s low enough!” Daring shouted, making Raze to stop descending. Daring Do opened the cage, “Alright little one, you’re free to go.”

The slake jump out, diving into the sand pit, never to be seen again. Daring smiled and look towards Raze, “Alright, we can go back.”

Raze starts to fly back. Suddenly, Daring’s legs slipped, giving her no time to react and making her to fall into the pit.

“Help-!” She shouted. Raze looked down and panicked. He try to fly towards Daring Do but she shouted, “No, Don’t-! This sand pit is cursed remember?!”

That caused Raze to panic but Daring didn’t move at all. She is staying calm while waiting Raze to help her. Raze remembered he had a rope in his mouth and immediately hover over Daring.

Cetcsh dis!! (Catch this!)” Raze said before throwing the rope end in front of Daring Do. Daring bite the rope ends tightly. Raze pulled the rope immediately. Daring Do was able to be pulled but she is slowly came out even Raze is using his whole power.

“This…sand…is…so rough and hard?!” Raze said in his thought while pulling Daring with all of his might. Daring also tried to pull the rope, trying their best.

“I hope Fluttershy…was here…!” Raze starts to tremble.

“But I don’t think I am…” Fluttershy still argue with the bird.

The bird chirp starts to louder.

“Mrs. Jay, I don’t think that is a good idea to immediately ask him that you know?” Fluttershy smiled shyly. She looks around and muttered, “Speaking of him, why Daring and Raze haven’t come back yet?” she said with concern.

The bird chirped again.

“Oh…? You want to go see on them?” Fluttershy replied. The bird nodded.

“Alright, but don’t take it too long. It’s hot out here.” Fluttershy said. The bird nodded. Fluttershy opened the bird cage, letting the mocking jay fly out. When the bird was trying to find Raze and Daring, Fluttershy shouted, “Be careful miss Jay!”

Raze and Daring Do, both ponies trying hard either helping or saving themselves.

“This…sand is so…freaking strong!” Raze said while still trying to pull the rope.

“I had tried myself, this and it’s very, very…sticky! It won’t let go of me!” Daring said while holding the rope and pulling it at the same time. From far away, the bird can be seen flying around trying to find the presence of the white alicorn and the dark gold Pegasus. As the bird saw both of the ponies, it immediately turn back in panic as it saw that Raze and Daring Do indeed, need a help. Raze there, still trying his best to pull the rope, giving everything he can with hope someone will come by helping them.

Fluttershy was delighted when she saw the mocking jay bird returns. But her smile faded away as she saw the bird doesn’t look happy. The bird flies in front of Fluttershy and start chirping in panic.

Fluttershy eyes widened, “*gasped* Raze and Daring Do is in danger?! Quick, show me where they’re!”

When the bird start to fly, the timid Pegasus warn the other bird, “You guys stay here. I need to help my friends.” She flies away, following the tail of the bird.

Both mare and colt are still struggling to pull the rope with Daring Do still slowly descends into the sand pit and Raze followed from behind.

“Raze!” a voice came from behind. Raze turned around and smiled while still biting on the rope. Fluttershy was tailing a mocking jay bird, came in time to help him save Daring Do. She pulls the rope too, but it seems that she doesn’t make any change at all.

“Shy, are you even pulling?!” Daring shouted.

“I’m…trying my…best!” she struggled. However, her pull doesn’t even do any forces.

While the trio still struggling at the sand pit, the bird turn around to go back.

“Miss Jay, where do you think you are going?!” Fluttershy shouts as the bird slowly disappears from her sight.

“Forget about the bird, we need to help Daring Do first, Fluttershy!” Raze said after changing his pulling position by pulling the rope with his hooves (How they even do that???).

Daring Do on the sand immediately shouted, “Just release the rope, there’s nothing you can do!”

“No, we can’t just let you drown in the sand pit!” Raze shouted in panic.

“You will never able to save me with two ponies! You can’t do anything, Raze! Just let me go!” she shouted back.

“No!” Raze start to form up a tear. He can’t let another mistake to occur again. There have been enough problems that caused a lost by him but now, he can’t withstand to lose another one.

Slowly, Daring Do’s face sinks into the sand pit.

Raze keep repeating no in fear, “Nononononono…”

He dropped a tear. He was praying for miracles to happen. Suddenly, an eagle screams can be heard. Raze turned around. He sees multiple birds are following a lead of one single obvious green small bird, a mocking jay. The bird immediately commanded (chirpishly) and the other bird immediately followed its command then immediately flies towards the rope and pulls it alongside with Raze and Fluttershy. Slowly, Daring Do resurfaced from the sand pit, ascending and pulled away from the deadly sand. After a few minutes, they manage to pull Daring Do out from the sand. Raze, Fluttershy and Daring Do breathed in and out at a fast pace, showing how tired they are.

