The Dying Rays
Sunset Shimmer has a... complicated past.
Dealing with it has been a long-lasting challenge that she still hasn't quite overcome.
So one night, when something pushes her over the edge, Sunset finds herself having to deal with the consequences of bottling up her feelings for so long, but this time, her friends aren't there to help.
And that isn't the whole problem, as her friends soon discover something else at play, and without Sunset, things could get bad. Fast.
Important:
The prequel to this fic, Number On A Tally (Currently as of 29th Jan 2025), will be rewritten. So the prequel link on this will change at some point, and that doesnt include the other fanfics yet to be written that will take place between NOAT and Dying Rays. As well as this, a few of the early chapters need rewriting or rewording in a few places, so changes (that havent been made yet) will, eventually be made.
As well as this, Chapter Four was originally written containing lyrics, that had to be removed to meet FIMfictions rules. To get the full effect, with the lyrics, you'll have to read on the Archive, linked below.
