EPISODE 1- THE ARRIVAL

The doctor was traveling across space and time the TARDIS spun and shook as it flew through a wormhole and the doctor was kicked back and enjoying a cup of tea as he traveled until the TARDIS shook a bit more violently more and more. The doctor put his cup down and headed to the controller and tried to control it.

He looked at the console and saw the TARDIS was going in the wrong direction instead of going through the wormhole it was trying to rip through the side of it going some other place.

“Okay come on you got this doctor.. Come on..” he muttered

The doctor frantically flipped switches, pulled levers, and pushed buttons but nothing he did stopped the TARDIS. It was shaking more and more violently until the doctor could barely stand on his two feet, it was pushing through the side of the hole like a drill.

Then it shot through the hole making a rift throwing the TARDIS into a void at an insane speed and the doctor was knocked into the wall and tried to to make it to the control center but then his tea cup flew to his face and knocked him out cold.

The doctor blinked he was alive but it had seemed to have been a bit since the ship crashed into this other place that the doctor had no knowledge of, he went to try and wipe off the shards of broken tea cup from his coat but as he looked he saw he wasn’t wearing a coat, or even pants for that matter.

“Oh that's strange…”

Then he looked down at his hooves.

Hooves.

“Oh that's neat…” he said chuckling a bit as he said it

He got up and wobbled around a bit and then fell on his face. He was now not standing on two feet, now he was standing on four hooves. He stumbled around a bit getting used to his new body; he seemed to have regenerated into some sort of cow? Dog? No a pony.

He saw himself in the reflection of a metal wall. He was an equine with spiky and messy mane and a brown coat along with a blue tie which he thought was at least a bit nice considering he had no clothes. The strange thing to him was that he looked more cartoonish like an illustration in a children's book with bigger eyes and smoother edges along with other inaccuracies.

Then he heard the door to the TARDIS open someone had decided to come inside uninvited

The doctor with nothing to defend himself snuck around and hid beside the entrance to the control room. He peeked his head around the corner and saw the figure of another pony looking around. It was also very inaccurate to a real pony having a purple coat and a mane with pink a purple stripes and even a strange marking of stars on the ponies flank like this was some sort of pony dressed up for a beauty pageant. She also had a horn.

A horn.

This was not just a pony, this was a unicorn but not a mythological unicorn more of a marketed unicorn you would see in a toy store.

The doctor was hesitant but soon he turned the corner and approached slowly and right before the doctor would tap her on the back to get her attention she turned around and jumped emitting a scream not one of a normal pony again more of one from a normal human woman.

“Who the hay are you!?” she said sounding scared

“Well I’m the doctor, nice to meet you!”

“Um.. the doctor? That's your name? As in treating ponies when they’re sick or more scientifically?”

“Well science more so but I’m the doctor and it seems I’ve crash landed into a world of colorful equines! How exciting!”

“What?” she said confused

“Oh pardon me, where are my manners! What is your name?”

“Umm.. my names twilight.. Twilight sparkle I was resting in a flower bed reading until your ship here or whatever crashed into the ground! I came in to see if whatever was in here was still alive..”

“Hmm.. well it does seem I have crashed landed lets get some air shall we!” the doctor said

“Umm okay?”

The two trotted out the doctor was getting a better at walking with the new hooves and he saw the beautiful night sky through the TARDISs door and he trotted out seeing the world around him it was a nice little area a total palette cleanser from all of the dystopian steampunk cityscapes that clouded his nose with smoke.

“Um sir?” twilight said

“Yes, twilight?”

“Did that crash make you dizzy? You seem to be wiggling around when you walk around..” she said pointing at the doctors hooves

“Oh yes! Do you want the short or long form of it?”

Twilight looked confused and said “short version..”

“I seem to have lost my fingers after crashing onto your planet!”

“What?” twilight said with even more confusion “alright give me the long version..’

