Chapter 1:  An Unforeseen Meeting And A Party!

“Sooooo…, Lotus was it?” Yea?...What is it with the tattoo on your rump?” asked a curious Alexander.

“Oh, you mean the cutie mark?  It’s a lotus and it symbolizes my special talent.”

“So when you discover your talent you tattoo it on your rump?”

“Not quite. It appears through magic.”

“Say that again? Magic! And you expect me to believe that?... But – oh well, I’ve seen a talking zebra and a manticore so I

think that I somehow believe that.”

“Oh, why is that? Are you a stranger to magic?... Oh, and where are you from?”  asked the now curios spa pony.

“From where I am, magic does not exist, and in case you are wondering, I am a human.”

“WHAT!? No magic!... but how is that even possible, even Earth ponies have magic imbedded in their hooves, so they can pick up stuff, not even talking about unicorns or  pegasi!”

“Wait a minute! You mean to tell me that you have unicorns and pegasi in this place?”

“Yea, all over Equestria.”

Bells started ringing in Alexander’s head: he first woke up in a forest, then saw a manticore, and then talking zebras, and from the pony’s words there were pegasi and unicorns there too. “That’s it!”

“What’s it?”

“I’m in a coma! Please tell me I am in a coma and this is all a dream and I’ll wake up in the E.R.”

“Umm… it’s no dream, I assure you it’s real” said the spa pony.

“O boy! Fate you really do hate me, don’t you?”

“Why would you be in the E.R.?”

“No reason” lied the now panicked Alexander.

“Alexander, how did you get here anyway?”

Boy, guess I should tell the truth shouldn’t I? Fine! “I was guarding a very important person and someone planted a bomb and it exploded with me next to it, then I woke up in this weird forest”.

“Hmm…, sounds like you have amnesia.”

“Yea, probably.”

“Well I know just the pony that can help you. I’ll take you to her when we get into town.”

“Ok.”

After some time of quiet walking, Alexander and the spa pony finally got into the town  and what Alexander saw, almost made him wonder if he really wasn’t in the E.R. and this was just a dream: tons upon tons of colorful equines.

O boy, now I see why this place is called Ponyville.

“C`mon we need to find a purple unicorn with a dark purple mane with a pink streak through it.

“Ok!” said Alexander right before he bumped into twilight.

“Oh, hello Miss Sparkle! I want you to meet Alexander, he is a human and could you help him with his amnesia?”

“Hello Lotus and hello Alexander, my name is Twilight Sparkle, happy to meet you!” said a joyful unicorn.

“Hello, happy to meet you Twilight.”

“Now, what is this about amnesia?”

“Well…, he says he was guarding someone important but then they were attacked and he can`t remember anything else.”

“Hmm…, that`s serious! I think I’ll have to tell Princess Celestia about this.”

“Well, then I’ll go with you two to the library, if that`s ok with you Twilight?” asked Lotus.

“Very well, let’s go then.” said Twilight.

After some walking on the streets of Ponyville, they arrived at the library which looked like a tree, only hollowed out on the inside.

“Spike! Good you’re here, wait a sec and I’ll be right back”, said Twilight to a small creature looking remarkably like a dragon.

“Ok Twi!.. WOAAAA…, what are you?” asked the scared baby dragon.

“I am a human, name`s Alexander”

“Ok Alexander, and what are you doing here?”

“Well I was wondering if Twilight could help me with something.”

“Spike, send this to the Princess will you?” asked Twilight

“Ok, Twilight” said Spike, then breathed fire on the scroll and it flew away through the window.

“What was that?” asked a puzzled Alexander.

“A letter telling the Princess about you.”

“Wait! WHAT???” Alexander didn’t realize that she was serious about announcing that so-called Princess, but then he was surprised by a bright yellow flash.

“HUMAN!” said Celestia in an angry tone. “WHAT ARE YOU DOING IN EQUESTRIA?” said the now flaming Sun Princess.

“PRINCESS, STOP! PLEASE, HE IS NO THREAT TO US! HE SAVED MY LIFE!” pleaded Lotus, in a frantic tone.

“NO Humans are to be trusted no matter what!” said Celestia in a dead serious tone.

“Hey if you want to kill me fine but at least hear me out!” yelled Alexander.

“Very well, tell me what it is that you want in Equestria?” asked the now calmer and less flaming Sun Princess.

