It was now evening, and it was time for the mating ritual for all the male and female lemurs. Plio allowed the Equestrians to come and show them how their ritual works.

She talked to her father about it first, and he slowly allowed it, even though it took a long talk for him to understand the Equestrians aren’t monsters and won’t do anything to harm them.

The Equestrians stayed with Suri and Plio, who was with the female lemurs handing them each a pink flower for when they’ve found the perfect boy for them, as they sat by the biggest tree of the lemur forest.

“Oh this is so exciting! Are you guys feeling excited?! I’ve never been so excited!” Pinkie said excitedly.

“You kind of were when Celestia came to Ponyville before Nightmare Moon returned, remember?” Applejack asked.

“Well yeah, but that was because Twilight came to Ponyville to help out and became our friend and I threw a ‘Welcome to Ponyville’ party where she didn’t seem so pleased since she said libraries are suppose to be quiet and I was like…” Pinkie was cut off by Rainbow saying, “Okay, Okay, Pinkie, we get it. You don’t need to say the whole thing without taking a breath.”

“Okie dokie!”

“Do you think Aladar and the others have found Zini yet?” Sunburst asked, “Feel like he’s gonna miss out if he is taking part of the ritual.”

“Oh don’t worry, brother,” said Sunset while gently patting Sunburst on the back, “I’m sure they’ve found him already and are on their way.” She then looks at the distance to where Yar was having his talk with the male lemurs, “Though, I think Zini’s gonna miss out on what Yar has to say to the boys.”

In the bushes of the trees, the male lemurs were leaping and sitting around Yar as he was about to help them how to find the right girl.

“Okay, boys, gather ‘round. Listen and learn from the master,” said Yar.

“Now, girls, don’t jump into the trees after the first boy with a cute back flip,” instructed Plio, “It’s more fun if you keep them guessing.”

“And if a cute back clip doesn’t work, guess.”

“You’re never going to forget this day, so make it one to remember.”

“But if you mess up, don’t worry. They’ll never remember.”

Yar and the male lemurs heard Aladar’s voice as they saw him walking by with Zini on his back and the young seven, Spike, Flurry, the mane six and Sparky walking with him while Lightning and Sparky sat on Silverstream and Hitch’s back.

“Come on, guys! We don’t wanna let ‘em down!”

“Go on, now. Chest up! Chin up!” Yar said cheerfully as the male lemurs all cheered while leaping off the tree and onto Aladar’s back. Aladar managed to catch one lemur with his mouth before throwing him onto his back.

“Make ‘em look good, son,” said Yar.

“Come on, Yar. My charm and your brains? No problem,” said Aladar as Yar laughed while watching them go.

Cadence can tell that her daughter, the dragons, ponies, creatures, Aladar, Zini and the male lemurs are on their way.

“Oh, I think that’s them,” she said happily.

“Best let them get on with it,” said Plio before they all moved away for the male and female lemurs to do their ritual.

Aladar, along with the children, came out of the trees as Aladar bellowed and heading towards the tree to show the boys to the ladies.

“Ha-ha!” Aladar bellowed again before saying, “Hey, girls, look what just pulled into town. Your buffet table of love.” He walked sideways to show the males.

The girls giggled at Aladar’s joke as Zini jumped while shouting, “Right here! Right here! Hey, free samples! Get me while I’m hot! Whoa!” Zini jumped too far and almost fell off Aladar, but managed to grab his tail before laughing sheepishly.

“Zini,” giggled Suri before following her mother and the Equestrian adults.

Zini and the male lemurs all jumped off Aladar and into the tree bushes as Aladar laid down on a log with the children joining the adults and Yar, Plio and Suri sat near Aladar. Suri started whooping as Zini let out a “Yah-hoo!” Yar joined Suri with the chittering just before Aladar let out a bellow which made Rarity cover her eyes.

“Ah! Really, Aladar? Did you have to bellow that loud?” Rarity asked in annoyance.

“Sorry. Just tagging along.” Aladar chuckled.

