Rarity's eagerly awaited pen pals, Mitzy Glitter and Diamond Crust, finally arrive in Ponyville, bringing with them a whirlwind of high fashion and over-the-top personalities. Rainbow Dash and Applejack, tasked with assisting with luggage and giving a tour, find themselves caught in a glamorous makeover ambush. Forced into frilly outfits and outlandish poses, Rainbow and Applejack initially chafe under the fashionistas' control, but a day of sightseeing, shopping, and surprisingly heartfelt conversations might just turn a fashion faux pas into a fabulous friendship. However, will these new friendships survive when the spotlight (and a few cute boys) come calling at Rarity’s fashion show?
