An assault to harmony

"We have to go in there?....."

"Nope! Dopey Discord forgot about THESE babies!"

'Oh, I haven't forgot about them at all, I just wanted to see the look on your face when I do this.'

Discord removed Rainbow Dash's wings, as she fell to the ground and shrieked in horror.

He then did the same to the other Pegasus and the Unicorns, as he manifested himself in a flash of light.

Discord laughed maniacally at the element bearers shock and horror.....

"You- You should see the looks on your faces! Priceless!"

They truly believed that they could just cheese it over the maze so easily?

"Give us our wings and horns back!"

"You'll get them back in good time, I simply took them to ensure there's no cheating. You see, THIS, is the first rule of our game: No flying, and NO, MAGIC."

If he was going to Discord them one by one, he would make sure that they wouldn't be able to escape his corruption.

"The first rule?......"

"The second rule is: Everypony has to play, or the game is over, and I WIN........ Good luck everypony!"

As Discord vanished from the ponies sight, he watched from above the maze as the ponies prepared to step hoof inside.

He then placed walls between each of the mane six, so they couldn't rely on each other to fight against his corruption.

Then, when they headed inside the maze to find the elements, Discord made his move....

He decided to pick on Applejack first to start with.....

He then placed three apples on the grass near Applejack, which caught her attention.

He rolled them over to lure her into an area he himself had created to suit her inner mind workings.....

When AJ entered the Groove, an apple dropped on her hat.

Discord then made multiple apple piles roll towards her, as he formed them into puppets to talk through.....

"Who are y'all?"

"The keepers of the grove of truth. You may ask us, one question, past future or present. But be warned, that the truth, may not always be pleasant."

Discord snickered as he made the apples stretch and contort with his magic, as he spoke his lies and deceit through them to the farm pony.

"Alright then. I don't trust this place worth a hill of beans, but I've got a real bad feeling about this fella Discord. What's gonna come of this here mission we're on?"

The apples pushed AJ towards a puddle in the floor.

"For the answer you seek, go ahead! Take a peek......"

Discord then made a "premonition" in the pool, as he formed the image of AJ and her friends arguing in a destroyed Ponyville.

"I hope I never see you again!"

"Me too!"

"Fine!"

"FINE!"

"It's settled then......."

The ponies then walked away in a huff, leaving AJ staring at it bewildered and horrified.

"No! Our friendship, over?!"

Discord merely chuckled as he literally played the apples on a string.

This farm mare was so gullible and stupid, she didn't even see his strings!

"That just can't be the truth!"

"When all the truth does, is make your heart ache, sometimes a lie is easier to take."

Finishing the job, Discord Discorded the orange apple pony, as he laughed away from the grove and made it back into a regular section of the maze......

'One down..... five to go.' He counted in his head, as he travelled towards his next victim.....
