Dark Days of Equestria

CHAPTER ONE

Celestia woke up to a terrible headache, that reminded her of the first time she had drank hard cider. Slowly getting up she realized she wasn't in her chamber, or in Canterlot for that matter. As Celestia took in her surroundings she saw that she was in a forest, slightly similar, though she could not place her hoof on it.

"What... What happened?" Celestia thought to herself, " Where am I?"

While Celestia was looking around she heard a deep, ominous, bloodcurtling chuckle. Reminding her of steel grinding on stone.

"Dear Celestia, your not going to find your way out." said a faintly familiar voice, it sounded amused, but was layered with sorrow. "We're in the exact cneter of the Everfree forest."

"Whose there!" shouted Celestia with slight panick leaking into her voice. "I command you to show yourself, demon!" she shouted into the darkness.

"If I must." It said walking out of the shadows. Upon seeing it Celestia gasped, both in horror and surprise. Standing directly infront of her was an enemy as old as time, old as her even. Standing infront of her was Dark Thunder.

"How are you here?" Celestia managed to say, recovering from the shock of it all. "I banished you to tartarus!"

"I am stronger than you give me credit for." was the simple reply

"No matter, I banished you before, I can do it again." While Celestia was saying this she had been warming up the spell. Quickly consuming Dark Thunder in a light as bright as the sun, she felt her power draining much faster that it should have. "What- what's going on?" she gasped as the spell broke to reveal a pnting Dark Thunder.

"It's simple, Celstia." said Dark thunder, slowly walking up to her prone bolde, " you need the elements of harmony. Which you have so foolishly givin to six weak mares."

The last thing Celestia  saw before she blacked out was the back hoof of Dark Thunder, coming dow onto her head, the last thing she heard was his low, bloodcurtling chuckle. Taunting her with the simplicity of what had just happened.