Zini was getting too excited that he was bouncing so hard on the branch he was on. He then fell off and landed head first in a bush and got stuck. He muttered as Suri and Flurry giggled.

The male lemurs made a big leap to the vines and started to swing on them. Zini was struggling to get out from the bush.

“You’re missin’ all the action, pal. Come on,” said Aladar as he grabbed the branch, Zini was on in the bush, with his mouth and ran towards the big tree.

“Hey, haven’t you heard? I am the action!” Zini said before Aladar tossed him towards the vine. Zini grabbed the vine and swung chaotically that he got himself all tangled up.

The girls watched the boys swinging from one vine to another. They giggled before holding their flowers in their mouths and started climbing on a vine. Zini saw they were ready to start swinging and find the right lemur for each other as he tried to face the girls.

The girls made the first move and jumped to a different vine. The boys did the same after. Zini tried to jump to another vine, but his foot was still tangled up. The boys and girls were swung back on the vine while looking at each other before jumping to the same vine, one girl and one boy to another.

One boy and one girl lemur jumped from different vines at each other, another pair twisted around on two vines before jumping to another and another pair were swinging by each other. Zini was trying to get his foot untangled so he can join in the action.

The boys and girls leaped to another vine and they each other found themselves the perfect match. A female lemur gave her chosen boy her flower before they climbed to the top of the tree along with the others. Zini finally got his foot out and tried to see if there were other girls still. But there wasn’t. He watched them all climb up with their chosen boys before getting all sad as he was still the one lemur with no girl.

Aladar watched the couples climb up to the top of the tree as they watched the sunset. After a few seconds of watching, Aladar was about to walk back to the others until he saw Zini sadly hanging on a vine all by himself. He can tell he was left out again with no girl wanting him.

He sighed before walking over to the disappointed lemur before saying, “Ah, don’t worry, Zini. You always have next year.”

“Hey, I’m lucky to be rid of them. With the ladies, before you know it, they all wanna move to a bigger tree,” said Zini as he climbed onto Aladar’s snort.

“Hmm.”

Yar can see Zini was still the one bachelor like the previous rituals.

“Oh, well. Poor Zini. The clan still has one bachelor.”

Plio watched Aladar take Zini away from the tree and realised that Zini wasn’t just the one bachelor. It was Aladar who was a bachelor as well.

“No, we have two.” Plio leaped towards her adopted dinosaur son.

“Wait, Aladar doesn’t have a girlfriend either? No wonder I can see only one din…” Twilight quickly covered Pinkie’s mouth before she could say the word “dinosaur” out loud. She looked at the purple Alicorn as she moved her hoof away before the pink pony asked, “Twilight, what’s wrong with you?”

“Plio said that Yar said Aladar was a monster when he was hatched. So they don’t know that Aladar is a…D word, and neither does Aladar,” said Twilight, “So, like Flurry asked earlier today, we’re not gonna say that word, not to anyone. Not to those that sees Aladar as a monster or to those that are related to Aladar’s kind. Capiche? Saying that word can destroy the movie history of this film.”

“I’m with Twily on this. If we’re not allowed to tell them we’re from the real world, names of those that aren’t in their respective universe or say what they’re really are, then we best stick to those rules at all cost,” said Shining.

“What are you guys talking about?” Suri asked after jumping over to the Equestrians.

“Nothing. Just private stuff, you wouldn’t understand,” lied Capper.

Suri stared confusedly at her new friends, she couldn’t tell if they were hiding something from her or telling her the truth. But she just shrugged and leaped back to Yar while saying, “Whatever.”

Aladar led down on the grass to let Zini off his snort. The male lemur leaped away just as Plio came to Aladar and said, “Well, it’s never really been his best event.”

Aladar chuckled before saying, “He’s got a tougher hide than mine.”

“Oh, Aladar, if only there was someone on the island for you. Well, you know, who looks like you, but prettier.”

“Come on, Plio. What more could I want?”

