Storm King in the legion of doom

"Grogar" was staring at the crystal ball, until Storm King rudely interrupts.

"Hey, so you planning on attacking those cute ponies yet? I kinda have a busy schedule to follow and I don't have all year." Storm King coldly stated, as he left to the table where Tirek and Cozy sat.

"I'm leaving, since it's impossible to accomplish the work I need to do here. I suggest the three of you come to some kind of accord!"

The three villains simply argued until "Grogar" silenced them with magic.

"I don't care how, but you must learn to work together! Only then can we accomplish what you so greatly desire: THE DEFEAT OF TWILIGHT SPARKLE AND HER FRIENDS!"

Later.....

Storm King was busy thinking in his room on what was the deal with "Grogar", until he was suddenly interrupted by the sound of tiny hoof steps.

"And what are you doing?" The demented filly asked the storm tyrant.

"I'm a bit sketchy over this Grogar guy, and I think he may be up to something." Storm King stated.

"Well perhaps we can discuss it over a meeting. You see, Grogar left me in charge and-"

"No he didn't! Why would he leave a cute little pony like you in charge?" Storm King mocked the evil filly.

"Well first of all being cute is what allowed me to nearly drain all the magic of Equestria!"

"YOU?!" Storm King laughed at how somepony like Cozy nearly rid Equestria of all magic.

"YES! And second, I'm the smartest one here!" Cozy declared proudly.

"Umm yeah, there is no way a literal CHILD is smarter then I." Storm King pouted.

"Either way, we can discuss what Grogar is up to if you join me and Tirek in our meeting." Cozy stated, leaving Storm King to think about it.....

"Fine. As long as it's QUICK."

"Wouldn't have it any other way!" Cozy said while giving a forced smile, leaving Storm King to leave in a huff.

Later....

"Grogar wants us to work together to defeat our enemies. Which means, we need to trust each other."

"Yeah, if we are to trust each other, perhaps tell off big red over here to quit draining my essence." Storm King stated, as Tirek was indeed doing so until he stopped and spat in his cupcake.

"I wasn't doing anything of the sort! How dare you!"

"How dare I? I was literally looking at you in the process of doing it."

"I could have been doing anything! You can't just judge things for how they appear."

"It's kind of what I do bub."

"This is why Grogar left ME in charge!"

"NO, HE, DIDN'T!"

Cozy groaned in frustration until she noticed the banner she made of all of them together, which gave her an idea. She approached the table.

"I think, I know, a way that we can grow. Time to try something new something better. No more, solo, trust is the way to go. And all we need to do is work together...."

"Ahh please! No thanks! No way. I feel the need to say, I'm smarter, stronger! And I don't need you, two."

"HAH! Stronger? Ok. I guess we'll downplay, how bad you got your rear end handed to you?"

"It's time to try a better way to be bad."

"Do we really need a better way to be bad?"

"United as one."

"Teamwork? Please, what a fad."

"Combined with all our strength, we can go to any length, once we have a better way to be bad. Let's go, begin. This time we're gonna win."

"The ice you're on is thin so watch what you say!"

"I know, you're in. I think I see a grin."

"For all this pain and torture I swear you'll pay!"

"This time we've got a better way to be bad."

"Sounds like a long shot this better way to be bad."

"United as one, we'll make those ponies so sad."

"If we say ok, would you just go away?"

"Once we have a better way to be bad. We want to break their friendship, we want to make them weak. You want revenge on Tempest, you want that huge physique! So let's increase our chances, by working as a team. To crush our enemies to dust! And laugh as they all scream!" Cozy declared, as she and the others laughed maniacally.

"I think, I see a better way to be bad!"

"Just put me in charge! Make me king! You'll be glad!"

"No! Listen to me, I'm the best of us three."

"Then you'll see a better way to be bad!"

"Wait! This is my thing a better way to be bad."

"You shall do as I command! I will rule this triad!"

"Hey! This is my song!"

"Sorry not any longer!"

"A better way to be bad!"

"Now you're making me mad."

"Won't the ponies be sad?"

"That would make me so glad!"

"Now we've got a better way to be bad!"

"Hey! You stepped on my cue!"

The villains began arguing again seemingly learning nothing, until "Grogar" stepped in.

"ENOUGH! I had hopped by now you would resolve your differences but apparently not!"