Raze look towards the green bird with a grateful look, “Thanks little one. If you didn’t help, I think we wouldn’t able to help Daring Do.”

The bird chirped back.

“I guess that’s your welcome. *chuckles*” Raze appreciate the help from the bird.

“*cough**cough* ugh…can any of you…*cough* lend me a hand?” Daring said while still coughing out a sand dust.

Raze give her gentle pat to the back, making her let out more sand. After a few cough she speaks up, “Dang, I thought I would be an artifact for a minute.” She looks towards Raze and saw his eyes were red.

“Did you just…cry?” Daring looked at him with sad eyes.

Raze eyes widened and he immediately denied, “N…No! There just some…some dust caught in my eyes.”

Daring raised her right eyebrow in suspicion. However, Fluttershy immediately interrupted, “How did you fall into the sand?”

“Well, my leg kinda slip off and I fell into the sand.” Daring said.

“Yeah, that was a pure luck that this little bird right here,” Raze to look towards the green mocking jay, “just came in time with other group of birds to help.” He gave the bird a little pat to its head.

“Thanks birdie.” Daring said towards the little bird. She continued, “Welp, I guess that is the only reptiles in here. Now how about you guys get back to the town and send another animal in another region?”

“Yeah, but I guess we need a little sleep at the nearest hotel. I’m…pretty tired.” Raze scratch behind his ear.

“Yeah sure, there’s a hotel just right next to a bazaar but a little miles away.” Daring said.

“Nice, I’ll pay for the room cost.” Raze said.

“W-well…d…do you even have money?” Fluttershy asks.

“*chuckles* no worries, the school paid me enough for me to buy two room for two days and one night.” Raze replied calmly.

“Oh, I didn’t know you work at the School of Friendship.” Fluttershy eyes widened.

“Meh, I just got a little less payment as my class is like…a simple theory class where student can choose to attend or not.” Raze explained the truth about his classes. “But…we better get back; I will explain everything about my class when we got to the hotel.” Raze immediately remind Fluttershy that they still have more animal to send and they need a rest.

“I guess you’re right. Daring, can you show us where the hotel is?” Fluttershy look towards the famous novel writer.

“Yeah, come on, but I’ll sure these birds to be in a cage while we were sleeping.” Daring said.

“Oh don’t worry! they can live with me in the hotel room.” Fluttershy replied.

“Alright, I supposed we can’t deny that you don’t want me to send them to the pet guardian huh?” Daring Do said.

Fluttershy just smiled happily.

Somewhere in Shomnambula, during midnight when everyone was asleep, Raze was awake, staring towards the moon through the mirror of the hotel that located next to a large oasis. He stared the moon for a few while. He recalls again the time he fights with Chrysalis’s Army before he met with Twilight and her friends all by himself.

A few years back before Twilight met with Raze or captured by Chrysalis.

Somewhere near the hives. A few changelings can be seen flying towards one figure near the hives. There’s a hundred and thousand can be seen flying close to the figure. However, every changeling that gets close immediately evaporate or torn apart. Chrysalis, the Leader of The Changeling, landed not far from the figure.

“WHAT IS THIS ALL ABOUT?! WHY YOU CAN’T DO YOUR JOB BETTER?!” she dragged one of the changelings.

“W-Well…h-he…he is destroying our battalion of army! We thought we could defeat him but he’s like…untouchable!” the changeling replied.

“Ugh…get aside! I will show you how it’s done. After I finish him, we shall see where would be a perfect place for a weakling like you.” She said after put the changeling next to her.

“EVERYONE GETS ASIDE! I’M GOING TO FINISH THIS IMBECILE RIGHT NOW!” Chrysalis loads up her magic and shoots out a strong beam. All of the changeling immediately fly aside, avoiding the beam. The beam reached the figure and hit it right away causing them to roll backwards because of the strong collision between them and the magic. Chrysalis gets closer towards the figure that still stunned away. However, when she finally got close enough, the figure immediately stand up, leaping towards Chrysalis and pinned her down to the ground with their horn pointed towards her. The other changeling try to get closer but the figure immediately speaks in threatening voice, “Move at inch, my blast will not be as weak as a pinch.”

A strong wind came in, blowing their hood, revealing Raze as the intruder.

“What do you want?!” Chrysalis looked at him with hatred.

Raze smirked, “I heard you just lost with Twilight and her friends at the early wedding battle.”

“How do you know that?” Chrysalis groaned.

“Gossip spread like a disease you know? Sometimes…”

A magic blast was send behind him. One Changeling tried to attacks from behind but it seems failed. He turned back.

“Well, I say your army is weak and brainless despite the quantity.” Raze didn’t hesitate to spit the harsh word.

“Who do you think you’re saying weak and brainless?!” Chrysalis try fight back but Raze pinned her down like a piece of cake.

“Well, your strategy is very good but yet…stupid.” Raze replied. He continued, “How about I gave you an offer?”