“Glad you stopped me from saying that word, because now I see your point,” said Pinkie.

Zipp excitedly took out her phone while saying, “Oh boy, I so got to ask about their ritual and get some…” Zipp was interrupted by Pipp moving her sister’s phone down while saying, “Oh no, you don’t! You’re not taking that phone out!”

“Why not?”

“Because, Zipp, we’re not in the year, in this film, where our stuff hasn’t been made yet. If you showed them your phone, they’ll get all confuse and will definitely mess up this timeline and the film as well.”

“She’s got you there, Zipp,” said Rainbow.

“Oh come on, a little Q&A wouldn’t hurt and…” Zipp was stopped by Pipp giving her stern glare. She can tell she was serious and she knew she can’t get them to let her do it. She let out a sigh before putting her phone away. Pipp smiled and said, “That’s better.”

Sandbar suddenly saw something up in the sky.

“Hey, what’s that up there?” Sandbar asked while pointing up.

The Equestrians looked up and saw what Sandbar was pointing at. Aladar noticed something in the sky as he looked up before Plio, Yar, Suri and the other lemurs saw it too.

Up in the sky were four shooting objects flying down.

“Whoa!” Aladar said in surprised. He got up and walked over to the tree to get a closer as Plio watched the objects fall from where she’s standing.

Suri wanted to get a closer look too as she leaped over to Aladar and went onto his head to look at the mysterious falling objects.

“What are they?” Suri asked.

“I don’t know,” answered Aladar.

Suri climbed to the top of the tree as she and other lemurs saw more objects falling from the sky. Aladar took a few steps forward and saw there was lot more falling into the behind of the lake.

While the lemurs were watching, Zini appeared from behind a log and saw the falling objects. He was quite surprised to see what was happening right now.

Sparky walked over to Aladar’s side and watched the objects falling. He started to see what they were and started to get scared. The baby dragon quickly ran over to Hitch and jumped into his left hoof while hugging Hitch’s chest as she started to whimper and then said, “Papa!”

“It’s okay, Sparky. There’s nothing to be worried or scared of,” said Hitch softly. But then, he saw the objects more clearly and started to understand why Sparky is starting to get scared, but also feel something’s not right, “On second thought, Sparky might be onto something.”

“Yeah, I think so, too,” said Sunny.

Lightning started to shake in fear as Silverstream gently picked him up and held him in her right talon arm and allowing him to hug her chest fur.

Plio leaped to her father’s side before seeing birds flying away while squawking in fear. Yar started to sniff something as Plio went over to him.

“Dad?”

Yar did one more sniff before saying to her daughter, “Something’s wrong.”

“Daddy, I’m getting scared,” said Flurry in fear.

“It’s okay, sweetheart, Daddy’s got you,” said Shining softly as he let his daughter hug his hoof.

Plio started to get more worried, not about the falling objects, but also her family. She leaped over to Aladar while asking, “Aladar, where’s Suri?”

“She’s up in the tree,” answered Aladar before hearing a low rumble and saw something in the sky that was even more shocking.

Plio, Yar and everyone else looked up and were in complete shock to what they were seeing now. A large meteor was falling from the sky as it hit the ground, making a bright light shone.

It faded away, showing a big smoke rising from the hit. Everyone looked at where it landed as that hit made a few waves flow on the river.

Suddenly, a big Earthquake shook the island, making the lemurs loose balance a bit as they gasped. Another Earthquake made Yar and Plio fall on their backs.

“It’s an Earthquake!” Izzy shouted in fear.

“Worse! It’s an Earthquake, and a meteor shower!” Ocellus shouted.

Plio helped her father up while shouting, “Come on! Go! Go! Come on!”

Just as Yar was making his quick leave, Plio heard her daughter’s voice.

“Mom!”

“Suri!” Plio said in shock.

“The tree!” Yona shouted while pointing at the big tree.

“Mom! Mom!”

“Suri!” Aladar said in shock.

“Mom!” Suri cried again as Plio made her way towards the tree.