“First thing, I am not here on purpose. For all I know I should be dead! Second thing, I will not hurt anyone! I am done hurting! Third thing I would gladly leave if I knew how!” answered Alexander.

“Well then, fine, but I will be watching you! Oh, and one more thing: I want to see that you regain all your memories” said Celestia, while her horn started glowing. As she taped his forehead with it, she saw all his memories and started cringing a little because she knew that everyone could see those memories, since this spell was projecting the memories into anyone who stood near her.

“Alexander, I… I don`t know what to say. Why did you lie to me?” said Lotus with a little tear running down her muzzle.

“Well, I was afraid that you would be scared and…” Alexander just could not say a word because when he looked at the pony in front of him he actually felt guilt, a feeling he did not feel even when he had killed his own parents, but was now felling it for a pony which he met only a few hours ago. “I… I’m sorry for lying to you, Lotus. I panicked when you asked me those things and I was afraid you would call me a monster for what I was and I don’t blame you if you are scared of me but I want you to know I really am sorry”.

Though Lotus just saw his whole life and knew he was not trustable, she could not feel any treachery within his words, so she just accepted his apology.

“Well, I am happy that you accepted my apology, but that still doesn’t change that I am dead back home and to top it all off, I have no job or place to stay here.

“Well Alexander, as I noticed that you truly mean no harm to anypony, I will make arrangements for a house until I find a way to send you back home and since you already know each other, could you show him around town, Lotus?” asked the Princess.

“Ok. Umm…, Princess, could he stay at my house?”

“If he agrees.”

“Why not? Could use a roommate.”

“Alexander before I leave I would like you to meet me and my sister at the town hall in 2 weeks’ time from now”

“Got it”

Alexander was walking with Lotus towards his new home, but he was lost in his thoughts; he never felt guilt before and he murdered, lied, steeled, and even sold drugs and hadn’t felt any guilt, so why was he felling it for lying to a pony? No, he had to put that behind him for now.

While he walked behind Lotus, he noticed that all of the locals were eyeing him, but not with fear, more with curiosity. Some of them even said “Hello!” and one pony with a southern accent even offered him a job.

“So you’ll be working on the farm with Applejack and big Mac” said a happy Lotus.

“Seems like it. So Lotus, thanks for stepping in for me with the Princess and for forgiving me.”

“No problem” said Lotus.

“Why…Why did you forgive me?” asked Alexander.

“Hmm? Well, to be honest I felt that you really meant what you said.”

Umm… this place really is weird but I kinda like it! I wonder what would make me feel so guilty for lying to Lotus, thought Alexander.

“This is it” said Lotus.

“Oh, nice place you have here.”

It was a two story house, but the first floor seemed occupied by the spa.

“There is a free room upstairs on the right.”

“Ok, thanks again Lotus.”

“Oh, Alexander, I want you to meet Aloe; she is my sister.”

“Nice to meet you, Aloe, my name is Alexander.”

“Nice to meet you too, Alexander.”

“Aloe, he will be staying with us in the guest room.”

“Oh, ok so where are you from Alexander?”

“Earth.”

“And what was your job there?”

“I was a mercenary.”

“Hmm…, that seem well… interesting, and what brought you to Equestria?”

“An explosion knocked me out and I woke up in the Everfree.”

“Then he saved me from a manticore” added a cheerful Lotus.

“Well, someone who saved my sister’s life is welcomed here for as long as he wants!”

“That’s good to hear Aloe” said a happy Alexander, partially because he had a place to stay and partially because he was for the first time in many years accepted as a friend.

Then a white unicorn with purple mane and tail, together with a pegasus who had yellow fur and pink mane and tail walked in.

“Hello Lotus, hello Aloe, who is your friend there?” asked the white unicorn.

“Name’s Alexander.”

“Oh, happy to meet you Alexander, I’m Rarity. What are you doing in humble Ponyville?”

“I am staying here actually and Lotus and Aloe were kind enough to offer me a bed and… what’s her name?” pointed Alexander to the yellow pegasus.

“Fluttershy” said the pony in a barely audible voice.

“Happy to meet you Fluttershy” said Alexander.

“How could you hear her? I was standing next to her but I barely heard a thing” asked Rarity.

“Well…, being a mercenary, you have to be good at eavesdropping on others if you want to get a job.”