“I will not accept your offer!” Chrysalis immediately rejects.

“Ugh.” Raze rolled his eyes speaks up, “Listen first. This will benefit you and your hives.”

Chrysalis looked at him for a few minutes. She replied, “Speak for yourself now.”

“Good.” Raze stand up and letting go the Changeling Queen to stand. Raze immediately warn, “Try to do anything funny, your whole bloodline will be history.”

Chrysalis just looked towards him and speaks, “What ideas you want to tell me?”

“Alright, in exchange of changeling magic and I will tell you.” He offered.

“WHAT?! THERE’S NO WAY I WILL GAVE UP MY SECRET MAGIC TO A PEASANTS LIKE YOU!” Chrysalis shouted.

“Oh well, I guess you don’t want to have your revenge huh?” Raze try to walk away.

Slowly, Raze walks away, leaving Chrysalis in dilemma. After a few meters, Chrysalis speaks up in desperate voice, “Alright!”

Raze smirked and turned his head around.

“Tell me and I give you the magic.” She said while looking at Raze with hatred.

“Good.” Raze approach Chrysalis slowly and stared her while smirking, rubbing the victory to convince the queen. She looks behind her, “Pharynx!”

The changeling guard leader came close. She ordered him to bring the magic scroll which is immediately listens and bring a scroll on her. She lifted the scroll and hover it towards Raze. When Raze about to take it with his magic, Chrysalis simply tug the scroll back immediately and speaks, “But I demand what you had promised.”

Raze smiled, “Sure. Hand me the scroll first.”

“Why should I?” Chrysalis stared him with distrust.

“Because if you don’t hand over the scroll, I won’t tell you~” Raze said in a mocking tune.

She gritted her teeth and throws the scroll which was quickly catched by Raze. He reads the scroll and nodded, “Yep, Clover’s imitating spells. Thanks.” He saved the scroll inside his bag. He cleared his throat and speaks up, “Alright, as I promised. To win this battle, replace them.”

“Replace who?” Chrysalis was dumbfounded.

“Replace the bearer for the Elements of Harmony, buggo.” Raze replied. He continued, “Don’t replace, Twilight, you start by replacing one of the weakest bearer. You know her.”

“That dumb looking Pink pony?” Chrysalis asked.

“Nah, you replace Rarity.” Raze said calmly.

“And how is that?” Chrysalis gets closer, slowly getting interested in this plan.

Raze smirked, “Easy, you try to mimic her movement and acts. Invite one of the hardest members to the house that you had replaced, and simply replace your other target. One. By. One.”

“How do I replace the Princess of Love and his husband including those two siblings of sun and moon one?”

“*chuckles* Do the same, idiot! But be more prepared as they might give a harder fight. If I may suggest…” Raze pauses. He then continued,

“…attack them while they’re asleep.”

He shakes his head. He turns around and jumps into the bed. He wriggles like a worm and slowly falling asleep.

In Raze dream

He was surrounded by darkness. He never felt so scared in his life before. In this darkness, it was cold and empty. He can stand but it seems there’s nothing he was standing on. It’s just the void. Suddenly, a few breathing can be heard. When he turns around, he saw a silhouette running away as soon Raze saw them.

“Hey, wait!” He shouted and immediately chases the figure right away. However, he tripped causing him to roll, losing sight of the figure.

After he stands up, he felt something wet on his hooves. He looked down to see water formed a little puddle. He looked to the front and has his eyes widened; the bearers for the Element of Harmony were frozen in ice. He took a few steps back in confusion and fear.

“W-What…?” he muttered. He accidentally bumped into something. He turned around, Celestia and Luna also frozen in the ice.

“W-What is this…? Why did everyone frozen in ice?” He said with full fear. Suddenly, he hear a heavy breathing, he turned around. One ice blue eyes was staring him with flat, cold stare.

“Who…are…you…?” He muttered. The figure didn’t reply, its horn glowed and blasted a magic towards Raze which causing him to slowly sending him into the frozen ice.

“NonononoononNONONONONO!” Raze repeated while slowly looking at the silhouette, slowly retreating into the darkness.

Raze wake up like someone just drop an ice of cold water on top of his head. He looked around in shock and fear. He starts to form a cold sweat on his head. Again, he looked around. There’s nothing.

“What did I just dream…?” Raze said while still tremble a little.

Daring Do and Fluttershy already waits at the train station while Raze finally arrived, gasping for air after a long flight from the hotel to the station.

“Anyway, thanks again for helping us with the animal, Daring Do.” Fluttershy said, finishing her talk with Daring Do. She turned her head to see Raze that still gasping for air that you could say he wouldn’t want to leave single oxygen that pass through go a waste.

“What took you so long to wake up?” Daring Do looked at Raze that still gasping for air.

“Well,” Raze took a very deep breath and continued, “Sorry, had a little nightmare and forgot to pack my item last night.”

