The end of the year fast approaches, and despite a warm and wonderful Hearth's Warming with friends and family, Starlight Glimmer still feels that tug of guilt weighing down her life. How can she be confident about her leadership when specters of her past still occasionally plague her? What good is a new year only an hour or so away when it's still tainted by regret?

Starlight may have progressed much, but sometimes, a pony needs somepony else to rely upon. One who sees where the truth really lies.