“Oh, you were a mercenary. Hmm…, that explains the weapons.  Well, me and Fluttershy will be taking the usual.”

“Right away, Ms. Rarity!”

The two spa ponies went to get the towels for the two mares, while Alexander walked up the stairs to his new home which was a room with a two person bed, a bathroom and a view of the town to top it all.

Boy, Lotus and Aloe sure know how to make a room look great! thought Alexander. He undressed and went to bed almost immediately; though it was just 3 pm, he needed a nap after what happened to him up till now.

When he woke up, he was surprised to see that it was night time, but he couldn’t go back to sleep. He had already slept ten hours, so he just went out for a walk. While he was walking he heard a scream.

“AHHHH! LEAVE ME ALONE! SOMEONE HELP!”

He quickly ran to the source of the scream to find a brown earth pony who had a treble clef for a cutie mark.

“Shut the fuck up, bitch!” said a dark grey pegasus with a black and red mane and tail.

“HEEEELP!” cried the frightened earth pony.

“Octavia, Octavia, Octavia, you know that screaming will only make it worse! Now just shut up and sit down!”

“HEY YOU! “ yelled Alexander.

“What is it buster, do you want to get raped too?” said the stallion in a mocking tone.

“THAT’S IT! YOU’RE DEAD!” said Alexander while charging at the pegasus.

With one swift move Alexander broke the pegasus’s left front hoof and then went for his neck, but stopped when he realized what he was doing. And just in time to not snap the idiot’s neck.

“AHHH! GUARD, GUARD!!!” yelled the stallion.

“Cool it buddy! They didn't come when she yelled at the top of her lungs; do you really think they’ll come now?” mocked Alexander.

“Thank you kind sir” said Octavia.

“No problem, lady.”

“What are you doing outside at this time of the night?” asked Octavia.

“I couldn’t sleep so I went out for a walk; how about you?”

“I was returning home after one of my concerts.”

“AHHHHHH!” yelled the broken pegasus.

“O boy, guess we have to take him to the hospital. C’mon, idiot, up you go!” said Alexander while picking up the pegasus he had beaten up earlier. “Wow, you’re  really light.”

“Anyway, what’s your name, Miss?”

“Octavia and yours?”

“Alexander Tanner.”

“Happy to meet you Alexander” said a cheerful earth pony.

“Hey bub, what’s your name?”

“Huh?”

“Your name, what is it?”

“My name is Storm”, answered the subdued pegasus.

“Very well then, Storm, sorry for breaking your leg.”

“What?”

“I said I’m sorry for breaking your leg.”

“Why are you sorry for saving her?”

“No, I said I am sorry that I broke your leg, not that I am sorry for saving Octavia; that’s why I am taking you to the hospital instead of leaving you in the street.” answered Alexander with as much patience as he could muster.

While they were walking down the street to the hospital, they bumped in a night guard, but this was no ordinary night guard, it was the Capitan of the night guards, and he was accompanying a large dark blue alicorn.

“Princes Luna, Your Highness!” said Octavia while bowing.

“Hello dear subjects.”

“So you are Celestia’s sister, aren't you?”

“How dare you insult Her Highness, you, abomination!” cried the night guard.

“What is it, bub you want a fight? Do you want to end up like the idiot I am carrying?”

“Whelp! You have no chance against me!” sputtered the Captain furiously.

“STOP THIS IMMEDIATELY!”

“Yes, Your Highness.”

“You do not attack strangers who cannot fend for themselves, Captain!”

“Hey, Luna was it? I am happy to kick this guy’s ass anytime, so you don’t need to keep him on a leash” said Alexander while mocking the guard.

“WHY YOU LITTLE….!” said the guard and pounced on Alexander who was still holding the injured pegasus on his back, only to receive a kick in his stomach. He then put down on the ground the pegasus he was carrying and proceeded to dodge and counter all of the guard’s attacks and then he pulled one of his knifes out and stabbed him in the leg. The Captain then fell down to the ground  screaming.

“Oh boy, yet another douchebag to carry all the way to the hospital! Great!” muttered Alexander to himself. Then looking at the princess, he said “Sorry for injuring your guard, Luna.”

“ ‘Tis no problem Alexander, he was the one who attacked you after all, but may I ask what is it with the one that you were carrying?”