“What kind of nightmare?” Fluttershy look towards Raze with concern.

“Well…I rather not talk.” Raze replied, didn’t feel comfortable to talk about his nightmarish dream. He tried to change off the topic, “How about we…go towards the next place? I want to finish this early. I can’t wait to have a break this winter.”

“Alright, Raze.” Fluttershy said.

“All Abroad!” a voice came from the train.

“Bye Daring!” Fluttershy said before catching up with Raze that already gone inside the train.

Their next destination is pretty simple. Well, not for Raze actually. You know what happen on the last chapter so…for spoilers…next destination is the Crystal Empire.

“Wait…WE’RE GOING TO CRYSTAL EMPIRE?!” Raze shouted after Fluttershy told him their next destination which brings other creature attention. Raze realize and lets out a little cough to his own embarrassment with a slight pink blush on his cheek. He continued, “Are you serious? This is just a joke right?”

“Nope, these birds were meant to be sent there. I don’t want to give them away but Cadance insisted that she will treat the birds with care.” Fluttershy replied calmly.

“Can I…not follow you to the castle…?” Raze let out a forced smile.

“No problem! But I need your help to pull the wagon later.” Fluttershy replied.

“So…does that mean I can leave after helping you?” Raze asked.

“Mhmm.” Fluttershy calmly replied.

“Oh sweet chaos, I thought I would stay to help with the birds.” Raze leaned back against the train couch.

Somewhere in the chaos realm, a draconequus that wearing a fishing clothes ear was twitches, felling someone just mentioned his name.

“Why oh why…? I thought someone just said sweet chaos for a minute.” He pauses for a minute. He smiled, “Finally, somepony who appreciate my power besides Fluttershy!” then continue to…well…un-fishing at some upside down lake in the realm.

In the Crystal Empire, Raze and Fluttershy were walking among the crystal ponies. Raze however, raised his cloak to hide his face from the public. When they walk around, they can see a poster of Raze hanging around with an order written on them:

Anycreature that saw this pony/alicorn, please report them to the royalty immediately.

‘I’m screwed so badly.’ Raze said in his thought.

“We finally arrived!” Fluttershy grinned. Raze look towards the royalty castle, it’s was such a pretty sight for anyone from the outsider. His amazement though, didn’t last long. Cadance can be seen came down from the nearest elevator (Which Raze think it was called). That brought Raze to immense panic. However, he remained calm as the sudden run reaction will not end well.

“Fluttershy, it was good to see you!” Cadance said while giving Fluttershy a warm, welcoming hug.

“Thank you, Princess Ca-”

“Just Cadance.” The Princess of Love corrected.

“Thank you, Cadance.” Fluttershy replied. Cadance realize that a colt was standing behind Fluttershy while pulling a wagon, which cause Raze to break a little sweat.

“Hello, who are you…? Why you seems…” Cadance try to get a closer look which making Raze to slowly panic. Fortunately, a stallion voice can be heard behind Cadance, “Honey, wait!”

Cadance turn around, which make Raze to let out a sigh of relief.

“What’s wrong, Shining Armor?” Cadance look towards the white stallion in confusion.

“You left me back there, I was preparing to help and you took the elevator and left me up there.” He groaned.

“Sorry, I just can’t wait when I see Fluttershy and…” Cadance eyes widened se turned around and look towards Raze that still has his hood on. “I forgot to ask who you are. What’s your name?”

“Oh, his name is” Fluttershy said before cut off by Raze, “My name is…uhh…Moonlight Sonata!”

“But…” Fluttershy try to interfere but her mouth were shut by Raze hoof, “I like to sing and stuff but yeah, my friend Fluttershy here need help so I help her! She says I can deliver until here. So…”

“Oh…alright thanks, Moonlight! While you’re here, how about you have some,”

“Nothankyou!” Raze gave an awkward smile causing a silence to bellow upon them.

“…okay…?” Shining Armor scratches his back head and look towards Fluttershy, “Fluttershy, do you want to help us later?”

“Of course! You guys can go first; I will talk with my friend for a second.” She gave them a smile which replied by Shining Armor and Cadance with a slight nod, leaving Fluttershy and Raze alone. Fluttershy turned around to look towards Raze with a puzzled look, “Why do you change your name?”

Raze let out a sigh and show a poster that looked like his face (that drawn by a child I think) which you know, a wanted poster.

“Oh my, that was unfortunate…” Fluttershy pupils get smaller as she sees the poster.

“I know. But now, you can go after Cadance, just tell them I take a little walk around the Empire.” Raze said before departed to have a walk around the Empire.

That left Fluttershy speechless.

In the Crystal Empire garden, Cadance and Shining Armor have been waiting for Fluttershy when she finally arrived to the garden.

“Fluttershy, you finally arrived!” Cadance said but her smile changed into a confused face. She looks like trying to find someone. Cadance walk towards Fluttershy and asked, “Where is Moonlight?”

