Storm King in the legion of doom

"Ahh, Stormy, another successful field trip I presume?"

"Don't call me that again, and yes. Spreading lies and rumors among those equines is waaaaaay too easy. We could overpower and humiliate the friendship users a million times! But as long as they have love, and harmony, and peace on their side bleh! They CLIMB UP BACK TO THE TOP! Not, anymore."

"No friendship, no magic! It's so obvious when you think about it. I did my part freaking out the pegasi."

"And 'Grogar''s absence has given me time to prepare the next part of our plan, Grogar's bell. This artifact can steal any creatures magic, it holds that magic until it is released by this spell! Which means, all the power inside is OURS for the taking!"

Tirek begun to kiss the bell.

"You're drooling on the bell."

"Let's use it before 'Grogar' gets back, I KNOW for certain that he isn't who he says he is! And I am going to prove it! We shall drain the 'goat' of his magic when he returns, and we will see who he REALLY is! Are you with me or ARE YOU WITH ME?!"

"Take my hands."

"So we can ALL be part of the spell! Unless you prefer I take all the magic for myself?...."

Storm King and Cozy reluctantly take Tirek's hands.

"Our pact stands, what we do we do as a unite. Once we bash all the protectors of pony land, we will take over and rule our separate kingdoms, ALONE, once more." The Storm King claimed, as Tirek activated the bell.

It then floated in the air and released its stolen magic to Tirek, Cozy, and Storm King.

When they got up, they emerged with new forms, as the three of them laughed maniacally.

"I have returned! Twilight's coronation is today, and we're going to ruin it, with THIS artifact. But to succeed, you MUST work together!"

"Oh, way ahead of you grampa."

Storm King jumped from the celling as a taller, muscular brute, as he zapped a magical force field encasing "Grogar" from his bare hands.

Tirek and Cozy Glow soon emerged as well with the bell.

"The bell?! You had it all this time?! Why didn't you tell me?!"

"We're villains, duh."

They activated the bell and begun draining "Grogar's" magic.

As "he" screamed and squirmed, "he" began to change into a sparkling, blue, crystalized bug that fell to the ground weakened.

When Chrysalis got up and saw the superpowered villains before her, she gasped in horror.

"That was unexpected."

The changeling ran away from the cave to warn Twilight and her friends.

"Wait! Chrysalis was Grogar?! Like the whole time? Should we follow her?...."

"Ehh, leave the bug. Without magic she is no threat to us. Besides, we have plans...."

Later....

Twilight was dealing with pre coronation nerves at the moment, as everypony was looking at them with weird looks and tense frowns.

As she wondered what could be making everypony so tense with her friends, they were interrupted by a familiar voice.

"Umm, hi.... I think I have an explanation for all of this...." Chrysalis sheepishly answered.

"Chrysalis? What are you doing here?" Twilight asked the reformed changeling queen.

"Well.... You remember that whole thing with King Sombra?.... That was SLIGHTLY my fault. And by slightly I mean I kind of..... Bought him back?...."

"What?! How could you do such a thing?!" Fluttershy cried.

"Well it was quite easy actually! All you have to do is gather his remains, draw a resurrection circle, use the correct spell and-.... Oh, you mean in a moral sense. Well, I thought it would be the best way to prepare you to be in charge of Equestria, which is why I also bought back three other villains who are.... now on the loose.... and are really not big fans of yours soooo.... My bad."

Twilight and her friends could only gasp in horror over this information....

Later, at the changeling hive....

"Let me get this straight, you wanted to boost Twilight's confidence, so you bought back The Storm King, Tirek, and Cozy Glow to attack her?!" Thorax was outraged how Chrysalis could do such a thing even after her metamorphosis.

"Don't forget Sombra."

"And while you united these THREE villains, YOU changed into Grogar?!"

"Chrysalis, how could you do this to us?" Twilight was struck how someone they thought they could trust and has changed for over a year could do something like this.

"I intended to make up for the time I trapped you and your friends in cocoons, by giving you the opportunity to fight back against your aggressors instead of being rendered helpless. I thought that after defeating three villains, everypony would see you for the confident, strong leader we all know you can be."

"You have made a grave misjudgment, MOTHER. Do you have anything else you would like to tell us?"

"Sigh.... All my magic is trapped in Grogar's bell, and The Storm King, Tirek, and Cozy Glow now have all the real Grogar's magic...."

"This is terrible! We need to alert the Equestrian princesses before this DISASTER happens!"

"I.... Need some time to think first...."

"Well there isn't any time! They're probably on their way to attack Canterlot! RIGHT NOW!"

"Then we'll stop them!"

"How?! Our previous battle with Sombra was set up!"

"Yes but your victory was real. Chrysalis could never have affected how it played out. Besides, it doesn't matter if your challenges were set up or not, your friends believe in you, and always have." Thorax assured the friendship princess.

Twilight looked on at her friends with confidence in her eyes....

"Right, Spike! Send a letter to Starswirl! Tell him we need the pillars to guard the boarders of Canterlot. If the villains are coming for a fight, we'll have one waiting for them! With The Storm King on the loose, he'll be after Fizzlepop. Warn Cadance and Shining Armor, they're our final line of defense if we fail. The ultimate battle for the fate of Equestria, is coming!"

