An assault to harmony

"What's the matter Pinkie Pie? I thought you appreciated a good laugh."

"It's different, they're laughing at me."

"It's hardly different, your friends laugh at you all the time."

"My friends laugh with me, not at me!"

"Oh really?......"

Discord begun to laugh maniacally at Pinkie Pie, floating around and around her making her dizzy.

Pinkie was always Discord's favorite..... His favorite to BREAK.

He then made the balloon's faces that of her friends, as they laughed horribly at her with their voices.

"Stop laughing at me!"

"Oooooh, poor Pinkie Pie. And here I thought laughter made you happy."

"Happy? I don't think so!"

As he made all the balloons pop, he then travelled to Rarity's location, bent on using her love for shiny things against her.

He manifested a wall of gems in her direction, as she bumped into them.

Then manifested his face onto them.

"Welcome to your lucky day Rarity, you've found the one thing in Equestria that could rival my face for sheer beauty."

The gems shined brightly at the beautiful unicorn.

"What do you think? You like?"

"Yes..... I like very much.........."

Rarity shook out of her trance.

"No! No...... I shan't succumb to such fabulousness."

'Come on! Take the bait you drama queen.' Discord growled in his head at Spike's crush, as he tried to make them even the gems even more irresistible.......

"MINE!" She exclaimed, as she begun digging for the gems.

'perfect.' Discord grinned, as he then travelled for the kind Fluttershy, intending on turning her mean and cruel.....

He manifested as a group of three little butterfly's, luring her into a place where he can get into her head without interference......

"Fluttershy, looks like you've been left behind by your so-called friends huh?...."

"Oh no, I'm certain they're doing their best to find me."

Discord frowned, this Pegasus was a lot tougher to crack then the others.

No matter, he would break her eventually, Discord always wins against sanity.

"Well it must be so upsetting to know how weak and helpless they think you are......"

"No at all! I AM weak and helpless and I appreciate their understanding....."

Discord's blood was beginning to boil, what set off this perfectly nice pony Pegasus?!

"Yes well surely, it BURNS you up I mean, that they're always pointing out your flaws right?....."

"Not really. In fact, I think I'm awfully lucky to have friends who want me to be the best I can be."

That was the last straw, it seemed like he was going to have to Discord her by force, which was no fun at all.....

In a huff, he manifested into his default form.

"OH FOR GOODNESS SAKE! You've been kind for far too long my dear, time to be cruel! Arrivederci!"

Discord touched Fluttershy on the head with his talon, as he teleported away.

'That yellow Pegasus was no fun at all..... I can't imagine a world where I would be able to tolerate her presence for less then a SECOND.....' He scowled in his head, as he begun to turn into a cloud to lure that cocky blue pony Rainbow Trash.....

As he made it to a dead end, he manifested himself laying on a cloud hammock connected to two trees as he wore sunglasses.....

"Oh, I can see why you like these clouds so much very plush....."

"Get off there and put 'em up! Come on! Let's go!"

'The tenacity of this hot shot.' Discord grinned to himself.

"Hey! I'm here to deliver a message....."

"I've got a message for you too!"

Ok, no more fooling around. It was clear that this Pegasus meant business......

Might as well give her what she wants.

"Listen closely, this is important: A weighty choice is yours to make, the right selection or a big mistake. If the wrong choice you choose to pursue the foundations of home will crumble without you."

Discord snapped his fingers and a cloud spun around the blue speedster, as he showed her a vision of her home being destroyed.

"Clousdale?..... Crumble...... without me........... NO!!!"

He then manifested a box in front of her.

"That box contains your wings, you can take them and leave the game or you can carry on aimlessly wandering this maze. Your choice......"

His plan was coming together perfectly......

With RD taking her wings, she would have broken one of the rules.....

And with her Discorded along with the rest of her friends, the elements would be powerless against him.....

Especially if one of them was absent.

RD took her wings and flew off, as Discord snapped his fingers and destroyed the whole labyrinth.

He then flew over to the other ponies.

"Well well well, somepony broke the no wings, no magic rule!"

Discord snapped his fingers and gave the ponies their wings and horns back.

Because the game was over, there was no way they could see that the elements were never there at all.

"Games over my little ponies, you DIDN'T find your precious elements. Looks like we might be due for a big old storm of CHAOS."

Discord laughed maniacally in Twilight's nerdy unicorn face. As little did she know, he was just one step away towards VICTORY......
