A Screwy redemption

Screwball could feel her statue being carried by a chariot of Pegasus guards to somewhere unknown, and she was very uncomfortable.

It was bad enough that they took her dad to a chariot separate from hers, but not knowing what they were up to since Celestia was on her dad's chariot made her all the more uneasy.

When they arrived at their destination, Screwball would've let out a huge groan of annoyance if her lungs weren't made of rock, as she arrived in Stink-a lot where some old enemies waited for her.

She didn't know what they wanted from her, but she knew that whatever they had planned for her.....

It would be incredibly boring.....

The ponies activated their elements as rainbow lasers fired from their necklaces, which begun to wrap around Screwball's statue.

She could feel cracks in her prison as she slowly regained the ability to move again, and once she did, she landed face first on the soft grass, as she was surrounded by the mean ponies...... (Plus one bratty dragon)

"Hello Screwball, I hope your release wasn't too rough for your likeness." Twilight politely greeted the Draconequus spawn.

"Why did you release me?..... Why did you went out of your way just to bring me here? What do you want from me?" Screwball asked the ponies, while giving off an immature pout.

"As you know, you can't just run off and cause chaos freely, as me and my friends still have our elements. But we do need you, we would love it if you could reform and use your chaos for good instead of evil." Twilight explained to the chaos filly, as she could only laugh hysterically at the idea.

"And why should I do that?! After you imprisoned me and my dad in hard rock for a couple weeks?!"

"Because we have released him as well, and is in the process of reformation by Princess Cadance. If you can reform and not spread chaos everywhere, then you'll be able to keep your freedom, AND see him again."

Screwball did want to see her dad again, and frankly she was very uncomfortable standing in one position for weeks on end.....

"What's the catch?....."

"The catch is that you will be kept watch by Captain Shining Armor to ensure your reformation." Twilight stated, as her brother stood in front of the pony hybrid.

Screwball gulped nervously, as she knew she about to be taught some manners.....

Later.....

Screwball sat on Shining Armor's couch, as she whistled an incredibly annoying tune that made the captain cover his ears.

"I'm sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo incredibly bored, do you have anything to read here?" Screwball impatiently asked the captain.

"I have some comics you can read in the cupboard, if you want to read." Shining Armor offered the crazy foal.

Screwball floated to the cupboard and opened it, revealing some Daring Do comics that she took and read on the couch.

"Daring Do and the bewildering boulder of bashing?..... Who writes this stuff?" Screwball asked to no one in particular.

"Why did you take the book if you're just going to criticize it?" Shining asked the delirious filly.

"I don't know I just feel like it." Screwball simply stated, as she gave off a shrug that raised her hooves to the top of the roof.

Shining Armor, with a sigh, sat on the couch next to Screwball.

"Look, I know it must be difficult for you to understand that you must abide by some rules if you are to maintain your freedom, but your father is doing the same as well."

"I just don't see why making everything more enjoyable for everypony could be so bad...."

"Screwball..... You're a child. so you don't fully understand a lot of things, and because of who you were birthed from, your father has been a bad influence."

"He has not!"

"Screwball, I understand you love him dearly, but he has his own..... Issues..... And he has taught you to share them with him. I'm sorry that the princesses had to seal him away for so long, but the thing about too much chaos is that it makes everypony miserable, and not everypony is going to enjoy Chocolate rain or cotton candy clouds."

"Then, how am I supposed to do what I enjoy if it makes everyone else upset?"

"You keep it to yourself. Or even better, share it with someone who would appreciate it."

"Well what about you? Why couldn't you just have married dad instead of that pretty princess? I always wanted another parent."

"Screwball, your father didn't love me, he only used me to break the shield and gain back his powers. If he had married me that wouldn't have changed anything."

"I guess....."

"But I can still be there for you so you'd have someone proper to look up to, not to replace your father, but to have someone else who could appreciate your gifts?....."

Screwball sat there in contemplation, she did want someone else besides dad to take care of her.... But if she were to accept, would her father approve of it?.....

"I guess I could consider it..... But are you sure that dad would allow that?....."

"If I know my wife, I think he might be more considering in about fifteen more minutes...." Shining merely grinned, as Screwball slowly smiled in positivity......