“Uh…uhm…he’s…he’s taking a walk around the empire.” She replied timidly.

“Oh really…? Oh well. Anyway, can I…talk with you for a second…privately?” Cadance asked.

“Oh sure, what is it, princess?” Fluttershy look towards Cadance with a puzzled look.

Cadance gets closer to Fluttershy and whispered, “Does Raze come with you here?”

“WHAT?!” Fluttershy shouted causing Shining Armor to turn around. Cadance immediately waved, giving a sign there’s nothing to worry about. Fluttershy immediately covered her mouth, realizing she’s being too loud.

She whispered back, “Why do you ask that?”

“I heard Twilight and you girls manage to reform him!” Cadance replied in whisper.

“Yes we did, why you asking?” Fluttershy asked (in whisper of course).

“Well, I try to visit Canterlot to have a talk with him but it seems Shining Armor won’t let me.” Cadance replied in whisper.

“Wait…so you mean Shining Armor didn’t allow you to go to the Canterlot? Even though he knew that you are a princess of Crystal Empire?” Fluttershy was totally confused.

“I tried to convince him but everytime I mention Raze; he starts to frown and starts to eat a tub of chocolate mint ice cream.” Cadance replied shivers as she remembered the time Shining Armor ate a tub of chocolate mint ice cream while staring outside the window in their bedroom.

“Fluttershy, Cadance, when will we go to…release the bird?” Shining Armor gets closer towards the two mares.

Both mares just smiled and Cadance whispered, “We’ll talk about this later.” Then they walk towards the wagon with bird inside each cage.

Raze, still with his cloak hiding his face, walk around, observing the beautiful empire.

“I can’t believe this empire was built from scratch with crystal. After from what I read, Clover is the one who aid in the built of this empire. This was built from scratch with the help of the early Princess era.” Raze still walking around. However, his travelling business was cut short when he accidentally bumped into a pony.

“Oops, sorry…didn’t see you there.” A voice came from orange stallion that had a slight dark orange mane with a white stripe on his Nose Bridge and hooves.

“No worries, I was walking around observing the empire.” Raze calmly replied.

“Hmm…why does your face look familiar…?” the colt asked while managing his glasses, focusing on Raze’s faces even more.

“Oh…ah…ehm…maybe it’s just a coincidence! My name uhh…Moonlight Sonata.” Raze gave an awkward grin.

“Moonlight Sonata…? Doesn’t that the name of the famous pianist in Equestria during the young Star Swirl era?” The orange colt rubs his goatee, trying to remember.

“Uh…yes! I am uh…also a pianist!” Raze replied.

“Since when Reincarnation was possible…?” Sunburst circles around Raze. He continued, “Plus, You don’t look like Moonlight Sonata at all! His mane was a little curly and he wears an elegant suit-”

“Sunburst!” a happy voice came from behind, gaining Raze and the orange colt named Sunburst an attention.

“Starlight…? What are you doing here?” Sunburst replied.

“Oh nothing, I’m just taking the students for a visit to the empire!” Starlight replied. Behind her, a few students from the School of Friendship including the Young 6 were following her. Raze saw that opportunity, immediately took off running away from Sunburst which dragged both, Sunburst and Starlight attention including the young 6.

“H-Hey, where are you going? We haven’t finished talking yet!” Sunburst shouted.

“Who was that?” Starlight asked.

“He said his name is Moonlight Sonata.” Sunburst replied.

“Wait, doesn’t Moonlight Sonata already pass away? He doesn’t even look like Moonlight. But he rather looks like…”

“Isn’t that look like Professor Raze?” Gallus interrupted.

“Raze…? I thought he was in PonyVille!” Sunburst replied in worries.

“Why you look so worried?” Starlight tilted her head a little bit.

“You don’t know, when I was about to pack up my things to move in PonyVille, Raze poster was hanging everywhere around Crystal Empire!” He replied.

“A poster of our professor? Around Crystal Empire? What kind poster is it?” Ocellus interrupted.

Sunburst searches up his cloak to pull out a wanted poster of Raze (which is a very good drawing of Raze).

“A WANTED POSTER?!” Starlight and the Young 6 shouted in unison. Silverstream added, “That’s a nice drawing by the way.”

“Yes, this has signed by Shining Armor himself. I heard that he really hate what happened to Cadance after the incident.” Sunburst gritted his teeth. He continued, “If he was restrained and brought towards Shining Armor, We won’t know what kind of punishment that he will pull on him!”

“Uhm, why does Prince Shining Armor really have a beef with our professor exactly?” Gallus crossed his arms (or claw) to his confusion.

“You don’t know that Princess Cadance is his wife, don’t you?” Sandbar took a glance at Gallus.

“Well…I fell asleep during one of the History class.” Gallus replied to his embarrassment.