Meanwhile....

"We're not going anywhere until you two stop arguing! Storm King.... Say something nice about Tirek."

"Ugh! He's.... red...."

"Tirek?...."

"He's..... not as annoying as I expected....."

"Good! Now we were talking about Grogar's bell."

"We should take the magic inside! With a changeling's power inside each of us, we could TURN INTO WHATEVER BEAST OR MONSTER WE WANT!!!"

"But we wouldn't know how to USE changeling magic! No other creature BESIDES a changeling knows how to do it!"

"I guess if you need a guinea pig to see if anyone could use changeling magic I'll volunteer."

The two took the risk and blasted Cozy with the changeling magic, causing her to change into a humongous dragon as she laughed maniacally.

"FOOLS! NOW I CAN TURN INTO THE MOST POWERFUL CREATURE ALIVE!!! KNEEL BEFORE MY MIGHT!!!"

Cozy tried to breath fire at the two, but all that came out was a huff of smoke that made them cough rapidly.

Cozy, annoyed, kept trying to breath fire, but the smoke eventually caused her to cough rapidly.

"COUGH! TAKE IT BACK! TAKE IT BACK!"

The two agreed and zapped the changeling magic back inside the bell, turning Cozy back into an Alicorn filly.

"Still think changeling magic is a good idea?"

"Ehh, leave it in the bell for now. We have a kingdom to subjugate!"

"So, where should we strike first?"

"Heh heh, EVERYWHERE."

The three then left the cave to invade all of Equestria.

Later....

Fizzlepop received Twilight's message, and was now hiding from The Storm King where the tree of harmony used to be.

"Ooooh Tempest! Where are yooooooooou? You have a horn that is in need of FIXING..."

"RIGHT HERE!"

Fizzlepop jumped out, and in a flash of electricity, she teleported herself and Storm King to a snowy location.

"What?! What did you do?! Where are we?!"

"Somewhere you can't hurt anyone!"

"Wrong! I can hurt YOU!"

The two battled in the frozen mountaintops for dominance, blasting lightning at each other back and fourth while bantering.

"You're gonna pay for pushing me into a pile of rocks for two years!"

"You deceived me so I could give you the power you wanted!"

"Don't take that personally! I told you I do it like ALL the time!"

"That explains why your soldiers left you after your petrification."

"WHY YOU...."

As the fight lasted for what seemed like hours, the lightning became more and more larger in range with intensity from both opponents.

"RAGH! Stand still so I can blast you!"

"Oh yes, real motivating."

Tempest then fired a bolt straight at Storm King, causing him to be greatly injured.

"Grr, you'll PAY for that!"

"Put it on my tab."

Storm King in a fit of rage blasted lightning at the mountain top above Tempest, only for her to teleport out of the way and cause it to land on Storm King instead.

As Fizzlepop walked away thinking that did the job, the snow begun to emit a blue glow before exploding and causing her to fall back unconscious.

She was then hit with an obsidian orb that turned her into granite.

"I don't know why I didn't just do that from the beginning.... Oh well, now I have all the time in the world to TORTURE you...."

Later....

Cozy Glow was weakened from Twilight and her friends putting up more then a fight, however that would soon change when the other two villains burst into the Canterlot throne room.

Storm King hopped into the shattered window as Tirek jumped in and pushed over the throne, revealing Chrysalis who was hiding from the chaos.

Cozy however grabbed her with her magic and tossed her to where the others were.

Twilight then conjured a shield to protect them from the villains.

"You think your ridiculous shield can save you?! HAH HA! The pony wizards have been captured, your elementary abandoned. Face it Princess, YOU'VE LOST."

"You can attack us, and we may fall. But we will stand together, united in friendship. And we won't stop until we defeat you, no matter HOW many ponies you take down!"

The villains could only laugh hysterically, as she had no idea what they were up to.

"Didn't you all notice something was wrong in Equestria? We've been busy."

"A whisper here, a rumor there."

"Destroy some crops, cause some damage."

"Turn pony against pony."

"Until your entire kingdom is FALLING TO PIECES! Waiting for just the tiniest PUSH to send them over the edge!"

"There's no backup friends or rainbow magic to save you now!"

"Golly! I think it's time for some REDECORATING."

The three villains then blasted a combined laser at the entire wall of the castle, obliterating it entirely as the castle begun to collapse.

"You know what's more powerful then friendship princess?..... FEAR!"

Storm King lashed at Twilight, which caused her shield to break from the pressure of his magic.

"Because when you have to protect yourself, you don't have time for ANYPONY ELSE."

"Too bad you never taught THAT in school!"

The three begun to fire at Twilight, until they were hit with a rock sent by none other then Rarity to protect Twilight.

However, they then got up to fire again before her friends protected her with a giant rock.

"Go Twilight! Get help!"

"No! I can't leave you here!"

"It's our only chance!"

"You'll come up with something to save the day!"

"You always do!"

"We believe in you!"

"LEAVE!!!"

Twilight just barely teleported out of the castle before the rock was blasted by the trio's magic.....