“Suri, where are you?” Aladar called out.

Plio quickly climbed to the top of the tree and grabbed her daughter before jumping through the leaves and onto Aladar’s head.

“Run, Aladar! Run! Run!” Plio said.

Aladar wasted no time and ran off like Plio told him to.

Silverstream, Hitch and Shining quickly placed Lightning, Sparky and Flurry on their backs as they and the rest of Equestrians ran off as well, but Pinkie remained sat and watched the shower in sadness while saying, “Aww…and just when we were just having fun today.”

“This isn’t the time for your sad moments! Move it!” Rainbow shouted while flying towards Pinkie and pulled her along as they ran off.

The meteors were hitting the ground one by one and destroying the lake while a big red smoke was heading towards the island. The lemurs were making their escape with Aladar running as fast as he can, with Plio and Suri on his back, while gasping. The Equestrians were following behind him as the meteors began to hit the island.

“Watch out!” Capper shouted as a meteor nearly hit them.

Yar was trying to get away, but he tripped over. Aladar quickly grabbed him with his mouth and threw him onto his back while continuing to run and saying, “Yar, come on!”

Zini was leaping on a log as fast as he could. He saw Aladar running past, with his family on his back.

“Zini, jump! Jump!” Plio shouted with Aladar also shouting, “Zini, jump!”

Zini panted while leaping as he made a big jump towards the running dinosaur. Plio managed to grab Zini’s hand.

“Hold on!” She shouted while pulling her brother up.

The meteors and bad clouds were moving in closer and closer as it began to destroy the island. While running, one meteor hit behind Aladar, making him fall forwards and slid on the ground.

“Aladar!” Flurry cried.

“I’m okay, Flurry!” Aladar said while quickly getting up and continue to run.

The clouds were still coming in closer to the island. Aladar and the Equestrians as two meteors hit on two sides of them. The dinosaur and the Equestrians were all gasping and grunting as they continue to run as fast as they can. But the more they ran, the closer the cloud is getting with more meteors coming.

Three meteors hit behind them.

“I so hate epic adventures!” Rarity shouted.

“Not now, Rarity! Just run!” Pipp shouted.

Suddenly, they all came to a stop as they were now at the edge of a cliff of the island, and below the cliff, was a huge river with changes of rocks at the bottom. They all looked down as the cloud was drawing in with meteors destroying the big tree.

They looked back as Aladar gasped, seeing the big cloud coming in closer and closer with more meteors shooting out of it.

“I say we jump!” Flurry suggested in fear.

“When?!” Hitch asked.

“Now!” Oliver said.

They all jumped off the cliff and fell down to the river while yelling as the cloud and meteors destroyed the cliff and made the lemurs fall off Aladar’s back. They fell into the river as Aladar managed to get a hold of himself and swim back up. He fall back underneath the river before getting back up and started coughing after being underneath the river.

The Equestrians managed to get up while coughing out the water. Yona was struggling to stay up since Yaks can’t swim as Sandbar and Ocellus helped her by staying underneath her legs. Lightning was the last one to rise up as he coughed, but he couldn’t swim and it was making him scared even more.

“Momma!” He cried.

Fluttershy saw her son was unable to swim on his own. She quickly swam towards him, quickly grabbed hold of him and held him close to her.

“Shh…Momma’s here. Momma’s got you,” she cooed softly.

Aladar looked around to find his family, but couldn’t see them anywhere.

“Plio! Yar! Where are you?” He called before coughing again. He heard Plio’s voice from the distance, “Aladar, over here!”

Aladar saw Plio, Yar, Zini and Suri holding onto a broken tree that was swimming away. Aladar watched in shock before swimming off to save them as a big wave was made from the big meteor shower.

After a few minutes later, the shower was finally over as the waves were flowing calming at an empty island that was far away from the one Aladar and everyone else was on.

Speaking of Aladar, he had managed to save his family and made it out of the river as he breathed heavily while the Equestrians came out of the river too as they breathed heavily too.

