The Mane Six are summoned by the Cutie Map to a remote civilization in the middle of the ocean. A civilization inhabited by exactly a hundred ponies. But something is off about these ponies. Not "off" in the sense that they're brainwashed by but "off" in the sense that they're...not real. They are literally just puppets.

And then two of the puppets are found dead.