“Well I used to be a homosapien, until I had crashed the TARDIS there into your reality because for some strange reason while I was traveling through space and time and since I was not able to form as an homosapien in your reality I was regenerated into an equine like creature among the likes of you!”

“So what you're saying is essentially you used to be a ‘homosapien’ and after you crashed your multiversal ship here into equestria you turned into a pony?” twilight said confused

“exactly my equine friend!”

“...even though I have seen and heard many strange things in my life, that has to be the most confusing thing I’ve heard so pardon me when I say this ‘doctor’ but that seems very unlikely..”

“Ha! I think I should get a tally board for how many times I’ve heard someone say that!”

“Don't you mean somepony?” twilight said even more confused by his grammar

“Oh yes everypo-” the doctor fell silent for a few seconds and snickered and then busted laughing “HAHAHAHAHAHA!!! EVERY- HAHA! EVERYPONY HAHAHA!”

Twilight stared at the doctor like he had gone mad and said “sir I think you need some help you might have really damaged your head while flying that thing over there..” twilight aid concerned

“Oh oh sorry twilight it's… It's just so funny! I always love a good play on words! Anyways I do need a place to stay while I fix up the navigational functions on the TARDIS so is there some sort of small house you live in around here or do you ponies just sleep in the wild?”

Twilight looked like she was about to die from confusion “no we have actual towns out here a few miles away from here there's a town called ponyville…”

The doctor kept in his laughter and said “okay so you ponies have advanced society here that's good to know! Anyways let's get to it, you take the lead sparkle!”

“Alright then come with me doctor” she started toward a path after grabbing the book she was reading while relaxing on the cliff side patch of fowlers with her magic.

The two trotted along the path, the doctor looking giddy and taking note of everything around him like the way nature looked more like an illustration than real grass flowers and trees, same going for the moon and small clouds in the sky left from daytime. He kept asking questions like “what were you reading a spell book or just some light reading?” or “ is your world ruled by democracy, monarchy, dictatorship?” of course since twilight knew a lot about equestria she of course answered every question but the amount he asked and how it was simple things even foals could know it was getting on her nerves and in all honesty she was hoping for when she could just leave this whack job and go back home.

The two ponies arrive at the side of ponyville, a small town with houses adorning the streets and nature blossoming with it and the doctor immediately smiles with happiness and he runs around just loving the cute simple design of the town.

“Oh my goodness! It's so adorable! The little houses and they’re hay roofs oh! The big house made of candy over there oh I feel like I’m in a children's picture book!”

“Sir can you not!” twilight said in a whisper “other ponies could be watching you and I don't want to be seen as crazy like you!”

“Ahem… sorry twilight but this whole place just makes me so giddy it's like I’m in a little girl's dream. It's just so adorable!”

“Now since you may be from a foreign place you must not have any money so there is a shelter over by-” twilight was cut off

“Don't worry twilight the TARDIS is my home but I can’t be leaving just yet Mrs. sparkle!”

Twilight had a confused look on her face and said “one I didn’t say to go anywhere ad two why can't you? Is there a special business like your an ambassador?”

“Oh no no Mrs. sparkle I’m the doctor so anywhere I go there's a problem that needs fixing or people or in your words ponies that need saving!”

“So you're a vigilante?”

“No, I'm the doctor and I help people! And since you’ve helped me I see something in you…”

Twilight was seeing that today was the most confusing day in her life “what do you mean you see something in me?”

“Well Mrs. sparkle every time I come onto one of these escapades I team with an assistant, someone I trust and can help me with my mission and you seem to be showing signs of a good companion!”

Twilight had enough of this doctor's mad ramblings “alright let me repeat what you have said so far. You are a space traveling pony that only comes to planets when they need help or saving and you used to be a whole other race before traveling here and becoming a pony and now since I helped you you believe I should join you on an insane quest across the planet trying to defeat a force that you don't even know about?”
“That's about it!” the doctor said

Twilight processed the information and simply said “...you're insane, I wish you get some real help and I’m going to read a book in my library..”