“Alright students, you can take a walk around the empire. I will have a walk with Vice Headstallion Sunburst. Have fun!” Starlight replied with her smile before turn around and worn out her serious face, “We have to find Raze, right. Now.”

“Headmare Starlight?” Ocellus interrupted.

“Yes Ocellus?” Starlight looked towards the Changeling.

“Can we help you find Professor Raze?” Ocellus replied.

Raze was gasping after a long way of running. He muttered, “I think I should find a shorter route to hide.” After have a few good look, he came out from the alley to have a peek. After feeling the coast is clear, he normally walk once again.

“That was a close one. I better wait at the train station-”

Suddenly he felt a painful headache. He groaned and leaned back against the nearest wall next to a bread shop. Slowly, the groan transform into a scream of pain. That attracts pony around him to get close.

“Is he okay?” a crystal pony asked.

“I don’t know, but he looks familiar…” A griffon visitor replied.

Slowly, it turns into a huge crowd. Raze realize he can’t stand up or they will know he is the pony in the wanted poster. He tries to hide his face as much as possible but the headache just hurt his head so much he can’t focus on hiding his face.

“What is going on here?” a tough voice came in, silencing the noise of the crowd. A figure pushed some several crystal and creatures aside while excusing to gives them a space. Slowly it reveals a golden guard pony with blue mane and orange body color known as Flash Sentry leading a few guard.

“Hello, sir? Are you alright?” He asked while lending a hoof. When Raze grabbed accepting his help, Flash eyes widened realizing the fur colour and his eyes.

“Sir…may I ask you a question?” He put on a serious face.

“Yes…?*groan*” Raze replied, didn’t look towards Raze.

“Does the name of Raze ring any bell?”

Raze eyes widened. He pushed the guard and immediately does a jump to the wall to avoid crowd. He immediately took off running.

“Catch him!” Flash shouted.

The other guard immediately follows as commanded. A chase, just begin.

“And…done! Hope you enjoy your new home little birdies!” Fluttershy said while rubbing the head from one of the bird.

“Finally, we’re done!” Shining Armor said.

“Good job everyone!” Cadance said while having a little blue phoenix sitting on top of her head; however it seems Cadance doesn’t notice the phoenix to be there. That causes Shining Armor and Fluttershy to snickers.

“What’s so funny?” she looks toward the face of Shining Armor and Fluttershy to her confusion.

“There’s a little blue phoenix on your head. *giggles*” Fluttershy replied.

“Really?” She looks to the top of her head. Fluttershy was right. She starts to giggles and replied, “I guess my head is her nest, huh?”

That causes for them to laugh out loud.

“So…where is Mistmane?” Fluttershy asked.

“Oh, she is playing with Flurry Heart. Taking care of her while we’re handling the bird. I’m afraid one of the birds might peck her.” Shining Armor replied.

“Oh, that was-”

Suddenly a few loud trot can be heard. That causes them to look towards the source of the noise, the garden entrance. There it is, Flash Sentry, gasping from exhaustion.

“Flash…? Why you look so exhausted?” Shining Armor asked.

“Raze…we found him wandering around the empire. The other is on his tail, chasing him, trying to get him cornered.” Flash replied.

That changes Shining Armor mood drastically. He walks towards Flash, “Did he attack you?”

“N-No. I…tripped on my way here.” Flash scratched his back helmet to his embarrassment.

“Alright, let’s catch this…tyrant.” Shining replied. He turned around, “I’ll be back.”

Cadance try to prevent her husband, “Shining, wait-!”

But Shining Armor already teleport himself and Flash somewhere.

Cadance look towards Fluttershy and asked, “Why don’t you say Raze is here?!”

“Well…” Fluttershy pauses, can’t find a better answer.

“We have to find Raze before Shining Armor. RIGHT. NOW!”

Cadance immediately teleports herself and Fluttershy somewhere around the empire to find Raze before Shining Armor did.

Somewhere near Spike statue, the Young 6, Starlight and Sunburst have been searching for Raze around.

“Where is Professor Raze? I can’t see him anywhere!” Silverstream said.

“Yona also didn’t see white pony.” Yona replied.

“Gallus, see anything?” Sandbar shouted from the ground.

“Negative!” Gallus shouted back.

Near a jewelry shop not far from the Spike’s statue, Sunburst and Starlight were walking side by side.

“Where does Raze go…?” Starlight muttered.

Suddenly, a few trots can be heard. When they look behind them, Raze can be seen running away from the guards.

Raze ran pass them, doing multiple maneuver as there too much ponies and creatures wandering around.

“That’s him! Chase him!” Sunburst shouted dragging the Young 6 attention. They immediately follow the tail of the guards.

Raze is still running, even though he manage to outrun a few guards, it seems some of them still persistent to chase him. With a headache giving out pain, he can’t concentrate to maneuver around and outrun the guards. Slowly, he starts to zone out.