“Oh, you mean Storm! He attacked Octavia here and I jumped in, but I broke his leg in the process so I am taking him to the hospital now.”

“You have a kind heart Alexander. I shall see that you get rewarded properly for your actions.”

“Thank you ma’am” said Alexander while carrying both the guard and the pegasus.

“We’re here.”

“What happened to this two?” asked the nurse.

“Oh, they just got in a fight with me.”

“And why did you fight with them?”

“Weeell, the guard attacked me and the pegasus tried to get the better of Octavia”.

“And you still brought them here, even after they attacked you?”

“What could I do? I couldn’t let them in the street now, could I?”

“Very well then. Put them on the stretchers.”

“He let the injured ponies on the stretchers and left to accompany Octavia to her house.”

“This is my home, Alexander. Thank you for saving me earlier.”

“It was nothing” said Alexander while waving to Octavia.

It was now 4 am, he was still not tired and he had been told to be at the farm at 5 am so he started walking to it and on the way there he received a formal salute from a night guard.

“Why did you salute me?”

“Because we were informed that you will be going to train us, starting next week.”

“What? Well that’s unexpected! I wonder why didn’t Luna tell me anything about this.”

“She sent a letter to you sir. It should be brought to your residence at about 10 am.” said the guard.

“Well that explains it. Anyway you don’t need to call me “sir” while I am off duty; you can just call me Alexander.”

“Ok” said the guard.

“See you next week” said Alexander.

“Goodbye Alexander”

“Oh, I almost forgot!  What’s your name?”

“Moon Star”

“Nice to meet you Star” said Alexander, while continuing his walk towards Sweet Apple Acres farm.

“Howdy partner, y’all ready to start working?”

“Sure, just tell me what to do.”

“Well y’all no good for apple bucking, but I guess you could help me carry the baskets.”

“Sure thing, Applejack.”

After a morning of apple carrying, he was already starving, but to his luck lunch was ready.

“This time we’re eating  hay salad and some apple pie.”

Alexander didn’t want to be disrespectful to the apple family but eating hay sure was not easy. After he finished his pie he went back home to the spa’s upper floor but on the way there he met a painfully pink pony.

“HIMYNAMEISPINKIEPIEAREYOUNEWINTOWNOHYOUMUSTBENEWBECAUSEIKNOWEVERYPONYINPONYVILLEANDWHENISAYEVERYPONYIMEANEVERYPONYSOYOUMUSTBENEWWHICHMEANSTHATIHAVETOTHROWYOUAWELOCOMETOPONYVILLEPARTY, sooo what’s your name??”

“Name’s Alexander Tenner” said Alexander dazed.

“Happy to meet you Alexander!” said a cheerful Pinkie Pie.

That was certainly weird, oh well..!

While Alexander was walking down the road, a blue blur hit him in the chest and threw him on the ground.

“Sorry, I was practicing some stunts, but one of them got a bit out of hoof and I lost control” said a blue pegasus with a rainbow mane and tail.

“No problem. I’m happy to meet you…?”

“Rainbow Dash.”

“I’m happy to meet you Rainbow Dash, my name is Alexander Tenner, so why were you practicing stunts?”

“To join the Wonderbolts.”

“Who?”

“You mean to tell me that you don’t know anything about Equestria’s best flyers???“

“Ummm, well, kinda yea – so could you illuminate me? I’m not from here.”

“Well they are Equestria’s best flyers and I want to join them.”

“And what makes you think they will accept you?”

“The fact that I can fly faster than sound.”

“Yea, right.”

“Don’t believe me? Fine, then I’ll prove it to you” said the blue pegasus, while flying so high up, she could barely be seen and then started plummeting to the ground so fast that an explosion and a circular rainbow were made and then turned 90 degrees  in Alexander’s direction, right before hitting the ground then she stopped mere inches from Alexander.

“Wow! That was nice.”

“That’s what they all say.”

“Counting you, how many ponies can do that?”

“1.”

“And they still didn’t let you join?”

“I know, I know, right?”

“Man, those Wonderbolts sure have high standards. See you later Dash.”

“Bye Alexander.”

When Alexander got back home he was not really that surprised to find a party in his house, but still he was surprised when pinkie appeared out of a bucket of water right in front of him.

“Hey Alexander wanna try my super duper yummy punch?”

“Nee, maybe you have some alcohol?” asked Alexander hopefully.

