The night was black. No moon or stars lit the streets of a quiet Ponyville. There were no street lights in this peaceful town, so walking through the streets on a night like this was rather difficult. Almost like swimming in murky waters.

But it was not difficult for her.

The mare stood in the middle of the empty street, a phone in hoof.

Ringing.

"I told you not to call here." The voice on the phone said.

"I don't care what you told me." The mare said, "I care where my marefriend is."

"..."

"Tell me." She said.

"You don't deserve to know."

"She's my marefriend!!!" The mare yelled.

The figure looked from side to side, then lowered her voice.

"Just tell me where she is."

"..."

"Tell. Me. Now."

"I see you." The voice in the phone said.

The mare looked around, checking the town for opened windows, anything that could come remotely close to hiding somepony.

"Liar." The mare said into the phone with a quivering tone.

"Duck."

Before the pony could process what the voice had said, a rock hit her in the back of the head.

The mare whipped around, looking for a source.

"I said duck." The phone said.

"Where are you?"

"With your precious little girlfriend."

The phone was then hung up.

The figure in the streets threw down the phone, raised her hoof, and smashed it to pieces. Then she turned, and ran off into the darkness towards her home.