“Oh well! I guess I’ll have to find somepony else to join me!”

As twilight walked away she thought more about the doctor's offer. She could join him but what if he was actually some insane pony with no real importance, but the more she trotted away from him the more she felt a sort of magnetic pull calling her name to the doctor like a purpose, no it felt like destiny.

She was now at her library she sat in her bed watching the moon in the sky she wondered about what that pony could have been and the strangest thing being that ship that crashed into the cliff side when she went inside the blue box became a whole building she had never heard of something like that in her life and it couldn’t have been magic because that doctor was an earth pony.

She then got out of bed and headed for the library and she started reading.

She looked under books labeled “doctor” or “time box” or anything like that until she found a dusty book that seemed to be hidden in the T section behind all the other books and it was labeled “a tome of timelords” she opened the book coughing from the dust that engulfed the book.

The book told of ancient creatures that resembled ponies and would visit the planet calling themselves as “timelords” and they would only come rarely speaking of other worlds and tagging along with other ponies that would help them fix problems. Then on one page was a chapter labeled

The doctor.

Under the chapter title was an illustration of a two legged creature standing in an angel-like pose. The boom read that only at some point would the timelords speak of the master of time one called the doctor a benevolent alien like creature that would act friendly and goofy but would see villainous ponies as inherently evil and would go to all lengths to hunt them down and end they’re evil all the while mocking and insulting them. The book never told of a time where he was truly seen so they only showed images of sketches that were drawn from description and every single one looked different.

Twilight knew that this was something to investigate. The whole description of the doctor in the book described the doctor she had met beforehand a pony she called mad. She still was skeptical but if this was true she had met a rare creature from another world and brushed it off like it was nothing, she had to return and learn more about that doctor. But how? She couldn’t follow him around because that would be stalking and that's illegal. until she remembered the doctor's offer to be an “assistant” she knew if she really wanted to know more she had to team up with the doctor.

She woke up the next morning and got her things together in a saddle bag and headed off to the cliff side. As she trotted to the spot she hoped the doctor's ship was still there and that she could get information from him. She then saw the blue box with the words “police public call box” on the front and she headed up to the door and knocked on it hoping the doctor was in and the door opened slowly for her to see the doctor standing in the doorway.

“Ah hello again Mrs. sparkle! Is your morning doing well?” the doctor said with a grin on his face

“Hello umm.. Doctor I’ve come because I decided to.. Take up the role as your assistant!”

“Oh well that's nice, I guess you don't see me as crazy anymore huh? Anyways come in I’ve made you and me some tea and crumpets before you came” the doctor headed inside and twilight followed

“How did you know I’d come back here?” twilight said

“I’m the doctor I always know!”

Twilight walked into the control room and saw the enormous control panel and all of the levers and buttons that all controlled this ship and all she could say was “wow..”

“Wow indeed my equine friend!” the doctor trotted over the the control panel and crawled under it the open a hatch

“What are you doing doctor?”

“I’m trying to fix the TARDIS so we can get it up and running again. That crash totaled the quantum travel unit. Say can you pass me a spanner from the tool box over there?”

Twilight looked over to see a red tool box sitting on the ground, she took the wrench and gave it to the doctor and he got to work as twilight sat drinking the tea and eating the crumpets the doctor made for her. It tasted good! She had never had a crumpet before but the tea was exquisite.

The doctor used the spanner and worked on the wiring. Soon he was almost finished and with the connection of two wires the panel lit up and it was ready to take off.

“So what does the ship do exactly, doctor?”

“Well it can travel across space and time and I’m thinking of time today”

“Sure, an earth pony can make a device capable of time travel!”

“Watch and learn Mrs. sparkle trust me I’m a doctor!”

The doctor flips a switch and the TARDIS begins to spin and shake as it lifts and after a few seconds it shoots off into time!

“Ready for an adventure, Mrs. sparkle?!”

“I hope so!”