“Can’t…stop…must…avoid…” He kept running.

“Stop him at all matters!” one of the guards shouted.

He leaped and jumped through multiple wagons, causing some guards to accidentally crash with the wagon or the stalls. Slowly, Raze is getting closer to the train station. But the closer he gets, the blurry the vision he had. The headache just slowly weakens Raze. After he manages to reach the station, he finally collapsed. The guards immediately surround Raze unconscious body. They use their telekinesis to lift Raze while the other block the path so no one would able to gets a closer look towards Raze.

“Raze!” Starlight and Sunburst shouts in unison. They weren’t able to do anything as the guard has taken Raze somewhere.

Raze slowly opens his eyes. He looks around and realized, he is in a dark room. However, he can’t see properly as the only light source is from the table lamp that sits next to him. The headache he had finally ended but he was confused.

“Where is this…?” he muttered.

“You’re in my…investigation room.” A voice of stallion can be heard. From the dark, Shining Armor shows his head from the darkness.

Raze shrieked, “Flying head!”

“What…? No, it’s me Shining Armor, the Prince of the Crystal Empire.” Shining replied to his annoyance.

“Oh…” Raze pauses. He continued with a fear expression, “shoot.”

“Now…” Shining Armor circled around the table, trying to have a good look at the reformed villain. He continued, “What is your purpose in the empire…huh?”

“I’m helping Fluttershy to-”

“Helping Fluttershy…? Or taking the advantage of helping her…?” Shining replied.

“Taking advantage…? What are talking about…?” Raze shout to his confusion.

“Don’t play with me, Raze! I know you’re here to do something to the empire.” Shining explained.

“What are you talking about?! I-I don’t understand!” Raze replied.

“A few cases of freezing pony had been around lately. They said they spotted a pony that look just like you have been freezing people around.” Shining said, showing him the picture of several ponies encased inside an ice. Then, he pulls out anther pictures which were taken from several places, showing a colt that look just like him.

“W-What the heck is this…?” Raze shouted. He continued, “This must be a rogue changeling!”

“But Changeling doesn’t do freezing spells.” Shining Armor said. He explained once again, “And Chrysalis was petrified in a stone. So that being said…you-!”

Bang!

A light came through a door showing Cadance and Fluttershy at the entrance.

“Shining Armor, what do you think you’re doing?! Are you crazy?!” Cadance scolded her husband.

“But he must be the source of the freezing cases!” Shining Armor replied.

“You can’t just conclude it just like that! What if you imprison the wrong pony?! Raze is YOUR little sister student too, Shining!” Cadance said.

“Wait…he did…?” Shining froze.

“Of course he did! Did you-” Cadance pauses and glared to her annoyance. She continued in a stale voice, “You didn’t read the scroll, don’t you?”

“I guess so…” Shining scratches his back mane. He continued to defend his statement, “But that didn’t make him a suspect of this incident!”

“How you can tell...exactly?” Cadance raise her right eye brow.

“Well…look at his fur color! Look at the cloak! It’s the same in this picture!” Shining try to convince his wife by showing a picture of a cloaked colt that has the same cloak as Raze.

Cadance took the picture and give it a little examination. She sighed, “Have you ever try to look closely?”

“What…?” Shining replied.

Cadance sighed deeply and show him the picture. At first, Shining Armor was totally confused but after a few careful look, Shining Armor’s eyes immediately widen, the picture show a white colt have his cloak on captured on a picture. However, one thing made it obvious, the cutie mark. The appearance of the cutie mark is nearly the same as Raze, but it’s just a blue version of it with five rhombus-shaped crystal ice surrounds the blue phoenix.

“I think…you’re right…” Shining Armor scratches his back mane to his embarrassment.

Suddenly, the room filled with light. Fluttershy can be seen flickered the lamp switch revealing the whole room is just…a store room.

“Wait, so we’re in the…storage room of you castle?” Raze asked.

“I have no other place alright?” Shining Armor groaned.

“You mean this castle has no other place…?” Raze replied.

“Ugh…do you want me to untie you or what?” Shining glared Raze.

“No need. I can do it myself.” Raze said after releasing himself from the tied rope. He walk towards Shining Armor and took the picture on his hand, “Why you hunt this guy down again?”

“Assault,” Shining Armor pauses, “Not technically assault but he had been freezing ponies and creatures lately. Anyone that gets close to him will either freeze in ice; they also reported that their magic was stolen. Everytime we nearly caught him, he always get away with it. This had been the 30 guards this week that were frozen in ice.”

“30…? That’s a lot.” Fluttershy interrupted.

“That’s why I want to put an end to this. But he still out there, watching. But I realize something; this case has been slowly decreasing for this week.” Shining Armor looks outside with a determined look. He looked towards Raze, “Sorry for tying you up. But I have to ask you one thing.”