"Yeah well, maybe if we knew what you're planning, we would be able to prepare for it." Storm King smugly stated.

"Assuming you even HAVE a plan."

"Of course I have a plan! I have located an object of power, and it occurs to me this is the perfect test. the three of you will work together to retrieve it. Against this item, those ponies won't stand a chance."

"I stored the magic of those unicoregus ponies in a staff that gave me the power of a thousand storms! You should put me in charge of this shindig." Storm King offered "Grogar".

"I nearly drained all the magic of Equestria! That was good!"

"I ABSORBED all the magic of Equestria! I could feel it flowing through my body as I moved!"

the three begun to argue and belittle each other over who should be in charge before "Grogar" silenced them.

"NONE of you should be in charge! You three need to learn how to work together, and you can't do that if one of you is leading the rest! Understood?!"

The three nodded in agreement.

"Good, now your mission..."

"Grogar" begun to show a projection of events that happened in the past.

"Thousands of moons ago, the self righteous Gusty the great, unable to best me face to face stole my Bewitching Bell. A talisman containing most of my own magic. The bell cannot be destroyed, so Gusty hid it in a place it has taken me millennia to discover. An enchanted cave high atop MT. Everhoof, protected by magical winds that prevent anypony from reaching its peak. There the bell has remained, until now........ Scale MT. Everhoof! Bring me back my BELL."

"Is that all?! This is gonna be easy peasy!" Storm King boasted.....

Later......

"Well it sounded lemon squeezy....." Storm King justified his boasting earlier.....

"Scale the mountain."

"Retrieve Grogar's bell...."

"Together! I Drew up a detailed plan showing several aids to show how we can...... Ditch each other.... maybe when I'm waiting for them at the top, then they'll appreciate me."

Meanwhile.....

The Storm King walked to the mountain as the winds pushed him away from getting closer.

He tried his hardest to approach by holding his arms in front of the breeze, trying to stay on the beaten path.

When he got to the mountain, he tried to climb it to the top with his bare hands, only for the wind to make him lose his balance and slide back down the bottom.

"D'oh!" He exclaimed when he landed on his butt, as he groaned in irritation....

Three hours later....

Storm King was nearly exhausted, as he climbed up and up for what seemed like days....

"Sigh..... Almost..... There......" he exclaimed, as he reached a platform....

Only to discover that the platform he was on was very close to the bottom, and that he made almost no progress whatsoever.

Storm King was fuming, as he got back down annoyed and angry over the stupid mountain....

Later.....

"THIS IS YOUR FAULT!!!"

Cozy and Tirek were now facing an Ophiotarus, due to their consistent bickering that lured it to their location.

However, just as it was about to strike, it was suddenly hit with an orb that released a green smoke that surrounded it.

It was then slowly turned into stone, as Cozy and Tirek watched in shock.

"Hah! Boom baby! Did you see that?! I totally got that bull-snake monster thing. Good thing I was still carrying these babies after my petrification." Storm King boasted

"I don't think I'll be able to sleep tonight....." Cozy exclaimed, shocked at the fate of the creature that stood before them.

"And just so we're clear I didn't save you because I like you.... I did it because..... Because I...."

"Neeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeed us?"

"Yes....."

"Clearly I was right to wait. Now tell me everything you've learned, leave nothing out!"

Later.....

Lord Tirek, Cozy Glow, and The Storm King all sat down on an open fire.

"soooooo, is that Ophiotarus...... Alive...... Or?...." The filly asked the storm creature.

"Yes. If it weren't, then I wouldn't have been able to absorb the magic from those pegacorn creatures." Storm King explained.

"So when you captured the princesses, you petrified them too?"

"Yes. And I was about to do the same to the fourth and her cute friends, until TEMPEST got in the way, took the blow, and left me to be SMASHED INTO A THOUSAND PIECES!!!"

"Those ponies have weaknesses, I made Twilight give up her magic to me in exchange for the release of her precious friends."

"Oh those ponies will do anything for their ridiculous friendship won't they?"

"You should have seen Twilight's face when her friends appeared in bubbles around me, she was all, 'Aah! Uhh! Ooh! Ehh!'"

Cozy and Storm King laughed over Tirek's mockery of the friendship princess.

"She's so stressed out all the time!"

"When I started playing with the sun and moon with the power of my staff, I thought she was going to explode!!!"