“Yea as a matter of fact I do, so what do you want? Corpse Reviver number 2? Pink lady? Tequila Slammer? Woo Woo? Paralyzer? Red Lotus? Death in the Afternoon? Rusty Nail? Just name it” said Pinkie Pie

“Wow Pinkie, you are really informed on cocktails, aren’t you?”

“Yea so what will it be?”

“I think I’ll take a Corpse Reviver and a Red Lotus.”

“Liking the strong ones, aren’t we?”

“Yea just give me the cocktails.” Said Alexander impatiently.

“Here you go Zander.” Said Pinkie with a wink at him.

“Thanks Pinkie.”

“No problem. Hope you and Lotus like them.”

“How did you know this one was for Lotus?” asked Alexander.

“It was kinda obvious lover boy.”

“WHAT?”

“Nothing.” Said Pinkie while holding back a giggle .

That pony is really weird.

“Hey Lotus!”

“Oh, hi Alexander.”

“Here, I got you this.”

“What is it?”

“A Red lotus.” Said Alexander with a hint of laughter in his voice

“Thanks.”

“So Lotus, do you wana dance after we finish our drinks?”

“Yea, sure.”

They both finished their drinks and went on the dance floor and started dancing.

“Ouch! my head, what happened? said Alexander while trying to get up, only to find a pony’s muzzle in his face.

“O no, please tell me I didn’t just fuck a pony, please tell me I did not just fuck her! Well, only one way to find out. I need to get up fast” said Alexander to himself, while trying to get up, but then was enveloped in a Blue aura.

“What the hell!” muttered Alexander to himself, right before coming face to face with an angry unicorn which was the exact same color as Lotus minus the pink.

“What the hay ARE YOU DOING WITH MY DAUGHTER?” asked the furious unicorn.

“UM SIR, IT’S NOT WHAT YOU THINK, I DID NOT DO ANYTHING TO HER!”

“THEN WHY THE BUCK ARE YOU NAKED?”

“OH SHIT!” He looked down and saw that he really was naked, well almost naked: he still had his underpants on. “PLEASE I CAN EXPLAIN!”

“HOW?”, roared the unicorn.

“Wait here!” Was the only thing he said before dashing out the door to Twilight, but not before putting his pants on.

“Twilight, can you do the memory spell?” asked Alexander anxiously.

“Yea, but only on short distances of time.”

“OK, then you are coming with me to the spa.”

“Why? Did you get drunk at Pinky’s party and you need to give an explanation to people?”

“Yea, to Lotus’s father.”

“Ok, I can teleport us there.”

“Well then, do it quickly, I’m on borrowed time.”

“In a sec.” said Twilight, then her horn began to glow. “Ok we’re here.”

“Alexander you better have an explanation for what I saw earlier.”, said the unicorn in a calmer tone.

“I do sir. Twilight do the memory spell.”

“Sure.”

Twilight did the memory spell on Alexander but for some reason it didn’t work. His mind was just too drunk to remember anything.

“Yea, I’m waiting for the explanation.”

“Um… you see, there is a problem, but I can explain.”

“That’s it! I had enough.” Said the unicorn grimly.

“Umm, sir, please, no no noooo!”

Alexander got beaten up really hard by the furious unicorn, so hard that all the other guests waked up except for Lotus who was, through some miracle, still asleep.

“Umm, why are you beating him up?” Asked the curious Pinkie Pie

“Because he took advantage of MY DAUGHTER!”

“No he didn’t.  I was there totally awake and he just danced with her and then got his shirt ripped off him and he was so drunk that his pants fell of and then both he and Lotus and in fact, all the other guests as well, just for some reason fell asleep. I think I put too much alcohol in their drinks.” Said Pinkie Pie breathlessly.

“Really? He didn’t do anything to her?”

“Nope, he just kissed her.”

“What?”

“Well, he was drunk, what do you expect?” asked Pinkie philosophically.

“Ok, I’ll let him go this time!”

“Pinkie you are a life saver!” breathed Alexander.

“No problem.”…..“Though I hate lying to Lotus’s father.

“WAIT! What do you mean…did I really…?”

“Yup, you kissed her more than once.”

“Pinkie, never ever, ever make me think I fucked a pony again!”

“Lotus, hey Lotus,… wake up Lotus!” said Alexander while moving the pony.

“Oh what… Alexander... about last night.”