“Yes I accept the apology and what?” Raze look towards Shining Armor suspiciously.

“I want you to apologies to Cadance for what you did before you reformed.” Shining told Raze while giving him a death stare.

“Shining!” Cadance yelled.

“No, he’s right.” Raze agreed. He walk towards Cadance, “I actually want to say sorry for…well…smacking you, Cadance.”

“I already forgive you a long time ago, Raze. It’s just…Shining can’t agree to let me talk with you face to face.” Cadance smiled.

“Wait, Shining Armor didn’t let you to meet me? Why?” Raze eyes widened.

Shining Armor stay silent for a few minutes. He finally spoke up, “I-I just can’t trust you, Raze. I heard you attacked the royalty. So I’m worried that you…well you understand.”

Raze stay silent. He simply replied, “All good.”

He walked out of the room jump through the nearest window much to their surprise. When everyone looked outside, Raze can be seen, flying towards the train station.

“I forgot he had a wing.” Shining Armor said to his amazement.

“*sigh* I hope you learn something from this.” Cadance said to her annoyance.

“I…already did.” Shining Armor felt a little regret.

Raze was waiting in one of the train carriage, looking towards the beautiful scenery of Crystal Empire Castle from far away.

He sighed and starts to massage his head as it felt hurt a little bit. His ear twitched a bit as he heard a few familiar voices were talking. From the train carriage entrance, the School of Friendship’s students, The Young 6 and Starlight entered the carriage.

“I’m worried. What are they going to do with Professor Raze?” Ocellus can be heard talking.

“I don’t know, Ocellus. We’re not lucky enough to save him from getting restrained.” Starlight replied. As they about to take a seat, they froze as they see Raze was in front of them, sitting comfortably.

“Raze?! I thought you-” Starlight was about to talk but Raze interrupted.

“It’s all settled now. No need to worry.” He replied plainly. Starlight and Ocellus took a seat on the opposite of Raze, facing him.

Suddenly, Fluttershy enters the carriage, “Raze? Where are you?” she walks around and smiled as she finds him sitting alone. However, she realizes Starlight and Ocellus already taken the seat that she wants to sit. She doesn’t want to sit next to Raze but she doesn’t want to bother Starlight and Ocellus either. Then she looked around the carriage, every other seat was taken except the one that next to Raze. She took a deep breath and sit next to Raze.

“Next destination; PonyVille!” one of the train courier shouted.

Slowly, the train starts moving, leaving the beautiful empire, getting out of the safe zone. After leaving the empire and heading out to PonyVille, Starlight starts out a conversation.

“So…what did Shining Armor do to you?” Starlight asked.

Raze didn’t reply. He just stared outside, looking at the blizzard that would go on forever for eternity, completely lost with his thought.

“Raze?”

That makes Raze to snap from his daydream, “Y-Yeah?”

“What are you daydreaming about?” Starlight asked.

“Sorry, I just…had a headache recently.” Raze replied with a pale face.

“Professor Raze, are you alright…? You don’t seem…good.” Ocellus gave a concerned look.

“No need to worry, Ocellus. I just need some rest after all of this mess.” Raze said. “In fact...” Raze lean back against his seat, “I really need a sleep before we arrives at PonyVille.”

Raze yawned and felt his eyes slowly closing, “I really…need a…sleep…”

Raze finally fallen asleep, lightly snoring. Fluttershy, Starlight and Ocellus just giggled. Suddenly, Raze lean his head to Fluttershy shoulder causing her to shiver.

“Eep!” she lightly shrieked.

Fluttershy’s face slowly turn as red as tomato.

Starlight and Ocellus who just watches giggle mischievously as they see her face turned red. Fluttershy was annoyed, but slowly, she giggled. Slowly, it turns into a lively laugh.

“Fluttershy, you sure have something with him, aren’t you?” Starlight asked, giving her a naughty look.

Fluttershy didn’t reply, instead, she flustered as Starlight asked her the question.

“N-No…we have nothing in common.” She replied; still have a slight blush on her face.

“Of course…after all…why Raze lean his head on your shoulder…?” Starlight giggles.

“He just tired…I guess. After all, we had a long journey.” Fluttershy give a warm smile.

“So…Headmare Starlight…do you want to give us a visit at the Hive?” Ocellus interrupted.

The changing topic finally drags away Starlight attention from Fluttershy. On the other hoof, Fluttershy look towards the colt with a concerned look.

“I guess he’s a little…special…” Fluttershy thought.

Slowly, the train approaching PonyVille that are now, covered in beautiful autumn leaves. Slowly, a snowflake falls down; giving a sign that winter finally arrived.

It was midnight winter and a few more days before Hearth’s Warming Eve. Raze has been resting in his room for a few days. Twilight tried to ask what is wrong but he just say it’s just a light headache. During his sleep, his cutie mark slowly shifted from orange phoenix into blue ice colors.