"I wish I could've seen her face when I nearly erased all the magic from Equestria."

"ALL the magic seems a little excessive don't you think?"

"Eh, I think big. Besides, it would've been worth it just to see Twilight and her friends bow down to me!"

"Indeed it would, who wouldn't love to see their faces when they've realized they lost everything?"

"She would probably be groveling at the feet of the ultimately powerful Storm King! Seeing as how I'm the strongest villain here."

"Eh boasting aside, I think working with you two may not be the worst thing."

"Perhaps.... As long as it results in THE COMPLETE CONQUEST OF EQUESTRIA AND THE LANDS BEYOND." The Storm King boomed.

"I wouldn't have it any other way..... Check out my impression of Twilight the pathetic pony princess!"

Cozy begun to pull out a doll of Twilight from her bag, as she played with it and made it do humiliating gestures as Tirek and Storm King laughed....

Later.....

The villains arrived at a shack belonging to Rusty Bucket.

When he walked out and saw the villains, Storm King punched the wall in the mountain so hard an avalanche fell onto Rusty.

As the villains walked away laughing, Rusty popped his head out of the snow to tell them he's ok.

Later....

The villains eventually made it to the mountain through some trial and error. As Storm King tried to rush it inside the cave, he was suddenly struck by a magical force field protecting the entrance.

Tirek touched the shield, only to have his hand burnt.

"Can you absorb it?"

"I can only absorb magic from living beings!"

"Like, him?"

"You USED me!"

"Not used, working together! If Tirek absorbs your energy, he might be strong enough to break through!"

"And then what?"

"Then.... He gives it back!"

"I do?"

"How do I know you won't just leave me to the timber wolves after you take my magic?"

"Would we do that to you?...."

Storm King merely waved his hand in reminder.

"Ok normally yes we would."

"I'll give you your magic back."

.................

"Fine."

Storm King suddenly felt his essence flying from his mouth as it entered Tirek's, as his eyes turned more pale.

As Storm King fell to the ground weakened, Tirek grew larger.

"So......... Much......... POWER!!!! Welcome back BABY!"

Tirek blew a hole through the shield, but it was not big enough.

"It's not big enough for me!"

"Maybe not you! Keep it open! Or I'll be trapped forever!"

"Would that be so terrible?"

"Can't....... Hold...... Much, longer!!! HURRY!!!"

Cozy ultimately made it out with the bell in hoof.

"Ta da!"

Storm King merely grunted weakly as Tirek stared with a look of doubt, before ultimately releasing Storm King's magic back to him, causing him to shrink to how he was before.

As Storm King rose up from the ground once again, he was surprised about how Tirek almost willingly gave him back his magic without refusal.

"I-.... I didn't think you were going to give it back....."

"Neither was I! But working together seemed smarter then to continue fighting."

"When we helped each other it felt better somehow......"

"I haven't felt like this since before I lost my empire..... Having others who will be there for you is.... pleasing....."

"All of these years taking power from ponies...."

"When you use your power to help others...."

"Yes it feels....... NO!!!"

Tirek and Cozy were surprised at Storm King's sudden outburst.

"The cute pony thing is contagious! It spreads to you when you have even the TINIEST bit of sentimentality! I swore to myself I wouldn't make friends with anyone! As it is weakness! And I am CERTAINLY not going to start now!"

"Same."

"Obviously."

"But...... Grogar said we have to work together...."

"I know there is something up with that old goat.... And I KNOW for certain he doesn't have our best interests at heart, noir do I think he actually is who he says he is..... Let, 'Grogar' think we're his unwitting pawns.... In the meantime, We'll cook up our own devious trick." Storm King plotted with a wicked smile.

"Ooooooooo, I LOVE a good backstabbing!"

"After that, we can go back to trying to destroy each other!"

"In the meantime, what do we do with this?......"

Later......

"YOU FAILED TO RETRIEVE THE BELL?!"

"Oh, we're sorry almighty Grogar."

"We worked together as you asked."

"We just aren't as powerful as you....."

"Grogar" Only lead out a huge screech that made everyone cover their ears.

"Obviously! At least you finally did as you were told and worked together."

"Of course!"

"Whatever you command!"

"Forget about that ding dong bell! You were right! We are much more effective, when we work as a team....."