“Yea, I was drunk. Sorry!”

“For what? It was a great night though I can’t remember anything after you kissed me.”

“Oh, don’t worry, that’s all there is to remember.”

“So, the kiss is the only important part?”

“Not what I meant.”

Lotus let out a small giggle at the commentary, only to be hit by a horrible hangover.

“Ough, that really hurts”.

“Yea couldn’t agree more. Let’s go get a coffee! That should help a little.” Said Alexander.

They went to a restaurant and ordered two espressos.

“Ah, much better don`t you agree?” asked Alexander contendedly.

“Yea, well I should be going back to work at the spa; it’s about 9 am.”

“Yea…wait 9 am? SHIT! I’m 4 hours late for work! Said Alexander while running at full speed towards Sweet Apple Acres.

“Howdy partner.”

“Sorry for being late.” Apologized Alexander.

“Ah think nothing of it; y’all can take the rest of the day off if you want. I know how crazy some of Pinky’s parties can get.”

“Thanks Applejack.”

“Bye Alexander.”

“Bye AJ.”

Alexander was walking down the street when he saw Octavia.

“Hi, Octavia.”

“Hello Alexander. I’d like you to meet Vinyl. She’s my best friend and also roommate.”

“Hey man.”

“Hello Vinyl, happy to meet you.”

“Thanks for saving Tavi’s flank from that idiot.”

“Heh. So Vinyl, was it?”

“Yea?”

“Do you play any instrument?”

“Yea, I sure do.”

“And what would that be?”

“Turn tables.”

“What? So you are a DJ?”

“Yup.”

“Ok, nice. Mind showing me some music?”

“Yea man, I have my mp3 with me in my saddlebags.”

Vinyl grabbed her mp3 and her headphones with her aura and handed them to Alexander.

“Ok let’s see now what do we have here.” Alexander pressed Play button only to be deafened by a wave of dub-step from the headphones.

“OUCH. That hurt. What is this, a bass canon?”

Vinyl burst into a fit of laughter, while Octavia giggled a little at Alexander’s predicament.

“Hey Vinyl, are you sure you are best friends with Octavia?”

“Is the sky blue?”

“Well, don’t get me wrong, but you two are just so different.”

“Well, truth be told Alexander, me an Vinyl get in fights very often, especially when she breaks my cello, but that doesn’t change the fact that she is my best friend.”

“There was I thinking that my leg is being pulled by you two. Anyway here’s your mp3 Vinyl.”

“Hey man, would you like to come at my party tonight?”

“As fun as it sounds, the last party I was at, got me bruised all over my body.”

“How did that happen?” asked Octavia and Vinyl.

“Long story short, I got real drunk and so did everybody and me and Lotus fell asleep on the floor.”

“So?”

“Well, Lotus fell on me and when her father came in the next day…You get the idea.”

“Did you two really…?”

“NO! But her father sure thought that way.”

“Ouch”, said Octavia sympathetically.

“Well, see you later man.”

“Bye Vinyl, bye Octavia.”

“Bye Alexander”, said both ponies in unison.

Alexander was walking down the street when he was greeted by a cyan pegasus.

“Hey Alexander.”

“Hi Rainbow.”

“Nice party, lover boy.”

“WHAT?”

“You and Lotus sure make a nice couple”, said Rainbow in a mocking tone.

“I was real drunk, so was everybody at the party!”, cried Alexander indignantly.

“Yea, everybody, but me and Pinkie.”

“O, so now what will you do? Fly around Ponyville telling everybody that I am in love with Lotus?”

“Alexander why didn't you tell me?” asked Lotus.

“What…NO…what are you doing here?” asked Alexander, dazed.

“I was going to Zecora to get some herbs.”

“Lotus, the thing is Rainbow here was at the party yesterday and saw that I kissed you, so she thought that we are a couple.”

“Oh…well this seems like a misunderstanding.”

“Wait, so you guys really aren't a couple?” inquired Rainbow.

“NO!” said Alexander in a loud tone.

“No… we're not”, said Lotus in a not so loud tone.

Lotus and Alexander were walking towards Zecora’s house when a shady figure jumped in front of them and then disappeared.

“WOAAA. What was that?” said a frightened pony to no one, since Alexander had already dashed off to catch it.

Alexander was running at full speed towards the shady figure but got hit in the face by a branch