Aladar laid on the ground to rest after all of that running and swimming. Yar was coughing so badly as Plio helped him off Aladar and allowed him to cough till he got his breath back in shape.

The Equestrians were coughing and drying the water from their manes, furs and wings as Fluttershy was gently patting Lightning’s back to help him cough better, Hitch was comforting Sparky and Shining was making sure his daughter was okay.

“Flurry, are you okay?”

Flurry coughed before answering, “I don’t know. I think I hit one of my wings on the rocks.”

“Let me check,” said Shining softly as Flurry opened her wings so Shining can check to see if they were okay.

“Hate…epic…adventures…so…MUCH!” Rarity shouted dramatically while lying on her back.

“Oh stop being such a drama queen and just be happy that we’re out and still alive,” said Zipp crossly.

Rarity gave Zipp a stern glare while saying, “Oh, how charming for you to say that, darling. Especially since we almost died!”

“But we survived and got off the island just in time!”

“And how do you know we were on an island this whole time? Hmm?”

“The river that was around the forest. Not to mention we saw the river when we were finding Zini!”

“Well pardon me for not noticing that since we weren’t with you at that time!”

“Stop it already, you two!” Sunny shouted crossly, “Arguing isn’t going to fix or solve anything! Yes, we almost died, but we made it out alive! So just stop judging each other’s moments and words, and start being grateful we made it out so far!”

Rarity and Zipp looked at Sunny before looking at each other. They knew she was right. Arguing, after surviving wasn’t gonna fix the issue they were in.

As Aladar’s eyes started to come clear from having water in them, he shockingly saw broken twigs and branches that had fire on some of them. The meteor must have hit them during the shower, but didn’t manage to destroy the whole land.

Aladar looked behind him and saw the island, that they called home, was now destroyed by the meteor shower. The Equestrians saw the destroyed island and gasped in shock and surprised. Aladar looked down in sadness as his home was gone. The lemurs were sad about their home too as Suri leaped towards the river to see if anyone was alive and made it out.

She chittered as loud as she can, but no one responded. She chittered again as Aladar bellowed to see if that will get a response. But sadly, still no response. The other lemurs were all gone, thanks to the shower.

Suri was hugging her leg as Plio, Yar and Zini came over to her.

“I feel bad. I feel bad,” whispered Suri as she was about to cry. She then hugged her mother and cried into her chest. Plio hugged her daughter while saying, “Oh, Suri. Easy, easy.”

The poor young lemur cried before saying, “They’re all gone.”

“Shh, shh. I’m here,” said Plio softly as Suri whimpered.

The Equestrians felt bad for Aladar and his family as Twilight comfort Spike, Sandbar comfort Yona, Zipp and Pipp comfort Misty, Hitch comfort Sparky, Fluttershy comfort Lightning and Cadence comfort Flurry.

“They’ve lost their only home,” said Lightning sadly.

“Shhh…I know, baby. I know,” said Fluttershy softly but sadly.

“They didn’t deserve to lose it. It’s not right,” said Spike sadly.

“No, they didn’t. You’re right, Spike,” said Twilight.

Misty wiped the last tears from her eyes before asking, “What do we do now?”

“Come on. We can’t stay here,” said Aladar to his family.

Plio, Yar, Zini and Suri looked at Aladar and knew he was right. He can’t stay there and continue to watch their destroyed home or live on a destroyed and burnt twigs and branches.

Aladar let them climb onto his back as he looked at island one last time. He looked at the Equestrians before asking kindly, “You guys wanna come?”

“Sure. We have no else to go anyway. It’s best we stick together,” answered Twilight as Aladar gave her a nod.

Fluttershy, Hitch and Shining placed Lightning, Sparky and Flurry onto their faces as they hugged their parents’ necks. They watched a flock of birds cawing and flying away before Aladar began to walk away from what was left from the shower, with the Equestrians following behind, as they journey across the empty land to find a new home, even though Aladar and his family are all that’s left.
